Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze and discusses the effect of entrepreneurship education and industrial work practices on students' entrepreneurial readiness This research uses primary data collected from the distribution of Likert scale questionnaires to 155 respondents who are selected using probability sampling out of a total population of 252 students class XII for the period 2025–2026. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with a Partial Least Square (PLS) approach using SmartPLS 4.0 software. We have opted for this method because it allows us to fully analyze the links of causation between the variables, covering both the measurement model (outer model) and the structural model (inner model). The results demonstrate that entrepreneurship education has a positive and significant effect on entrepreneurial readiness while industrial work practices do not have a influence of legitimate significance to commercial sense of readiness. In addition, based on the moderation test results showed that self-efficacy is moderating in the relationship between entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurial readiness, also industrial work practices against entrepreneurial readiness. The main practical implications of this study highlight that self-efficacy is a very important key to converting entrepreneurship knowledge and practical experience into real entrepreneurial readiness in students.

Abstract

The rapid integration of digital learning in higher education has transformed the landscape of language learning, presenting unique challenges for students of English as a Foreign Language (EFL). This study aims to analyze the perceptions of eighth-semester EFL students regarding the learning difficulties they face in a digital environment while taking English-based courses. Using a descriptive qualitative design, this study employed a dichotomous-scale screening questionnaire distributed to 12 respondents, followed by semi-structured interviews with six key informants selected through purposive sampling. The findings of the quantitative analysis indicate that participants experienced difficulties in communicating with their lecturers, with 91.7% experiencing problems with an inconsistent internet connection, and 91.7% reporting a decline in concentration and motivation. From a qualitative perspective, thematic analysis categorised these challenges into five main categories: technological infrastructure failures; boredom with the largely one-way nature of the learning process in the form of online lectures; mental fatigue due to excessive digital workload and anxiety; social isolation resulting from the lack of a tangible academic community; and language barriers arising from limited opportunities to speak and a fear of making mistakes. When evaluated through Krashen’s Affective Filter Theory, Moore’s Transactional Distance, and Vygotsky’s Sociocultural Theory, the findings of this study demonstrate how physical separation and rigid online systems contribute to a significant increase in the affective filter and transactional distance, which in turn hinders the effective development of English language skills. This study provides actionable recommendations for educational institutions and teachers on creating engaging, supportive and flexible digital language learning environments.

Abstract

Inclusive education requires teachers to implement effective communication strategies in the learning process for students with special needs. Inclusive communication strategies are a crucial factor in supporting the teachers' role identity formation as educators in an inclusive educational environment. This study aimed to find the correlation between inclusive communication strategies and the teachers' role identity formation in a State Special School in Gorontalo City. This study employed a quantitative approach with a correlational method. Data collection through questionnaires was conducted with 43 respondents, teachers at the State Special School in Gorontalo City. Data analysis was conducted using the Pearson Product-Moment correlation test and the coefficient of determination test in SPSS. The findings showed a strong and significant relationship between inclusive communication strategies and teachers' role identity formation in a State Special School in Gorontalo City.  It was evidenced by the correlation coefficient of 0.703 in the strong category and a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. The coefficient of determination indicated an R-square of 0.494, meaning that inclusive communication strategies contributed 49.4% to teachers' role identity formation.  Factors outside the study influenced the remaining 50.6%. It means that the better the inclusive communication strategies implemented by teachers, the better the teachers' role identity formation in the context of inclusive education.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the strategies for strengthening students' religious character through habituation, role modeling, and school culture at SDN 1 Aikmual, Praya, Central Lombok. Religious character is one of the fundamental values that should be instilled from the elementary school level as the foundation for developing students' morality, ethics, and behavior in their daily lives. This study employed a qualitative approach using a descriptive research design. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and document analysis involving the school principal, teachers, and students. The data were analyzed using the stages of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the strategies for strengthening students' religious character at SDN 1 Aikmual are implemented through various religious habituation activities integrated into the school's culture. These activities include regular Imtaq (Faith and Piety) programs, the collective recitation of Surah Yasin every Friday, religious lectures, and the memorization of short chapters (surahs) of the Qur'an. In addition, the school organizes an extracurricular Taman Pendidikan Al-Qur'an (TPQ, Qur'anic Learning Center) outside regular Islamic Religious Education classes to enhance students' Qur'anic reading skills and understanding of the Qur'an. During the month of Ramadan, the school implements peer-assisted Qur'anic memorization and recitation activities in which students actively listen to and evaluate one another's memorization and recitation. These activities foster discipline, responsibility, and enthusiasm for learning Islamic teachings. The role-modeling strategy is reflected in teachers' consistent demonstration of religious values in their daily behavior, while the school culture is developed by creating an environment that continuously supports the practice and internalization of religious values. The findings further indicate that the integration of habituation, role modeling, and school culture effectively strengthens students' religious character, as reflected in their improved discipline in performing religious practices, enhanced ability to read and memorize the Qur'an, greater politeness and respect toward others, and stronger awareness of applying religious values in their daily lives. Therefore, these integrated strategies represent an effective model for strengthening religious character in elementary school settings.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of shadow and ball passing training methods on the accuracy of forehand drive stroke in table tennis athletes of PTM Pade Angen Mataram. The accuracy of the forehand drive is one of the most important basic techniques in the game of table tennis because it plays a role in creating effective attacks and earning points. However, there are still athletes who have difficulty in performing forehand drive shots accurately and consistently. Therefore, effective training methods are needed to improve these abilities. The method used in this study is an experimental method with a pre-test and post-test design. The sample consisted of 10 athletes. The data collection technique uses a forehand drive stroke skill test in table tennis. Based on the analysis using descriptive statistical techniques, the calculated t(H0) value is 10.628, while the t-table value at the significance level of 5% with the degree of freedom (df) = n - 1 = 9 is 2.262. Due to the t-table (10.628 > 2.262), the null hypothesis (H₀) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (H₁) is accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of the shadow and ball feed training methods on the accuracy of forehand drive shots. In other words, shadow and ball pass exercises can improve forehand drive hitting skills in table tennis.
