Abstract

This study aims to analyze marketing strategies to promote madrasas for new students. The research approach is descriptive qualitative to analyze the digital marketing process that madrasas have carried out in recruiting new students during the Covid-19 pandemic. Data analysis was carried out interactively using the Miles and Huberman method, which included data collection, data presentation, data reduction, and concluding. The study results show that, first, the "superior madrasah" brand is part of digital marketing carried out by MTs N 1 Yogyakarta to attract new students. Second, the digital marketing process is carried out through several stages: setting goals, mapping target markets, initiating and planning content, creating content, distributing content, strengthening content, evaluating content marketing, improving content marketing, and online and offline marketing. Third, digital marketing is quite effective in increasing the enrollment of new students at madrasah.

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the effect of digital literacy services on educators' perception regarding the leadership of school principals and the influence of digital literacy services on school culture and the influence of school culture on educators' perceptions of principal leadership. Researchers chose a quantitative method with a path analysis technique, and with a total population of 152 teachers and up to 110 respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to each respondent and analyzed using SPSS 25. The results show a direct influence of teachers' perceptions of school leadership on digital teacher literacy services with a correlation of 0.518 and a path coefficient of 0.306, contributing to 15.84 percent. There is also a direct influence of school culture on digital teacher literacy services with a correlation of 0.586 and a path coefficient of 0.439, contributing to 25.75 percent. Meanwhile, an influence of educators' perceptions regarding principal's leadership and school culture on digital teacher literacy can be viewed from a correlation of 0.483. In other words, there is a joint influence of educators' perceptions of principals' leadership and school culture on digital teacher literacy services with a correlation of 0.64 and a contribution of 41.59 percent. This means that teachers' perceptions of principal leadership and school culture have a significant influence of 41.59 percent on teacher digital literacy services.

Abstract

The application of school principal supervision management is very much needed in post-pandemic learning. The problem of learning loss was found to be predominant among students in schools. This research is a school action research in the form of clinical supervision by the principal to overcome the loss of learning. The clinical supervision model has three stages: the first meeting, the observation, and the feedback meeting. School teachers as many as 12 people as research subjects. The data collection was carried out using clinical supervision observation sheets. The collected data is then analyzed. The result shows a score that can overcome the loss of learning. Scores in cycle I increased in cycle II. In cycle I, the average score was 70.00. Cycle II increased by 95.00 for the average score. The implementation of clinical supervision has several processes, from testing research instruments, and learning observations, to assessment. The study results show that clinical supervision can improve the quality of teacher learning in terms of overcoming the loss of learning in students.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of structures, rational and cognitive dimensions of social capital on lecturers’ performance. It employs a quantitative approach to research within the ex post facto design. The sample of the study was 67 respondents from Patompo University. Data were collected using questionnaires and documentations. Data analysis was carried out through analytical activities, which includes prerequisite test analysis and hypothesis testing. The results of the study show that: 1) overall, structural dimension of social capital, rational dimension of social capital, and cognitive dimension of social capital have a positive and significant effect on the lecturer performance; 2) structural dimension of social capital have a positive and significant effect on the lecturer performance; 3) rational dimension of social capital have a positive and significant effect on the lecturer performance; and 4) cognitive dimension of social capital have a positive and significant effect on the lecturer performance. This finding becomes an input for higher education leaders to better understand and provide with insights into which social dimension can affect the performance of lecturers by considering school backgrounds, increasing the lecturer participation thorugh reward system and appropriate performance evaluation models.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of workplace spirituality and organizational culture on teacher productivity with organizational commitment as a mediating variable in madrasas. Seeing the problems and research objectives to be achieved, this study uses an explanative research approach with a survey approach. The questionnaire was compiled based on research variables: workplace spirituality, organizational culture, teacher productivity and organizational commitment. The research data was taken from 100 teachers who were the sample of this study. Data collection was carried out by using a random sampling technique. The data analysis uses the Partial Least Square (PLS) approach using Smart PLS software. The results of the hypothesis test show that workplace spirituality affects teacher productivity. The higher the workplace spirituality, the higher the teacher's productivity. Organizational culture influences teacher productivity. This means that the higher the organizational culture, the higher the teacher productivity. Teacher productivity affects organizational commitment. This means that the higher the teacher's productivity, the higher the organizational commitment. There is an indirect effect between workplace spirituality on teacher productivity through significant organizational commitment. In conclusion, the better the spiritual workplace and organizational culture, the more teacher productivity can increase, and the stronger the organizational commitment is supported.

Abstract

This research focuses on marketing management by Islamic boarding schools to improve their image. This study used a qualitative approach with six respondents who were then analyzed and assessed for the validity of the data using triangulation techniques at Islamic boarding schools in Bantul Regency. The results of the study show that: 1) the management of education service delivery at Islamic boarding schools has been running effectively, as evidenced by the increase in students every year; 2) factors that enhance the image of Islamic boarding schools include community support, the role of large foundations, and the commitment of Islamic boarding schools; 3) these factors are strengthened by the 4P concept of marketing mix strategy: product, promotion, process, and people; 4) media activities have an essential role during the marketing process; 5) special programs in Islamic boarding schools can also increase public interest; 6) the characteristics of each pesantren are the main attraction for the community's interest in pesantren. Furthermore, the image of the Islamic boarding school can be formed by implementing a marketing strategy by utilizing the marketing mix concept and can be built through good communication in every coordination.

Abstract

This study aims to find an effective format for boarding schools by implementing human resource management. This research uses qualitative research methods with a phenomenological approach. Data collection techniques use in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. Meanwhile, data analysis techniques are carried out with Miles and Huberman's interactive analysis through data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. The results showed that: the management of educator resources is carried out through regeneration programs, coaching, and approaches to pesantren values. Preparation of educator resources through career development and training, and analysis. This research provides implications about the importance of governance of educational institutions through the implementation of human resources for the growth and development of institutions.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain clarity about the Perceived Organizational profile Support and Work Life Balance profiles, turnover intention profiles, marbot Mosque employee engagement profiles, as well as obtaining clarity on the relationship between Perceived Organizational Support and Work Life Balance to turnover intentions through marbot masjid employee engagement. The research method used is the Explanatory Survey Method, the object of this research is all marbot Mosques in East Banjarmasin District, then a sample is drawn and gets as many as 63 respondents who are represented by each mosque in North Banjarmasin District. Analysis using Partial Least Square (PLS). The results showed that Perceived Organizational Support partially had a significant effect on employee engagement and turnover intention, Work life Balance partially had a significant effect on employee engagement and turnover intention, Perceived Organizational Support and Work life Balance simultaneously had a significant effect on turnover intention through employee engagement. The results of this study are important for takmir masjid and marbot masjid to understand and create a strong relationship between the two so that marbot masjid 's desire to move or stop working can be reduced.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the nature of leadership in building a competitive advantage in educational institutions to win the competition between institutions. The location of research was carried out at three academic institutions with different cultures but having the same strategy in advancing their educational institutions, which are located in the province of West Java. A qualitative approach to the type of case study is used to reveal phenomena in the field. Interviews, observations and documentation are used as media to collect data. Data analysis is done through data reduction, data display, and conclusion. The research results show that; the three institutions use the nature of leadership in building competitive advantage through precise and effective strategies. Strengthening commitment, work ethic, sheer effort and maintaining partnerships is an effective strategy for leadership in managing their organization. This research provides implications about the importance of competencies, skills and other complementary aspects that a leader must possess in managing his organization to be the best of some of his competitors.
