Abstract

The aim of this research was to design a blended learning model using the Alef Education Platform based on the perspective of Jared M. Carman. The type of research approach in this study is a qualitative approach through literature review. This study classifies data based on the research areas examined by the researcher, which are related to the blended learning model and the Alef Education platform. The results of the research showed that the blended learning model learning design based on the Alef Education platform is Jared M. Carman's perspective, placing five keys to the blended learning model, namely: 1) Live events: namely initial orientation regarding objectives, material, time, learning steps, and the learning system that will be implemented. implemented, 2) Self-paced learning: After learning in class is finished, students can continue the material online at home according to predetermined targets. 3) Collaboration: Apart from using the Alef education platform, teachers can also use social media, 4) Assessment: In the case of assessments using blended learning, teachers can combine several types of assessments carried out online and offline. 5) Performance support materials: The supporting teaching materials used in blended learning here, the main thing is to use the Alef Education platform. Apart from that, teachers can also use other teaching materials for maximum learning results, such as books or other media that can support the learning process.

Abstract

This research aimed to innovate inventory assessment and carry out updates in inventory assessment instruments. This research used a "research and development" approach. As for the results of this research, researcher found the latest innovation in assessing Arabic language learning, especially at Maharah Kalam, namely by providing inventory assessment instruments to class VIII students at MTs Al Fath Klaten. In this inventory assessment, the researcher provides an assessment instrument in the form of a rubric. This rubric assessment instrument contains assessments in terms of the aspects being assessed, starting from the conformity of pronunciation, fluency and fluency with teacher standards, qowaid, intonation and language, accuracy of answers, courage to express opinions and mufrodat.

Abstract

This research aimed to develop and measure the effectiveness of the "Dila Bisa" learning media and education method based on Lectura Inspire. Researchers used a development model research methodology, ADDIE. The research sample consisted of 47 students and two experts as subjects. Data was collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and tests and then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman method for qualitative data and the T-test for quantitative data. The research results showed: 1) that it consisted of five development stages, namely: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. 2) It was found that the educational media "Dila Bisa" had met validity standards and had achieved subject expert test results reaching 86% and educational method expert test results reaching 90%. Additionally, from the field test, the T-test results were obtained at 0.021 < 0.05. Based on the test results, it was concluded that this media was effectively used in learning Arabic.

Abstract

This research was intended to apply PISA standards to the Arabic textbooks for 8th grade students published by the Ministry of Religious Affairs in 2020. Lliterature research was performed on the primary data sourced from Arabic textbooks and secondary data from relevant books and journal articles. The data then underwent content analysis and descriptive analysis through several steps: data collection, data filtering, and selection and qualitative data interpretation. The results showed that although the assessment instruments in the Arabic textbook for 8th grade in 2020 covered the aspects of PISA, most of the instruments were at lower levels, such as three instruments at level 1b, two instruments at level 2, three instruments at level 3, and one instrument at level 4. Based on the results of the analysis, instrument innovation was carried out with PISA standards at levels 4-6, consisting of five level 4 instruments, five level 5 instruments, and one level 6 instrument. These innovations included analysis and interpretation, critical evaluation and reflection, and high-level analysis and synthesis for better comprehension and function in Arabic reading competence assessment

Abstract

This research aimed to analyze the issues in Arabic language leaners speaking skill through psycho-sociolinguistics. This qualitative literature research explored four main categories of issues in Arabic speaking skills: phonological errors, sentence structure differences, reduplication form deviations, and socio-cultural and bilingual influences. The results of this research highlighted the complexity of mastering Arabic speaking skills, which was influenced by innate psycho-sociolinguistic factors. This research contributed to a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by non-native Arabic speakers and aimed to help learners reflect on and improve their Arabic speaking skills. By understanding these issues, Arabic language learners will be able to anticipate and address the issues as they hone their speaking skill.

Abstract

The Arabic language holds great significance in Islamic culture. Arabic is traditionally learned through in-person instruction in classrooms or scientific gatherings, while another method involves memorizing words from books or dictionaries. However, this memorization technique is often less effective due to the repetitive reading required. An alternative approach to learning Arabic is through information system media. In this research, the researchers developed a multimedia application to facilitate learning basic Arabic conversations. The research follows the Prototyping methodology, which involves building and refining a system model. This process includes seven steps: collecting requirements, developing prototypes, evaluating prototypes, coding, testing, system evaluation, and implementation. The Android-based mobile application, developed using Android Studio, incorporates multimedia features. The outcome of this research is the development of the Takallam app, designed to help users learn basic Arabic conversation. Takallam includes interactive dialogues, practical phrases, and engaging quizzes, with cartoon animations to enhance the learning experience and make practice more enjoyable. The System Usability Scale test yielded an average score of 74, and Beta Testing showed an 80% feasibility rate, confirming that the application meets the required criteria.

Abstract

This research explores the relevance of this course for future Arabic teachers through the lens of Ernest Nagel's theory, which emphasizes the integration of theory, methodology, and practice. Data was gathered through interviews with course instructors. The findings reveal that the lecturer employs a structured teaching approach that incorporates Nagel's principles, offering students both theoretical insights and practical experience. Students are trained to develop interactive teaching strategies using current technology, preparing them to teach effectively in digital learning environments. This hands-on approach enhances their teaching skills and aligns with modern educational needs. The research suggests that this integrated model could serve as a valuable framework for Arabic language education programs, highlighting the importance of combining theory with practice to effectively prepare future educators

Abstract

This study aimed to tes the effectiveness of the mnemonic method combined with Powtoon learning media in enhancing students' understanding at Pesantren Darul Falah regarding syntactic material in Jurumiyah learning. The learning steps in this research include planning material, creating Powtoon content, making presentations and delivery, providing interactive exercises, repetition and memorization, evaluating learning, reflecting, and closing. A quasi-experimental method with a nonequivalent control group design and purposive sampling was used. The subjects included eighth-grade students from class VIII A as the experimental group and class VIII B as the control group. A validated multiple-choice test measured syntactic ability before and after the treatment. Data analysis using SPSS version 25 revealed a significance level of .000, indicating significant differences between the groups. The experimental group showed a greater improvement, achieving an N-Gain percentage of 77.40%, while the control group achieved 61.38%. These results indicated that the Powtoon-assisted mnemonic method effectively enhanced students' learning outcomes in syntactic mastery, whereas the mnemonic method alone was moderately effective. By combining visual animations and mnemonic elements, Jurumiyah learning becomes more interesting and easier for students to understand.
