Abstract

This study aims to be Muhammadiyah assistance in evaluating to what extent the implementation of Al Islam Kemuhammadiyahan within the curriculum as a charity effort of Muhammadiyah Educational Institution, especially STKIP Muhammadiyah Sungai Penuh. This study is a field study because it was conducted in real and based on the factual data in the field. The type of this study is a descriptive-qualitative. Informants in this study are stakeholders, lecturers, and students of STKIP Muhammadiyah Sungai Penuh, who was registered in 2017/2018 academic year. Data collection was collected by using observation, interview, and documentation. Then, the data was analyzed through descriptive analysis by using the inductive method. By finding out to what extent the implementation of those values, the final goal of this study is as a starting point for the college, especially in reform their educational curriculum into the one which internalizes those values in all instructions of each study program.

Abstract

This study aims to see, 1) interpersonal communication in the Padang Education Authority, 2) job satisfaction in the Padang Education Authority, and 3) the relationship of interpersonal communication and job satisfaction of employees in the Padang Education Authority. The population of this study was 103 employees of the Padang City Education Office. The sample chosen was 53 employees determined based on proportional random sampling. Data collection is a questionnaire arranged in the form of a Likert scale. To test the relationship between two variables, we use the Product-moment correlation formula. The results showed that 1) job satisfaction in the Padang City Education Office was in the high category with a percentage of 73.93%. 2) Employee interpersonal communication in Padang City Education Office is in a good category with a percentage of 69.6%, and 3) there is a relationship between interpersonal communication and job satisfaction from gain of correlation tests with r count greater than r table at 2.575> 0.279 significant level 5% at 95% confidence level. Thus, it can be concluded that interpersonal communication has a meaningful relationship with job satisfaction in the Padang education authority. This means that the better the interpersonal communication, the higher the job satisfaction of employees in the Padang education authority and vice versa.

Abstract

This research aims to improve students ‘ learning motivation on Globalization held at class IX. 7 MTs N 1 Bukittinggi through Learning Project-Based Learning model with the method of efficiency of mapping the Mind. This Research Study shaped the action classes that researchers do two cycles, each cycle four times. Each cycle comprises planning, action, execution, and reflection. The subject of research grade IX. 7 years Lessons 2018/2019. The data source through the student and teacher. The technique of collecting data through observation and question form. Data analysis with descriptive with calculated the percentage. Quantitative data used (assessment of learning results) qualitative data (now motivate learning). The results showed the EXECUTION model using the method of Mind efficiency of mapping content globalization class IX. 7 years 2018/2019 lessons can improve student learning motivation on the cycle, I 80% increased to 85% in cycle II. With increasing student learning outcomes learning motivation can also be increased from 50.00% in cycle, I became 83.33% in cycle II.

Abstract

This study was conducted to describe the social support of deaf parents starting from, social support of parents in educating deaf children and the impact of the application of parental social support to deaf children. This research is based on the observation of an 11-year-old child, conducted since September 2018 until January 2019, with some data acquisition since 2014. This research was conducted using a qualitative approach with a case study method. Collecting data through observation, interviews and documentation studies. The purpose of this study was to describe the social support of deaf parents starting from parental social support in educating deaf children and the impact of the application of parental social support to deaf children. The findings in this study contained five forms of parental social support, including information support, emotional, instrumental, social networking, assessment and appreciation for deaf children.

Abstract

Students have a variety of potentials that need to be explored and developed. The process of self-development is a necessity, which the school is an institution that is given the task of these efforts through counselors. However, various obstacles actually arise in the process throughout the range of student development. This is a tough challenge for counselors in alleviating developmental problems and optimizing the abilities and potential of students through counseling services, one of which is group counseling. The Adlerian approach is one approach in group counseling that is popular in practice. In this article, we will discuss the analysis of the contribution of values contained in the Adlerian approach that is implemented in group counseling services in order to optimize students' self-potential.

Abstract

The development of the world is now complex, problems are diverse, including in sports settings. The problem of athletes is more complex, not a few athletes who do not compete because of low self-management, unstable emotional control and even motivation and performance that are not optimal. Not to mention the condition of the relationship between athletes and athletes, athletes with coaches and even family problems that are Carrie away and affect psychological conditions during sparring in the field. The condition requires the existence of a special psychological companion for athletes, this condition makes the background of the need for sports counseling, a sports counselor can accompany the need for special personnel skilled and mastering the psychological concepts of athletes. This has become a new alternative for counselors in performing. Script will present the background of the need for sports counseling services, athlete’s problems, direction of sports counseling services and opportunities and challenges.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of academic stress and cyberloafing to smartphone addiction. For this purposed, we conducted a survey from 225 participants of post-graduate student at Universitas Negeri Jakarta. This study was used Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) to evaluate the structural model. The result showed that stress academic positively significant affected both smartphone addiction and cyberloafing. The effect of cyberloafing positively significant on smartphone addiction. Stress academic and cyberloafing simultaneously had a positive significant effect to smartphone addiction.

Abstract

The rise of coverage of LGBT-Z sexual deviations have led to a polemic in the midst of society. LGBT-Z sexual deviation if not intervened will have an impact on the health, education, social in the community. This condition is caused by various factors, including ignorance of parents, genetics, religion. This phenomenon tends to be even greater in millennial. This type of research is library research that focuses on LGBT-Z sexual deviation behavior. One professional who is considered capable as a solution to the problems that occur in the community is a counselor. Counselors can provide guidance and counseling services that focus on LGBT-Z sexual deviation behavior such as individual counseling, psychological approaches that are needed. It is hoped that the psychological assistance provided by individual counselors will be able to avoid LGBT-Z sexual deviation behavior.

Abstract

The students learning process is necessary in learning and teaching process because the result of the lesson determined by the process that the students got.Recording to this, the researcher was interested in conducting a study about the improvement of the students motivation in learning by using inquiry approach in physic at grade XI MULTIMEDIA term one SMKN 1 Gunung Talang. The method used in this study was decriptive with percent data analysis technique. The results of the study informed: [1].The using of inquiry approach in physic learning could increase students, [2].The motivation implementation and their grade of inquiry approach is one of the solution to overcome to the the low students motivation in learning.

Abstract

Guru BK merupakan seorang pendidik yang ditugaskan untuk memandirikan siswa, mengembangkan potensi diri siswa, dan membantu siswa dalam mengentaskan masalah-masalah yang dialaminya baik di lingkungan sekolah maupun di lingkungan luar sekolah. Seorang guru BK diwajibkan membimbing 150 orang siswa, tetapi kenyataan di lapangan masih banyak guru BK yang membimbing siswa lebih dari beban kerjanya. Hal ini berdampak kepada kondisi guru BK yang rentan mengalami stres dalam melakukan pekerjannya. Dari data awal yang diketahui bahwa guru BK masih mengalami stres dalam bekerja, kondisi ini disebabkan oleh tingginya beban kerja, belum optimalnya pelayanan BK di sekolah, kejenuhan kerja yang dirasakan oleh guru BK, dan kemampuan coping stres guru BK yang belum optimal. Naska ini mencoba untuk memaparkan konsep stres kerja dan aspek yang terkait dengan stres kerja yang dialami oleh guru BK secara umum.
