Abstract

This study aims to understand the implementation of internal quality assurance management in achieving national education standards through continuous improvement at MAN Insan Cendikia Gowa and SMA Islam Athira Makassar. This research uses a qualitative research approach with a case study approach. The results showed that the implementation of internal quality assurance management on the principle of continuous improvement at MAN Insan Cendikia Gowa and SMA Islam Athirah Makassar was carried out based on the fulfillment of the Eight National Education Standards by conducting continuous evaluations through school self-evaluation involving all parties to move towards achieving quality higher education is not surprising that the two institutions are one of the only secondary education institutions and have become the educational institution of choice for the community.

Abstract

Human resource management for madrasah has a vital role given the dynamics of diversity in motives, work orientation, background experience, competence, culture, workforce diversity, and globalization. This research aims to understand the strategic management of madrasah in improving the quality of Islamic human resources at MAN 2 Makassar City. This study uses a qualitative case study type method. The data collection technique was carried out through participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Before the researcher analyzed the data, the data was first processed (data processing), followed by the editing process, coding, data presentation, concluding. The results of the study indicate that the strategic management of madrasah in improving the quality of Islamic human resources is carried out through internal and external environmental analysis, strategy formulation, implementation of quality-based management that focuses on customer satisfaction focus and continuous improvement, internalization of Islamic teachings values and continuous evaluation.

Abstract

This study aims to understand the management of counseling guidance in dealing with student delinquency in MTs Negeri 1 Banjarmasin City. Of the many student delinquency behaviors that occur at MTs Negeri 1 Banjarmasin City, the triggering factor is dominated by the influence of close friends, environment, and existence in the eyes of their friends. This study uses a qualitative case study type method. The data collection technique was carried out through interviews with the head of the madrasa, deputy head of the madrasa, counseling teachers and students, observation, and documentation. The data analysis is carried out in stages, starting from data presentation, data reduction, and concluding. The results showed that the planning of counseling guidance was based on the needs of students, parents, and madrasas, which was carried out systematically. Meanwhile, the implementation is carried out by referring to the standards set by the madrasa. The evaluation is carried out regularly every month, semester, and yearly to determine the extent of the success and obstacles of the guidance program. Through planned and systematic counseling, students will have a good and superior personality.

Abstract

This study aims to understand the characteristics of organizational culture based on local wisdom in an early childhood education institution in Probolinggo Regency, East Java. The research method used is a qualitative case study type. In order to get an overview of the characteristics of the local wisdom-based organizational culture, the researchers conducted direct observations and documented activities at the institution. Interviews were conducted with principals, teachers, and guardians of students. The results showed that the characteristics of local wisdom-based organizational culture developed in schools include; child-friendly school-based women's leadership, the dual role of a teacher, strong work ethic, and religion. This study implies that developing organizational culture characteristics based on local wisdom can give complete trust to the community in these organizational institutions.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the application of educational and financial management in planning, implementation, evaluation, and financial accountability of education at MAN 1 Banjarmasin. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with a descriptive analysis approach, namely research that describes what is happening in a particular field, field, or area. The data collection techniques used observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The sources of information in this study were the head of the madrasah, the treasurer of the madrasah, the head of administration, and the staff of the madrasah treasurer. The results showed that financial management implementation at MAN 1 Banjarmasin was carried out very well. The management process begins with the planning, implementation, evaluation, and accountability processes. Financial evaluation and accountability are carried out routinely orally and in writing through working meetings, coordination meetings, and reports through online connected applications. All reports on the use of funds are accountable to the government through the Ministry of Finance.

Abstract

Anger is often a weapon for all creatures to defend their lives through the most natural way or mechanism, namely attacking other animals who are bullies or threats, not even a teacher, also has an angry agent like other living creatures. This study aims to examine anger management to manage anger for PAUD teachers to conduct the learning process calmly, not depressed, and not stressful for children. This research uses qualitative methods of this type of case study with a purposive sampling approach conducted at the Raudhatul Athfal Nurul Islam Kalibuntu Probolinggo institute. The informants in the study were principals, group A teachers, and group B teachers. Results from anger management research in improving teacher performance in schools show that first, analyze the causes of the problem. Second, personal approach and place oriented. Third, reflection so that every teacher knows the extent of their ability to manage anger. The implication is that teachers should remind each other in controlling emotions, especially when in the school environment.

Abstract

This study aims to understand the strategy of madrasah principals in realizing academic madrasah through SWOT analysis at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Bogor City. This study uses a qualitative case study approach, where the researcher uses interviews, observations, and documentation to collect data. The data analysis was carried out by referring to the Miles and Huberman concept, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. The results showed that the head of MAN 2 Bogor City had implemented his strategic management very well in realizing Academic Madrasahs. This is indicated by the success of the madrasah target achievement programs made by the madrasah principal. In addition, it can also be seen from the SWOT analysis diagram through internal and external factors described in the IFE and EFE matrices. Through this matrix, it was found that MAN 2 Bogor City is in quadrant I, meaning that the head of MAN 2 Bogor City are advised to use a progressive strategy by utilizing the internal strengths of the madrasa to take advantage of the external opportunities of the madrasa to achieve the goal of becoming an Academic Madrasah.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of managerial leadership abilities on the performance of lecturers at the Islamic Religious College in Padangsidimpuan. The type of research used in this research is correlational research. The results showed a significant and positive effect of the leadership's managerial ability on the lecturer's performance at the Islamic Religious College (PTKI) in Padangsidimpuan, with a moderate strength of 0.498. This value indicates a relatively low positive relationship, meaning a unidirectional relationship between the X variable and the Y variable. The contribution given by managerial ability is 24.8%. This shows that the leadership's managerial ability will improve the lecturer performance of lecturers and other staff support it. The implications of the results of this study can be used as input for PTKI leaders and lecturers, in improving organizational governance and performance, for the realization of a superior PTKI.

Abstract

This study aims to find, analyze, and describe internal and external factors that contribute to the professional development of lecturers; alternative strategies and priorities for empowerment-based lecturer professional development strategies at State Islamic Religious Universities. This research is field research using the descriptive analytical method. Data was obtained from observations, literature studies, key informants, and experts. The results of this study indicate that; First, the ability of IAIN Palopo's internal factors is powerful and able to overcome its weaknesses in the professional development of lecturers. In addition, IAIN Palopo has a reasonably high opportunity and is very responsive in overcoming challenges in the professional development of lecturers. Second, several alternative strategies were formulated, leading to the implementation of an integration strategy through market penetration and product development (research, community service, and article writing) through collaboration with universities and other institutions both domestically and abroad, by empowering scientific consortiums lecturers and international center.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the positive and simultaneous influence between prophetic leadership and work motivation on employee performance. This study involved employees at the Faculty of Economics and Islamic Business UIN Antasari Banjarmasin. This study uses a pre-experimental one-shot case study research design. The data analyzed in this study were obtained from survey results distributed to respondents, with the validity and reliability of the instrument first being tested. The number of instruments distributed to respondents is 10 items, with the answer choices using a Likert scale. Based on the analysis results, it is shown that Prophetic Leadership has a significant effect on work motivation. Furthermore, the value of R. Square is 0.343, and 65.7% of employees' work motivation is influenced by other variables not examined in this study. This research has implications for the importance of leaders in giving great attention to their employees to produce optimal performance
