Abstract

The purpose of this study is to (1) examine the application of the corn farming agribusiness system, (2) examine the production and income generated by corn farming, (3) examine the feasibility of corn farming, and (4) examine the prospects for corn farming development. Tanah Towa Village is located in Kajang District, Bulukumba Regency, South Sulawesi. Simple random sampling was used to select up to 59 respondents. The descriptive statistical analysis, farm income analysis, farming feasibility analysis, and time series analysis were all used to analyze the data. The results indicated that (1) the application of the agribusiness farming system with the production facilities subsystem met the correct criteria in 68% of cases and was incorrect in 32% of cases. (2) the average farm production of corn in Tanah Towa Village, Kajang District, Bulukumba Regency in the form of dry shells is still low at 2,204.4 kg/ha, compared to the subdistrict level of 3,733 kg/ha, with farmer income of Rp. 5,942,319/ha. (3) The feasibility of corn farming has increased (R/C = 3), indicating that it is feasible to develop; (4) The prospect of developing corn production in Kajang District has increased, indicating that it has favorable development prospects.significantly, to the point where it now has favorable development prospects.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of the marketing mix, consumer behavior and brand image on consumer satisfaction through purchasing decisions of bottled water products in west Sulawesi province. A sample of 164 respondents where the sample withdrawal technique used accediantial sampling, a data collection instrument using questionnaires. Data analysis method uses structural equation model (SEM) with confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) AMOS 21.0 program. The results of the study prove that: 1) The marketing mix has a significant positive effect on purchasing decisions. 2) Consumer behavior has a significant positive effect on purchasing decisions. 3) The brand image has no significant positive effect on purchasing decisions. 4) The marketing mix has no significant positive effect on consumer satisfaction. 5) Consumer behavior has a significant positive effect on consumer satisfaction. 6) Brand image has a significant positive effect on consumer satisfaction. 7) Purchasing decisions have a significant positive effect on consumer satisfaction. 8) The marketing mix affects consumer satisfaction through purchasing decisions. 9) Consumer behavior affects consumer satisfaction through purchasing decisions.10) Brand image has no effect on consumer satisfaction through purchasing decisions.

Abstract

This research aims to how the reality of the existence of Islamic banks in transforming spiritual values ​​(Islamic ethics) both micro (organizational) and macro (wider society) so that there is an internalization of value in the economic activities of the community. From this understanding can be spelled out through the formulation of the problem. This study uses an interview technique of 100 samples where we ask managers and staff who work in Islamic banks to answer several questions and questionnaires that we have created. This study also uses a qualitative approach so that the researcher concludes the results of the interviews that have been conducted in compiling research findings. The results of the study indicate that the Islamic values ​​applied to Islamic banks have not been implemented properly. There are still some conventional values ​​applied to the bank.

Abstract

The success of group is determined by the completion of the tasks assigned to each member. However, not all group members can contribute as they should. Passive and less motivated individuals in completing group tasks refer to social loafing. This study aims to determine influence of individual and group factors on employees’ social loafing. This study conducted a quantitative approach with analyzing data from 30 employees. Our findings show that individual factors (task interdependence, task visibility, distributive justice, and procedural fairness) and group factors (group cohesiveness and perceived coworkers social loafing) do not influence social loafing behavior.

Abstract

Work-life balance is one of the strategic issues employees face, especially for nurses who serve as essential workers in the pandemics. Maintaining the balance between family and career would affect a nurse capacity in managing stress during the covid-19 pandemics. On the other hand, work-life balance has an impact on employees' organizational commitment. This research aims to explore work-life balance's role, especially concerning employees' organizational commitment. This study observes nurses in Makassar city, Indonesia. In order to understand the impact of job stress on organizational commitment and to see the role of work-life balance, this study used mediated regression test. The result showed that work-life balance plays an essential role in mediating the relationship between job stress and organizational commitment on nurses. The direct effect of job stress with controlled work-life balance is not significant (p > 0,05). The indirect effect was at -0,2165, which is significant because it does not pass 0 on the bootstrap confidence interval. The significant indirect effect indicates that job stress influences organizational commitment due to declining work-life balance.

Abstract

Career transition from student to worker is an important phase that determines individual success in their work. However, in reality, students do not prepare their careers well so they are less able to adapt to their career choices. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of career adaptability training for final year students. This research method is an experimental model with a within group pre and post test design with a total sample of 18 people. The results of the Wilcoxon test showed p value = 0.003, so it can be concluded that there is a difference in the average career adaptability of final year students before and after being given training. Thus, career adaptability training can be an alternative intervention given to final year students in order to adapt to their career choices.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze (1) to find out and explain the influence of Entrepreneurship Education on the Personality of Management Students, (2) to find out and explain the existence of personal influence on entrepreneurial interest, (3) to determine and explain the influence of Entrepreneurship Education on Entrepreneurial Interests of Management S1 Students, (4) To find out and explain the influence of Personal roles in mediating Entrepreneurship Education on Entrepreneurial Interests of S1 Management Students. This research belongs to the type of research in the category of explanatory research, which is to explain a relationship between variables through hypothesis testing. The research sample amounted to 125 people. The sample in this study using the census method, from the total population will be sampled in this study. The data analysis method is part of the analysis process with methods that are appropriate to the type of research after the research data collection stage. In order to analyze the data the author uses the statistical technique Partial Least Square (PLS). The results of the research from the results of data analysis using the statistical partial least square (PLS) technique which can be seen from the results of data analysis which states that Entrepreneurship Education has a positive and significant influence on Personal, Personal can have a positive and significant influence on Entrepreneurship Interest. positive and significant influence on Entrepreneurial Interest and Entrepreneurship Education indirectly (through the Personality variable) significantly influence the Entrepreneurial Interest of S1 Management Students at ITB Nobel.

Abstract

Objectively this study can be a critical review for the government or the stakeholders in the tourism industry to synergize with each other to realize the concept of Penta helix to be more productive and produce a conceptual model that can be empirically tested further. The research approach is to choose a qualitative explorative method that starts from the interview, discussion, and observation process involving informants representing each element of Penta helix. The study results indicate that Penta helix elements as stakeholders carry out activities and programs that consist of planning, implementation, and evaluation processes based on their respective capacities. Apart from that, the communication relationships between Penta helix elements have not shown an interactive and complicated relationship. The lack of communication is because of differences in perspective and the lack of coordination and collaboration between Penta helix parts. Exclusively the development of the Penta helix model is explained clearly in the discussion.

Abstract

Objectively this study addresses the research formulations, including Does the promotion mix consisting of advertising, personal selling, sales promotion, and public relations have a positive and significant effect on customer decisions at PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero), Jakarta branch? From several promotional mix variables, which variable has the most dominant influence on customer decisions to save at PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero), Jakarta branch. The data collection method uses a questionnaire, which is distributed to 100 respondents who are customers. Measurement of data using a questionnaire. Based on the research results, the conclusions of this study are advertising, personal selling, and sales promotion have a positive and partially significant effect on customer decisions. In contrast, public relations has no significant impact, and the sales promotion variable is the dominant variable.

Abstract

Leadership and work environment has a large part in motivating each member organization toward the company's goals. A leader should implement a leadership style to manage his subordinates because a leader will significantly affect the Organization's success in achieving its goals. No less important will be this is the role of the work environment itself which woke up, the work environment is one of the essential components within the employees finish his work. Here is the working environment: the immediate vicinity of the workers that can affect him in the exercise of duties charged. This research was conducted at PT. Pegadaian Regional VI of Makassar city with 30 research sample of respondents are the employees of PT. Pegadaian Regional VI. This Research is variable work environments (X1.1), the leadership style (X1.2), intrinsic motivation (X ), and the performance of the employees (Y). research using the method of multiple linear regression analysis with data collection using questioners. This research shows that the work environment does not affect employees' performance, leadership style, and intrinsic motivation the employee's account. Leadership styles and the variable is the variable that the dominant influence on the dependent variable.
