Abstract

Basically every child has talent creative without exception, although every child has talent different. Talent creative owned child needs to be improved and fertilized early. Animated film is one of the media learning that can be used to creative children, the stories that contains elements fantasy able to increase and influence imagination students. The aims of this research is knowing of creativity children aged 5-6 years in Kindergarten Islam Tirtayasa Cipocok Jaya, Serang-Banten. The subject of this research werw 11 children ager 5-6 years which concist of 6 girls and 5 boys. The method used in this research is a action research. The cycle consists of planning, action, observation and reflection. This research is a collaboration between researchers with classroom teachers. Data collection teknik enhancing creativity collected through observation guide, field notes, interview guides and documentation. Results of this research were obtained after the authors conducted an observations in two cycles to achieve achievement level standards of child development. The average level of achievement of creativityin children ager 5-6 years in kindergarten Islam Tirtayasa Cipocok Jaya, Serang-Banten, who earlier in pre research at only 33%, in the first cycle with the implementation of as many as 8 eeting reaches 48% and the second cycles by as much as 3 meeting execution reached 84%. Base on the results of the data that has been obtained, it can be concluded that by using the media the animated film in the learning activities, the creativity of children aged 5-6 years increased very well in second semester, academic years 2015-2016 in kindergarten Islam Tirtayasa Cipocok Jaya, Serang-Banten.

Abstract

The aims of the research was to knowing parenting pattern of single parent 4-5 years age in the village of Tirem Lebak Wangi District Serang Banten regency, to know the process of parenting single parent with the ability to speak 4-5 years age children in the Village District Tirem Lebak Wangi Serang Banten. The research site is Desa Tirem. The research location was Tirem Village, Lebak Wangi Subdistrict, Serang Banten Regency. The research time was on May 1, 2018-May 30, 2018. The research method is qualitative method with phenomenology approach. The results of the research findings are a form of parenting of single parents 4-5 years age in Tirem Village, Lebak Wangi Subdistrict, Serang Banten District, authoritarian parenting and permissive parenting, The process of parenting single parent with the ability to speak 4-5 years age children in the Village District Tirem Lebak Wangi Serang Banten seen from through habituation bathing children in the bathroom, mother asked the colors that are around the child to the child and there are who can answer correctly and some who do not, mother feeding children, the mother asks the child about the feeling and there are children who can answer correctly and those who do not, mother asks about the forms around the child and no child can answer, the mother asks the sex and age to the child and there are children who can answer correctly and those who do not, the mother asks the child to repeat the story and no child can recount the story, and stimulation given by single parents to different children. The conclusion of the research results is that there is a relationship between parenting parents with the ability to speak children aged 4-5 years in Tirem Village, Lebak Wangi District, Serang Banten Regency. Specifically, it can be concluded (1) Parenting pattern applied by single parent of 4-5 years age child in Tirem Village Lebak Wangi Sub-district of Serang Banten Regency that is authoritarian parenting and permissive parenting pattern. (2) The ability to speak 4-5 years age children in the village of Tirem Lebak Wangi District Serang Banten regency is lower than the stage of development of children’s speech, especially the language aspect.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) know the application of painting activities with sand can improve the fine motor skills aged 4-5 years in TK Kemala Bhayangkari 01 serang, (2) and know the activity of painting with sand can improve the fine motor skills of children aged 4-5 years in kindergarten Kemala Bhayangkari 01 Serang. The research type is action research using model of Kemmis and Mc Taggart. Research subjects were 17 children aged 4-5 years in TK Kemala Bhayangkari 01 Serang Banten. The object research is the fine motor skill of children. Methods of data collection is done through observation, interview and documentation. Data analysis technique is done qualitatively. The success indicator in this researxh is 60%. The results showed that the fine motor skills of child increased to 93% of the prestudy by 29% the result up in the first cycle of 56% and un the second cycle of the 93% of the results it can be concluded that the activity of painting with sand can improve fine motor skills ofchildren aged 4-5 years in TK Kemala Bhayangkari 01 Serang Banten.

Abstract

This study aims to 1) to know the process of applying natural resource exploration activities in improving science skills of group B children in TK Az-zahroh Serang-Banten, and 2) to improve children’s science skills through natural resource exploration activities in group B in TK Az-zahroh Serang-Banten. The research type is action research using model of kemmis and MCTaggart. The research subject is 15 children aged 5-6 years in kindergarten Az-zahroh Serang-Banten. The object of research is children’s science skills. Data collection method is done through observation, interview and documentation. Data analysis technique is done qualitatively and quantitatively. The success indicator in this research is 60%. The results showed that children’s science skills increased to 80% from pre-research results of 39% up in cycle I of 51% of the results can be concluded that the exploration activities of natural materials can improve the science skills of children aged 5-6 years in kindergarten Az-zahroh Serang-Banten.

Abstract

This research is a study to uncover whether the use of computer for early childhood education is in the line with curriculum at the schools. A broader use of computer for early childhood education can be seen in some kindergartens especially those which are located in big cities. However there was no research on whether the education programs are suitable or not for early childhood ages. Therefore this research was conducted. Some teachers who are teaching computer or using computer for developing children’s development aspects were given questionnaires about the goal of using computer in their school, the interaction between the programs of the computer with the curriculum they used in their schools, availability of the programs in their schools and the way they taught their children with the computer. Then, two teachers were interviewed to deepen understanding about what they were doing with the computer in their class. The researchers also observed their class to see what was going on in their class. The entry data were tabulated and interpreted. The result showed that according to the teachers some programs of the computer are suitable and can be used for early childhood education while some of them are not. Therefore a careful selection is needed to determine which programs can be used. This condition existed because the programs are very limited in market and the teachers have to download them from internet. The researchers recommend that some teachers’ organizations like IGTKI and Himpaudi involve in organize the use of computer programs so the teachers help each other in providing good programs for their children at schools.

Abstract

The ability to speak can be interpreted as articulation sounds or say words to express, express, convey the thoughts, ideas and feelings of listeners receive information through a series of tones, pressures and word placement. The purpose of this research is to know the process of applying the macro role playing method and the improvement of speech ability of the children in group B through the macro role playing method in Darul Irfan Pakupatan, Serang-Banten kindergarten. The benefits of this research can optimize the development of speaking skills of children aged 5-6 years, facilitate teachers in teaching the ability to speak in a way that is fun and interesting for children and increase knowledge insight in improving children’s speaking ability. The method used in this research is the method of action research (PT), in this study consists of two cycles. In the first cycle of 8 actions and cycle II as much as 4 times the action, with the success of the action reached 60%. The subjects of this study were children aged 5-6 years with a total of 12 children consisting of 7 girls and 5 boys. Based on the result of the research, it can be concluded that the ability to speak of children aged 5-6 years through role-playing method with the results of this study is known that the pre-action condition is 26%, then in cycle I increases to 40%, while in cycle II, significantly reaching 84% and experiencing success on already targeted indicators. Based on the results of data that have been obtained can be concluded that with the application of the method of playing the role of macro can improve the speaking ability of children aged 5-6 years in kindergarten Darul Irfan Pakupatan, Serang-Banten.

Abstract

The implementation of lesson study activity intended to enhance the learning quality within the university. The lesson study conducted in four cycles on Play and Learning module at Department of Early Childhood and Teacher Education (PG-PAUD), Faculty of Education, Ganesha Educational University. The findings in term of the lesson study activity showed: (1) the increasing professionalism of the lecturers’ performance in the field of teaching where they become more aware in arranging the lesson plan, more prepared in mastering the learning process, more alert into the evaluation, and increase the collaboration among lectures; (2) the increasing of meaningful learning quality; and (3) developing students’ character.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the ability of early reading through the big book media in the group B children in kindergarten PGRI Panggarangan. This study motivated by the low ability of children in early reading. This research is an action research using Kurt Lewin’s research model which is done in two cycles. in cycle 1 as much as 6 times action and cycle 2 as much as 5 times action, with success criteria 75%. Each cycle at each meeting consists of four stages: planning, action, observation and reflection. Research subjects are 15 children of group B. The research object is the ability of early reading. Data collection techniques in this study are observation, field notes, interview notes and documentation. The research instrument used in the form of observation sheet instrument in the form of check list. Indicators studied is the indicator ability to mention the symbol of the sound of letters, the indicator mentions the same phonemes, and the indicator read the word. Data analysis consists of data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The results showed that the big book media can improve the ability of early reading. At the pre-action stage the percentage of average achievement of the child just reaches 27,22%. At the implementation of Cycle I percentage is achieved at 50,98%, and the achievement of the early reading ability in cycle II by 75,84%. The increase from pre-action to Cycle I was 23,76% and the increase from Cycle I to Cycle II was 24,86%. Based on the data that has been obtained, it can be concluded that by using the big book media can improve the early reading ability of group B children in kindergarten PGRI Panggarangan.

Abstract

The capacity for empathy is the ability to know the feelings of others. Empathy is built on self-awareness, the child opens the emotions themselves more skilled also children can ‘understanding other people’s feelings. The ability to empathize 5-6 years old children in early childhood Islamic Bina Bangsa School, Serang - Banten still low, this can be seen from the attitude of everyday habits of school children who have not been able to demonstrate an understanding of the feelings of their peers. This occurs because the learning method has not been able to give an understanding to the children about how to act and interact with friends. Hence the need for the implementation of cooperative learning that can stimulate cooperation and raise children against child interaction that produces a good ability to empathize. The method used in this study is action research methods, measures designed in a repeating cycle, in this study consisted of two cycles. In the first cycle of 8 times the action and the second cycle 2 times the action, with a 70% success criteria. Subjects in this study were 11 children aged 5-6 years consisting of 3 boys and 8 girls in early childhood Bina Bangsa School Islamic School, Serang - Banten. In each cycle consists of three stages: planning, action and observation carried out simultaneously, observation, and the last reflection. The technique of collecting data through observation, field notes, interview notes and documentation. Analysis of data using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. Stages in the research process is the first to design and implement cooperative learning RPPH in learning. Based on the results obtained that the ability to empathize with children aged 5-6 years through cooperative learning with the results of this research note that the 28,29% initial conditions later in the first cycle increased to 50,43%, in the second cycle has increased significantly to 96,42% and having success on the indicators that have been targeted. Based on the results of data that has been obtained, it can be concluded that with the implementation of cooperative learning can improve the ability to empathize 5-6 years old children in early childhood Islamic Bina Bangsa School, Serang - Banten.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) understand the process of implementing storytelling in improving emotional intelligence of children in group A PAUD VIVEVI Ceria Serang, Banten, and (2) To know the improving of emotional intelligence of children in group A PAUD VIVEVI Ceria Serang, Banten after using storytelling. This type of this research is Classroom Action Research by using Kemmis and Mc Taggart research model. Subjects were 12 children in group A PAUD VIVEVI Ceria Serang, Banten. The research object is emotional intelligence. Methods of data collection conducted through observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis technique conducted in qualitatively and quantitatively. Indicators of success in this research was 65%. Based on the research results (1) stages of the storytelling process such as: storytelling preparation, implementation and evaluation storytelling. Besides storytelling method were interesting and fun activity, storytelling is also one methods to develop the thought power and imagination of children, be able to develop child development aspect, be able to build a character or characters, giving entertainment for children as a learning method used to provide information (2) improving emotional intelligence through storytelling can be seen as: a child is able to express their feelings, express emotions of anger, sadness, envy, the child is able to entertain themselves, children are able to control themselves from heart desires or refraining from satisfaction, the child is able to confidently, children have a sense of responsibility, the child is able to be sensitive for other people feelings and children easy to sosialized with others. The results showed that emotional intelligence of children increased to 71.59% from the pre-research of 39.37% increased first cycle amounted 54.24% from these results we can conclude that storytelling can improve emotional intelligence in children in group A PAUD VIVEVI Ceria Serang-Banten.
