Abstract

In recent decades, awareness of the importance of environmental conservation has increased significantly. One sector that has received great attention is the cosmetics industry, which is known to have a significant impact on the environment due to the use of hazardous chemicals and environmentally unfriendly production processes. Therefore, the concept of green marketing is becoming increasingly relevant. Green marketing is a marketing strategy that emphasizes sustainability and environmental awareness, with the use of environmentally friendly materials, recyclable packaging, and promotion of the environmental benefits of the product. The urgency of this research is very high considering the increasing environmental awareness among consumers, especially among the younger generation. This study adopts a qualitative approach with a case study method. The qualitative approach was chosen because it allows researchers to dig into an in-depth understanding of Green Marketing and its influence on brand perception among female students. The case study method is used because it provides an opportunity to collect rich and in-depth data from the perspective of the individual who is the focus of the study. This study involved 15 informants from the female student community, who were selected based on inclusion criteria as active students in various study programs. This study shows that green marketing has a significant influence on cosmetic purchasing decisions by female students. Environmental awareness and preference for environmentally friendly products are important factors in their choices. Informants showed a good understanding of environmentally friendly cosmetic products and tended to choose brands that practice sustainability for ethical reasons, such as environmental protection, animal welfare, and workers' rights. Informative advertising and promotions also played an important role in increasing awareness and trust in these products, supporting the finding that green Effective marketing can change consumer perceptions and behavior.

Abstract

This research explores the relationship between service quality, patient satisfaction, patient perception, and patient trust at Santo Damian Lembata Hospital, East Nusa Tenggara, and their impact on patient behavioral intentions. The study focuses on evaluating how service quality affects patient satisfaction, perception, and trust, and how these variables influence patient behavior. The research was conducted among outpatients at the hospital, using a sample of 115 individuals selected through accidental sampling based on 18 indicators. Service quality is the independent variable, while behavioral intention is the dependent variable. Data collection involved questionnaires, interviews, and secondary sources, and the analysis was performed using descriptive and inferential statistics, including Partial Least Square (PLS). The findings indicate that high service quality at Santo Damian Hospital positively affects patient satisfaction, perceptions, trust, and behavioral intentions. Furthermore, the study confirms that patient satisfaction, perception, and trust serve as mediators between service quality and patient behavioral intentions. This emphasizes the significance of these factors in shaping patient behavior within the hospital setting. The research underscores the crucial role of maintaining high service quality to enhance overall patient experiences and encourage positive behavioral outcomes.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the relationship between the carbon footprint resulting from school activities and the ability of trees to absorb carbon. The existence of trees in the school environment is important and needs to be highlighted to find out how much ability these trees have in absorbing carbon in the school environment. Data collection on the amount of carbon that trees can absorb is carried out quantitatively based on the tree's biomass. Carbon footprint data is collected from four sources, namely electricity use, vehicles, food and plastic use. Carbon footprint data was obtained from interviews and electricity bill receipts. The aim of this research is to provide initial data regarding how much potential the world of education, especially schools, has in contributing to reducing world carbon levels in terms of mitigating climate change, at least at the local level. The value of carbon absorption from trees in the Al Muhtadin Vocational School environment is 85,176 Kg CO2 and the total carbon use is 780,557 Kg CO2. The largest carbon footprint comes from electricity, food, plastic use and vehicles, respectively. The presence of trees at Al Muhtadin Vocational School can help balance carbon entering and exiting the school environment by 11%. School participation in reducing carbon footprints needs to be increased by reducing electricity use, adding plants to the school environment and sharing vehicles.

Abstract

Islamic Corporate Social Responsibility (ICSR) is an idea that combines sharia principles in the action of corporate social obligations. This study aims to describe and examine the impact of Islamic Corporate Social Responsibility (ICSR) on financial performance projected using the Return On Equity (ROE) indicator in Islamic commercial banks. The research strategy used was panel regression analysis with the help of IBM Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) program version 24. The results showed that there was no significant positive influence between ICSR and financial performance at Islamic Commercial Banks in Indonesia. This indicates that the ICSR practices implemented by these banks have not contributed significantly to the achievement of their financial performance. This finding is consistent with sharia principles that emphasize the importance of justice, togetherness, and sustainability in business activities. This study contributes to the understanding of the relationship between ICSR and financial performance in the context of Islamic banking in Indonesia. The practical implication of the findings is that Islamic banks can gain long-term benefits by implementing ICSR practices that are consistent with sharia principles, not only from a moral and social perspective, but also from a financial perspective.
