Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of green technology adoption on business performance through product innovation in batik micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Lumajang Regency. A quantitative explanatory approach was employed. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire survey of 50 batik MSMEs selected using purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). that green technology adoption positively affects business performance and product innovation. Product innovation also positively influences business performance and partially mediates the relationship. These findings show that environmentally friendly technology improves operational efficiency and stimulates value-added product innovation. The novelty lies in examining product innovation as a mediating variable in batik MSMEs located in a non-industrial-center area. The originality is reflected in integrating green technology, product innovation, and business performance into a single mediation model using PLS-SEM. This study concludes that green technology adoption, supported by product innovation, significantly enhances batik MSMEs’ business performance.

Abstract

This study examines the effects of the work environment and individual ability on employee performance among sewing line employees at PT Karya Mekar Dewatamali. The study employed an explanatory quantitative approach using a Likert-scale questionnaire survey administered to 66 employees. The work environment was measured through work atmosphere, physical facilities, subordinate–supervisor relations, and coworker relations (LK1–LK8). Individual ability was assessed through knowledge, training, experience, skills, and work capability (KI1–KI8). Employee performance was measured through quantity, quality, timeliness, attendance, and teamwork (KK1–KK10). The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression, with model adequacy evaluated through classical assumption tests, including normality, multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity, and autocorrelation. The findings show that the work environment is the most dominant factor and, together with individual ability, contributes positively to employee performance. The model explains a substantial proportion of the variance in performance (Adjusted R² = 0.702). These findings underscore the importance of workplace support and competency enhancement in repetitive and precision-based sewing tasks.

Abstract

This study examines the effects of workload and role conflict on burnout among employed students in higher education. An explanatory quantitative approach was adopted, involving students from the 2021 cohort of the Management and Accounting Study Programs at ITEBIS PGRI Dewantara Jombang who simultaneously undertook academic and employment responsibilities. Data were collected through a questionnaire survey and analyzed to determine the relationships among the variables under investigation. The findings indicate that both workload and role conflict significantly affect burnout among employed students. Notably, role conflict emerged as the more dominant predictor of burnout than workload. These findings underscore that burnout among employed students is driven not only by substantial task demands, but also by the incompatibility between academic obligations and work responsibilities. Accordingly, this study highlights the importance of institutional support and adaptive coping strategies in helping employed students manage the pressures associated with their dual roles more effectively

Abstract

This study examines the effects of soft skills, motivation, and parental role on students’ work readiness. An explanatory quantitative approach was employed, involving students from the 2021 cohort of the Management Study Program at ITEBIS PGRI Dewantara Jombang. Data were collected through a questionnaire survey and analyzed to determine the relationships among the variables under investigation. The findings indicate that soft skills, motivation, and parental role significantly affect students’ work readiness. Among these variables, motivation emerged as the most dominant factor in explaining work readiness. These findings underscore that students’ work readiness is shaped not only by non-technical competencies, but also by internal drive for self-development and family support in preparing for future careers. Accordingly, this study highlights the importance of strengthening soft skills, enhancing motivation, and encouraging parental involvement as part of higher education strategies to support students’ work readiness prior to graduation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze human resource management practices at Dental Care Sengon Jombang, with a particular focus on human resource planning, development, and maintenance. The study employed a qualitative approach using a case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation involving individuals directly engaged in the clinic’s operations. The findings indicate that human resource management at the clinic has been implemented through three main functions. Workforce planning is carried out flexibly in accordance with service needs, human resource development is conducted through training and direct workplace learning, and human resource maintenance is reflected in open, flexible, and family-oriented working relationships. These findings suggest that human resource management practices at the clinic have supported operational continuity and service quality, although they remain adaptive in nature and have not yet been fully formalized. This study underscores the importance of strengthening more structured human resource management systems in small-scale healthcare facilities
