Abstract

This study aims to examine the use of cooking recipes to improve learning outcomes of procedural texts. In learning activities, it was found a problem that student learning outcomes in complex procedure materials were still low. This can be seen from student learning outcomes, where the average value of the learning process is only 45 or 10% above the predetermined KKM, which is 78. Based on this fact, it is necessary to improve the implementation of learning which is carried out in 2 cycles with stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection of each cycle. The research method applied was a class action research using Kurt Lewin's model, which was conducted on 33 students of class X IIS 4 consisting of 20 girls and 13 boys at SMA Negeri 1 Tanjungpandan. Based on the analysis of the research data, it can be seen that the use of cooking recipes can improve the learning outcomes of procedural texts in class X semester 1 students of SMA Negeri 1 Tanjungpandan in the 2014/2015 academic year. This is evidenced by the average value obtained by students increasing to 85% with an average value of 90. Keywords: learning outcomes, procedure text, cooking recipes Abstrak Pelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji penggunaan resep masakan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar teks prrosedur Dalam kegiatan pembelajaran ditemukan masalah bahwa hasil belajar siswa dalam materi prosedur kompleks masih rendah. Hal ini terlihat dari hasil belajar siswa yang rata-rata nilai proses belajar hanya 45 atau 10 % di atas KKM yang telah ditetapkan yaitu 78. Berdasarkan kenyataan tersebut maka perlu dilakukan perbaikan pelaksanaan pembelajaran yang dilakukan dalam 2 siklus dengan tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi masing-masing siklus. Metode penelitian yang diterapkan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas model Kurt Lewin yang dilakukan pada siswa kelas X IIS 4 berjumlah 33 siswa yang terdiri atas 20 orang perempuan dan 13 orang laki-laki di SMA Negeri 1 Tanjungpandan. Berdasarkan analisis data hasil penelitian, dapat diketahui bahwa penggunaan resep masakan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar teks prosedur pada siswa kelas X semester 1 SMA Negeri 1 Tanjungpandan tahun pelajaran 2014/2015. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh siswa meningkat menjadi 85 % dengan rata-rata nilai 90. Kata kunci: hasil belajar, teks prosedur, resep masakan

Abstract

This study aims to describe the types, functions, and effects of directive speech acts in the greeting speech delivered by Anies Baswedan in the commemoration ceremony of the 494th anniversary of DKI Jakarta. The research approach used in this research is a theoretical and methodological approach. The theoretical approach used is a pragmatic approach, while the methodological approach used is a descriptive and qualitative approach. The data in this study are fragments of Anies Baswedan's speech, while the data source for this research is Anies Baswedan's welcoming speech in a YouTube video uploaded by the DKI Jakarta Regional Government. Data collection was carried out using the listening method with the basic technique, namely tapping technique, followed by an advanced technique, namely the conversational free listening technique which was then followed by recording and note-taking techniques. Data analysis using heuristic method. Presentation of the results of data analysis using informal methods. The results of the research in Anies Baswedan's speech found various variations of speech. Based on the types of speech acts found are directive speech acts inviting, asking, ordering, and advising.

Abstract

Language is not only from words, but also meaning behind those words. In discourse, there are two components: intra linguistics and extra linguistics. Intra-linguistic component means discourse build from word to word, phrase to phrase, sentences to sentences, paragraph to paragraph at the end it becomes discourse. Extra linguistics competences have some components, settings, purposes, and others component when the text is composed. I will explain how to teach discourse in teaching reading. First, teacher gives questions to open the class; the question should open students' background knowledge about subject at that day. At that stage, teachers should try to raise students' curiosity at that topic. Teachers should ask students opinion about the topic. After that stage, the teacher gives students an up-to-date material close to students' real life. In this stage, students read it by scanning and skimming. The next step, teacher asks students to analyze structure (grammar), vocabulary, and how author developing ideas their composition.

Abstract

This study will develop a syllabus model for the Indonesian Semantics course in the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program. This research is part of research on the syllabus model for the Indonesian Semantics course in the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program. Preliminary research, analyzing the syllabus of Sematic courses from several universities that teach the same study. The description of the study material for the Semantics course is based on a descriptive analysis with a content analysis study of the various contents of the study material in the Indonesian semantic syllabus in several Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Programs. The results of this content analysis describe the study material for the scope of the Semantics course in the syllabus, namely the general concept of meaning (38%) and the definition of meaning (37%); types of lexical meaning (62%), the concept of relation meaning synonyms, antonyms, hyponyms (40%); the concept of the meaning component (14%); the concept of the meaning field (67%); the concept of changing meaning (50%), implicit semantic and syntactic compatibility (50%), semantic and pragmatic compatibility are not explicitly studied (100%); based on Semantic study materials as linguistic vocabulary that are less espouse towards diction mastery and vocabulary teaching are predicted to show less espouse for the formation of discourse competence (30%). Discourse competence is the pedagogic goal of semantic concept study materials as linguistic vocabulary. Abstrak Penelitian ini akan mengembangkan model silabus mata kuliah Semantik Bahasa Indonesia di Prodi Pendididkan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia. Penelitian ini sebagai bagian rangkaian penelitian model silabus mata kuliah Semantik Bahasa Indonesia di Prodi Pendididkan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia. Penelitian awal, menganalisis silabus mata kuliah Semantik dari beberapa perguruan tinggi yang mengajarkan kajian yang sama. Deskripsi bahan kajian mata kuliah Semantik didasarkan pada analisis deskriptif dengan kajian content analysis terhadap berbagai isi bahan kajian dalam silabus semantik bahasa Indonesia yang ada di beberapa Prodi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia. Fokus dan objek penelitian berkenaan dengan aspek kebahasaaan kosakata berdasarkan kajian semantik. Hasil analisis isi ini mendeskripsikan bahan kajian ruang lingkup mata kuliah Semantik dalam silabus adalah konsep umum makna (38%) dan definisi makna (37%); jenis makna leksikal (62%), konsep relasi makna sinonim, antonim, hiponim (40%); konsep komponen makna (14%); konsep medan makna (67%); konsep perubahan makna (50%), kesesuaian semantik dan sintaksis secara implisit (50%), kesesuaian semantik dan pragmatik tidak dijadikan bahan kajian secara eksplisit (100%); berdasarkan bahan kajian semantic sebagai kebahasaan kosakata yang kurang mendukung ke arah penguasaan diksi dan pengajaran kosakata diprediksi menunjukkan kurang mendukung pembentukan kemahirwacanaan (30%). Kemahirwacanaan adalah tujuan pedagogik dari bahan kajian konsep semantik sebagai kebahasaan kosakata.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the process and learning outcomes of the application of the two-stay- two-guest method based on HOTS literacy in the learning of imaginative story writing skills for seventh grade students of SMPN 43 Jakarta. This research was conducted in class VII SMPN 43 Jakarta with a sample of 61 people. The research method used is descriptive analysis adapted to the problem to be revealed. Based on the results of data analysis regarding the application of the 2T 2T method based on HOTS literacy in learning the ability to write imaginative story texts for class VII SMPN 43 Jakarta, it was declared successful. This can be seen from the comparison of student learning outcomes before and after being treated. The average value of the ability to write imagination text at the pretest was 55.94 and 79.76 at the posttest. From these data, it can be seen that the ability to write imaginary texts on the pretest is still lacking because it does not reach the KKM, while the ability to write imaginary texts on the posttest is categorized as good because it has reached the KKM. The success of learning the ability to write imaginative texts is strongly influenced by the 2T 2T method based on HOTS literacy.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the ability to write negotiating texts for tenth grade students of SMA Nurul Iman Tanjung Morawa. The population of this study was all students of class X SMA Nurul Iman Tanjung Morawa in the 2020/2021 academic year. The population of this study was all students of class X SMA Nurul Iman Tanjung Morawa in the 2020/2021 academic year which consisted of 10 classes with a total of 132 students. For this study, the sample taken was class X MIA-1, totaling 29 students through random sampling technique. This research uses descriptive analysis method. The data collection technique in this research is documentation. The research instrument used was a negotiating text writing test. The results showed that the ability of class X students of SMA Nurul Iman Tanjung Morawa in writing negotiating texts based on the structural aspect got an average score (93) in the very good category and the linguistic feature aspect got an average score (78.15) in the good category. . Based on the distribution table of the percentage value of the ability to write negotiating texts for class X students of SMA Nurul Iman Tanjung Morawa in; (1) the structural aspect shows the very good category (79.31%), good category (20.69%), quite good category (0%), and poor category (0%). (2) the aspect of linguistic characteristics shows in the very good category (31.04%), good category (51.72%), quite good category (17.24%), and poor category (0%). (3) the aspect of structure and linguistic characteristics shows in the very good category (34.48%), good category (58.62%), quite good category (6.89%), and poor category (0%). Indonesian language teachers can determine students' writing abilities, especially in writing negotiating texts based on structural aspects and aspects of linguistic characteristics. After knowing the students' abilities, the teacher can further improve the effectiveness of learning to write negotiating texts.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the moral values ​​contained in the fable book "Our Taxes". The type of research used is descriptive qualitative. The source of data in this study is the entire text contained in the fable book. In this study, the researcher used Sulistyorini's theory of moral values ​​as the basis for the moral values ​​to be studied. Based on the results of the analysis of moral values ​​in the fable story book "Our Taxes" contains several moral values ​​that deserve to be imitated. The first story with the title "The Bee King and a Spoon of Wisdom" contains obedience, courage, honesty, fairness, keeping promises, being careful in acting, acting, and harmony. The second story with the title “The Dog and the Rabbit” finds obedience, courage, honesty, fairness, wisdom, keeping promises, good character, careful in acting, likes to help, harmony, and likes to give advice. While the third story with the title "Ants and Crickets" was found to contain the values ​​of hard work, discipline, responsibility, independence, cooperation, and help. Thus, the existence of moral values ​​contained in the fable is very useful for readers, especially among children. In addition, the moral values ​​contained in fable stories can also overcome the moral crisis, because children's literature can provide opportunities for children as readers for moral sources.

Abstract

The application of the AP4M model of reading skills was carried out in the Tanah Ombak reading park based on observations and interviews with the culture and learning methods of the Minangkabaau Natural School students as well as students in the Tanah Ombak reading park. The purpose of the study was to describe the reading ability of the Tanah Ombak Reading Community students. The theory used is the theory by Akaaya (2012), Haromi (2014), and Akin (2014). The methods used in this research are qualitative and quantitative methods. The research subjects were 8 students at Tanah Ombak Reading Park which consisted of 3 students in grade 3, 6 students in grade 4, 4 students in grade 5 and 5 students in grade 6. The results of data analysis showed that the average score obtained by grade 3 students as much as 9.50, the average value obtained by grade 4 students is 8.15, the average value obtained by grade 5 students is 7.50, and the average value obtained by grade 6 students is 8.48. reading with the AP4M model, the students of Tanah Ombak Reading Park are able to read well with a score of 8.29 in the very good category

Abstract

This research aims to describe how the character in the main character and also the structure of his personality, especially about character education in the novel by Rusdi Mathari entitled "Feeling Smart, Stupid Only Tak Have" which was analyzed using the literary psychology approach of Sigmund Freud (Id, Ego, Superego), character education itself is the basis for starting a stage of individual learning. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method using a critical discourse analysis approach, which is an approach that leads that knowledge is obtained from social interaction. The data source used is one of the novels by Rusdi Mathari, the data used are the words and sentences used by the author to describe the main character taken in terms of character education. The main character in this novel is an old village resident who is considered by the residents as an insane parent, namely Cak Dlahom, but the assessment of the surrounding residents is different from what the author describes in his writing. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguraikan karakter tokoh utama dan struktur kepribadiannya, khususnya dalam hubungan dengan pendidikan karakter dalam novel karya Rusdi Mathari yang berjudul “Merasa Pintar, Bodoh Saja Tak Punya” yang dianalisis dengan menggunakan pendekatan psikologi sastra Sigmund Freud (Id, Ego, Superego), pendidikan karakter merupakan landasan untuk memulai suatu tahap belajar individu. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif menggunakan pendekatan analisis wacana kritis, yaitu merupakan pendekatan yang mengarah bahwa pengetahuan didapatkan dari interaksi sosial. Sumber data yang digunakan adalah salah satu novel karya Rusdi Mathari, data yang digunakan merupakan kata-kata dan kalimat yang digunakan penulis untuk mendeskripsikan tokoh utama yang diambil dari segi pendidikan karakternya. Tokoh utama dalam novel ini merupakan seorang penduduk kampung tua yang dianggap warga sebagai orangtua kurang waras yaitu Cak Dlahom, akan tetapi penilaian warga sekitarnya berbeda dengan apa yang penulis gambarkan dalam tulisannya.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the effect of Malay animated series on the use of children's language. The data in this study contains the form of children's language use that is influenced by the spectacle of Malay animated series, such as Upin-Ipin, Boboiboy, and other Malay animations. So the effect of watching the Malay animated series caused interference in the use of children's language, namely Malay the Indonesian. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The type of research used is a case study. The data collection technique uses observation techniques, which are to review related children who often watch Malay animated series. Then using the documentation technique related to recording the speech carried out, recording the form of use of Malay into the Indonesian spoken by the child. Data analysis techniques use data reduction techniques, data presentation, and concluding. The source of this research data is children in Sukamanah Village, Sukabumi Regency. The results of this study show the form of language interference in the field of linguistics, namely phonology, morphology, and syntax. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan efek serial animasi Melayu terhadap penggunaan bahasa anak. Data dalam penelitian ini memuat tentang bentuk penggunaan bahasa anak yang dipengaruhi dari tontonan serial animasi Melayu, seperti Upin-Ipin, Boboiboy, dan animasi Melayu lainnya. Sehingga efek dari menonton serial animasi Melayu tersebut mengakibatkan interferensi pada penggunaan bahasa anak, yakni bahasa Melayu ke dalam bahasa Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, yaitu untuk meninjau berkaitan dengan anak-anak yang sering menonton serial animasi Melayu. lalu menggunakan teknik dokumentansi berkaitan dengan merekam tuturan yang dilakukan, mencatat bentuk penggunaan bahasa Melayu ke dalam bahasa Indonesia yang dituturkan anak. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah anak-anak di Desa Sukamanah Kabupaten Sukabumi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bentuk interferensi bahasa pada bidang linguistik, syakni fonologi, morfologi, dan sintaksis.
