Abstract

This study aims to explore and get a picture of the perception of educators Maadrasah Ibtidaiyah about the competence it has. Along with the birth of Law Number 20 Year 2003 on National Education System and Law Number 14 Year 2005 on Teachers and Lecturers, the teachers have been recognized as professions. As a profession, teachers must have clear and measurable competencies. Teacher competence is four, namely: pedagogic competence, professional competence, social competence, and personal competence. Efforts to improve competence can be done if the educator has a good perception of the competence he has. Please note how the perception of MI educator to pedagogic, personality, social, professional and religious competence, so that later can be known what actions or programs that can be done in improving their competence.

Abstract

Artikel ini menyajikan penelitian R&D yang bertujuan untuk: (1) Menghasilkan validitas dan kelayakan perangkat pembelajaran sains MI bermuatan karakter islami dengan setting model pembelajaran sains teknologi masyarakat (STM), (2) Menganalisis efektivitas perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan dalam meningkatkan karakter islami dan keterampilan berpikir kreatif dengan setting sains teknologi masyarakat (STM) dan model pembelajaran konvensional. Pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran ini mengacu pada model pengembangan 4-D yaitu Define (Pendefinisian), Design (Perancangan), Develop (Pengembangan) dan Disseminate (Penyebaran). Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif dan persentase keterlaksanaan perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan. Hasil yang telah dicapai pada penelitian ini adalah: (1) Telah berhasil dikembangkan perangkat pembelajaran sains MI dengan setting model pembelajaran sains teknologi masyarakat (STM) di MI yang di dalamnya mencakup pemahaman peserta didik terhadap karakter islami serta mengukur keterampilan berpikir kreatif siswa; (2) Instrumen efektivitas perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan ini masih melalui serangkaian tahapan validasi meski telah disimulasikan oleh peneliti pada pelaksanaan pembelajaran sains MI.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas AGK (Aplikasi Guru Kelas) sebagai sebuah software untuk pengisian rapor peserta didik yang berbasis Kurikulum 2013 pada Madrasah Ibtidaiyah di Kabupaten Bireuen Aceh. Aplikasi ini dirancang agar memudahkan guru kelas dalam melaksanakan tugas dan tanggung jawab berkaitan dengan pengisian nilai peserta didik, tanpa perlu melakukannya secara manual. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode survei melalui pembagian angket kepada guru-guru kelas yang berjumlah 60 orang guru kelas di lima Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri yang ada di Kabupaten Bireuen Aceh. Analisis data penelitian menggunakan uji t 1 sampel (one sample t-test) untuk mengetahui efektivitas AGK. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa softwaere Aplikasi Guru Kelas (AGK) efektif digunakan untuk pengisian rapor berbasis Kurikulum 2013 pada Madrasah Ibtidaiyah di Kabupaten Bireuen. Hasil penelitian ini mengimplikasikan bahwa software ini memudahkan guru dalam mengisi rapor peserta didik di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah maka dengan demikian aplikasi ini sebaiknya digunakan oleh guru-guru di madrasah ibtidaiyah lain yang masih mengisi rapor secara manual.

Abstract

Penerapan pendidikan karakter dengan pemanfaatan kearifan lokal di SD Tabita Puri Genteng Banyuwangi Jawa Timur saat ini telah menginjak tahun keenam. Beberapa hasil sebagai pengaruh dari penerapan pendidikan karakter dengan pemanfaatan kearifan lokal tersebut telah terlihat pada perilaku siswa, termasuk cara berpikir, cara berkomunikasi serta cara berinteraksi satu dengan lainnya. Mayoritas siswa (99%) menunjukkan kemajuan, namun masih ada sedikit (1%) yang menunjukkan sikap yang tidak diharapkan. Berdasarkan pada pengamatan secara terus-menerus selama hampir enam tahun ini, salah satu faktor yang menyisakan pengaruh yang tidak diharapkan adalah penyalahgunaan penggunaan media sosial. Dalam hal ini, yang dimaksud media adalah perangkat elektronik yang terkoneksi dengan layanan jaringan internet, seperti perangkat telepon pintar berupa handphone, laptop, serta gadget. Penyalahgunaan perangkat elektronik yang terkoneksi dengan jaringan internet inilah yang menjadi fokus permasalahan yang didiskusikan dalam tulisan ini. Hasil dari laporan pengamatan ini dimaksudkan untuk menjelaskan lebih lanjut kekuatan serta kelemahan penerapan model pendidikan karakter yang diterapkan di sekolah ini untuk pengambilan keputusan selanjutnya pada penerapan pendidikan karakter di masa mendatang yang lebih ditekankan dalam pemanfaatan kearifan lokal.

Abstract

Many aspects of life need reading activities. Reading to understand the meaning of words called reading comprehension. This study is using descriptive analysis to determine how the implementation of the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) to promote reading comprehension. The aspects in reading comprehension are: a) the ability to grasp the meaning of words and phrases used by the author, b) the ability to grasp the meaning of explicit and implicit meaning, c) the ability to make inferences. Steps in the CIRC are: a) forming a group with four to five students are heterogeneous, b) the teacher gives an explaining in accompliance with the learning topics, c) students work together,  reading and find the main idea and give a response to the discourse and written on a sheet of paper, d) presented the results of the group, e) the teacher makes a conclusion with his students, f) ending the class. Implementation CIRC in reading comprehension are already visible in measures of activities so that learning objectives can be achieved and reading comprehension can also be developed. Implementation CIRC in reading comprehension can be used by further research using distinct methodologies.

Abstract

This research aims to know the influence of learning Education sosial studies elementary school against the formation of character social care students elementary school Islamic University of Kalimantan Muhammad Arsyad Al-Banjari Banjarmasin. This research using quantitative research approach with this type of correlation is Expost Facto. As for the data source or the respondents in this study are students elementary school Islamic University of Kalimantan Muhammad Arsyad Al-Banjari Banjarmasin four semester. As for the data collection Techniques used are observation, documentation, and question form. Before doing research, the instrument of research first tested the validity and reliability. The next test of its homogeneity and normality. After the data collected recently done data analysis. Analysis of the data used is the formula of the percentage and simple linear regression. From the results of the research there are the influence that is experienced by sosial studies education learning toward the formation of social caring character of students is 67%, and 33% there are other factors that influence.

Abstract

This study aims to provide an overview for educators and prospective educators in order to take advantage of research activities in the teaching of natural science, use the environment of school to give experimental habitual for students. This article describe the creative skills and guided inquiry model. the skills to think with the critical question is the problem and formulate appropriate hypotheses; take decisions and action steps such as designing the experiment; collect and assess information in accordance with the observations; and make conclusions. Inquiry model is a process that the teacher has to identify problems and provide much inducement to students in order to locate the problem and find alternative solutions through a scientific process and supported using creative and logical. After its use in the teaching of natural science, expected to educators and prospective educators can have an understanding that the research activities both lab and observation, the creative skills students grow, so they could face global competition in the 21st century.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan penggunaan metode pembelajaran Example Non-Example terhadap keterampilan menulis karangan dalam mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia siswa MI Ma’arif Karanganyar Kabupaten Magelang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian ini meliputi siswa MI Ma’arif Karanganyar Kabupaten Magelang berjumlah 108 siswa. Adapun sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 18 siswa kelas V dengan teknik simple random sampling. Pengumpulan data diperoleh dengan teknik angket, observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, sedangkan untuk menganalisis data dilakukan analisis kuantitatif dengan statistik. Untuk mengetahui hubungan penggunaan metode pembelajaran Example Non-Example terhadap keterampilan menulis karangan dalam mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia siswa MI Ma’arif Karanganyar Kabupaten Magelang menggunakan bantuan program IBM SPSS Statistic 21 for windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan metode pembelajaran Example Non-Example di MI Ma’arif Karanganyar Kabupaten Magelang dalam kategori cukup baik. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari nilai rata-rata 17,7 atau 18 yang termasuk dalam kategori cukup baik. Kemampuan keterampilan menulis masuk dalam kategori baik, hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari nilai rata-rata 23,5 atau 24 yang termasuk dalam kategori baik. Analisis korelasi product moment diperoleh nilai rxy hitung sebesar 0,735. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima, yaitu ada hubungan penggunaan metode pembelajaran Example Non-Example terhadap keterampilan menulis karangan mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia siswa kelas V MI Ma’arif Karanganyar Kabupaten Magelang.

Abstract

Education is capable to develop a country. One of the techniques is by using appropriate teaching material. In addition, the using of teaching material ought to appropriate with particular topic. Teaching material also ought to arranged sistematically in order to create the fun learning atmosphere. Horsley, Knight, dan Huntly, (2010: 45) state a good quality of teaching material has substansial contribution to students quality in learning experience and outcome. Teaching material conveys electronic and non-electronic that contain the information to gain student’s knowledge due to reaching the learning objectives. (Sitepu, 2014:183). Comic is  one of efective teaching material that is used in scholl especially in Elementary school. It is suggested because comic contain pictures and stories with characteristic that able to build students’ character. Consequently, teaching material through comic has significant role in improving student’s ability and education quality in Elementary School

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of monopoly game technique on mathematical reasoning of students of grade V of MI/SD in material build space volume. This research was conducted in MI Salafiyah Syafi'iyyah class V second semester of academic year 2017/2018 material volume of cube and beam building space. Monopoly game technique is a monopoly game that is modified as a tool for learning process with the addition of various questions in the game technique. The method used in this research is quasi experiment with research design of The Nonequivalent Pretest-Posttest Control Group, which involves a sample of 32 students of experimental class and 31 students of control class. Based on the posttest result of mathematical reasoning the students who were taught using monopoly game techniques were higher than the uneducated students using the monopoly game technique. This can be seen from the mean value of posttest of students' mathematical reasoning which is taught by monopoly game technique is equal to 77,72 and mean value of posttest of mathematical reasoning of student which not taught by monopoly game technique is equal to 70,32. From Mann Whitney U test results obtained results of 0.029 at significance level of 0.05 (0,000 ≤ 0,05). Then from the calculation of effect size, it is known that the effect size of this research is d = 0,572, so monopoly game technique has influence in medium category. Thus it can be concluded that the use of monopoly game techniques have an effect on mathematical reasoning of grade V students in MI Salafiyah Syafi'iyyah in the material volume of the cube and beam building space.
