Jurnal AL - AZHAR SERI HUMANIORA merupakan jurnal ilmiah yang memuat makalah dan artikel hasil penelitian atau kajian teoristis dalam bidang Humaniora. Kata Al-Azhar berakar dari z-h-r. Verba zahara bermakna to shine, give light, be radiant, to glow, gleam, glare, shine, to blossom, be in bloom (Wehr, 1974:384). Dengan demikian kata Al-Azhar berarti sesuatu yang bersinar, yang memberi cahaya, yang berseri-seri atau yang mekar. Abstract

This research elucidates the drama Under the Power (锦衣之下Jǐnyī zhīxià) (2019), which narrates the journey of the main character Lu Yi (陆译) as an Embroidered-Uniform Guard (锦衣卫Jǐnyīwèi) of the Ming Dynasty (明朝Míng cháo) officiated with eradicating crime in the empire court. In every behavior, Lu Yi always shows his stand that adheres to the Confucian values, namely the Five Cardinal Virtues (五常Wǔ cháng) and the Eight Virtues (八德Bā dé). This research fathoms how far Confucius moral values are reflected in Lu Yi himself. Using the descriptive method and qualitative approach, the writer conducts a literature review on Confucius values and relates them to Lu Yi's character. From the research conducted, it is known that Lu Yi's character is indeed a notice enforcer who upholds the values of Confucius in himself, especially the value of defending truth and justice (义Yì). Abstract

Kampus Mengajar as a part of Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) policy is seen as an effort to advance and promote education quality. This study aims to provide a description of the extent to which the Kampus Mengajar program contributes to the skills of providing counseling and guidance services at the elementary school level. Using descriptive qualitative with purposive sampling to recruit respondents with the criteria of Islamic Counseling Guidance study program students who participate the Kampus Mengajar program batch I and 2 (n = 9). The data analysis technique uses theme analysis. Results found additional skills that respondents acquired during the assignment of the Kampus Mengajar program is communication skills, open learning skills, report cards building skills, observation skills, and increased ability to empathize. The results of the study also show that in practice the Teaching Campus program provides space to practice the skills of implementing guidance and counseling services in primary schools.Keywords - Guidance and counseling, Kampus mengajar, Primary school.

Abstract

Abstract  – The word "anjay" is a multi-situation term, it can be used in a happy atmosphere to anger. The purpose of this study is to find out how Anjay's effect on the psychic condition of Z-generations. The study is a kind of quantitative study using a correlation approach survey method. Z-generations is a research population that is derived from south sulawesi, southeast sulawesi and Java. As many as 100 respondents followed the instruments in charge of questionnaires on Google form to measure whether or not there was an impact between Anjay and his psychic condition. . Based on the value of R2 = 0.019, it was found that the influence of  anjay’s word on the psychological condition of the Z-generation was 1.9%, the rest of the psychological condition was influenced by other causes. Based on the t-test where tcount < ttable which is 1.359 < 1.98447 and F-test where Fcount < Ftable which is 1.847 < 3.94 with a significance value of 0.177 > 0.05 indicates that anjay has no significant effect on psychic conditions. It can be argued that anjay's word was less influential in the psychic condition of Z-generations.Keywords - Anjay, psychological condition, z- generation

Abstract

Early childhood needs to optimize various aspects of their development. One of them is the language aspect, the language skills of children can be seen from the way they communicate with other people. This needs to be supported by its vocabulary. At the age of 3-4 years, the average child knows 800 words, but still speaks in short sentences. If there is something complex to talk about, he will reveal it in two or three sentences. Currently, there are various kinds of game tools that are obtained by children, through educational play tools PEMA (children's play educational board) it is hoped that children can help children in acquiring vocabulary. The skill developed is the concept of printed letters. Children have the opportunity to interact with printed letters. Learn to recognize letters to achieve early reading skills for children. This study uses action research conducted on children aged 3-4 years. This study began by conducting a pre-test for the 5 children. Furthermore, parents document the use of PEMA media. The third is reflection of observation, reflection of documentation is interpreted in order to plan improvements that will be carried out in the next cycle. Activities are carried out repeatedly until the most appropriate one is found for each child. Abstract

The objective of the research is to study the role of field advisory lecturer (FAL) in encouraging the effectiveness of teaching assistance program (TAP). The research conducted by using descriptive qualitative method with 4 FALs who supervised 36 students throughout TAP batch 1 and batch 2 around Jakarta and Tangerang. The research finding shows that (1) FAL take important roles in TAP to coordinate planning, actuating, reporting with ministry of education, provincial education office, school and university to assure the positive impact for each side, and (2)TAP is one of Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology policies to synergize between school and university to accelerate basic education quality which is need comprehensive policy dealing conversion within curriculum of each department and its program continuity. Abstract

This study aims to describe the readiness of students to take part in MBKM, especially the Student Exchange Program (PMMDN) at the Islamic Education, University of Al Azhar Indonesia. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach that is focused on the implementation of the PMMDN program. Data analysis obtained from the Ministry of Education and Culture and the Faculty of Psychology and Education, Al-Azhar University Indonesia survey regarding MBKM were analyzed using descriptive analysis presented narratively. MBKM aims to encourage students to master various sciences and improve skills before entering the working world. In the light of the findings of this study, it can be concluded that the PMMDN program may develop leadership skills and soft skills of students who are able to interact with various backgrounds to increase unity and nationalism; providing learning experiences at other universities through a credit transfer system to strengthen and expand competencies; providing the experience of diversity through the implementation of the Nusantara module. Abstract

Kampus Mengajar Program is one of Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM)'s program which gives university student one semester opportunity in helping elementary and junior high school teachers and head master to hold teaching and learning activity affected by pandemic covid 19. The campus teaching program provides opportunities for PG PAUD students to implement teaching skills as a provision to become teachers that have been obtained in college. The research method used is descriptive with a qualitative approach which aims to analyze the teaching skills possessed by PG PAUD students during the campus teaching program. The results showed that the campus teaching program became a space for PG PAUD students to implement and develop their teaching skills. Three PG PAUD students who participated in the campus teaching program (100%) were placed in grade 1, two students (66.7%) in grade 6 and one student (33.3%) in grade 4. PG PAUD students were skilled in applying various teaching skills such as questioning skills, reinforcement skills, variation skills, explaining skills, opening and closing lessons, small group guiding skills and classroom management skills. However, students need to improve their teaching skills in managing classes and guiding small group discussions. As well as the need for coordination between students and campus teaching partners (schools) regarding cooperation to apply classroom management skills.Keywords – Kampus Mengajar Program, PG PAUD Students, Teaching Skil.

Abstract

This study measures the level of acquired information about MBKM Programs from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology among the students of the English Language and Culture Study Program at the University of Al-Azhar Indonesia. It employed a quantitative method in which data was drawn from a population survey. The population survey was conducted using the Spadadikti questionnaire for data collection. This study looks into particular data in response to question 1, that is to what extent students are aware of Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) policy. The response data were attained on the Likert Scale. The population consisted of students who were registered as active students for the academic year 2015-2021 (first semester, third semester, fifth semester, and seventh semester). The first two semesters were classified as “MBKM non-targeted students” whereas the later semesters were “MBKM-targeted students”. This study hypothesized that MBKM-targeted students would likely be more knowledgeable about MBKM Programs, while it would vice versa for MBKM non-targeted students. The result suggests the level of acquired information about MBKM programs is equally low. In other words, students of English Language and Culture at the University of Al-Azhar Indonesia are not necessarily aware of the programs, regardless of whether they are intended to join them. Abstract

The implementation of the Independent Campus Freedom to Learn program launched by the Ministry of Education and Culture in 2020 caused various reactions from various parties in the higher education sector. Gradually many universities are trying to adapt and encourage students to be able to participate actively in the various types of programs offered. The same reaction was also found among students in the Arabic Language and Culture (BKA) study program at Al Azhar University Indonesia. Various perceptions emerged from students in responding to this MBKM program. This study tries to describe the student's perception, more specifically in terms of three aspects: knowledge of the program, perception of the urgency of the MBKM program, and student interest in participating. The research data was obtained through quantitative research instruments in the form of research questionnaires distributed to all 250 students of the BKA Study Program. After conducting a survey and descriptive statistical analysis it was found that; 1) BKA Study Program students' knowledge of the MBKM program is quite high, 75% of students have received information about the MBKM program with various levels of knowledge, and some are fully aware, know most, and know little, through various sources of information, 2) Student perceptions of the benefits and the urgency of the MBKM program is depicted very positively. Most believe that the program is beneficial for students in developing their competencies and soft skills as a provision to face post-graduate life from university, 3) Student interest and interest is quite high, more than 50% expressed interest in joining the MBKM program, and are even willing to recommend it to colleagues. Abstract

The “Independent Campus, Freedom to Learn” (MBKM) Policy, which was initiated by the Minister of Education, Culture, Research and Technology is an innovative step to improve the quality of human resources to be ready to enter the world of work. This policy gives freedom to students to be able to carry out activities outside their department either at the same university in different department or at other universities or other institutions that collaborate in MBKM activities. This research was conducted using a field survey method, the research aspects including the student’s level of knowledge on the MBKM program, sources of information for the MBKM program, activities in the MBKM program, competency improvement through the MBKM program and others. The object of this research are the students of the Chinese Language and Culture department at the University of Al Azhar Indonesia, discussing the level of student understanding regarding the MBKM policies. The research found that most of the students did not get clear information about the MBKM program. Although all respondents stated that the MBKM program provided good benefits for improving competence and soft skills in preparing life after graduation, but at the implementation stage there were still several obstacles. The findings of the study also provided suggestions for improving the implementation of MBKM activities.Keywords - Competency improvement, MBKM policy, Student understanding
