Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the implementation of the Productive Economic Enterprises (UEP) and Joint Business Groups (KUBE) programs in improving the social welfare of people with welfare problems in West Sumbawa Regency and to analyze the level of effectiveness of the Joint Business Groups program in improving the social welfare of people with welfare problems in West Sumbawa Regency.  This research uses mixed methods (combined methods) qualitative methods to determine the implementation of the Productive Economic Enterprises and Joint Business Groups programs in improving the social welfare of people with welfare problems in West Sumbawa Regency and quantitative methods to analyze the effectiveness of the Productive Economic Enterprises Joint Business Groups program in improving community welfare in West Sumbawa Regency. The results of the research show that the implementation of the Productive Economic Enterprises and Joint Business Groups programs in improving the social welfare of people with welfare problems in West Sumbawa Regency can be concluded, among others, UEP and KUBE are government programs in the form of business assistance to the people of West Sumbawa which have been implemented well by the West Sumbawa Regency Social Service. The UEP and KUBE programs in the West Sumbawa community are implemented procedurally in accordance with existing regulations, both from the process of submitting applications for assistance, assistance and assessment of beneficiaries. With N = 17, from the t table above, the t table value is 0.689, the significance value of the table is 0.007 so that the significance value is 0.007 < 0.689 or the value of t count < t table so that it can be concluded that the Productive Economic Enterprises (UEP) and Joint Business Groups (KUBE) social assistance program is effective in improving community welfare in West Sumbawa Regency.

Abstract

Pandanan Hamlet is a favorite tourist destination in Lombok, admired by tourists for its beautiful beaches. Diarrhea represents a common and potentially serious global health issue, especially in areas with limited access to healthcare. This condition, characterized by increased frequency and fluidity of stool, can be caused by various factors ranging from bacterial or viral infections to chronic medical conditions. This research focuses on Pandanan Village, examining the impact of waste management on the incidence of diarrhea. Waste management is a crucial environmental issue worldwide. Improperly managed waste, encompassing various materials from household to industrial waste, can become a source of disease spread. The study indicates a correlation between good waste management and a decrease in diarrhea incidents. Results show a significant relationship (P<0.05) between poor waste management and increased diarrhea incidence, with poor waste management being linked to 22 cases of diarrhea. These findings underscore the importance of proper waste management as a preventive measure against diarrhea, particularly in the context of sanitation and environmental cleanliness. This research provides crucial insights into the relationship between environmental factors and public health, highlighting the need for interventions focused on improving sanitation infrastructure and health education in Pandanan Village.

Abstract

Fat is one of the important components in food that provides texture and taste. Flour is a food ingredient made from grinding tubers, grains, and stems (sago). This research aimed to determine the difference in fat content in bulk wheat flour (without label), wheat flour (high protein, labeled), and cornstarch. The fat content of a food can be determined by extracting the fat. The fat content analysis method in this research used the Soxhlet method, which can extract fat with the nonpolar organic solvent n-hexane using a soxhlet extractor. The highest fat content was obtained in the wheat flour sample (high protein, labeled) at 2.29%, followed by bulk wheat flour at 1.32%, and cornstarch at 0.65%. The differences of fat content in flour can be caused by the variations of fat content in the raw materials that used in produced flour

Abstract

This research aims to find out the role of the Directorate of Criminal and Criminal Investigation of the NTB Regional Police in handling cases of criminal defamation through social media (PN DECISION Study Number: 568/Pid.Sus/2022/PN Mtr), and to find out what the judge's legal considerations are in the PN decision. Number 568/Pid.Sus/2022/PN Mtr dated 7 October 2022 concerning the crime of defamation via Facebook committed by the defendant SAHBAN. This research is a type of descriptive normative legal researchIn carrying out the duties, functions and roles of the West Nusa Tenggara Regional Police Criminal Investigation Unit in handling criminal acts of defamation through social media, namely carrying out the functions and roles of carrying out investigations and investigations of special crimes in the Legal Area of the West Nusa Tenggara Regional Police. The judge's decision must provide a deterrent effect on the perpetrators of criminal acts and can make the accused become a more responsible person and be able to return to being a better member of society. The judge's decision must also be able to prevent people from committing similar criminal acts.

Abstract

Sumbawa Island is one of the largest islands in West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Province with an area of 15,414.5 km². Climatic conditions greatly influence the economy of the people of Sumbawa Island because most of the population earns their living as farmers, planters and livestock breeders. Extreme climate changes often occur. This results in natural disasters such as floods, landslides and drought. Sumbawa Island itself often experiences floods in the rainy season and droughts in the dry season. Knowledge of climate characteristics will really help the people there, in overcoming and avoiding the impacts of extreme climate change now and in the future. This research functions to provide information regarding the climate characteristics of Sumbawa Island.The method used to analyze the climate characteristics of Sumbawa Island is the Thornthwaite and Schmidth-Fergusson climate classification methods. The data used is secondary data for 14 years (2005-2018). This data was obtained from the NT I River Basin Center and generation data using the Thomas-Fiering model for the next 10 years (2019-2028).The results of the analysis showed that according to Thornthwaite, Sumbawa Island in the 2005-2018 and 2019-2028 periods had the same climate type, namely a dry climate (E) based on an average PE index value < 16 and a tropical climate (A) based on an average TE index value. ≥ 128. According to Schmidth-Fergusson in the 2005-2018 and 2019-2028 periods, Sumbawa Island has the same 3 types of climate, namely a moderate climate (D) with a value of 0.6 ≤ Q < 1, a slightly dry climate (E) with a value of 1 ≤ Q < 1.67 and dry climate (F) with a value of 1.67 ≤ Q < 3.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to determine whether the use of information technology, accounting information systems, innovation and financial reports have a significant effect both individually and simultaneously on increasing MSME sales in South Kediri Village, Kediri District, West Lombok. The population, namely all MSMEs still active at the end of the 2023 period, is 287 MSMEs and the sample is 74 respondentsThe research results show that the calculated F value is 40.153 with a probability of 0.000, a probability value much smaller than 0.05. It was concluded that the four independent variables each had an effect, either partially or simultaneously, on increasing MSME business results. The regression equation Constant Value (α) of 0.262 is stated that if the independent variables are considered constant, then the average increase in sales is 0.262 units assuming the four variables are in a constant or fixed state. Utilization of Information Technology, amounting to 0.053, a positive value, which means there is a direct relationship with increasing sales of MSMEs. Likewise, the regression coefficients for SIA, IP, and Financial Reports are respectively 0.642, 0.118, and 0.238. The positive coefficient values mean that there is a unidirectional relationship with increasing sales. Furthermore, the correlation relationship between variables is very strong as indicated by the R value of 83.8%, while the adjusted R2 value is 0.685 (68.5%) and the variation in sales increase is explained by the independent variable. Where the remainder (100%-68.5%) = 31.5% is explained by other causes outside the model. Standard Error of estimate (SEE) is 0.246. The smaller the SEE value, the more accurate the regression model will be in predicting the dependent variable, namely Increased Sales for MSME players

Abstract

This research aims to analyzed the level of the average income of the people of pemepek village of pringgarat sub-district central lombok regency from trigonasip honey bee cultivation, and to also analyze the contribution of the level of income from Trigona sp honey bee cultivation towards the respondent income. The type of data used in this research is qualitative and quantitative, the source of data used is from primary data and secondary data. The data collection method used in this research is observation, interview, and questionnaire with the aim to explore data verbally.The result of this research showed the average net profit from Trigona sp honey bee business in pemepek village of pringgarat sub-district central lombok regency is Rp 10.092.459/ year from 3 (three) productions in 1 (one) year. The struggle faced by Trigona sp honey bee farmer in pemepek village is that it is rather difficult to find new honey bee colony. The Trigona sp honey bee side business contribution towards the respondent household income in pemapek village is huge, where the Trigona sp honey bee side business achieve 66%, which is the highest presentation compared to other non-farming business income. Pemepek village's Trigona sp honey in the interest of business worthiness is very worthy to develop due to achieving R/C > from 1 that in the amount of 22,6 R/C thus it could be presumed to be worthy to be ran in pemepek village of pringgarat sub-district central lombok regency.

Abstract

Drought is a disaster frequently experienced in Pujut District, Central Lombok Regency. Almost every year, this area suffers from prolonged drought. This study was conducted to understand the characteristics of the droughts that occur, using a widely recognized drought assessment method as an effort to mitigate drought disasters in this region. The drought assessment used in this study is the Run method. This method was chosen due to its simplicity and the fact that it only requires rainfall data for its analysis. The results of the calculations for the depth and duration of the drought period are then compared with past droughts in the region and the natural phenomena that influenced them. The analysis using the Run method shows that the most severe and longest drought occurred at Pujut District from July 1997 to May 1998 (11 months) with a deficit of 800 mm from the average normal rainfall, and from 2014 to 2015 with a deficit of 553.54 mm. Both extreme droughts in 1997 and 2015 occurred in various regions of Indonesia and were related to the strong El Niño phenomenon occurred at that time

Abstract

Bawaslu Decision number 02/PTS/PSPP/BWSL.LTH.18.06/IX/2018 in the 2019 Election accommodates the right of former corrupt convicts to nominate themselves as legislators. Meanwhile, the regulations issued by the KPU through PKPU number 20 of 2018 prohibit corrupt convicts from becoming legislative candidates. Regency/city Bawaslu, with its quasi-judicial authority, in deciding a dispute, its decision can annul the KPU's decision or the dispute's decision is contrary to the norms regulated in the PKPU. The aim of this research is to determine the implementation of the Regency/City Bawaslu's authority in resolving election process disputes in the Central Lombok Regency Bawaslu in the 2019 Election. The authors used empirical legal research methods. Decisions issued by Bawaslu have a juridical character similar to the strength of decisions resulting from the litigation process in court. However, what is different is that Bawaslu decisions are final and binding for process disputes between election participants, whereas for process disputes between election participants and election organizers, some are binding and some are non-binding for several types of decisions, so there are other legal remedies that can be taken by The Parties are taking legal action at the State Administrative Court (PTUN)

Abstract

The database-based one data management policy is used by the West Sumbawa Regency DPUPR community development sector, especially for road infrastructure. Apart from that, the high percentage of unsatisfactory district roads in West Sumbawa shows the need for good management planning to facilitate decision making in implementing district road preservation in West Sumbawa. Through this study, the type and volume of damage to roads and complementary buildings and supporting facilities can be detected early so that immediate treatment can be carried out. This research aims to describe the application of the Provincial/District Road Management System (PKRMS) application. The data presented in this research is field data obtained from the work results (output) of the PKRMS application as a media/tool for conducting road condition surveys as part/item of district road preservation/maintenance activities in West Sumbawa. This research design uses a qualitative method with a survey approach using the Privincial/District Road Management System (PKRMS) application. The results of the research show that the current performance conditions of district roads in West Sumbawa are still far from ideal. This is because several roads have not been 100% treated with preservation. So the program recommendation is periodic maintenance and routine maintenance
