Abstract

Abstrak: Interpretation of the Meaning of the Bugis Naming System: A Semantic Study. This study aims to describe the meaning of the names of the Bugis people. In this study, researchers collected several names and then processed and interpreted the meaning contained in the name. This research is qualitative research, the object of research is the Bugis community. The source of this research data is sourced from informants and the internet, data collection techniques using observation, interview, recording, and documentation techniques. Data analysis techniques use semantic interpretation techniques. The results showed that the Bugis people used to mostly give their children names in addition to being noble titles obtained from parents, as well as names derived from environmental events, forms of prayer, and children. Parents' expectations of their children.

Abstract

Abstrac: Language Errors in Online News. This research was motivated by the findings of language errors found in news writing, especially in online news. Online news is news that utilizes the network as a medium of delivery and is considered the fastest in its presentation. This study aims to describe the misuse of Indonesian in writing online news. There are two benefits of this research, namely theoretical benefits and practical benefits. This type of research is qualitative research using descriptive methods. The object of research analyzed in this study is language errors in online news. Furthermore, the source of data in this study is news published in online media. Data collection techniques in this study are divided into several stages, namely reading and observation, checking, then the last is documentation. The results of this study are (1) the form of spelling errors including errors in the use of capital letters, writing italics. use of prepositions, use of periods, use of commas and use of hyphens. (2) Forms of misuse of diction include waste of the suffix "his" and misuse of conjunctions.

Abstract

Abstract: The Building Structure in a Collection of Pen Trail Poems. This study aims to examine the building structure contained in the collection of poems Traces of the Pen. The purpose of this study is to describe the physical structure and inner structure in the poetry collection Traces of the Pen. This type of research is descriptive using a qualitative approach. The source of this research data is the collection of poems Traces of Pen Traces. The resulting data is in the form of sentences, phrases, and words. Data collection techniques use read and record techniques. The data processing technique used is collection. selection, and organization. The data analysis technique used is content analysis. The research validity checking techniques used are triangulation, intensive guidance, and peer discussion. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded as a whole that in the collection of poems Traces of the Pen has a physical structure and an inner structure. Physical structure includes diction, imagining, concrete words, majas, verification. and typography. Then, the inner structure includes feelings, and commissions. theme, tone, word.

Abstract

Abstract: The Inner Conflict of the Female Lead in Habiburrahman El Shirazy's Novel Zahrana Holy Love. This research was motivated by the researcher's desire to study the novel Holy Love Zahrana by Habiburrahman El Shirazy because it was considered very interesting to be researched because the story presents an inner conflict that makes Zahrana depressed. The inner conflict of the female protagonist in the novel Holy Love Zahrana by Habiburrahman El Shirazy is based on a study of literary psychology. The purpose of this study is to describe the picture of the inner conflict of the female main character which includes approaching conflicts, approaching conflicts away, distant conflicts, and the relevance of inner conflicts to character education in the novel Holy Love Zahrana by Habiburrahman El Shirazy.The resulting data is in the form of words, phrases and sentences contained in the novel. The type of research is qualitative descriptive with a literary psychology approach. The data collection technique used is a reading and recording technique. The data processing techniques used are collection, selection, and organization. The data analysis technique used is a content analysis technique. The technique of checking the validity of research used triangulation is, intensive discussion and guidance. The results of this study show that in the novel Holy Love Zahrana there is an inner conflict consisting of, 1) nearing conflict, 2) approaching conflict away, 3) distant conflict, and 4) the relevance of inner conflict to character education. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that the overall data obtained were 24 data with the most data on inner conflicts approaching as many as 10 data, on approaching away as many as 6 data, the relevance of inner conflicts to character education as many as 5 data, and conflicts away from 3 data.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of the problem-based learning model or the so-called Problem Based Learning learning model on student learning independence at the elementary school level in science subjects. The method used in this study is the SLR (System Literature Review) method. Data collection was carried out by documenting and reviewing all journal articles regarding student learning independence which had similar research in this research report. The articles used in this study were 14 journal articles obtained from Google Scholar with the help of the POP application, also known as publish or perish. Based on research, it is known that the use of problem-based learning models in elementary schools is able to increase student independence in learning, students can be more active and participate in the learning process so that they are able to solve problems. This shows that the problem-based learning model or the so-called problem-based learning model can have a positive effect on the learning process so that it can improve the science learning outcomes of elementary school students. The implications of this research are expected to be able to help educators or teachers to be able to choose the right application of learning models to influence student learning independence.

Abstract

Abstract: Utilization Of Geometry Board Game Media For Cognitive Development Of Children Aged 3-5 Years. Learning while playing is the most preferred learning method by children. The geometry board is an educational game that stimulates various aspects of early childhood development, especially the cognitive aspect. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness and benefits of geometry board games in Gunungsari Village with various different stages of development for each child. The method used is a descriptive qualitative method using data sources from 5 children aged 3-5 years. Data collection using interview and observation techniques. As a result of these geometry board games, children can become more familiar with different geometric shapes, develop problem-solving, creativity, and logical thinking skills, and strengthen their understanding of colors and shapes. In addition, this game also creates a fun learning atmosphere so that it can increase concentration, also involve children in social interaction. In conclusion, this geometry board game can be used in the development of cognitive development aspects of children aged 3-5 years. Keywords: Board Geometry Game, Cognitive Development

Abstract

Abstract: This article discusses the deveopmental phases experienced by elementary school age children. The phases of a child’s development vary depending on the condition of the child’s body, from the physical condition to the child’s mental condition. The aim of this research is to find out and understand the developmental phases of children at elementary school age so that teachers and parents can help children increase their potential during their development period. Based on research conducted through literature study, the results obtained were that elementary school age children were in middle childhood who experienced development in terms of physical motor, cognition, socio-emosional, language and religious morals. The condition of a deveoping child requires suervision from parents and teachers so that the child develops well and wit direction.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine and describe the ability to write fables through audio-visual media of class VII students at SMP Negeri 2 Sabbangparu. Data collection techniques through observation, tests and documentation. The results of the research showed that in cycle I, 8 out of 18 students or around 44.44% had the ability to write fables using audio-visual media in class VII.1 of SMP Negeri 2 Sabbangparu, in terms of the overall ability of students in class VII.1 of SMP Negeri 2 Sabbangparu. has not met the minimum completion criteria (KKM) standards that have been determined, namely 70 and is still below 75%. In cycle II, it showed that 14 out of 18 students or around 77.77% of students were able to write fables using audio visual media in class VII.1 of SMP Negeri 2 Sabbangparu. Overall, it has met the specified Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM) standards, namely 70 and exceeds 75%. This shows a significant increase from cycle I to cycle II.

Abstract

Abstract: The aim of the research is to identify multicultural values to Improve Critical Thinking Skills and Respond to the Challenges of the 21st Century in Character Education Courses. This research was conducted at STKIP Harapan Bima using a qualitative approach with descriptive and literature review. The multicultural values instilled are the values of tolerance, democratic values, mutual respect and respect, and the values of cooperation. Meanwhile, the values that are part of answering the 21st century are open, fair, flexible and honest. The inculcation of multicultural values at STKIP Harapan Bima is a manifestation of values in 21st century life, on the basis of these values the ability to think critically can be improved. The realization of instilling multicultural values is carried out through classroom learning in character education courses to strengthen the multicultural character of students.

Abstract

This study explores the meaning of Musibah in the Qur'an and its Hadiths to provide understanding in learning. It elaborates on the meaning, forms, and urgency of Musibah in the Qur'an and Hadiths concerning Musibah. The type of research used is qualitative using the library research method. This study concludes that not all Musibah connotes negativity as Musibah can also be related to goodness. The forms of Musibah are depicted in the verses of the Qur'an, such as Musibah occurring due to human actions, including sins, as mentioned in QS. Asy-Syura/42:30. There are many other Qur'anic verses that discuss Musibah. Understanding the meaning of Musibah can assist in the process of learning the Qur'an and Hadith.
