Abstract

The objective of this study is to develop a design for SimpusTaka as a website-based library using the Laravel Framework so that a conducive, systematic and computerized system can be created at the Ksatrya Lima Satu college foundation. SimPusTaka’s design was developed from the foundation's website, library guidebooks, and the existing studies. The primary emphasis of this research centers around the three phases of the Borg & Gall model’s development. The study began with data collection through interviews and literature reviews, followed by the planning and initial development stages of SimPusTaka. The findings suggest that the researchers utilized the Borg & Gall development stages to design SimPusTaka as a foundation for creating a system for managing library information that is based on the web using the Laravel framework. During the data collection phase, the researchers conducted a thorough literature review using previous studies, guidelines for library services, and the Ksatrya Lima Satu Higher Education Foundation website. Interviews were conducted with the YPKLS school librarian. At the SimPusTaka design stage, the researcher made a list of SimPusTaka features according to the suggestions given from the data collection stage, namely homepage features, search for books, about us, librarian, survey satisfaction, contact, registration form, login.

Abstract

Strong leadership is the crucial foundation in creating an effective school management. Leaders in international schools in particular face different challenges because they must be aware of social and cultural contexts in Indonesia. Moreover, the leader must also understand the work ethics of teachers and staff who come from different countries to achieve total quality management in which supports the school organization. This study aims to provide a clear framework for leadership management in the context of international schools in Indonesia using qualitative research methods. The discussion in this study uses the results of observations by referring to the appropriate literature reviews regarding the strategies for achieving total quality management in schools. The result of the study shows that total quality management can be achieved because school leaders perform their roles, committed to their tasks, and responsible in making continuous improvements for the benefit of all stakeholders.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to extend a guideline for creating High Order Thinking Skill (HOTS) questions or test for Computer and Network Engineering majors at the Vocational High School in Salatiga City. Research and development (R & D) approach is used in this research. This research uses the five steps of the Borg and Gall (1983) model: research and information gathering, data collection, product design, design validation, and design revision. All vocational school teachers majoring in Computer Engineering and Networks in Salatiga City were participated in this research. Data collection techniques were carried out by document studies, interviews, and questionnaires. Data analysis was carried out by qualitative analysis. The results of the research were in the form of extending a guideline for creating HOTS questions and test for Computer and Network Engineering teachers at Vocational High Schools in Salatiga City. Based on limited trials, this guideline received a score of 3,68 out of a maximum score of 4,00. That is what makes a book great. So, it can be concluded that this guideline can be used for Computer and network engineering teachers outside Salatiga City.

Abstract

Quality educational results can be seen from the achievements achieved by students, both in academic and non-academic achievements. One of the parameters of a quality school is how schools are able to manage management functions both from planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating the school's superior programs that are their branding so that they can be trusted by the community in entrusting their sons and daughters. This research was conducted at the Integrated Islamic High School (SMAIT) Thariq Bin Ziyad Bekasi which implemented the school's flagship program dalam node Akhlak, Al Quran, Academic and Language (A3B), dimana. The research method uses descriptive qualitative with observation, interviews with informants and documentation studies. The data that has been obtained is reduced and then presented in the form of results and discussions. The results of this study found that the school's flagship program can have an impact on improving the quality of education and high public trust.

Abstract

This paper discusses the urgency of marketing management for higher education institutions, as it plays a crucial role in determining the sustainability of enrollment and increasing public trust in the university. The university's marketing management is carried out by taking into account the constantly changing consumers or stakeholders. Market research, positioning, and building the university's reputation are conducted in such a way that the relevance and accuracy of the strategies are always appropriate. The university's vision, mission, programs, and strengths cannot be recognized without promotion through good marketing management. This paper uses a qualitative method with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of this study show that UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta has implemented marketing management to increase enrollment sustainability with new innovations according to the demands of society 5.0. Furthermore, UIN has also utilized social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, website, alumni network, and others as marketing tools.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of financing management and infrastructure to improve the quality of learning at SMA Negeri 1 Kramatwatu, Serang Regency. The method used in this research is qualitative. The results of the study show that the implementation of financing management and infrastructure is an integral part in efforts to improve the quality of learning. Implementation of management of financing and infrastructure in SMA Negeri 1 Kramatwatu has gone through managerial stages, namely planning, implementation and supervision (auditing and accountability). Budget execution activities include recording income and expenses in the ARKAS system and preparing accountability reports in the form of notes, receipts, and activity documentation. The implementation phase of the implementation of infrastructure includes the procurement and arrangement of school facilities. The supervision stage for the implementation of financing management and infrastructure is carried out by internal schools and external parties which includes monitoring activities evaluating the acquisition of assets and consumables with BOS funding sources, BOS realization reports and cash opname.

Abstract

Islamic Religious Universities are higher education establishments that offer education, instruction, and/or development of science, technology, and/or art openly and comprehensibly to the public. Islamic Religious Universities also conduct research and engage in community service, using the findings of their work to advance science, technology, and/or the arts, as well as the welfare of the community. They also organize university management effectively and efficiently, academic administration and general administration in a skilled and transparent manner, and they promote the growth of science, technology, and the arts. Additionally, how are Islamic religious universities' position and function in promoting the growth of. This research is a type of descriptive qualitative research, namely research whose results are written in the form of a series of words, not in the form of numbers. This writing uses the library research method. The role of higher education in a global context is increasingly important in transforming various fields of science, technology and other social institutions to catch up with our country from other developed countries. Higher education is seen as the key to developing science and the quality of people's abilities to seize opportunities for participation in world transformation and sustainable development. Abstract

Based on basic education data (DAPODIK) at the high school level in Bekasi Regency in the Odd Semester of the 2022/2023 Academic Year, the number of students of 44 public high schools in Bekasi Regency reached 45,043 students. This means that as many as 77.85% of students attend public high schools. While the number of students attending private high schools is only around 12,811 students (22.15%). As a result, as many as 60 private high schools were declared unhealthy/unhealthy, due to a shortage of students. If this continues, it is likely that in the following year, many private high schools in Bekasi Regency will close because they do not get students. Of course, this must be overcome with a strategy to improve the quality of schools, one of which is to improve the performance of private high school teachers through job satisfaction. The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of the principal's leadership and school culture on the job satisfaction of private high school teachers in Bakasi District. This study used a quantitative approach with an explanatory method with a population of all private high school teachers in Bekasi Regency totaling 848 people. Data was collected using questionnaires and analyzed using path analysis. The results of the pathway analysis showed that there was a positive influence of the principal's leadership on teacher job satisfaction. The percentage of influence contribution is 37.5%. This means that the magnitude of the influence of the principal leadership variable (X1) on teacher job satisfaction (Y) is 37.5%. The results of the pathway analysis show that there is a positive influence of school culture on teacher job satisfaction. The percentage of influence contribution is 43.7%. This means that the magnitude of the influence of school culture variables (X2) on teacher job satisfaction (Y) is 43.7%.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the learning model of Guided Inquiry on Critical Thinking Skills and learning outcomes. The type of research used in this research is quantitative research (quasi experiment). The subjects used in this study were students of class V with a total of 58 students consisting of two classes (VA and VB). The instruments used in this study were in the form of instruments, namely tests, observation sheets and documentation. Data analysis techniques were carried out, namely descriptive tests (mean, median, mode and standard deviation) and inferential tests (Normality, Homogeneity and Manova). Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the application of the Think Pair Share learning model on communication skills, problem solving abilities and learning outcomes of students of class V MIN 4 Selayar Islands. This type of research is a pretest-posttest control group design. The number of samples in this study were 30 people, consisting of 15 people in the experimental class and 15 people in the control class. The data collection method used is the learning achievement test to measure learning outcomes, observation to measure communication and problem solving abilities, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical approach, imperential analysis and hypothesis testing. The research results obtained were 1) students' communication skills were 0.009 <0.05, which means H1 was accepted and H0 was rejected, that is, there was an effect of the application of the Think pair share learning model on students' communication skills. 2) students' problem-solving ability is 0.021 <0.05, which means that H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected, that is, there is an effect of applying the Think Pair Share learning model to students' problem-solving abilities. 3) student learning outcomes are 0.001 <0.05, which means H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected, that is, there is an influence of the application of the Think pair share learning model on social studies learning outcomes for students of MIN 4 Selayar Islands.
