Abstract

This study aims to explain that there is an integration between Islamic values and the local culture of Kampar in the balimau kasai tradition. The balimau kasai tradition is a tradition of welcoming the holy month of Ramadan by bathing with traditional herbs and gathering on the banks of the river. In this study it was found that, there are 4 (four) categories that can be integrated between Islamic values and the local culture of Kampar, namely: (1) as a form of gratitude to be met with the month of Ramadan, (2) as a form of joy and happiness with the coming of the month of Ramadan, (3) as a means of cleansing and purifying the body and spirit, (4) as a place to establish friendship, and (5) as a moment to forgive each other. Of the four categories found, it is evident that balimau kasai is a local cultural tradition, as well as a form of planting Islamic values.

Abstract

The spiritual condition of today’s society, where they tend to feel tired in facing the crush of problems in globalization era. One effort to overcome the problem is to follow the activities of society, such as Shalawat Nariyah. By following the assembly of shalawat nariyah, people can develop their spirituality, so that they will be easier to deal with every problem. The results of this study indicates that by following the assembly shalawat nariyah, spirituality of Jatilengger villagers increased. This is seen from the development process based on ice block theory. Many parties who play a role in the development ranging from Kyai who play a direct role and motivate the jama'ah, then the existence of the chairman of jama'ah who always try to make his jama'ah always istiqomah, until the existence of donors who are very meritorious in arousing the jamaah. In fact all members of jamaah also have an interrelated role.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the tradition of character building in maritime shipping. The source of the data was the result of ethnographic studies on the sailor community on Binongko Island, Wakatobi Regency. The main instrument in research was researchers, data collection was done through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis. The results of the study indicated that in the maritime shipping of sailors Binongko-Wakatobi is known for four stages of the character building tradition, namely; (1) providing moral knowledge through prospective sailors; (2) moral inspiration through the role of a koki, (3) moral actions played by sawi; and (4) role models played by juragan. The four stages were interrelated cycles that showed the value of the character's urgency both in maritime shipping. In addition, it is known that the typical character of Binongko sailors who are generally tough, patient, hardworking, unyielding, honest, simple, responsible, and friendly to nature, were formed through the tradition of maritime shipping. Character building interactions occur in oceanic spaces, a means of character building is a traditional boat, while the learning media are marine objects such as; waves, wind and coral.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the interrelationship of public relations management in increasing community participation in Islamic elementary school. An ethnographic study was used, with a comprehensive qualitative descriptive analysis. The results of this study; The planning of the work program in the field of public relations at Islamic elementary school has been carried out well, through a mechanism that is carried out at the beginning of each school year led directly by the principal. The principal conducts periodic evaluations of the Public Relations program, and it is carried out effectively and efficiently. Community participation is quite good and enthusiastic, by implementing a strategy of providing examples, maximum service, working sincerely, and establishing friendship.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of religiosity and halal labels both partially and simultaneously on Muslim consumers' purchasing decisions on packaged foods and beverages. Muslim consumers should always consume all the good things that Allah SWT has provided on this earth to maintain our physical and spiritual qualities by consuming something that is lawful. This research method includes causal research with a quantitative approach. Data sources were obtained from primary data and secondary data, while the data in this study were obtained from observations, questionnaires, and documentation. In this study, there are independent variables namely religiosity (X1), halal label (X2) and purchasing decisions as the dependent variable (Y). The population of this study was Muslim consumers of women in the village of Jatingarang, Bodeh district, Pemalang district Center Java. The sampling technique uses a random sampling method to a sample of 95 respondents. The data analysis technique uses multiple linear regression techniques. The results showed (1) Religiosity significantly influence consumer purchase decisions Muslim in food and beverage products in containers with sig 0.001 0.05 or t value 3,568 t table 1.986 (2) The label kosher significantly influences consumer purchase decisions Muslim-on products packaged foods and drinks with sig values. 0.012 0.05 or the value of t count 2.560 t table 1.986 (3) based on the results of the F test, it is known that the two independent variables studied simultaneously influence the purchasing decisions of packaged food and beverage products indicated by F count of 13.106 F table 3.09 with a significance level of 0,000 0,05 (4) the adjusted R square value of 0,222, it shows that 22% of the purchase decision variables can be explained by the two independent variables, while the remaining 77,8% is influenced by other variables besides the two variables used in this research.

Abstract

Gunung Kemukus is one of the religious tourist destinations that have the charm of Pangeran Samudera’s tomb located in Sragen Regency, Central Java. Pangeran Samudera is known as an Islamic disseminator of Majapahit descent who received religious guidance from Sunan Kalijaga. In its history, there has been a deflection of misleading traditions, this place is used as a cult of seeking wealth (pesugihan). It is said that to get a pesugihan, visitors must perform the seven times sexual adultery ritual on Jumat Pon. In fact, the culture of grave pilgrimage has become a tradition for the people of Sragen, Central Java, which has spiritual value for generations. Pilgrims send prayers to Pangeran Samudera and his grave experts as wasilah (bridge) to ask for his intention. The tradition that has taken root and believed by some people is used by individuals who are considered heretics for incidental-pragmatic interests through pesugihan rituals. This will bring a bad image to the noble culture that contains the value of local wisdom. Local culture that contains the values of simplicity, mutual cooperation and having spiritual-communal power has been littered with misleading traditions. If this misleading ritual practice is allowed, it will uproot the roots of the culture of a noble society. Because, cultural entities are noble, containing ethical values that teach human life behavior for a complete life. This research will discuss cultural-based educational efforts that attempt to shift the meaning of the misguided pragmatic rituals to the spiritual meaning of the pilgrimage to the grave in the glorious Pangeran Samudera tomb complex

Abstract

This study is aimed to develop a model of lesson study for the Teaching Practice Program (PPL) to improve students’ ability in implementing instruction for prospective teachers of Islamic Education Study Program(PAI) at the Islamic State Institute (IAIN) Pontianak.The R D and experimental methods were used and carried out at the PAI in Education and Teacher Training Faculty(FTIK) of the IAIN Pontianak. Data were collected using the inventory, observation sheets, FGD and documentation. Validation of the contents was analyzed by expert judgment, while descriptive and comparative data analysis was conducted using t-test for independent samples. All was done with IBM SPSS 20.This research revealed that the model of lesson study implemented at PPL activities improved teaching ability of prospective teachers of PAI at IAIN Pontianak. In particular, it was found that: (1) characteristics of supervisors, teacher tutors and students significantly determined the success of the model of Lesson Study in the implementation of PPL; (2) the process of implementation of the Lesson Study-based PPL model was developed through steps of plan, do and see; (3) the Lesson Study-based PPL model had an influence on the ability of prospective teachers of PAI IAIN Pontianak to implement instruction. The results of this research recommended that PPL should be conducted with a Lesson Study approach.

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to examine and provide new concepts in the development of Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) through religious organizations, especially Islam. BUMDes is one of the economic institutions operating in rural areas that must have differences with economic institutions in general. This is intended so that the existence and performance of BUMDes can contribute significantly to improving the welfare and economic prosperity of the community, the majority of the population of Indonesia are Muslims, so that BUMDes are in accordance with Islamic contracts. The problems that will be discussed in this study are 1. What is the development of Village-Owned Enterprises as Economic Empowerment (sharia) through the current Religious Based Organization (Islam). 2. What is the concept in the development of Village-Owned Business Entities Through Religious (Islamic) Based Organizations. This research method uses a normative juridical system by studying library materials and documents related to the development of BUMDes. This study shows that existing contracts in Islamic economics can be implemented on BUMDes in accordance with laws and regulations. In addition to having strengths and opportunities, this concept also has disadvantages and threats. To realize Islamic economy-based BUMDes this requires an active role and joint commitment from the village government, the community, Fatayat Nahdatul Ulama (NU), Muslimat, and other Islamic organizations that will develop Islamic economics, so that the needs of al-dharuriyah (primary), al-hajiyyah ( secondary), al-thsaniyyah (complementary) in the village.

Abstract

Al-Quran is, the word of Allah SWT revealed to the Prophet Muhammad through the intermediary of the angel Jibril as., reading it is considered worship, written in one Mushaf, starting from the beginning of the Surah Al-Fatihah to the end of the An-Nas Surah which is mut generations . Inside there are various kinds of knowledge, a set of rules and prohibitions, stories and everything that benefits human life. Medical science is the science that discusses ways of maintaining the human body to stay healthy and able to carry out its functions properly, procedures for overcoming diseases and how to prevent the disease from reappearing. The Koran has regulated this through His verses with a set of rules and prohibitions such as the command to eat halal and healthy food, the order to maintain rest periods, the importance of fasting, the prohibition on eating pork, the prohibition of drinking khamr and various other orders and prohibitions. In addition, the Prophet also taught humans to live a healthy and clean life through a series of his daily sunnah and procedures for the treatment of diseases known as Thibbun Nabawi. This method of Nabawi Nabawi includes in the form of concoctions such as; Black Seed, honey, then in the form of therapy; like cupping, in the form of rukyah; namely by using the verses of the Koran as a remedy for the final and inner diseases.
