Abstract

It’s different from English course, an English practicum course is English for Specific Purpose. In the midwifery study program, an English practicum course is entitled English for Midwifery. This course specifically discusses skills of prospective midwives in handling patients.This research is a descriptive study with qualitative research method. Data were collected using questionnaire techniques and interviews. The number of respondents in semester II are 12 respondents and semester IV are 22 respondents. Data analysis used the triangulation method by comparing the questionnaire results, interview data and student achievements in the English for Midwifery course.The results of this study indicate that students who have practiced in the practice field will more easily absorb the material in the English practicum course entitled English for Midwifery. Practical experience in the field provides sufficient background knowledge for students to be more involved in the practical.Keywords: English for midwifery, practice field, background knowledge

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh penggunaan model Value Clarification Technique (VCT) dalam pembelajaran sejarah untuk meningkatkan karakter siswa SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Penuh. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen dengan desain posttest only control design. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa X SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Penuh tahun pelajaran 2019/2020. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan lembar observasi, wawancara dan lembar kuisioner. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) 25.0. Temuan utama penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh yang signifikan penggunaan model Value Clarification Technique (VCT) terhadap Karaketer siswa SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Penuh. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh nilai t -3,888 dengan signifikansi (Sig) sebesar 0,000 lebih kecil dari 0,05. Sehingga disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran Value Clarification Technique (VCT) dalam pembelajaran sejarah memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap karakter peserta didik. Kata Kunci: Value Clarification Technique (VCT), Pembelajaran Sejarah, Pendidikan Karakter AbstractThis study aims to see the effect of using the Value Clarification Technique (VCT) model in history learning to improve the character of students of SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Penuh. The research method used was an experimental method with a posttest only control design. The research subjects were student X SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Penuh school year 2019/2020. The data collection technique is done by using observation sheets, interviews, and questionnaire sheets. Data analysis was performed using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) 25.0. The main findings of the study indicate that there is a significant effect of using the Value Clarification Technique (VCT) model on the characteristics of students of SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Penuh. This is indicated by the t value of -3,888 with a significance (Sig) of 0,000, less than 0.05. So that it is concluded that the use of the Value Clarification Technique (VCT) learning model in history learning has a significant effect on the character of students.Keywords: Value Clarification Technique, History Learning, Character Building

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan tentang cara menguatkan karakter nasionalisme generasi alpha di era digital melalui Living Values Education Program (LVEP). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan penelitian studi kepustakaan. Data dalam penelitian ini merupakan data sekunder yang berupa buku-buku ilmiah, jurnal ilmiah, laporan penelitian, dan sumber lain yang relevan. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian meliputi tiga tahapan, organize, synthesize, dan identify. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai LVEPyang mencakup nilai kerjasama, kebebasan, kebahagiaan, kejujuran, kerendahan hati, cinta, kedamaian, penghargaan, tanggung jawab, kesederhanaan, toleransi,dan persatuan memiliki relevansi yang kuat dalam penanaman karakter nasionalisme generasi alpha di era digital. Aktivitas nilai-nilai LVEP yang meliputi kegiatan refleksi, berimajinasi, berdialog, berkomunikasi, berkreasi, membuat tulisan, menyatakan diri lewat seni, dan bermain dengan nilai-nilai yang diajarkan dapat dijadikan sebagai program inovatif dan kreatif dalam proses pembelajaran yang bertujuan untuk penguatan karakter nasionalisme anak-anak generasi alpha di era digital darisajian informasi dan budaya yang tidak sesuai dengan nilai-nilai pancasila.

Abstract

AbstractSenior High School (SMA) is a strategic educational environment in shaping the personality of multicultural students. Through Islamic Religious Education the strategic role of the school is becoming increasingly apparent because Islamic Education that is carried out properly will bring a positive and productive attitude change. The purpose of this study is to investigate multicultural education in SMAN 1 Kendawangan, which is with a lot of diversity. The method used is descriptive qualitative with a phenomenological approach. The results of this study indicate that the first important argumentation of multicultural Islamic religious education in Islamic religious education is the factor, religious religions of ethics, cultural customs, and social status that are often the latent potential of social conflict. Second Multicultural education is carried out by internalizing in an integrated manner through contextualization and Extention of the material, the need for learning strategies, and attitude/behavior-based assessments. Third multicultural education is carried out by incidental (temporary) actions, namely by counseling during the flag ceremony, conducting Friday blessings (healthy and clean schools), and developing tolerance through the momentum of religious holidays in schools.Keywords: Multicultural, Islamic Religious Education, Kendawangan AbstrakSekolah menegah Atas SMA adalah lingkungan Pendidikan yang setrategis dalam pembentukan kepribadian siswa multikuturalis. Melalui Pendidikan Agama Islam peran strategis sekolah tersebut menjadi semakin nyata, karena Pendidikan Agama Islam yang dilaksanakan dengan baik akan membawa perubahan sikap positif dan produktif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menginvestigasi Pendidikan multicultural di SMAN 1 Kendawangan, yang merupakan dengan banyak keragaman. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pertama argumentasi pentinga Pendidikan agama Islam multicultural dalam Pendidikan agama Islam adalah factor, keragama sgama etis, adat budaya dan status social yang sering menjadi potensi laten konflik social. Kedua Pendidikan mulitkultural dilakukan dengan menginternalisasikan secara terintegrasi melalui kontekstualisasi dan mepengangan materi, perluasa strategi pembelajaran dan penilaian berbasis sikap/perilaku. Ketiga pendidkan multikultur dilasakukan dengan tindakan insidental (temporary) yakni dengan penasihatan pada saat upacara bendera, melakukan jumat berkah (sekolah sehat dan bersih) dan pengembangan toleransi melalui momentum hari besar keagamaan di sekolah.Kata kunci: Multikultural, Pendidikan Agama Islam, Kendawangan

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat kondisi psikologi keluarga muslim dan kesulitan yang muncul dalam proses pembinaan religiusitas anak, serta menemukan pola pembinaan religiusitas anak dalam keluarga muslim. Penulis menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan etnografi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data kualitatif dalam penelitian ini dilakukan secara simultan dengan proses data. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Analisis Model Interaktif dari Miles dan Huberman. Langkah-langkah dalam kegiatan analisis data termasuk: menarik data (data), reduksi data (reduksi data), penyajian data (data), dan penarikan atau pengungkit (kesimpulan).Hasil penelitian ini adalah: orang tua tunggal , kondisi kemiskinan; dan jarak lokasi perkerjaan yang jauh dengan keluarga. (2) kesulitan-kesulitan yang muncul dalam proses pembinaan religiusitas anak termasuk bagian dari kebersamaan orang tua dan anak, adanya pegaruh lingkungan sekitar dan pergaulan teman sebaya, serta tidak adanya sesosok ayah sebagai panutan dalam keluarga. (3) pola pembinaan religiusitas anak di dalam keluarga muslim yang lazim diterapkan adalah: (1) pola pembinaan demokrasi (2) pola pembinaan otoriter (3) pola pembinaan permisif.

Abstract

Prof. Dr. Tuty Awawiyah is a female scholar as well as educational thinker  who succeded establishing and managing Pesantren-based schools starting form kindergarten, the elementary school,  junior high school, the senior high school until the college. The Purpose of this paper is to add insight and treasure about the concept of holistic Islamic education of Prof. Dr. Tuty Alawiyah and its relevance in the Millenium Era. Based on reseach and literature review that have been done, Islamic holistic education can be interpreted as education that is able to answer the problems of education faced in the word of education di the millennium era, for Islamic holistic education  is education that shapes something in a whole way, therefore it becomes a very large unity that any other exithing combination. Abstract

This research in aimed to find out if Problem  Based Learning Model can improve the  independence of learning and learning achievment  at class XII IPS2 in MAN 1 Kulon Progo. The subject of this reasearch the students of MAN 1 Kulon Progo at class XII IPS2 for 33 students. The datum are  obtained by using observation sheet and quantitative   and  qualitative data analysis. It is shown that the are significant improvemens on cycle I, cycle II , and cycle III. The everage scores of learning achievement are 65,7 on cycle I, 71,6 on cycle II and 73,5 on cycle III. Abstract

Based on Circular Letter of Educational Authorities of West Java Province Number 443/5867-Set.Disdik regarding the extension of the teaching and learning process implementation time at home and the mandate of the Head of Educational Authorities (Disdik), Dewi Sartika, taking into account a number of matters related to Covid-19 (Pikiran Rakyat, 01 - 04 June 2020, 12:45 WIB), the implementation of education in West Java Province is carried out with the long distance learning mechanism. By paying attention to this policy, SMA N 1 Bongas Indramayu West Java carries out a distance learning process (online) through electronic media (E-Learning). Thus, teachers must be more creative and innovative in choosing and implementing appropriate learning methods so their students’ problems in the form of low reading skills and difficulties in understanding English reading texts can be resolved properly. This study aims to test and produce learning media in the form of genres through Microsoft PowerPoint and to improve students' reading comprehension skills in understanding English texts. Therefore, this learning media is very helpful for English teachers in improving students' reading comprehension skills in understanding English texts through long distance learning during the Covid-19 period. Referring to Sugiyono (2013: 407-427), this research is categorized as research and development (R&D). The study population was all students of SMA N 1, Bongas District, Indramayu Regency, totaling 522 students, 216 boys and 306 girls. This research applied Random sampling technique. The sample was 29 students of Class XII MIPA-3 (15 boys and 14 girls) with the assumption that they already had basic reading comprehension skills in English in the previous class; and as material stabilization before they carry out the national/school final exams.. Before giving treatment by applying the genre through Microsoft PowerPoint as a learning medium, students were given a pre-test. This is done to see the basic abilities of students before treatment. After the learning (treatment), students did the post-test.This was done to know the improvement of students' understanding ability in reading English texts. The instrument used in this study was an objective test in the form of multiple choices of which validity was tested through expert judgment (Sugiyono, 2013: 177) and point-biserial correlation test (Azwar, 2011: 19-21) and its reliability was tested using the Kuder-Richardson test (KR-20), Azwar (2011: 82). The data from the pre-test and post-test results were analyzed through the related t-test and were described (Sugiyono, 2013: 422). The results showed that the learning method by applying the genre through Microsoft PowerPoint was very effective in improving students' comprehension skills in reading English-language texts through distance learning (online) during the Covid-19 period. This can be seen from the value of t-test = -17,792 with a value of t-table = 2.052 with degree of freedom (df) n-2 = 27 at an error level of 5% in the area of acceptance Ha and rejection of H0. This explains the significant difference between the learning method by media of genre through Microsoft PowerPoint and the previous method.Keywords: development, media, genre, reading, understanding

Abstract

This paper aims to describe and analyze the process and implications of the implementation of Islamic religious education learning in santri families in Wonolelo village, Pleret district, Bantul district. Qualitative methods with the type of case study research are used to reveal these expectations. Data collection was carried out by observation, interviews, and documentation. The collected data were analyzed by analytical induction.The process of implementing Islamic religious education learning in the santri family can be carried out through planning, implementation and evaluation. The third process can be successful, influenced by various factors. Among them are materials, methods, environment, technology, and cooperation or cohesiveness between family members, especially both parents. Finally, family education can have an impact or have implications for the character of family members, especially children as themselves, relating to Allah, the Lord of the Universe, God's fellow creatures. Keywords: Implimentation, learning, Islamic religious education, santri families

Abstract

The Covid-19 Pandemic has caused a number of educational institutions in Indonesia to be temporarily closed. Learning activities in a number of areas are carried out online and eliminate face-to-face learning. The implementation of online learning in Indonesia, including in Bantul DIY district, is not an easy matter because it is a new way of adapting to the new Indonesian education system. This study aims to explore teachers' perceptions of online learning that have been held during the Covid-19 pandemic.The research method used in this research is descriptive quantitative research which aims to describe the teacher's perceptions of the effectiveness of online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. Respondents in this study were 46 teachers. The data collection technique used was a questionnaire that was submitted to the respondents online (social media and electronic mail).Based on the results of the study, it was found that all Islamic elementary school (Madrasah Ibtidaiyah) teachers in Bantul had implemented online learning. Even so, most of the respondents stated that online learning was not yet effective (69.60%). This is influenced by limited infrastructure, the readiness of parents to provide assistance to children while learning from home, and some teachers have not been able to respond and adapt to this online learning properly and effectively.Keywords: teacher perceptions, online learning, pandemic covid-19
