Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the application of the ADI model on critical thinking skills based on different types of choleric personality, melancholy, phlegmatic, and sanguine. This study uses a quasi experimental type Pretest-posttest Control Group Design. The results showed that there was a significant effect of learning with the ADI model on critical thinking skills in the type of choleric personality, melancholy, phlegmatic, and sanguine and there were differences in critical thinking skills between the four personality types, namely choleric and melancholy, phlegmatic, sanguine, this is because choleric students who are more likely to appear more active in communicating and moving quickly to act, where in this ADI model are required to give a lot of argumentation through verbal or communicating between fellow students to give their arguments. This shows that the use of the ADI learning model is able to improve students' critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Studi ini bertujuan untuk mempelajari efektivitas pembelajaran dengan model PBL yang menggunakan pendekatan saintifik sesuai kurikulum yang ada di Indonesia ditinjau dari kemampuan pemecahan masalah kimia siswa. Pemecahan masalah yang dikaji yaitu pada masalah larutan asam – basa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu dengan menggunakan  nonequivalent control group design. Sampel yang digunakan berjumlah 43 siswa yang terbagi menjadi 2 kelas. Kelas eksperimen 1 menggunakan pembelajaran model PBL dengan pendekatan saintifik dan kelas eksperimen 2 dengan model yang sering dipakai guru kimia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan model PBL menggunakan pendekatan saintifik pada materi asam basa efektif meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa.

Abstract

done the theoretical study to find the weaknesses of learning for Environmental Education (PLH) were implemented in the schools by the integrative technic and their alternative solutions. Based on the theoretical study, the learning process of PLH in the schools has been more particularly informative (emphasis of cognitive aspect). Supposedly, PLH learning in the schools more emphasis on the development of attitudes and behavior (character) by the contextually. One of the learning that combines character education, contextual learning and usefully media is MOTORIC learning model that is an innovation of PLH learning in the schools with a series of phases of learning are: Motivation, Observation, Talking, Orientation, Reflection, Implementation and Confirmation. Through the application of MOTORIC learning models for PLH on on the schools, is expected to grow the environmental attitudes and behavior for the students.

Abstract

Perbandingan Hasil Belajar Siswa antara Model Guided Inquiry dan Discovery Learning Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan hasil belajar antara model guided inquiry dan discovery learning pada materi tekanan zat cair siswa SMPN 8 Bandar Lampung. Desain eksperimen pada penelitian menggunakan bentuk Quasi Eksperimental Design dengan tipe Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Teknik analisis data hasil belajar siswa menggunakan skor N-gain dan pengujian hipotesis menggunakan Independent Sample T-Test. Nilai Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,002 < 0,05. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan rata-rata hasil belajar ranah kognitif siswa antara model guided inquiry dan discovery learning, hal ini ditunjukkan dengan adanya perbedaan rata-rata nilai N-gain pada kelas eksperimen I sebesar 0,71 dengan kategori tinggi dan rata-rata nilai N-gain pada kelas eksperimen II sebesar 0,57 dengan kategori sedang.

Abstract

Hasil belajar yang menjadi tujuan penelitian adalah bagaimana mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa kelas X SMA dengan menggunakan pendekatan STEM. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X IPA satu SMAN 14 Bandarlampung tahun ajaran 2017/2018. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah One-Group-Pretest-Posttest. Data kemampuan berpikir siswa kreatif dikumpulkan menggunakan kemampuan instrumen secara kreatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai Normalized Gain (N-Gain) sekitar 0,57 dengan kategori sedang. Serta nilai tes sifnicance Paires Sample T-test sebesar 0,000 yang berarti pendekatan pembelajaran STEM untuk implementasi mampu meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir siswa kreatif. Dalam penelitian ini indikator pemikiran kreatif yang paling berpengaruh terhadap pelaksanaan pendekatan STEM adalah kemampuan berpikir fleksibel dilihat indikator penilaian siswa pretest dan posttest yang diuji menunjukkan peningkatan hasil secara signifikan.

Abstract

Comic-style Student Worksheets (LKS) are worksheets that contain information and instructions from the teacher to students to work on a particular experiment presented by displaying comics while illustrated student worksheets are student worksheets that provide information and instructions from the teacher to students to work on one specific experiment presented with pictures. The use of LKS in this study is supported by applying the CLIS learning model that is a learning model that seeks to develop students' ideas or ideas based on the results of observations or experiments using LKS. The purpose of this study was to find out whether there were significant differences in science process skills between students taught using comic-style LKS on the CLIS learning model with students taught using illustrated worksheets in the CLIS learning model and to find out whether students' science process skills were taught using comic LKS on the CLIS learning model is higher than the students taught using illustrated worksheets in the CLIS learning model. The sample of this study was students of class VIII A as the experimental class and class VIII B as the control class, with the research design Randomized Control Group Only Design and the research instruments used were text LKS, comic-style LKS, illustrated worksheets and observation sheets of students' science process skills. From the results of data analysis using the t-test, obtained: 1) there are significant differences in science process skills between students taught using comic-style LKS on the CLIS model with students taught using illustrated LKS on CLIS; 2) science process skills students taught using comic-style LKS on the CLIS learning model are higher than students explained using illustrated worksheets in the CLIS learning model.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to develop an Android-based learning application which is named worked example mechanics. This application was made for learning classical mechanics class IX Natural Sciences Program in Indonesia. This application is specifically designed to train and improve students' ability to draw and interprete Free Body Diagram (FBD). This application contains classic mechanic material content, animated learning of classical mechanics, drawing exercises and interpreting FBD  and a self-evaluation system. This application has passed the feasibility test of both the material and the media by Yogyakarta Negeri University physics learning experts. The app is also useful in enhancing the ability to interpret FBD, in trials at Sekolah Menengah Atas 2 Kupang/SMAN 2 Kupang (State Senior High School 2 Kupang), SMAN 3 Kupang, SMA TIMPOLMAS Kupang and State Alyah Madrasah (MAN) 1 Yogyakarta

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' learning outcomes Class IV SDN Pondokcina 5 by using Tames Games Tournament (TGT) model and card media. The method of this research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which is carried out in Pondokcina State Elementary School 5 Depok City which amounts to 29, consist of 13 men and 16 women. The result of Social Science lesson in pre-cycles with Minimum Exhaustiveness Criterion 75 obtained mean 66. Which complete in learning amount to 12 or 41,4% and that can answer only 5 or 17,2%. While those who can not answer there are 24 or 82.8%. In cycle one result of mean 70,3 which complete study 44,8% or 13 students while observation result which can answer 11 people or 37,9% who do not answer as much as 18 or 62,1%. In cycle two the average value of 78.3 which is complete in learning as much as 23 or 79.3%. While the observation results obtained 89.7% who can answer, learning using Tames Games Tournament model with the card media can improve learning outcomes, motivate activeness for learners so that the material presented by the teacher can be understood, and the responsibility of the learner to the task is high enough.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to produce valid and pratical student worksheet on the material structure and function of plant tissue based on inquiry approach of class XI science SMA Negeri 1 Canduang. The types of this research is a development research. The models was developed by using three stages from 4-D models is such as define, design, develop, and disseminate. The disseminate phase is not done because of limited time and expense in the research. Data instrument are used such as validation sheet and practicality. Based on the research that has been made known the student worksheet be valid with percentage 80.27%. Practicality of LKS is obtained from teachers with percentage 75% and students practical with percentage of 85.17%. Thus the quality of the products can be said to be valid by the validity of the test results of that has been done and practical by the practicality of the result of that has been done.
