Abstract

UUDNRI Tahun 1945 menegaskan bahwa Indonesia adalah negara hukum. Salah satu wujudnya yaitu pengaturan muatan PKn dalam UU Sisdiknas sebagai mata kuliah wajib pada setiap jenjang pendidikan. Artikel ditulis dengan tujuan “membentangkan” hasil penelitian kualitatif dengan desain deskriptif tentang profil PKn dalam kurikulum pendidikan Indonesia. Artikel dihasilkan dengan meletakkan studi dokumen sebagai teknik pengumpulan data utama. Dokumen primer yang dianalisis adalah peraturan perundang-undangan yang berlaku hingga akhir 2020 untuk mengkonstruksi profil PKn pada pendidikan dasar dan menengah. PKn dalam K13 menggunakan nomenklatur PPKn. PPKn menggunakan pendekatan education for citizenship dengan kontinum maksimal untuk mengembangkan potensi warga muda. PPKn diajarkan secara tematik terpadu (integrated) pada tingkat SD dan sederajat, dan spada sebagai mata pelajaran tersendiri (separate) tingkat SMP, SMA, SMK dan sederajat. PPKn merupakan program kulikulernya bertujuan untuk mengembangkan kompetensi sikap, pengetahuan, dan keterampilan sebagai dasar penguatan warga muda yang pancasilais, partisipatif, demokratis dan bertanggung jawab dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat, berbangsa, dan bernegara.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan kurikulum PPKn pada kondisi pandemi COVID-19. Adapun metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan data diperoleh dari data primer dan sekunder. Studi dokumen menjadi teknik pengumpulan data utama, selain itu, penelitian ini menggunakan teknik studi literatur. Studi dokumentasi merupakan teknik pengambilan data yang diperoleh dari dokumen. Data yang sudah terkumpul dianalisis secara kualitatif menggunakan model interaktif dan dianalisis kemudian disajikan secara deskriptif, sehingga dihasilkan paparan bersifat deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan kurikulum PPKn dimasa pandemi saat ini memberikan tantangan juga peluang untuk mengembangkan suatu metode dan formula yang tepat dalam proses pembelajaran yang aktif, kreatif dan inovatif. Pembelajaran PPKn kondisi khusus pandemi COVID-19 harus diawali dengan asesmen diagnostik agar teridentifikasi kompetensi, kekuatan, kelemahan peserta didik sehingga pembelajaran PPKn dapat dirancang sesuai dengan kompetensi dan kondisi peserta didik.

Abstract

The development of Industrial Revolution 4.0 has implications for all areas, including education. One of the emerging indicators is the application of the independent learning curriculum. Every human being has the right to learn wherever and whenever this is in accordance with the conceptual application of the curriculum. This research aims to develop an integrated social science learning model between faculties/universities that will be used to succeed in the independent learning curriculum at the Faculty of Social Sciences of Medan State University (FIS Unimed). The research is research and development in the field of education that uses data collection techniques using documentation studies, interviews, and workshops, the data sources used are lecturers and students of FIS Unimed. The research stage refers to the R&D research stage (Gall, Borg, & Gall,) [5], the stages performed include: 1) Research Planning 2) Subject Determination Model 3) Preparing Learning Tools for Model 4 Courses)) Input Course Content into LMS 5) Testing (simulation) and evaluation of Content 6) Follow-up improvements 7) Dissemination. The results of the analysis show that the development of model courses as part of the integrated social science learning model across faculties/universities in preparation for independent learning in FIS Unimed based on 4 criteria for learning models, namely 1)field-based learning in the Anthropology education Study Program 2) practice-based learning in the Geography Education Study Program 3) seminar-based learning in the Historical Education Study Program and 4) attitude-based learning in the Civic Education Study Program is very practical. The average practicality score of this model is based on students 'and lecturers' responses was 85, which categorized as very practical. Thus, the learning model course that has been developed will be used as a prototype for other courses at FIS Unimed in the framework of implementing the curriculum for independent learning in the future.

Abstract

The virtual laboratory is one of the popular trends for implementing remote learning in vocational education during the COVID-19 to Post-COVID-19 pandemic, either as a substitute or as a complement to learning in a Real Laboratory. This study discusses the effectiveness analysis of the virtual laboratory as a practicum learning media to support remote or online learning implementation. The purpose of this study was to analyses the virtual laboratory's effectiveness as a learning media in the learning process of the Power Electronics Practicum in Post-COVID-19. The type of research applied is a Pre-experimental Design with a One-Group Pretest-Posttest design. The Performance Appraisal Rubric is used as an instrument to collect research data. The virtual laboratory's effectiveness is known from the difference analysis of pretest and post-test scores using the Paired Sample T-test. Meanwhile, Cohen's d effect size analysis was used to determine the effect size. The results showed that the virtual laboratory was effectively used as a practicum learning media with a large effect category. Thus, it can be concluded that the virtual laboratory can be an effective choice for implementing practical learning in supporting the implementation of remote learning.

Abstract

This study discusses the analysis of the entrepreneurial interest of vocational education students in the field of electric lighting installations. Science competence in Electrical Lighting Installation Engineering owned by vocational education graduates can be one of the basic opportunities for entrepreneurship while still paying attention to the factors that influence it. The factors that influence entrepreneurial interest come from internal and internal factors. This study aims to reveal students’ entrepreneurial interest in Electrical Lighting Installation Engineering at State Vocational High School (SMKN) 1 West Sumatra in terms of internal and external factors. Quantitative research with a descriptive approach is applied to 37 students of class XI and XII, the competency of Electrical Lighting Installation Engineering as a research subject. The questionnaire was used as an instrument for collecting research data which was then processed using the SPSS application to obtain the percentage value of the respondents' achievement for interest in entrepreneurship. The results showed that when viewed from internal and external factors, the percentage of Respondents' Achievement Level (TCR) for entrepreneurial interest was in the high category, and if reviewed separately internal factors affecting entrepreneurial interest were in the high category, while external factors affecting student entrepreneurial interest were enough category. Thus, it can be concluded that the entrepreneurial interest of students in the Electrical Lighting Installation Engineering Skills competence is in the high category and internal factors are factors that have a high influence.

Abstract

This study discusses efforts to improve the implementation of remote learning that is not optimal through the development of Virtual Learning using the Problem-Based Learning Model for vocational education students in the learning process of Electrical Lighting Installation at Vocational High School (SMKN) 2 Lubuk Basung, Sumatera Barat Province. The emergence of the Covid-19 pandemic demands a rapid change in the implementation of learning from face-to-face learning in the classroom to remote learning. This change requires innovations in implementing learning such as media and learning models to ensure optimal learning implementation even though it is carried out remotely. The 4-D development model (Four-D) is applied in this study as a research product development model consisting of 4 stages: Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The instrument used for data collection in the study is a questionnaire for the validity and practicality assessment instrument. The results showed that the virtual learning developed using the Problem-Based Learning Model was valid to be applied in the learning process. After being tested in the learning process, the Virtual Learning developed has been practically used in the learning process to optimize the implementation of learning and improve student learning outcomes. It can be concluded that the Virtual Learning developed with the Problem-Based Learning Model is valid and practical to use in the learning process to optimize the implementation of electric lighting installation learning for vocational education students.

Abstract

Abstrak Tulisan ini merupakan karya tulis yang dirancang dari suatu gagasan ilmiah tentang inovasi aplikasi MEMPAN (Membumikan Pancasila) berbasis website sebagai ruang edukasi dan aktualisasi Pancasila. Inovasi ini hadir sebagai upaya tim penulis untuk mengatasi berbagai masalah pada kualitas edukasi dan aktualisasi Pancasila yang kurang optimal dilingkungan Universitas Negeri Medan karena masih mengandalkan proses pembelajaran Pancasila berbasis lesson learning saja yaitu pemberian materi dan tugas saja. Hal ini akan berdampak buruk terhadap tingkat kepercayaan generasi muda terhadap Pancasila sebagai ideologi bangsa Indonesia yang bisa menurun. masalah moral dan etika pada generasi muda juga tidak lepas dari rendahnya kepercayaan dan aktualisasi nilai-nilai Pancasila. Selain itu juga menjadi sumber masalah jika kualitas tenaga pendidik masih belum mampu menghadirkan inovasi yang dapat membuat pembelajaran Pancasila lebih menarik dan inovatif. Olehkarenanya, penulis menyimpulkan butuhnya tindakan untuk membumikan Pancasila dikalangan mahasiswa agar mereka tidak kehilangan keyakinan terhadap ideologi Pancasila serta tindakan tersebut harus digagas dalam balutan inovatif yaitu aplikasi website bernama MEMPAN. Membumikan Pancasila melalui inovasi website MEMPAN akan berdampak baik juga terhadap kualitas pendidikan Pancasila yang sinkron dengan upaya pendidikan yang berkelanjutan karena desainnya yang kekinian atau inovatif. Kata Kunci: Membumikan Pancasila, Inovasi, Website.

Abstract

Community service activities carried out by a team from the faculty of social sciences at Universitas Negeri Medan took place at State Vocational High School 2 Tebing Tinggi. Implementation of the Community Partnership Program (hereinafter referred to as PKM) which will be carried out to support efforts to implement creative and fun learning and assist in the "Development of Interactive multimedia-based Learning Media in Online Classroom Management". This is one way to increase the competence of teachers of SMKN 2 Tebing Tinggi in online learning using Powtoon Interactive multimedia-based Learning Media. The targets that have been achieved in this PKM are: 1) Powtoon Interactive multimedia-based Learning Media Products. on online class management at State Vocational High School 2 Tebing Tinggi; 2) The use of Powtoon interactive multimedia-based learning media development in online classroom management at State Vocational High School 2 Tebing Tinggi; 3) Improving the competence of teachers of State Vocational High School 2 Tebing Tinggi in online learning using Powtoon Interactive multimedia-based Learning Media.

Abstract

Artikel menyajikan hasil penelitian yang mengungkap motivasi warga untuk terlibat komunitas rumah belajar. Komunitas rumah belajar dan/atau sejenisnya merupakan fenomena yang masif diberbagai sudut Kota Medan. Artikel ini menyajikan kebaruan kajian kewarganegaraan pada sisi motivasi tindakan kolektif warga tersebut sebagai gerakan kewarganegaraan. Kajian dihasilkan dari hasil penelitian kualitatif dengan desain deskriptif. Penelitian dilakukan pada komunitas rumah belajar dan/atau sejenisnya dalam wilayah administratif Kota Medan. Data dikumpulkan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data kemudian dianalisis dengan mengadopsi model interaktif. Komunitas rumah belajar dibentuk secara swadaya untuk menyediakan akses pendidikan dasar. Keterlibatan warga didasari oleh motivasi aktualisasi diri. Kecenderungan warga untuk memperoleh ruang aktualisasi diri dalam potensinya merupakan keinginan untuk menjadi warga yang lebih dan lebih baik (good citizen) dari sekedar menjadi individu yang baik (good man). Untuk menjadi warga yang mampu terlibat dalam segala berbagai situasi (desirable personal quality). Motivasi aktualisasi diri bertumpu kesadaran terpenuhinya kebutuhan-kebutuhan dasar lainnya. Oleh sebab itu, tidak banyak warga mencurahkan sumberdayanya untuk berpartisipasi dalam gerakan komunitas rumah belajar

Abstract

AbstractThe objective of this study is to ascertain the standards for pedagogical proficiency among civic education teacher in the 21st century, as well as to identify approaches for enhancing their competency. The research method chosen is the Systematic Literature Review (SLR), which uses data from international and national journal articles. The findings indicate that (1) the essential competencies that Civic Education Teachers in the 21st century must possess include life and career skills, encompassing self-regulation, social interaction, and a culture of leadership, productivity, and responsibility; (2) The acquisition of learning and innovation skills, encompassing critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, effective communication, and collaborative engagement in creative endeavors and information sharing; (3) The acquisition of skills in information media and technology, encompassing both information technology and media abilities, is of paramount importance. Teachers must have a comprehensive understanding of information literacy, media literacy, and ICT literacy. Digital pedagogy is a strategy to improve the competence of 21st-century PPKn teachers. Digital pedagogy presents not only digital learning but also digital ethics in utilizing digital resources or learning media.---------------------------------------Abstrak Penelitian menelaah standar kemahiran pedagogi di kalangan guru PPKn pada abad ke-21, serta mengidentifikasi pendekatan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi mereka. Metode penelitian yang dipilih adalah Systematic Literature Review (SLR) dengan sumber data terdiri dari gabungan artikel jurnal internasional dan nasional. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa: (1) kompetensi esensial yang harus dimiliki guru di abad 21 meliputi keterampilan hidup dan karir, meliputi pengaturan diri, interaksi sosial, dan budaya kepemimpinan, produktivitas, dan tanggung jawab, (2) perolehan keterampilan belajar dan inovasi, yang mencakup pemikiran kritis, kemampuan memecahkan masalah, komunikasi efektif, dan keterlibatan kolaboratif dalam upaya kreatif dan berbagi informasi, (3) perolehan keterampilan dalam media dan teknologi informasi, yang mencakup kemampuan teknologi informasi dan media, adalah hal yang sangat penting. Urgen bagi guru untuk memiliki pemahaman komprehensif tentang literasi informasi, literasi media, dan literasi TIK. Pedagogi digital hadir sebagai strategi upaya peningkatan kompetensi guru PPKn abad 21. Pedagogi digital tidak hanya menghadirkan pembelajaran digital, tetapi juga etika digital dalam menamfaatkan sumber daya atau sebagai media pembelajaran digital.
