Abstract

Low student learning outcomes were a problem in this classroom action research. This was evident in the students' lack of understanding of the material, their rapid boredom, and their lack of active participation in learning activities due to the lack of diverse learning methods. The purpose of this research was to improve student learning outcomes through learning models. Team Assisted Individualization on dynamic electricity material. This type of research is classroom action research conducted over two cycles on 12 second-semester students of the D3 Electrical Engineering study program at Muhammadiyah University of Tegal. Observations and written tests are the data obtained in this study. Data analysis is calculated based on a percentage scale and a predetermined table of conceptual understanding interpretations. The results of this study prove that the use of the model Team Assisted Individualization can improve student learning outcomes since cycle I with a percentage of 67% in the good category, then in cycle II it became 92% in the very good category. So, it can be concluded that with the learning model Team Assisted Individualization, Student learning outcomes on the Dynamic Electricity material can be increased.

Abstract

Character education is the main foundation in building a generation of integrity in Indonesia. Through character education, students are not only given an understanding of moral values such as piety, faith, honesty, caring, and ethics, but also guided to embody them in daily behavior in accordance with the values of Pancasila. The subject of Civic Education (PKn) is a strategic vehicle in transforming character values to students, with the aim of forming democratic citizens with strong character. The implementation of character education through the subject of PKn in elementary schools has been carried out with careful planning by teachers, including the selection of character values to be developed and the integration of values in the introductory, core, and closing activities of learning. Assessment of the implementation of character education is carried out through three domains, namely cognitive, affective, and psychomotor, to ensure the success of character internalization in students. Amid the challenges of the era of globalization that erode morality, this study aims to analyze the implementation of civic education in shaping honest and responsible character in elementary school students. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research results revealed that the success of the implementation of civic education is determined by the integration of three main aspects: planning, implementation, and evaluation, which involve the principal, civics teachers, and students in ongoing synergy.

Abstract

Character education plays a significant role in shaping children’s moral and emotional development. As digital media continues to influence young audiences, animated films have become an effective platform for teaching essential values through storytelling and character representation. This study explores Encanto (2021), a Disney animated film that presents a multigenerational family navigating emotional expectations, communication struggles, and self-discovery. The purpose of this study is to analyze how Encanto can be used as a medium to support character education, particularly by examining family communication and its impact on individual growth and resilience. This qualitative research applies the theory of Mise en Scène by Manon de Reeper to analyze visual elements and Family Systems Theory by Murray Bowen to examine the emotional dynamics and communication patterns within the Madrigal family. Selected scenes from the film are analyzed to identify core values such as empathy, responsibility, emotional honesty, and mutual respect. The findings show that Encanto offers strong educational potential for promoting character values and healthy communication practices, making it a relevant resource for educators, parents, and practitioners in early childhood education.

This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analysed using an interactive model. The results showed that the application of Fun Learning through prayer and singing simulation activities, group discussions, and educational games such as Quizizz succeeded in increasing students' motivation, participation, and confidence. Students became more enthusiastic, active, and had a deeper understanding of the value of faith. In conclusion, the Fun Learning strategy is effective in creating a fun learning atmosphere, increasing intrinsic motivation, and integrating faith values with meaningful learning experiences.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of differentiated instruction in multi-level English language classrooms among undergraduate Management students at Mandalika University of Education. Employing a descriptive quantitative approach, the study involved 35 student participants during the 2025/2026 odd semester. Data were collected through questionnaires, classroom observations, and focus group interviews, then analyzed using descriptive and thematic techniques. Findings reveal that differentiated instruction-adapting materials, teaching processes, student products, and the learning environment-effectively enhances student participation, motivation, and achievement across all proficiency levels. Notably, significant improvement was recorded among students at the basic proficiency level, and the classroom climate became more inclusive and supportive. These results reinforce the role of differentiated instruction as a key strategy for teaching English in heterogeneous higher education settings, though institutional backing and ongoing professional development for instructors remain essential.

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to analyze the steps taken by teachers in implementing clay media to enhance the creativity of children aged 5–6 years during the teaching and learning process at PAUD Bintang Nahdlatu Wathan in the 2024/2025 academic year. The research was conducted at PAUD Bintang Nahdlatu Wathan, Group B, with a total of 18 students. This study is a descriptive qualitative research using a case study approach. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation. Information was gathered from the homeroom teacher, the principal, and the students. The data analysis techniques used in this study are: (1) data condensation, (2) data display, and (3) conclusion drawing. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of clay media was carried out through four main stages: (1) preparation, (2) opening activities, (3) core activities, and (4) closing activities, supported by methods such as play, demonstration, experimentation, question and answer, and storytelling. The teacher acted as a facilitator, guiding the children through the learning process. The use of clay media proved effective in developing children's creativity. Through direct engagement with concrete media, children were able to explore, imagine, and dare to try without fear of making mistakes. In addition to fostering creativity, the media also supported the development of fine motor skills, cognitive abilities, emotional growth, and social skills. These findings indicate that clay-based learning not only stimulates creativity but also provides holistic benefits for early childhood development.
