Abstract

This study aims to equip students to instill several anti-corruption values that focus on discipline, responsibility, and honesty. The method used in this research is a qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The primary data of this research are from observations and interviews with various parties, such as: PPKn teachers, guidance and counselling teachers and vice principals. The secondary data of this research are from articles as a supporting reference for data. The results of this study reveal that strengthening the anti-corruption values of students is part of the school's commitment. The form of reinforcement is given in the form of rewards and punishments which are carried out in collaboration with PPKn teachers and BK teachers. This is proven to be able to shape the attitude of students in the aspects of discipline, responsibility, and honesty.

Abstract

The involvement of the community is needed in every development in the thematic villages. This study wants to show community participation in Kampung Markisa. The researcher uses descriptive qualitative method by using purposive sampling technique according to the criteria that have been made. Then for data analysis, researchers used data collection models, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. Meanwhile, the validity of the research data used source triangulation and technical triangulation. The results of this study shows that the participation of the people of Kampung Markisa are quite good that reflects from decision making, implementation, and evaluation. However, taking advantage of the benefits has not been maximized from the economic aspect, although from the environmental aspect there have been positive impacts. Regarding the responsibility in participating, the people of Kampung Markisa are disciplined in obeying regulations related to development, namely environmental change. Besides that the community is committed to the success of all development and maintaining the results of development in the future.

Abstract

This research aims to describe what are the challenges of how the internalization the values of love for motherland in the lower grades in elementary school. The background of this study is the phenomenon of decadence of the love for motherland character in Class III.A SDN 2 Kebun Lama, Langsa, Aceh. This research presents a portrait of school policies and how teachers cultivate the love for motherland character in children's attitudes. This research is using a qualitative descriptive approach. Informants were determined by purposive sampling techniques, namely the principal, class teacher, school guard, and students. Data were collected through observation supplemented by interviews and documentation studies. Then the data is tested using triangulation techniques, that is, the data is tested on the same source but with different techniques. The same and different data were found, so the data were tested on different sources. The data were analyzed by Miles and Huberman namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The findings of this research are the love for motherland characters in Class III.A SDN Kebun Lama, Langsa has been implemented. However, the results have not been seen optimally as can be seen in student activities at school. Then the implementation of the love for motherland character is also hampered due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to find out whether the application of the Value Clarification Technique (VCT) model was effective and could increase the moral value of honesty. The research design is a classroom action research (CAR) with three cycles. The research subjects were students and teacher in class VIII G students of SMP N 9 in Jambi City. The object of research is the level of student honesty that measured by some questions. The results showed that there are increasing percentage of the average value in each cycle of process. It can be concluded that the use of the VCT model with the help of interactive videos and student worksheets on honesty can increase the value of honesty. Though this increase does not occur evenly in all students and there is some obstacles such as the internet connection when using the video interactive in classroom.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the dynamics of local food safety policy strategies in Agam District in preventing stunting in Nagari Kamang Hilia. Nagari Kamang Hilia has extensive land for agricultural and plantation growth and has the potential to become alternative land for the development of local crops to support local food security policies, especially in preventing stunting. This study uses a qualitative method. Data was collected through interviews and documentation. The research informants were determined by purposive sampling. The research results prove that the implementation of the local security policy strategy is not implemented in accordance with the policy objectives. This is caused by factors namely the food crops that are conserved are not in accordance with local commodities in Nagari, studies on local food are not carried out in depth; budget constraints; lack of program oversight from the Regency Government or Nagari Government for areas experiencing land problems, lack of professional experts in the field of local food safety and lack of transparency on stunting data from the cadre posyandu to Nagari Kamang Hilia.

Abstract

This article aims to find out what the efforts and obstacles to strengthening civic virtue in Youth Red Cross (YRC) extracurricular activities at MAN 1 Indragiri Hilir. This article was conducted through a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data was obtained by observation, interview, and documentation methods. The results showed that efforts to strengthen civic virtue in YRC MAN 1 Indragiri Hilir extracurricular activities were carried out in several ways, namely: First, through the activity of delivering material directly by the YRC coach. Second, through a joint exercise between YRC MAN 1 Indragiri Hilir with the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) Indragiri Hilir Regency. Efforts to strengthen civic virtue in YRC extracurricular MAN 1 Indragiri Hilir still have several obstacles, namely: First, YRC members have difficulty understanding the content because they are not accompanied by direct practice. Second, YRC members cannot participate in regular training either delivered directly by the supervisor or joint activities with PMI Indragiri Hilir regency because the training schedule always coincides with other extracurricular agendas. The limitation of this research is that it has not explored what steps must be taken in order to overcome these obstacles.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of parent-child communication intensity on the social attitudes of eighth-grade students of SMP Negeri 10 Jambi City. The method used in this research is a quantitative approach using a survey. The data were analyzed using simple linear regression. Sources of data obtained from respondents are 66 students taken by random sampling technique. The occupations of parents of Grade VIII students at SMP Negeri 10 Jambi City are: entrepreneur, laborer, security guard, pedicab driver, civil servant, pedicab driver, and housewife. The conclusion of this research is: the intensity of parent-child communication has a significant effect on students' social attitudes in the form of honesty, discipline, courtesy, and tolerance. Low social attitudes can be overcome by establishing intensive communication between parents and children so that children can have an attitude that is in accordance with the norms and rules that apply in the family, school, and community environment.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of the Kampar Election Smart House (ESH) in increasing the political literacy of high school level students. This study used qualitative research methods . As for the data and data sources used in this study using primary data and secondary data. Primary data from this study came from the results of in-depth interviews with staffs at ESH Kampar and observations of the activities. This research was carried out because of the low level of political literacy of students. There are still many students who are apathetic, this is due to the low level of political literacy. The results of this research is Kampar's ESH played a role in increasing the political literacy of students at the high school level. Kampar’S ESH provides education about democratic, electoral values, and other political values ​​such as providing education about the state and power, Activities of political institutions of authority and their role trains expressing opinions, government regulations and public services, and involves students in activities politics. The limitations of this research is Kampar’s ESH is doing political literacy in one state high school. Though there are 51 high school in this regency.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the community's view of the Lapeh Kapadi tradition in Nagari Simpang, Pasaman Regency. This tradition is an expression of the gratitude from community to Allah Swt for good crops. In the implementation stage there is an assumption that this tradition contains polytheism that is seen from the goat slaughtering event. So it is necessary to see the process of implementing tradition in full and the values contained therein. This type of research is qualitative using descriptive methods. Determination of informants is carried out with purposive sampling. The type of data consists of primary and secondary data, collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data validity test is carried out with observation perseverance and triangulation. Data analysis techniques through data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. The results showed that the implementation of the Lapeh Kapadi tradition had several stages and there were values in each of these stages. The values are: religious, gotong royong, friendship and togetherness. These values are prioritized by the people of Nagari Simpang. The limitation of this research is to only look at the process that occurred in 2022 and not in the long period of time. So that there is no comparison of this tradition can survive or not in accordance within the times.

Abstract

In today's digital age, the use of innovative learning media is on the rise, and one such media that has proven to be effective is Google site. This platform offers a plethora of interactive features such as videos and quizzes that can be customized to meet specific learning objectives. This study focuses on the use of Google site as a teaching aid for Pancasila Education in class VII at SMP 4 Serang, Banten, where students have expressed a lack of interest in the subject. Employing a Research and Development (R&D) methodology, this study aims to develop an effective teaching tool that fosters creativity in students. Results indicate a significant improvement in students' creativity levels, as evidenced by pretest and posttest scores. Furthermore, the response from 36 students who used Google site in class VII SMPN 4 Kota Serang was overwhelmingly positive, scoring 120.7, with a percentage of 80.5%, indicating a "High" rating.
