Abstract

PT. PAI currently does not have an Occupational Safety and Health Management System (SMK3), which is a standard that companies must have with a workforce exceeding 100 people. The research objective is a case study to measure the occupational safety and health climate at the Department of Rubber, Stockfit, and Chemical Storage. The research conducted consists of measuring the potential hazards (determining the amount of work activity) using the Job Safety Analysis (JSA) Method; subsequently the highest risk level is measured based on the Risk Score Method; after which the work system was improved by using Participatory Ergonomics (PE). The results of the study indicate that JSA produced 10 work activities with the highest risk score, namely rubber cutting activity, primering activity, and buffing activity. Its improvement by using the Participatory Ergonomics (PE) Method results in rubber cutting activity by rearranging the laying of rubber in the warehouse to a vertical position; primering activity by replacing glue containers and brushes with special tools; and finally, the buffing activity by installing an exhaust fan.

Abstract

Stroke is one of the public health problems in the world. Stroke can cause disability and functional disorders. The incidence of stroke in Indonesia increased sharply to become the third leading cause of death after heart disease and cancer. This study aims to determine the level of disability of clients after stroke against depression. Observational analytic research design with a cross-sectional design, performed at dr. Doris Sylvanus Palangka Raya in the Neural Poly Room. The Barthel index instrument to measure the level of disability, and the Hamilton scale instrument (HDRS) to measure the level of depression. The population in this study were post-stroke clients with disabilities who went out to the neurology clinic of dr. Doris Sylvanus Palangka Raya Hospital in the period January-June 2017 as many as 58 clients after stroke, so that by using the Sugiyono formula the sample size in this study was 38 people. The results of the study showed a significant relationship between the age of the patients after stroke with the level of depression with a value of p-value=0,032 and with a level of disability with a value of p-value=0,006 (p-value<0,05), p-value=0,000 (p-value<0,05). The results of the analysis of the level of disability of patients after stroke against depression are shown with a value of p-value=0,018 (p-value<0,05). There is a significant relationship between the level of disability of patients post-stroke for depression. Health education is needed to improve disability and depression in post-stroke patients.

Anemia occurs in 1/3 of women during the third trimester, and the most common cause is iron deficiency. The results of a preliminary study at BPM Wirahayu in August 2018, found 125 pregnant women with 25% of mothers having mild anemia, 10% moderate anemia and 0.7% severe anemia. The purpose of this study is that red spinach juice mixed with honey can increase hemoglobin levels. Research Design with Pre Experiment Method with Two Group Pretest Posttest design. The population is all pregnant women with anemia in BPM Wirahayu Bandar Lampung as many as 57 people from April to July 2019. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling. A sample of 40 people according to inclusion and exclusion, criteria. The results of the average analysis of hemoglobin in pregnant women before given red spinach juice mixed with honey is 9,795g/dl with a minimum Hb of 8,3g/dl and a maximum of 10,5g/dl and the average hemoglobin in pregnant women after honey red spinach juice mixed with honey is 11,495g/dl with a minimum Hb of 10,7g/dl and a maximum of 13,0g/ dl. The results of the analysis of the average hemoglobin before the control is 10,305g/dl with a minimum Hb of 10.0 g/ dl and a maximum Hb of 10,5g/dl, the average hemoglobin after the control is 10,795g/dl with a minimum Hb 10,6g/dl and maximum Hb 11,1g/dl. Bivariate analysis showed p-value of 0,000<0,05. There is a significant influence between the consumption of Red Spinach Juice mixed with honey on hemoglobin levels in pregnant women at BPM Wirahayu Bandar Lampung in 2019.

Abstract

The safety of snack food for elementary school children is a major problem that becomes public attention. Nutrition education using attractive media such as nutrition cards is needed to improve children's knowledge and behavior on consuming a healthy snack. The purpose of this study was to identify the effectiveness of nutrition education using nutrition cards on increasing knowledge, attitudes, and behavior of Elementary School Children. A quasi-experimental of two groups with pretest and posttest study was conducted among 66 elementary school children in Elementary School 154 Citepus Bandung. The intervention was carried out for 3 weeks. The treatment group was given nutrition education using nutrition cards, meanwhile, the control group was given a lecture using powerpoint. Data analysis used in this study was the Wilcoxon test. To identify the effectiveness of increasing knowledge, attitudes, and behavior between the two groups, the Mann Whitney test was used. The results showed an increase in the score of students' knowledge, attitudes, and behavior after intervention among the treatment and control group (p-value<0,05). Based on the Mann-Whitney test, there was a significant difference between the increase in students' knowledge scores in the treatment group and the control group, the knowledge score in the treatment group was higher than the control group (p-value<0,05). The increase in students' attitudes and behavior scores between the treatment group and the control group was statistically no significant difference (p-value>0,05). Nutrition cards can be used as attractive media to increase children's knowledge and attitude toward choosing healthy snacks.

Abstract

Dengue Bedarah Fever (DHF) one of the problem of the disease in Indonesia and including 30 countries in the world endemic for dengue disease, even though be second place disease in 2015 with a Case Fatality Rate (CFR) of 0.95%. Besides in Lampung in the last three years (2014-2016) tendency for Incidence Rate (IR) is increasing. In South Lampung Regency as the gateway to Sumatra Island in 2017 the Incidence Rate (IR) averaged 20.78% and one of the highest Incidence Rate (IR) reached 70.59% in the Hajimena Health Center Working Area, Natar District. Primary data is taken using questionnaires and checklists, and secondary data is sourced from Puskesmas and Kecamatan. Processing data using data processing software by analyzing using univariate, and bivariate methods. The results of this study show that there is a meaningful relationship are the mobility of the population with the incidence of disease. To eradicate dengue in the Natar sub-district, especially the Hajimena Public Health Center area which is an endemic area, it also requires comprehensive and integrated activities, namely PSN-DBD with periodic larvae checks by cadres of the Larvas Monitoring.

Abstract

Health care usually is focused on first-level health services (Puskesmas) to reduce the cost of health care covered by the BPJS Kesehatan. The quarterly visiting data of Jaminan Kesehatan Nasional (JKN) participants in the Inderalaya Puskesmas show a fluctuating trend. The objective of this study is to analyze the level of attribute towards the quality of health care service to the outpatient covered by JKN in the Inderalaya Puskesmas throughout 2018. This study employs a quantitative descriptive research method using Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA). The sample of this study were 122 JKN participants chosen by accidental sampling in the site. Data gathering was conducted with the questionnaires of expectation and reality consisting of eight quality dimensions and 30 attributes of statements. The overall conformity level in this study is 94.16%. The study found many respondents are dissatisfied with five care namely effectiveness (93.14%), physical/direct evidence (91.93%), reliability (93.86%), responsiveness (93.07%), and insurance (93.24%). Results of the cartesian-diagram analysis suggest that from 30 attributes, there were four attributes in the A quadrant, 12 attributes in the B quadrant, 11 attributes in the C quadrant, and three attributes in the D quadrant.
