Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keefektifan dari penggunaan mobile learning Untuk Media Pendukung Pembelajaran Mandiri. Populasi penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas X SMK Negeri 6 Padang pada semester genap. Jumlah peserta didik sebanyak 42 orang. Untuk mengukur keefektifan mobile learning digunakan instrumen berupa tes hasil belajar (posttest) pada kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen. Pembelajaran menggunakan media pembelajaran interaktif mobile learning dilaksanakan dalam enam kali tatap muka dan satu kali pemberian tes akhir (post-test).. Berdasarkan data hasil belajar dari 28 orang siswa yang mengikuti tes setelah mereka menggunakan mobile learning memiliki rata-rata hasil belajar yaitu 78.84, ini termasuk kategori sangat efektif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan efektivitas mobile learning sebagai media pendukung pembelajaran mandiri dibuktikan dari hasil belajar siswa yang mengikuti tes sebelum menggunakan mobile learning dengan setelah menggunakan mobile learning menunjukan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar.

Abstract

Pendidikan Kejuruan merupakan lembaga pendidikan yang fokus mendidik peserta didik agar memiliki tingkat keahlian yang dapat diakui di Dunia Industri. Perkembangan teknologi telah mengubah pola pembelajaran dalam dunia pendidikan terutama dalam penggunaan media pembelajaran seperti penggunaan Media Augmented Reality (AR). Media Augmented Reality memiliki berbagai model untuk setiap kebutuhan, namun secara keseluruhan media ditampilkan dalam bentuk teks, gambar audio pengguna dan objek 3 dimensi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji Validitas dan Respon Pengguna terhadap Media Pembelajaran Augmented Reality di SMK. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan teknik analisis deskriptif dengan menggunakan metode studi literatur. Hasil penelitian berdasarkan studi literatur membuktikan bahwa validitas penggunaan media augmented reality untuk pendidikan kejuruan sebesar 85,29%. Dan hasil penelitian respon pengguna sebesar 83,81%. Berdasarkan pemaparan validitas dan respon pengguna, penggunaan media augmented reality pada pendidikan kejuruan tergolong valid dan efektif..

Abstract

Workshop Teknik Elektro Universitas Negeri Medan (UNIMED) merupakan fasilitas digunakan untuk kegiatan praktikum, proses belajar mengajar dan lain sebagainya. Dari hasil observasi melalui pengukuran pada panel utama menggunakan alat ukur power quality analyzer diperoleh arus harmonik pada orde ke – 3 dan ke – 5 pada fasa S dan fasa T melebihi standar yang ditetapkan oleh IEEE 519 – 2014. Untuk menurunkan arus harmonik diusulkan penggunaan Double Tuned Filter. Dari hasil simulasi diperoleh hasil penurunan arus harmonik pada masing – masing fasa, dimana fasa R orde ke – 3 yang semula sebesar 9,06 % turun menjadi 2,25 % dan orde ke – 5 semula 2,73 % turun menjadi 0,20 %. fasa S orde ke – 3 yang semula sebesar 14,97 % turun menjadi 2,41 % dan orde ke – 5 semula 5,22 % turun menjadi 0,24 %. fasa T orde ke – 3 yang semula sebesar 12,01 % turun menjadi 2,32 %.

Abstract

Kebutuhan listrik di Lahan 200 Desa Simpang Jonder selama ini dipenuhi oleh genset dan solar, hal ini dikarenakan desa belum teraliri listrik PLN. Namun, terjadinya kelangkaan solar yang diakibatkan dari berkurangnya kuota solar di riau pada tahun 2022 serta terjadi kenaikan harga solar mengharuskan desa mencari alternatif untuk mengurangi penggunaan solar. Lahan  200 Desa Simpang Jonder memiliki lahan pohon karet yang cukup luas, sebanding dengan melimpahnya hasil biji karet yang dihasilkan dari lahan tersebut. Melihat peluang melimpahnya biji karet di Lahan 200 Desa Simpang Jonder, maka pemanfaatan biji karet yang tepat dapat menjadi alternatif untuk memenuhi kebutuhan listrik di desa tersebut. Pembuatan biodiesel dari biji karet dapat diproses dengan metode non-katalis “superheated methanol” pada tekanan atmosfir. Penelitian ini bertujuan menghitung potensi biodiesel dari biji karet, menghitung potensi energi daya listrik dan menghitung konsumsi bahan bakar serta biaya konsumsi bahan bakar. Dari penelitian ini didapat biodiesel sebanyak 174,498 L/hari dan penelitian menggunakan bahan bakar campuran biodiesel dengan solar. Energi listrik dan penghematan konsumsi bahan bakar serta penghematan biaya konsumsi bahan bakar  pada B5 = 1.652,78 kWh, 3,75%, B10 = 1.597,94 kWh, 8,60%, B15 = 1.528,73 kWh, 13,27% dan B20 = 1.437,97 kWh, 18,28%. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut B20 dapat dipilih sebagai bahan bakar campuran yang efisien.

Abstract

This study discusses the analysis of the entrepreneurial interest of vocational education students in the field of electric lighting installations. Science competence in Electrical Lighting Installation Engineering owned by vocational education graduates can be one of the basic opportunities for entrepreneurship while still paying attention to the factors that influence it. The factors that influence entrepreneurial interest come from internal and internal factors. This study aims to reveal students’ entrepreneurial interest in Electrical Lighting Installation Engineering at State Vocational High School (SMKN) 1 West Sumatra in terms of internal and external factors. Quantitative research with a descriptive approach is applied to 37 students of class XI and XII, the competency of Electrical Lighting Installation Engineering as a research subject. The questionnaire was used as an instrument for collecting research data which was then processed using the SPSS application to obtain the percentage value of the respondents' achievement for interest in entrepreneurship. The results showed that when viewed from internal and external factors, the percentage of Respondents' Achievement Level (TCR) for entrepreneurial interest was in the high category, and if reviewed separately internal factors affecting entrepreneurial interest were in the high category, while external factors affecting student entrepreneurial interest were enough category. Thus, it can be concluded that the entrepreneurial interest of students in the Electrical Lighting Installation Engineering Skills competence is in the high category and internal factors are factors that have a high influence.

Abstract

The Faculty of Science and Technology, State Islamic University of Sultan Syarif Kasim Riau has a green open space with an area of about 1200m² surrounded by trees. This green open space produces waste of dry leaves and twigs. Based on direct observation of the problems encountered, this dry leaf waste is handled by burning it directly by cleaning workers in the Faculty of Science and Technology. This study aims to determine the potential of dry leaf waste to become bio-briquettes and the potential of bio-briquettes to become electrical energy. In this study using the pyrolysis method using a pyrolysis furnace. The experimental results with a sample of 1 kg of dry leaves produced 14 pieces of biobriquettes weighing 100 grams, and producing a calorific value of 4493.40 cal/gram. If in a day 10 kg of dry leaves produce 140 pieces of biobriquettes weighing 100 grams, and produce a calorific value of 629,020 cal/gram. The potential for fuel power that can be generated is 3.0456 Watt. The potential for electrical energy from biobriquettes, assuming a PLTU efficiency of 25%, is 18.27 kWh per day, and in a month it can produce 548.1 kWh of electricity if the potential for waste is 300 kg collected in 1 month every day. The potential for electrical energy from the utilization of dry leaf waste can be used to supply electricity needs within the Faculty of Science and Technology UIN SUSKA Riau.

Abstract

MSMEs engaged in embroidery, embroidery and clothing craftsmen have limitations in improving the quality of the products produced amidst intense competition with similar products. High quality products follow the wishes of the global market with designs that meet the desires of global market consumers with patterns, colors, aesthetics and high quality material quality that must be met by craftsmen. So far, the quality of the products produced is still the local market standard with low prices because they do not have the ability to produce products with global (international) market quality. The limited ability of partners to produce high-quality products to reach the global market which can be achieved through digital markets must be overcome by conducting training and coaching to partners on production capabilities so that they are able to provide products with timely production in the targeted quantity without neglecting product quality. This PKM service is carried out to solve problems faced by partners in the aspect of developing the quality of embroidery, embroidery and clothing; the problem of product innovation in design adjusting to global market interests with quality products according to global market trends with timely production so as to produce products with the appropriate quality and quantity.

Abstract

The electric power system must be able to provide a continuous supply of electrical energy with a standard amount of voltage and frequency in accordance with applicable regulations and the system must immediately return to normal conditions if the system experiences a disturbance. This tool is used to detect faults and the location of the fuse cut out (FCO). PZEM-004T sensor to read the voltage of each phase. Neo-6M GPS to get the coordinates of the location which is accessed via Google Map, then the Telegram bot sends a message to the feeder status information, the location connected to the Google Map, the transformer address and the voltage value after the disturbance. The average difference between the actual location distance to the location recorded by GPS NEO-6M is 4.10 meters and recorded by GPS Coordinates is 6.90 meters. The average percentage error of voltage values for each phase in the measuring instrument and in the sensor is in the R = 0.62 % phase, S = 8.94 % and T = 8.57 %. The Telegram bot sends a message when the FCO in the S phase is decided, namely the S Phase status is Lost, because the voltage in the S phase decreases from 221.9 V AC to 117.7 V AC, with the average duration of sending Telegram bot messages is 41.3 seconds.

Abstract

This development research aims to produce modules that are constructively oriented in training courses on caring for household electrical equipment, especially electrical installation techniques that are attractive and appropriate for use in learning, and to determine the effectiveness of the module in improving student learning outcomes. The advantages of this constructivism-oriented module are that it gives opportunities to students to be more active and independent in learning and building their knowledge, and can increase students' interest in participating in the learning process. The research and development design (Research and Development / R&D) with the 4D development model consists of 4 main stages, namely, Define, Design , Develop and Disseminate. Based on the findings of this study it was concluded that this module is valid, practical, and effective to be used as a learning medium in MALRT training courses for maintaining household electrical equipment majoring in electrical installation engineering at Vocational School, which can increase student motivation, activity, creativity and understanding so that it can have an impact increasing student learning outcomes. The implication of this research is that the module can provide input to the electrical engineering expertise program to continuously improve student competency.

Abstract

This research discusses the study of renewable energy potential in Palipi village, North Sumatra Province, renewable energy is an option in overcoming the problem of irrigating rice fields in Palipi village in the summer. The use of pumps in irrigation in Palipi Village, North Sumatra province for six hours requires 138,564 watts of electrical energy per day. Solar potential is the most feasible as an option in renewable energy development, through solar power plants. The research method uses a simulation of solar energy potential by determining the number of solar panels used in the electricity generation process. HelioScope was used as an assistive technology tool to find the maximum utilisation of the available space, the influence of shadows on solar panels was also taken into account for the feasibility study conducted. The total electrical energy obtained through PLTS generation in Palipi village is 10,345.5 kWh/year, with the largest loss of 13% influenced by temperature, while the shadow effect contributes to a loss of 0.9% due to the shadow factor of 1 building and an electricity tower pole at the location of the solar panel.
