Abstract

Penelitian ini diselenggarakan untuk mengetahui bagaimana status sosial ekonomi, pengalaman membatik, juga pengaruh status sosial ekonomi dan pengalaman membatik pada kemandirian/ karakter membentuk karakter entrepreneur dari perajin batik tulis. Perajin batik tulis di Tanjung Bumi dianggap telah memiliki karakter entrepreneur karena memiliki sistem kerja mandiri yang berbeda dari perajin batik tulis di provinsi-provinsi lain, tetapi tidak terpotret dengan jelas. Penelitian mengenai entrepreneur karakteristik bagi komunitas perajin batik tulis di Madura tidak pernah dilakukan sebelum ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknis analisis yang deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan secara primer melalui wawancara dan pendistribusian kuesioner. Sampel yang digunakan adalah 74 orang perajin batik tulis, yang asli penduduk Desa Tanjung Bumi, Kabupaten Bangkalan, Madura. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tingkat entrepreneurship perajin batik tulis Tanjung Bumi masih sangat rendah, belum menjadi motor penggerak perekonomian dan pengalaman membatik tidaklah secara otomatis menjadikan mereka seorang entrepreneur.

Abstract

Evaluasi terhadap pengajar oleh students adalah penting dan umum dilakukan di universitas, baik dengan nama Student Evaluation of Educational Quality (SEEQ) dikembangkan Herbert Marsh, Student Instructional Report (SIR) dikembangkan oleh John Centra, Teaching Behaviors Inventory(TBI)dikembangkan oleh Harry Murray ataupun Student Evaluation of Teaching. Namun bagaimana evaluasi terhadap pengajar, jika pengajaran entrepreneurship yang dilakukan menggunakan project based learning yang membutuhkan bukan saja pengajaran, tetapi juga mentoring, workshop dari seorang entrepreneurs enabler atau dalam konteks Universitas Ciputra disebut fasilitator? Tulisan ini mencoba mengukur kelayakan instrumen evaluasi fasilitator tersebut yang dibuat sendiri oleh lembaga tersebut atau biasa disebut homegrown system.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan proses yang melibatkan keputusan investasi untuk bisnis start-up dan faktor-faktor yang berkontribusi terhadap perilaku yang menentukan keputusan investasi. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah informan yang memiliki bisnis startup di Universitas Ciputra. Purposive sampling digunakan untuk memilih informan penelitian. Sampel penelitian dipilih berdasarkan kelompok berbasis gender yang terdiri dari kelompok yang semua laki-laki, kelompok semuanya perempuan, dan kelompok kombinasi perempuan dan laki-laki. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan wawancara mendalam. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pemungutan suara dan diskusi dapat bertindak sebagai sarana untuk membuat keputusan investasi. Namun, hasil pemungutan suara tidak selalu menentukan keputusan akhir. Faktor-faktor yang berkontribusi terhadap perilaku menolak risiko adalah: (1) trust; (2) ketidakpastian; dan (3) passion (gairah). Kepercayaan dan passion berkorelasi negatif dengan perilaku menolak risiko. Ini berarti bahwa semakin besar tingkat kepercayaan dan passion seseorang, semakin kecil kemungkinan perilaku menolak risiko dalam keputusan investasi. Pandangan negatif dari ketidakpastian juga memengaruhi perilaku menolak risiko dalam keputusan investasi. Ketidakpastian menyebabkan seseorang menjadi enggan untuk mengeluarkan modal pada investasi. Namun, bila disatukan dengan peluang yang ada, ketidakpastian dapat mengurangi perilaku menolak risiko dalam keputusan investasi.

Abstract

Entrepreneurial tendency merupakan minat seseorang dalam berwirausaha. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh sikap, locus of control dan kreativitas terhadap entrepreneurial tendency dengan menggunakan metode analisis data dengan uji analisis regresi linear. Metode analisis data dilakukan dengan pengumpulan sampel dan populasi dosen yang dilanjutkan dengan memberikan kuesioner kepada dosen yang digunakan untuk mengukur nilai variabel sikap, locus of control, dan kreativitas dosen. Uji analisis regresi linear dilakukan dengan normalisasi, homokedastisitas, multikolinerlitas, dan analisis jalur. Dengan menggunakan metode-metode di atas dapat diketahui kelemahan dan kelebihan dosen terhadap entrepreneurial tendency.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of Interior Design, Perceived Customer Satisfaction and Customer Retention on objects which is Captain Coffee Malang in simultaneously and mediation. This study describes the causal relationship between the variables through hypothesis testing. This research collect data with techniques by using questionnaires and literature study. This study used 120 samples are consumers and customers of Captain Coffee Malang. Sampling using purposive sampling. Test equipment used to test the research instruments namely validity, reliability, and classical assumption. The analytical method used is the path coefficient analysis. Hypothesis testing using t test using SPSS program. These results indicate that the interior design has a significant influence on customer retention. The interior design also has a significant effect on perceived customer satisfaction. Customer retention also has significant direct effect on customer retention. Interior design significantly affects customer retention through perceived customer satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to test the influence of manager’s entrepreneurial attitude and manager’s entrepreneurial competence on organizational performance of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). SMEs are highlighted for their fame in creating jobs in the society and for their ability in increasing the rate of economic growth and in ensuring economic stability. However, there are some doubts on the influence of Manager’s Entrepreneurial Attitude and Manager’s Entrepreneurial Competence on Organizational Performance, which the study attempts to clarify. In this study, questionnaires were distributed to the managers of SMEs or their representatives, or other parties that understand the operation and the management of those SMEs. The sample size consisted of 35 respondents, and the acquired data were analyzed using multiple regression analysis. The result showed that manager’s entrepreneurial attitude affects organizational performance, while manager’s entrepreneurial competence does not.

Abstract

Sketch! is a garment company which manufactures ready-made clothing meant for middleclass consumers between the age of 16 and 35 years. The promotion mix planning is expected to increase the company’s promotional activities and make them more effective in order to increase the company’s income and turnover. This research is a qualitative descriptive research with indepth interview. Purposive sampling is used to select respondents who are familiar with the problems in order to obtain in-depth information. The five research informants are the CEO of Sketch!, a marketing expert, a consumer, a potential consumer, and a business competitor. Research results conclude that the company can develop their promotional activities using five types of promotion mix, namely advertising, sales promotion, personal selling, public relation, and direct marketing. This research also advises the company to maintain a good relationship with the public through sponsorship and create a company website.

Abstract

The development of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia underwent an increasing trend from 2013 to the end of 2014. This was evidenced by self-reliant SMEs whose main economic activities were in the macro sector. Inversely, MSMEs’ fisheries sector only contributed 3.25% to GDP in 2014. The assessment of macro fishery performance system can be measured through Fishery Performance Indicators method as introduced by James L. Anderson and Christopher M. Their export assessment method is based on input and output factors reflecting success in achieving sustainability. By knowing the size of the export, Small Fisheries Enterprise can maximize the aspects needed in optimizing the process from upstream to downstream using Triple Bottom Line method. This method is implemented based on three measures of economic, social, and environmental performance. They measure business success not only in terms of financial perspective but also economic perspective by optimizing the National Fish Logistics System broadly and involving communities and environments.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate SMEs development models done by an institution that have social responsibility. The Bank of Sumatra Utara was chosen for achieving many success in developing SMEs. The result is believed to be useful for the government and the institution to further develop the SMEs. This research reveals the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats that the SMEs face, especially the SMEs that are being developed by the institution. This research uses quantitave descriptive approach with SWOT method. The research began with model identification on SMEs development, marketing, funding and other facilities related to SMEs development under the institution. Further, SWOT matrix was mapped in order to choose the best strategy to develop the SMEs. The result of this research reveals that SMEs development strategy of the Bank of Sumatra Utara is an aggressive strategy, with courses/training in all aspects of enterprise management and establishing relationship with other institutions and universities for knowledge and technology transfer as the models of development.

Abstract

Indekita provides social website page as a place to write concept of ideas to invite Indonesia’s young generation, especially students of each area in Indonesia, to act their ideas. Indekita has two concepts, namely fundraising and incubation. Programs include in incubating concept take form of discussion community, which invites many parties to criticize and advise in entrepreneurial ideas, and brings together many young innovators with mentors who can help provide insight about product development and competitiveness as well as opportunities in society. The concept of crowdfunding is fund raising with a joint venture or donation system online that will be done to fund students’ business concept. The implementation of fundraising system and business incubation through indekita.com can be realized by focusing ideas on innovative entrepreneurial business. With these two concepts, students are expected to obtain funds and develop their business concepts so as to create business that enhances community competitiveness and provides new job opportunities in each region through entrepreneurship.
