Abstract

The bus stop is one of the public facilities used by the public to wait for buses or public transportation. One of the bus stops in the city of Bandung, namely the Bandung Square Bus Stop, which has an area of about ± 100 m², is a bus stop that is quite often used by the public, especially since it is located in the center of Bandung. This bus stop is used by various age groups, with sitting behaviors such as being near or far from other users, waiting standing up, and users sitting at sign names. The variety of user behavior while waiting for the bus creates space at the Bandung Square Bus Stop. The purpose of this research is to find out what factors influence the sitting behavior of bus stop users which can then be used as a solution in the design of the bus stop. This research is a form of further research conducted by Aria Dirgantara Putra, Muhammad Azwir, Vera Octaviany, and Rasty Nilamsuci in their journal "Study of Transformation of Form and Function of Bandung Square as Public Open Space". To find out, the method used in this study is a qualitative method. Where the qualitative research method is carried out by means of observation observations and behavior mapping (behavior mapping) and is equipped with additional data through visitor questionnaires. Based on the results of processing the data that has been collected, it can be concluded that the behavior of users while waiting for the bus has a dif erent style according to the comfort of the users themselves from various circles. Abstract

A research it is necessary to have a theoretical and conceptual framework to guide the research path and are the basis for several stages and processes establishing research credibility. In terms, these two types of frameworks are quite similar, but in fact these two frameworks dif er from each other in their concepts and roles in research. Many researchers find it dif icult and confusing to tell the dif erence. So this article examines and provides an understanding of these two types of frameworks. This research was conducted qualitatively with a literature study to find definitions as well as similarities and dif erences. The result is to provide an understanding of the similarities, dif erences, and stages of forming a theoretical and conceptual framework in social science research. Theoretical framework is a series of models that describe observed phenomena that aim to determine relationships between variables, help researchers find research questions, find solutions to research problems, and can even be a guide for research. The conceptual framework is a series of ideas developed and ef orts to simplify the abstraction of the researcher's mind regarding the observed phenomenon so that research can be directed, well described, and easy to understand. Abstract

: Today's society views motorbikes as no longer just a means of transportation, but also as part of their lifestyle. Not only for established groups, but also young people, they began to modify their motorcycles to look more beautiful or just follow the trends and times that are developing in the world of custom motorcycles. In addition to the aesthetics, motorcycle modification also takes into account the strength of the motorcycle variety products used. Many variations of motorcycle spare parts today do not pay attention to the life and durability of the spare parts themselves including the crucial part. The crucial part of a motorcycle is the motorcycle tank. Motorcycle tanks with metal or iron plates that are widely circulated in the market are susceptible to rust corrosion and also dents due to impact. The design of a custom motorcycle tank with fiberglass white carbon powder material provides convenience to custom motorcycle users in the maintenance of their tanks. With this fiberglass white carbon powder material, motorcycle tanks will be easier to maintain because they do not cause rust and can also withstand collisions with certain forces. Key words: motorcycle tank, fibreglass white carbon powder, custom motorcycle, corrosi

Abstract

Deafness is an experience of reduced listening ability that makes people unable to perceive stimuli through the sense of hearing. Deafness will have an impact on the education received by the suf erer. When communicating, the language used in daily life is sign language. One of the provinces with the most deaf people in Indonesia is East Java.. SLB Tunarungu Karya Mulia kindergarten of Surabaya is one of the schools specializing in hearing impaired people. This kindergarten has a learning media in the form of Rolling Picture that works manually. This makes the learning process less ef icient. With this, it is necessary to develop a Rolling Picture that can be moved automatically using a remote. Automatic Rolling Picture contains 9 meters long material with a weight of 4,160 grams and can be controlled with remote using two buttons. When the first button (previous) is pressed, the motor will move CW (Clockwise) that is clockwise, to run the next material, and the button (next) then the motor will move CCW (Counterclockwise) which is counterclockwise to change the previous material. The use of remote can control the tool with a maximum distance of 5 meters. It is expected that this learning media can facilitate teachers to teach and facilitate students in learning sign language vocabulary.
