Abstract

ABSTRACT   The purpose of this research is to determine the factors that affect the competence of the participants graduate internship program (called it COOPs = Cooperative students) at PT Chevron Pacific Indonesia. This type of research is quantitative associative by using path analysis. Sampling technique research using simple random sampling technique, while the data collection techniques using questionnaires. Based on the research, the following results are obtained: (1) there is a direct positive effect of curriculum relevance to the competence of graduates, (2) there is a direct positive effect of learning behavior toward the competence of graduates; (3) there is direct positive effect of curriculum relevance to adversity quotient; (5) there is a direct positive effect of curriculum relevance to learning behavior, and (6) there is a positive direct effect of adversity quotient to the competence of graduates of apprenticeship program participants of PT. Chevron Pacific Indonesia.

Abstract

ABSTRACT   Professional commitment of Pakuan University lecturer plays a crucial role in achieving the student learning outcomes. Based on pre-research survey of Pakuan University Report on 2015 professional commitment among lecturer is still low and not satisfactory. The objective of this research is to investigate whether there exists any direct positive effect of organizational climate, self-efficacy and job satisfaction towards professional commitment at University of Pakuan. A total of 189 from 324 university lecturer were sampled to collect data which was then analyzed using path analysis quantitative method. The result shows that there exists a direct positive effect of organizational climate towards professional commitment, self-efficacy toward professional commitment, job satisfaction towards professional commitment, organizational climate job satisfaction, self-efficacy toward job satisfaction, and organizational climate towards self-efficacy. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to know how was the influence of democratic leadership style, organizational culture, commitment to the organization, confidence, and lecturers’ performance. How did the organizational culture affect organizational commitment, self-confidence, and lecturer performance. How did the organization's commitment to self-esteem, and how did it affect the learners’ performance.This paper was based on the results of research conducted at STKIP Hamzanwadi Selong college which was domiciled in Pancor Selong Sub-district, Lombok Timur regency of Nusa Tenggara Barat Province using survey method, taking samples from one population and using questionnaire as the instrument. Data collection technique was done through questionnaire with descriptive-verification design. The grain validity test is performed through empirical tests of instrument grains. The collecting data were analyzed using F- test and t-test. The results of testing hypothesis and data analysis showed that the democratic leadership style had a significantly influence on organizational culture, commitment to the organization, confidence and lecturers’ performance. Organizational culture had a significantly effect on commitment to the organization, confidence and lecturers’ performance. Commitment to the organization did  not have a positive effect on self-confidence, and confidence did not affect the lecturers’ performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of school leadership by the principal and self-efficacy towards the teachers’ motivation. This research used expost facto method, by involving 165 Natural Science teacher of integrated Islamic school as a randomly selected sample. The results of this research indicates that there are significantly differences in motivation of the Natural Science teachers between teachers led by principals who have a transformational leadership with transactional leadership. There is also a significant interaction impact between principal's leadership and self-efficacy on the teachers’ motivation.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to study the effect of managerial competence, entrepreneurship and promotion on performance of course institutions in Pekanbaru City. This research uses quantitative approach with survey method. The population in this research are 97 managers from course institutions in Pekanbaru City. The results of this research indicate that; (1) There is direct positive influence of managerial competence on course institutions performance; (2) There is direct positive influence of entrepreneurship on course institutions performance; (3) There is direct positive influence of promotion on course institutions performance; (4) Therefore, institutions’ performance improvement can be achieved well if there is strong influence from managerial competence, entrepreneurship, and promotion.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to obtain information about organizational commitment of heads of departments of Muhammadiyah’s Higher Education Institutions in Kopertis Region III, which is influenced by cognitive ability, transformational leadership, and organizational justice. The research was conducted using quantitative approach with the path analysis method in hypothesis testing. In this study, where heads of departments are as the unit of analysis, 53 samples of heads of departments were obtained and selected at random. The results of the study were as follows: (1) cognitive ability has a direct positive effect on organizational commitment; (2) transformational leadership has a direct positive effect on organizational commitment; (3) organizational justice has a direct positive effect on organizational commitment; (4) cognitive ability has a direct positive effect on organizational justice; (5) transformational leadership has a direct positive effect on organizational justice; (6) cognitive ability has a direct positive effect on transformational leadership. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that cognitive ability, transformational leadership, organizational justice can increase organizational commitment of the heads of departments of Muhammadiyah’s Higher Education Institutions in Kopertis Region III.

Abstract

School is an institution of education that managed by many stakeholders. The core of school service provides a public service in education. As a public servicer, school must take a serious effort to maintain its performance .Performance evaluation is kind of effort to maintain and develop quality of service. School evaluation performance should bean integrated evaluated. Balanced scorecard one of the some performance approaches that focusing in many areas- not only financial perspective but also costumer, internal business process , and growth and learning perspective. Balanced scorecard have been approved as an effective approaches in bussines institution. The result of evaluation give a complete and integrated information. Balanced scorecard should be an effective approaches of school performance as well.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the impact of work culture, organizational learning, and self efficacy to the effectiveness of lecturers' work at Politeknik Kesehatan Kemenkes RI Tanjungkarang. This research uses the quantitative survey method and conducted to the lecturers of Politeknik Kesehatan Kemenkes RI Tanjungkarang with 99 people taken as samples. The data was collected using questionnaires and analyzed using the path analysis. The results of this study show that work culture, organizational learning, and self efficacy have a direct positive effect on work effectiveness; work culture and organizational learning have a direct positive effect on self efficacy; and work culture has a direct positive effect on organizational learning.   Keywords: Work Effectiveness, Work Culture, Organizational Learning, and Self Efficacy.

Abstract

THE EFFECT OF TEAMWORK, PERSONALITY, AND WORK MOTIVATION TOWARD PUBLIC HIGH SCHOOL TEACHER’S PERFORMANCE IN SINTANG DISTRICT       Uray B. Asnol Program Pasca Sarjana Universitas Negeri Jakarta Email : uray.asnol@gmail.com         Abstract   This study aims to investigate a direct positive effect of teamwork, personality, and work motivation toward public high school teacher’s performance in Sintang District. A survey method was employed in this quantitative study involving 193 teachers as respondents. A testing instrument was conducted prior to hypothesis test by means of path analysis. Findings show that: (1) teamwork variable has a direct positive effect toward teachers’ performance with coefficient value of 0.209; (2) personality variable has a direct positive effect toward teachers’ performance with coefficient value of 0.585; (3) work motivation has a direct positive effect toward teacher’s performance with coefficient value of 0.731; (4) teamwork variable has a direct positive effect toward work motivation with coefficient value of 0.126; and (5) personality variable has a direct positive effect toward work motivation with coefficient value of 0.647.   Keywords: Teamwork, Personality, Work Motivation, Teacher’s Performance

Abstract

The Objective of this research is to study the direct effect of the supervision, job experience, and performance toward career of the lecture. Research method that been used is quatitative approach with survey method. The techniques of collecting data using questionnaires and interviews. The data analysis was done using descriptive analysis and inferential analysis with the approach of path analysis. The result are : (1)The supervision has positive direct influence on the career, (2) Experience has positive direct influence on the career, (3) Performance has positive direct influence on the career, (4) Supervision has positive direct influence on the performance, (5) Experience has positive direct influence on performance.
