Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of thus study is to develop learning media in form of e-module. It is research and development which implements ADDIE method. It is conducted on eleventh grade students of SMAN 3 Blitar. The research data are quantitative and qualitative which are collected using documentation, interview, and questionnaire. The data is analyzed using descriptive analysis technique. The conclusion of this study reveals that ADDIE model is utilized to develop mathematics e-module based on problembased learning in the material of a linear programme. It shows that mathematics e-module is created using MIT AI2 Companion. It is statrd ti be very good and appropriate. In the last development, this e-module achieves very good assessment from students, so it needs to be implemented in the material of a linear programme in the future Keywords: e-module, mathematics, problem based learning, a linear programme  Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangan media pembelajaran dalam bentuk e-modul. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan atau Research and Development (R&D). Metode pengembangan yang digunakan adalah metode ADDIE. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 3 Blitar dengan melibatkan siswa kelas XI di SMA Negeri 3 Blitar. Data pada penelitian ini berbentuk kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan teknik dokumentasi, wawancara, dan angket. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah model ADDIE digunakan dalam mengembangkan e-modul matematika berbasis PBL pada materi program linier. Hasil pengembangan menunjukkan bahwa e-modul matematika yang dibuat di software MIT AI2. Companion mendapat penilaian sangat baik dan layak digunakan serta pada akhir pengembangan menunjukkan bahwa e-modul ini mendapat penilaian sangat baik oleh siswa sehingga pada masa mendatang e-modul ini perlu diimplementasikan pada materi program linier. Kata Kunci: e-modul, matematika, PBL, program linier

Abstract

Abstract: One form of citizens' love for their homeland is protecting and caring for the natural environment. The national values of loving the motherland, caring for the environment are carried out from an early age through learning at school. School education is a place to create students to have attitudes and skills in preventing damage to the surrounding environment. The Adiwiyata school program which is integrated into Pkn subjects is expected to be able to increase students' national values. Information sources for school principals, teachers, employees and students. Data was collected through observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. The main research instrument itself. Data analysis techniques by means of data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that the Adiwiyata school program can increase national values. Praxis carried out to foster national values include 1) school policies related to caring for the environment; 2) development of an environment-based curriculum; 3) integration of the environment in all subjects, especially the Pancasila and Citizenship Education subjects; 4) development of facilities and infrastructure related to the environment. The national values that are formed include the value of devotion to God Almighty; unity, solidarity, mutual cooperation, tolerance, humanity, justice and the preservation of environmental functions and natural resources. Keyword: National Values, Adiwiyata School  Abstrak: Salah satu bentuk cinta tanah air warga negara adalah menjaga dan melestarikan lingkungan alam sekitar. Nilai-nilai kebangsaan cinta tanah air, peduli lingkungan dilakukan sejak dini melalui pembelajaran di sekolah. Pendidikan sekolah menjadi tempat untuk menciptakan peserta didik agar memiliki sikap dan ketrampilan dalam mencegah kerusakan lingkungan sekitar. Program sekolah adiwiyata yang diintegrasikan pada mata pelajaran Pkn diharapkan mampu meningkatkan nilai-nilai kebangsaan siswa. Sumber informasi kepala sekolah, guru, karyawan dan siswa. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara secara mendalam dan dokumentasi. Instrumen utama peneliti sendiri. Teknik analisis data dengan cara reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program sekolah adiwiyata dapat meningkatkan nilai kebangsaan. Praksis yang dilakukan untuk menumbuhkan nilai-nilai kebangsaan antara lain 1) kebijakan sekolah terkait peduli lingkungan; 2) pengembangan kurikulum berbasis lingkungan; 3) integrasi tentang lingkungan di semua mata pelajaran khususnya mata pelanjaran Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan; 4) pengembangan sarana dan prasarana terkait lingkungan. Nilai kebangsaan yang terbentuk antara lain nilai ketaqwaan kepada Tuhan YME; persatuan, kesetiakawanan, gotong royong, toleransi, kemanusiaan, keadilan serta kelestarian fungsi lingkungan hidup dan sumberdaya alam.  Kata kunci: Nilai Kebangsaan, Sekolah Adiwiyata

Abstract

Kemampuan berpikir kritis dapat membantu peserta didik untuk mengelola segala informasi dan permasalahan yang didapat dengan membuat keputusan tentang apa yang akan dilakukan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think-Talk-Write (TTW) berbasis kartu bergambar terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis pesserta didik pada mata pelajaran ekonomi kelas X MA Nurul Fata. Peneliti dalam penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode Quasi-eksperimental dan desain Nonequivalent control group pretest-posttest design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini kelas X MA Nurul Fata yang terdiri dari 4 kelas. Dalam teknik penetuan sampel, peneliti menggunakan Purposive Sampling dan diperoleh peserta didik kelas X-C sebagai kelas kontrol dan peserta didik kelas X-D sebagai kelas eksperimen. Teknik penggunaan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tes dengan memberikan post-test ke masing-masing kelas. Analisis data menggunakan uji independent sample t-test menggunakan SPSS for windows release 25. Dilihat pada hasil uji t setelah diberikan perlakuan kemampuan berpikir kritis di kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol dilihat dari kolom t-test for equality variances assumed diketahui nilai Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,005. Karena nilai 0,005 < 0,05 dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think-Talk-Write (TTW) berbasis kartu bergambar terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik pada mat apelajaran ekonomi kelas X MA Nurul Fata. Kata kunci: Model Think-Talk-Write, kartu bergambar, kemampuan berpikir kritis Abstract Critical thinking skill can help students to manage all the information and problems obtained by making decisions about what to do. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of a picture card based Think-Talk-Write (TTW) cooperative learning model on the critical thinkinh skills of students in economics class X MA Nurul Fata. Researches in this study used quantitative research with quasi-experimental methods and nonequivalent control group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study was class X MA Nurul Fata which consisted of 4 classes. In the technique of determining the sample, the researcher used purposive sampling and obtained students in class X-C as the control class and students in class X-D as the experimental class. The data usage technique used in this research is a test by giving a post-test to each class. Data analysis using independent sample t-test using SPSS for windows release 25. Seen on the results of the t-test after being given treatment with critical thinking skills in the experimental class and control class, it can be seen from the column t-test for equality variances assumed that the Sig value is known. (2-tailed) of 0,005. Because the value of 0,005 < 0,05, it can be concluded that there is an effect og the picture card based Think-Talk-Write (TTW) cooperative learning model on the critical thinking skills of students in the class X economics subject at MA Nurul Fata. Keywords: Think-Talk-Write model, picture cards, critical thinking skills

Abstract

This study focuses on how diaspora show the language practices to build identity, and reflect their educational values in the frame of parenting practices which observed in Instagram. Specifically, two Instagram accounts, @bykikidea and @yooliyaeka were examined. The case study designed to explore the phenomenon, by observing these accounts into two main elements: the context and the content of the posts in Instagram. The exploration of content primarily involved identifying visual and descriptive elements in the Instagram posts of both accounts. The context of language practice focused on understanding the preferences and variations in language usage. The study's findings revealed that the language practice content in the @bykikidea and @yooliyaeka accounts represents Javanese-Indonesia, and Korean cultural identity. The descriptive elements of language indicate the use of a mixture of language of the posts. The context of language practice observed through various themes such as food and culinary activities, pregnancy, family clothing style, infant care practices, early educational activities, and celebration of national holidays or religious celebration. Additionally, the findings suggest the emerge of educational values  through the content and the context of post, such as (1) tolerance, (2) respecting others and  (3) critical  thinking. Those values enriched and strengthen their values of parenting practice.

Abstract

As educational leadership increasingly recognizes the pivotal role of coaching competence, this study delves into the nuanced landscape of coaching competencies exhibited by a cohort of 2022 school principal candidates. Amidst the expectations for exemplary instructional leadership, this study reveals a disconcerting reality – school principal candidates exhibit coaching competence only at a fair level, falling short of the desired excellence. Utilizing a descriptive qualitative research design, the authors scrutinized the coaching competence of a diverse cohort of principal candidates through questionnaires and in-depth interviews. Results illuminate specific challenges in coaching, ranging from limited practical application of coaching skills to gaps in mentorship opportunities. Despite the fair level of competence, the study identifies untapped opportunities for improvement, suggesting tailored training and professional development initiatives. The findings not only contribute to the current discourse on coaching competence but also underscore the critical need for targeted interventions to elevate the proficiency of school principal candidates in navigating the complexities of educational leadership.

Abstract

The objective of the present investigation was to examine the pronunciation errors made by students while reading Arabic text. The study aimed to identify the common pronunciation errors and investigate the underlying causes of these mistakes. The research methodology involved administering reading tests and audio recordings to 20 seventh-grade students (10 male and 10 female) from SMPIT Ihsanul Fikri Mungkid. The collected data was then subjected to qualitative analysis. The study's findings revealed that the students made a variety of pronunciation errors while reading Arabic text, including mispronunciations of vocals, consonants, double consonants, and diphthongs. The analysis also identified a few typical causes of these pronunciation errors. The implications of these findings underscore the importance of addressing pronunciation issues in the context of learning Arabic. The research findings can guide teachers in developing targeted interventions to improve students' Arabic pronunciation, thereby enhancing their overall proficiency through frequent practice and specialized interventions.

Abstract

Meaning relations are semantic connections or connections between words, phrases, or concepts that appear in a text. The aim of this research is to describe the types of meaning relaxation in the novel Harga a Confidence by Tere Liye and to integrate it into semantic learning in higher education. This research uses a descriptive method. The data for this research are quotations from sentences in the novel Harga a Confidence by Tere Liye which contain meaning relationships, documentation and interviews. The research procedure uses six steps. The data analysis technique uses six analysis steps. The conclusions of this research are 1) Tere Liye's novel Harga a Confidence found the types of meaning relations of epizeuksis repetition, synonyms, antonyms, equivalence (equivalence of words), and collocations (comparison of words), and 2) forms of integration in semantic learning in higher education can be carried out through 9 steps, namely (1) Identifying the Concept of Meaning Relations, (2) Preparing Learning Modules, (3) Linking it to Semantic Concepts in General, (4) Introduction to Case Studies, (5) Active Learning, (6) Text Analysis Tasks, (7) Reflective Discussion, (8) Presentation of Results, (9) Evaluation.

Abstract

Merdeka Belajar as launched by Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology drive some stakeholders to adapt the learning environment to optimizing the quality of graduate in all level. The aim of this article is to examine entrepreneurship-based curriculum development in vocational high school which is related to the definition of the entrepreneurship curriculum, the basis for its preparation entrepreneurship curriculum, entrepreneurship curriculum development design and entrepreneurial values included in the entrepreneurship curriculum. Entrepreneurship curriculum development is becoming a thing which is important in order to reduce unemployment in the country and increase people's prosperity. Vocational school is a strategic place for developing an entrepreneurship-based curriculum since at this stage, students already have complete thinking abilities so that very potential for them to absorb and apply entrepreneurial values in their learning experiences.

Abstract

This research aimed to describe students’ activities and responses towards applying of Linoit website-based media as a digital portfolio assessment tool in German language learning. This research was held in class XI-2 MIPA SMAN 1 Kedungwaru. This research used a descriptive qualitative approach. The data used were qualitative data supported by quantitative data. Qualitative data in the form of observation results and quantitative data in the form of questionnaire results were then interpreted into qualitative descriptive. The observation results showed that the use of the website-based media Linoit as a means of digital portfolio assessment was in line with the implementation of the learning design (RPP). The students actively engaged in classroom learning and followed the teacher's instructions to document their learning outcomes and upload them to Linoit as evidence of their digital portfolios. In evaluating the portfolios, the teacher wrote the evaluation results with the help of other media, which were then uploaded to Linoit. The students' responses showed that Linoit could be used as a platform for sharing and learning from each other's learning outcomes uploaded on Linoit. Additionally, the students could easily and quickly manage their learning outcomes through the features available on Linoit. However, Linoit had limitations when used in German language learning, as the essential feature of umlaut characters was not available on the platform. Moreover, the small display of Linoit on mobile phones made it difficult for users to operate its features, requiring additional time for adjustment when using Linoit.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the structure of spoken discourse used by teachers and students of Grade 4 MI Najil Ummah Kenep in the learning process in class. The research was carried out at MI Najil Ummah with a total of 9 students as research objects. This study uses a qualitative method that is descriptive. Data is obtained through oral discourse that is used by teachers and students during the learning process in class. The results in this study are (1) learning uses polylogic discourse more often, namely communication is carried out by more than two people with students being more active in learning guided by the teacher in class, (2) sentences in spoken discourse that are used tend to be less structured but can be understood properly. well, (3) learning uses descriptive discourse, namely the teacher can explain the material in detail and according to the students' daily situations.
