Abstract

NAM Al-Mulk Vocational School is one of the Islamic-based vocational schools. In this school, there is learning about making appropriate products that can be used as entrepreneurial learning. However, there is still no education on product creation that can be used as an entrepreneurial object that can be utilized for everyday economic needs. This service activity aims to provide training for NAM Al-Mulk Vocational School students in making solid soap that is safe for health and environmentally friendly. Solid soap is made by adding seaweed extract which has a multitude of benefits, one of which is to help moisturize the skin and treat irritation. The methods used are lectures, discussions, and direct practice during training. The results of the service received a good response from the participants based on the questionnaire results after the training, 75% of the training participants were satisfied with the soap-making training with the addition of seaweed extract because it met the participants' expectations. The results of ANOVA with Sig support this. equal to 0.000 < 0.05, it means that there is a difference in the average understanding of service participants before and after being given training in making solid soap with seaweed extract.            Keywords: solid soap; seaweed extract; enterpreneurship  Abstrak: Sekolah SMK NAM Al-Mulk merupakan salah satu sekolah SMK yang berbasis islam. Di sekolah ini terdapat pembelajaran mengenai pembuatan produk tepat guna yang dapat digunakan sebagai pembelajaran wirausaha. Namun, masih belum ada edukasi pembuatan pruduk yang bisa dijadikan sebagai objek berwirausaha yang dapat dimanfaatkan untuk kebutuhan sehari-hari yang bernilai ekonomi. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan memberikan pelatihan bagi siswa SMK NAM Al-Mulk dalam pembuatan sabun padat yang aman bagi kesehatan dan ramah lingkungan. Sabun padat yang dibuat dengan menambahkan ekstrak rumput laut yang memiliki segudang manfaat salah satunya untuk membantu melembabkan kulit dan mengatasi iritasi. Metode yang digunakan yakni ceramah, diskusi dan melakukan praktek langsung saat pelatihan. Hasil dari pengabdian mendapatkan tanggapan yang baik dari peserta berdasarkan hasil kuesioner setelah pelatihan sebesar 75% yaitu peserta pelatihan merasa puas dengan pelatihan pembuatan sabun dengan penambahan ekstrak rumput laut karena sesuai dengan harapan peserta. Hal ini didukung dengan hasil ANOVA dengan Sig. sebesar 0.000 < 0.05 maka dapat diartikan terdapat perbedaan rata-rata pemahaman peserta pengabdi sebelum dan sesudah diberikan pelatihan pembuatan sabun padat dengan ekstrak rumput laut. Kata kunci: ekstrak rumput laut; produk tepat guna; sabun padat

Abstract

Utilization of balakka fruit is a typical fruit of North Padang Lawas Regency which can be used for superior preparations such as balakka fruit dodol. So far, balakka fruit has only been used for balakka syrup and juice. For this reason, community service was created in innovating balakka fruit by processing balakka fruit into balakka fruit dodol based on smart production. The urgency is expected to be used as an effective and efficient solution to increase people's knowledge and skills in processing balakka fruit. This community service activity aims to carry out dissemination and training on smart production-based balakka fruit dodol processing in the community of Padang Garugur Village, North Padang Lawas Regency, so that the community can be more productive with a technological approach. It is hoped that the results of the research will increase community knowledge and skills in processing balakka fruit into dodol based on smart production so that this service activity directly influences community productivity.. Abstract

The narrow marketing reach of organic vegetable products produced by the Mama Romi group is a problem in itself for the Mama Romi group because the vegetables they obtain are traditionally traded to the surrounding community and local traders who come to the location. It is known that the Mama Romi group is still limited in terms of digital marketing knowledge and product photography training, and also limited knowledge and skills in the field of ICT, namely the use of web-based e-commerce applications and WhatsApp e-commerce as a direct communication medium with potential buyers. The method for implementing Community Service activities through the Community Partnership Program (PKM) is carried out in 4 stages, namely (1) Preparation Stage; (2) Implementation Stage; (3) Evaluation; (4) Sustainability Program. This PKM activity can help independent partners in the process of developing ICT-based product promotions to the wider community, thereby creating new benefits that have an impact on increasing income.Keywords: organic vegetables; web e-commerce; whatsapp e-commerce

Abstract

This community service (PkM) was conducted near the coast of Manggar Beach, Balikpapan City, in collaboration with partners from the PKK Khinasih Quality Family Village (KB Khinasih) group, which has micro-industry potential for processed shrimp paste. The challenges faced include: 1) the drying method for shrimp paste is conducted by sun-drying, which means that during the rainy season, the drying process for shrimp paste takes a long time and hampers the production process; and 2) sales of processed shrimp paste products are currently limited to the local community. To address these issues related to the extended drying process and to expand marketing efforts, this PkM initiative developed a shrimp paste drying tool tailored to the needs of the PKK KB Khinasih women. Additionally, outreach activities were conducted to educate them about design and packaging strategies that could be beneficial for hosting product exhibitions. The dryer has been handed over to the PKK women for suitability testing with regard to its function, quality, and capacity. KB Khinasih has also adopted label and sticker designs for packaging processed rebon shrimp paste products.            Keywords: dryer; product sticker and label; rebon shrimp paste

Abstract

Ciptakarya Village has an official village website as an information center and means of publishing all the potential that exists in the Village. Continuing the ongoing dedication to website development, data is then needed to develop a Database System on the web profile of the Cipta Karya village. This service activity aims to empower village officials through introduction and assistance in introducing the importance of Database management in the Guestbook application. In carrying out this service activity, the methods applied are 1) Socialization of activities, 2 Presentation of material by recognizing the basic benefits of data, 3) Training and assistance in using the guest book application, 4) Evaluation. The result of this service activity is a guest book application for the creative work village in managing data on visitors who visit the village office.Keywords: database; guest book; village apparatus  Abstrak: Desa Ciptakarya memiliki website resmi desa sebagai pusat informasi dan sarana publikasi semua potensi yang ada di Desa. Melanjutkan pengabdian yang berjalan pada pengembangan website, maka selanjutnya dibutuhkan data dalam melakukan pengembangan  Sistem Basis Data  pada web profile desa cipta karya. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memperdayakan perangkat desa melalui pengenalan dan pendampingan dalam mengenal pentingnya pengelolaan Basis Data dalam aplikasi Buku Tamu. Dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian ini metode yang diterapkan adalah 1) Sosialisasi kegiatan, 2)Pemaparan materi dengan mengenal manfaat basis data 3)Pelatihan dan pendampingan penggunaan aplikasi buku tamu, 4) Evaluasi. Abstract

The Poultry Jaya farmer group is in the city of Kefamenanu, the native chicken farming system of the Jaya Poultry Group is still conventional. One of the main problems faced by this group is the lack of monitoring and controlling the temperature of the cage as well as monitoring the ammonia gas produced by chicken droppings. Temperature and ammonia gas levels have a major impact on chicken growth and health. To overcome this problem, it is necessary to implement Internet of Things (IoT) technology integrated with Android applications. This technology allows automatic and periodic monitoring of cage temperature and ammonia gas levels. Farmers can access information via the Android app and take necessary action if significant changes occur. This community service aims to build tools and systems for automatic temperature control and IoT-based ammonia levels integrated with Android, as well as introducing technology and providing training and assistance to the Unggas Jaya farmer group regarding IoT technology in chicken coop management. With the existence of IoT technology, it is hoped that the behavior patterns of farmers will change to become more modern and efficient. This technology can help improve poultry farming performance, reduce risks, and provide convenience in cage management so that it will bring positive changes to the productivity and welfare of farmers. Keywords: Poultry Jaya farmer group; chicken coop; Internet of Things (IoT)

Abstract

Service activities at the Indonesian Women Entrepreneurs Cooperative Organization or usually abbreviated as KOWAPI are continuous service activities from previous service activities in 2022. The 2022 service focuses on creating a web profile for the KOWAPI organization. Based on the problems that partners are currently experiencing, namely a lack of understanding regarding digitalization and website literacy, the KOWAPI organization requested that the Shanti Bhuana Institute lecturers return to carrying out service that focuses on assistance in managing the existing web profile. Mentoring activities are carried out so that the KOWAPI organization's web profile can continue to be updated, so that it can help the development of the organization. The assistance provided focuses on creating news content, managing the website dashboard, and updating the home dashboard by including video content and photos of KOWAPI organizational activities.             Keywords: mentoring; web managing; kowapi; service.  Abstrak: Kegiatan pengabdian di Organisasi Koperasi Wanita Pengusaha Indonesia atau biasa disingkat KOWAPI merupakan kegiatan pengabdian berkelanjutan dari kegiatan pengabdian sebelumnya di tahun 2022. Pada pengabdian tahun 2022 berfokus pada pembuatan web profile untuk organisasi KOWAPI. Berdasarkan permasalahan yang mitra alami saat ini, yaitu kurangnya pemahaman berkaitan dengan digitalisasi dan literasi website, organisasi KOWAPI meminta agar pihak Dosen Institut Shanti Bhuana kembali melakukan pengabdian yang berfokus pada pendampingan dalam pengelolaan web profile yang sudah ada saat ini. Kegiatan pendampingan dilakukan agar web profile organisasi KOWAPI dapat terus diupdate, sehingga dapat membantu untuk perkembangan organisasi tersebut. Pendampingan yang dilakukan berfokus pada pembuatan konten berita, pengelolaan dashboard website, dan update dashboard beranda dengan memasukkan konten video dan foto-foto kegiatan organisai KOWAPI. Kata kunci: pendampingan; pengelolaan web; kowapi; pengabdian.

Abstract

Technological advances in the modern era are now becoming a trend in the lives of every individual and in various fields. One of them is QR (Quick Response) Code technology in the Android-based Heroes application. This research explains the community service program, especially for partners at Yohanes Gabriel Catholic Elementary School located in Sidodadi, Garum District, Blitar Regency. Our service is by creating an application that contains sketches of the faces of Indonesian Heroes and their struggles both before and after independence, wrapped in short videos. The method used is face-to-face where we provide guidance to teachers in using the application we created and provide outreach to elementary school students regarding the application created. With this application which utilizes the latest technology, it has had a positive impact, especially for our partners at Yohanes Gabriel Catholic Elementary School, where the elementary school teachers can use the application we created in their teaching and learning activities..            Keywords: QR code; community service; android

Abstract

The existence of blog media in disseminating information is a means of storing information online that can be used by staff so that they can provide all information without space and time limits. The PKK of East Sei Silau Village, Asahan Regency, has several active activities carried out in several places in its environment. In carrying out these activities, they still use devices manually to provide information in their activities. The aim of carrying out this service activity is to find out the use of blogs in the business and economic category, to find something unique about blogs that can be published to various parties regarding the use of business and economic blogs so that they can be used effectively and more usefully. The activity implementation method used was in the form of training, interactive discussions with the entire PKK team in East Sei Silau Village, Asahan Regency. This activity uses theoretical and practical knowledge in the room. As a result of the final assessment of the activity, the participants were able to understand the material presented based on the results of the assessment scores obtained from the posttest test results. The activity material given to participants can be used and utilized in creating a blog. The material presented to participants reached 90% of all the concepts involved in creating blogs. The delivery of the material consists of several sessions, namely: explanation, practice, and discussion.

Abstract

Stunting is a health problem currently the government's primary concern because it affects the quality of human resources. One of the areas that is still being targeted for handling stunting is Maskuning Wetan Village, Pujer District, Bondowoso Regency, East Java, with 14.36% of stunting cases. Diet, including the food type, is important in managing stunting. Most mothers in this area have lack knowledge in healthy food processing. Therefore, in this service program, several steps to handle stunting related to healthy food processing were carried out through counselling and training activities. The main ingredient used is the Moringa plant, which is known in many countries to overcome malnutrition because it is rich in nutrients, obtained easily, and affordable. The activity program is hoped to support the government's efforts in reducing the prevalence of stunting in Maskuning Wetan Village.           Keywords: healthy food; moringa; stunting  Abstrak: Stunting merupakan masalah kesehatan yang menjadi perhatian utama pemerintah hingga saat ini karena berpengaruh pada kualitas sumber daya manusia. Salah satu daerah yang masih menjadi sasaran penanganan stunting adalah Desa Maskuning Wetan, Kecamatan Pujer, Kabupaten Bondowoso, Jawa Timur dengan kasus stunting sebanyak 14,36%. Pola makan termasuk jenis makanan berperan penting dalam penanganan stunting. Sebagian besar ibu di daerah tersebut masih banyak yang belum mengetahui cara pengolahan makanan sehat. Oleh karena itu, pada program pengabdian ini dilakukan beberapa langkah penanganan stunting terkait pengolahan makanan sehat berupa kegiatan penyuluhan dan pelatihan. Bahan utama yang digunakan adalah tanaman kelor yang telah dikenal di berbagai negara untuk mengatasi malnutrisi karena kaya akan kandungan nutrisi, mudah diperoleh, dan terjangkau. Dengan adanya program kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat mendukung upaya pemerintah dalam menurunkan prevalensi stunting di Desa Maskuning Wetan.Kata kunci: kelor; makanan sehat; stunting
