The samples in this study were 103 maternal medical records giving birth who had a pregnancy check up at the Ende City Health Center. The sampling technique is total sampling. The results of this study indicate that there is no relationship between age (p = 0.061), education (p = 0.733), occupation (p = 0.818), parity (p = 0.426) with complete antenatal care (antenatal care). It was concluded that there was no significant relationship between age, education, employment and parity with the completeness of antenatal care. With the results of these studies, the researcher suggests that the next researcher can add other variables and use quantitative and qualitative research methods.

Abstract

Today a number of diseases indicate an indication for surgery. After surgery, the patient will experience a weak condition and it will be difficult to carry out activities due to surgical procedures and surgical wounds that require time in the healing process. Data on general surgery in 2018 were 445 patients with a stay of 3-5 days Nursing interventions that can be performed by postoperative patients are early mobilization. Early mobilization includes factors that can affect the surgical wound healing process. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of early mobilization on post operative wound healing. The design of this study was quasi-experimental with a post-test only control group design. The population was all postoperative patients at the Depati Hamzah Regional Hospital in Pangkalpinang City. The sampling technique uses non random sampling by accidental sampling, with 12 respondents in the intervention group and 12 respondents in the control group. The test used is the T test of two different dependent means. The results of the study were that there was a significant difference between wound healing performed early mobilization and healing which was not carried out early mobilization with a p value: 0.002. The suggestion from this research is that a hospital can implement early mobilization after 6 hours postoperatively, so that the wound healing time will be faster.

Abstract

Bronchial asthma is an incurable disease but can be controlled or prevented from recurring. Long asthma treatment can have side effects such as growth suppression, increased liver enzymes, headaches, nausea and osteoporosis. Therefore it is necessary to use Buteyko breathing technique as an adjuvant therapy. Buteyko breathing technique has the advantage of being easy to do, safe and has no side effects, and requires no cost. On the other hand, buteyko breathing exercises can improve lung function. This study aims to determine the effect of Buteyko breathing technique on lung function. This quasi-experimental study uses a one group design pretest and post test approach, meaning that it is only conducted in one intervention group and there is no control group. The sample in this study amounted to 14 asthma patients selected from the Pulmonary Polyclinic Of Dr. Hasan Sadikin Bandung Hospital with consecutive sampling. Buteyko breathing technique exercises are done 15-60 in one day, with a minimum frequency of exercise twice a week for 4 weeks. Examination of pulmonary function was carried out using spirometry (FEV1 value) at the first week pretest and the fourth week post test. The collected data were analyzed descriptively and inferentially with a significance scale of p <0.05.Paired t-test showed a significantly higher difference (p = 0.00) in the FEV1 value after administration of the buteyko breathing technique (69.57% ± 6.836) than the FEV1 value before the administration of the buteyko breathing technique (37.43% ± 6,513).It was concluded that there is a positive effect of the Beyko breathing technique on lung function. Thus, it is important to make the results of this study as a study material for health workers in hospitals in an effort to improve lung function.

Abstract

Adolescence is a period of change in biological, psychological, and social aspects from childhood to adulthood. At this range of time, these changes can affect the development process and identity formation. This process may start at the early stage of adolescence which is in the age of junior high school. If adolescent developmental and identity status are not robust, adolescents tend to be easily exposed to negative behavior such as drug abuse and free sex. The purpose of this study was to determine the status of development and identity of adolescents in SMP Negeri 49 East Jakarta. The method used was descriptive quantitative to describe or to give illustration of the object being studied. Number of respondents was 21 adolescence which attained by calculation using purposive sampling technique. The results obtained are that most respondents have achieved optimal development (85,7%) and more than half of respondents have active identity (57,1%). From these results, it can be seen that not all respondents have achieved optimal development, and there are still many whose identities are less active. This is a natural phenomenon since the development and identity are still in process throughout adolescence until the age of eighteen. Furthermore, it can be concluded that the optimization of development achievement and adolescent self-identity is still needed, for this reason, efforts to promote adolescent health can be carried out both in schools and in the community setting.
