Abstract

and the Indonesian women's team won in 2013 and 2014. This achievement became a discussion regarding the strategy used by the coach in determining a good area of attack so that the attacks created would not be in vain. and earn points. Therefore, it is necessary to have an analysis to determine the variation of the effective attack area. This will later become a guideline for coaches to improve the athlete's attacking ability. This descriptive research using the observational method was conducted at the Multipurpose Sports Hall of UIN Walisongo Semarang on 19-23 July 2019 with a research population of Indonesian men's and women's volleyball players at the 2019 Asean School Games. Using non-probability sampling techniques, a sample of 24 athletes was obtained. which is observed using an observation sheet that contains indicators of the success of the attack. After analyzing the data using percentages, it is known that on average 89.58% of the Indonesian Men's Team tends to attack at positions 1, 6, and 5. This is similar to the Indonesian Women's Team, which 85.99% of their attacks also lead to position 1, 6, and 5

Abstract

This study uses a qualitative research design with the type of case study research to find out information and descriptions of government policies in developing student sports achievements. Determination of research subjects to be used in this study was carried out by snowball sampling. The subjects in this study were all components of the education and culture office of Bener Meriah district, Aceh province, namely the head of the education and culture office, school principals and trainers. The data in this study were obtained based on the output of interviews using respondents. Data analysis consists of data collection, data reduction, data presentation or display, and drawing conclusions. The conclusions of this study are: (1) The policy of the Department of Education and Culture in developing student sports is by allocating funds for coaching, optimizing extracurricular sports in schools, entrusting outstanding student athletes to their home schools and increasing the competence of training physical education teachers, (2) The role of the Department of Education and Culture in the development of student sports is to be in charge of fostering student sports by designing a planned, tiered, and ideal sports nursery implementation program. (3) The strategy used by the Department of Education and Culture in the development of student sports can be done by good talent scouting, regeneration of student athletes and the development of human resource competencies for physical education teachers in sports coaching

Abstract

Chess is required to think extra and to have the foresight to master the game, to read the opponent's characteristics and walk smartly. Chess athletes can't get enough from their intelligence levels and low anxiety, but they have to counter with good concentration. The purpose of this study is to provide information and input for the development of chess games to identify IQ levels (intelligence quotient), anxiety levels and concentration levels of athletes and to analyze the psychological aspects of chess players during a game. The research approach with mixed method is that of correlated and ethnography qualitative. Instruments used in questionnaire, interview guidelines and documentation. The population and samples of the semarang city's chess player number 20 athletes made up of 12 men and 8 girls. Statistical hypothesis test carried out using version 23 of SPSS software. Research shows the value of sig IQ (intelligence quotient) 0.020.05 with assigned variable IQ (intelligence quotient) by 22.3 percent. On sig 's anxiety indicates a value of 0.033.05 with variable anxiety contributions of 32.8%. At the concentration of the sig shows a value of 0.007 < 0.05 with variable contribution of 44.3%. Sig indicates a value of 0.041 0.05, which indicates an IQ contribution (intelligence quotient), anxiety and concentration of central javan chess player with a variable IQ contribution (intelligence quotient), anxiety and concentration of 59.5%.

Abstract

This correlational study aims to determine the relationship between speed and agility on the football playing skills of young players. The sample consisted of 109 players with a mean age of 11.4 years. The sample had an average body weight of 38.5 kg, with a height of 148 cm. The sample had at least 3 months of practice experience in football school. It was conducted by first determining the speed of the players through a 40 m running test. Second, agility was measured a shuttle run test, while the basic football skills were measured using the David Lee skill test. The results showed that there was a relationship between speed, agility, and the football skills of the young players. This proves that football skills alone may not be able to describe the entire performance of players, as speed and agility are also important factors. Therefore, football coaches for young players are expected to pay attention to these factors as supporting components in improving player performance.

Abstract

Fluid intake is often neglected which has an impact on student productivity and achievement as well as the vulnerability of sports students to dehydration. The purpose of this study was to determine the fluid intake and hydration status of sports science studentsat Cenderawasih University. This cross-sectional survey with simple random sampling was conducted among 72 sports science students. The data collected were the characteristics of the subjects (age and BMI), fluid intake, hydration status and hydration knowledge. The hydration status was used to measure the urine color chart through the Self-Urine Check (PURI) card. Fluid intake was assessed using the 3x24 hour recall method and the semi-quantitative Food Frequency Form. The subject's hydration knowledge was assessed by using the Hydration Knowledge Scale (HyKS). The results showed that most of sports sciencestudents (69.4%) were well hydrated while respectively 18.1%, 6.9% and 5.6% were dehydrated in the light, moderate and severe categories. Total fluid intake was 2708.99±416.97 which was dominantly obtained from the water consumption. Hence, although most of the students were well hydrated, they were still found to be dehydrated. Correlation tests showed a very strong positive relationship between total fluid intake and hydration status. Further research involving physical activity variable in sports science students with a larger sample and sports nutritional education need to be conducted.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the effectiveness of the training using cone obstacle by jumping to improve the volleyball smash ability in athletes trained in the student activity unit of a public university in Medan. This study employed an experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The study was conducted at Student Activity Units at State Universities in Medan. The participants were 32 (F= 16 and M= 16) athletes who were being coached in the Volleyball Student Activity Unit. Collecting data used observations, interviews, and tests. Technique data analysis used Paired Sample t-test. The results showed that the exercise model using a cone hurdle with jumping had improved the athletes' volleyball smash skills even though the COVID-19 pandemic had not improved. The concept of a dissertation exercise with strict procedures for health protocols is the right solution so that athletes still have quality volleyball skills. The results of the study also have implications for understanding volleyball exercises during the COVID-19 pandemic, which limits activity.

Abstract

Learning in physical education has athletic teaching materials that have a poor image of students. The tendency to dislike athletic material which is considered only limited to running is an obstacle in carrying out athletic learning in elementary schools. So in this literature study, the purpose of this study is to identify, as well as provide criticism and input as well as evidence based on data or research that examines athletic learning. The source of the data for this research was obtained from Mendeley's reference management software with a span of 2015-2021. The process of getting articles with inclusion and exclusion criteria with the keywords learning athletics in elementary schools. The method used is Systematic Literature Review (SLR) with article feasibility test using MMAT. The results of the search for articles in the database obtained 140 articles with screening in 2015-2021 there were 116 which were then entered into the inclusion and exclusion criteria of 26 articles. Furthermore, the feasibility test process with the MMAT was carried out so that 6 articles were obtained which were used as literature in this study. The conclusion of this study is in accordance with the research that has been done and collected from the database that the learning method has an influence on the success of an athletic learning. It can be said that a good method can determine the quality of athletic learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the role of public speaking skills in preparation for field experience practice programme especially prospective of Physical Education Sport & Health teachers. The field experience practices is the programme expecting to form the prospective teachers who have the competencies required to become professional Physical Education Sport & Health teachers. The method used is descriptive qualitative by conducting a study of earlier research literature with the criteria for selecting articles based on PICOT. PICOT criteria consist of population, intervention, comparison, outcome and time. The results of the study show that public speaking skills play an important role on implementation of field experience practice for mastering the class with vocals and manage the class from the opening of the lesson to the closing activity. In addition, public speaking skills are useful for other incidental activities at school. For example are leading a meeting, being an MC (master of ceremonies) at special events at school, art performances, sports championships, etc. This research concluded that the mastery of public speaking skills is very important as a prerequisite for field experience practice prospective of Physical Education Sport & Health teachers before being sent to practice school.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui perilaku siswa setelah mengikuti pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif. Penelitian ini menggunaka pengumpulan data yang secara objektif, artinya hanya mengumpulkan data yang mendukung sebuah hipotesis. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah keseluruhan siswa kelas VII A dan VII B SMP Pusponegoro Pagejugan Brebes yang berjumlah 60 siswa yang diantaranya 10 siswa putra dan 20 siswa putri untuk kelas A dan 17 siswa putra dan 13 siswa putri untuk kelas B. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu bahwa ada perbedaan perilaku siswa setelah mengikuti pembelajara penjas kelas VII A dan VII B SMP Pusponegoro Pagejugan Brebes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa kelas B memperoleh manfaat yang lebih tinggi dalam mengikuti pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani dibandingkan dengan kelas A. Hal ini dapat terlihat bahwa siswa kelas B sebanyak 50 % siswa menyatakan bahwa pendidikan jasmani memiliki manfaat yang sangat tinggi. Sedangkan siswa kelas A 28 % siswa menyatakan memperoleh manfaat yang sangat rendah. Kesimpulan yang didapat adalah pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani dapat meningkatkan perilaku siswa.The purpose of this study was to determine the behavior of students after attending a physical education teaching. The approach used in this study is a quantitative approach. These studies make use of objective data collection, meaning that only collect data to support a hypothesis. The population in this study is the overall grade VII A and VII B SMP Pusponegoro Pagejugan Brebes of 60 students including 10 boys and 20 students daughters for classes A and 17 boys and 13 students daughters to class B. The results of this study is that there are differences in the behavior of students after attending a class penjas pembelajara VII A and VII B SMP Pusponegoro Pagejugan Brebes. The results showed that B-grade students benefit in following higher learning physical education classes compared with A. It can be seen that the B-class students as much as 50% of students stated that physical education has a very high benefit. A class of students while 28% of students claimed to benefit very low. The conclusion is teaching physical education can improve student behavior.
