Abstract

This research delves into the reasons behind the selection of the Islamic religious education major at Islamic-based universities, as well as the challenges faced when individual interests and chosen majors are not in alignment. The research employs a qualitative questionnaire as the primary data collection method. The objective of this study is to provide in-depth insights into the choice of the Islamic religious education major in the context of Islamic-based higher education institutions and how the challenges faced by students can be overcome to achieve more meaningful education and a more satisfying career in the future. The research findings indicate that not all students choose their majors in line with their interests. Several challenges arise when individuals encounter a gap between their interests and the reality in the academic environment. This research identifies potential solutions to bridge this gap.Top of Form

Abstract

The subject of Tarikh encompasses the study of Islamic history, including narratives of the Prophets and Messengers, the struggles of Prophet Muhammad's da'wah, as well as the presentation of leadership values such as honesty, responsibility, communication skills, and proactiveness. Unfortunately, students often allocate insufficient attention to this subject. Therefore, it is crucial to integrate Tarikh curriculum with more creative teaching methods to enable students to gain a deeper understanding and practical application of these leadership values. This research aims primarily to identify leadership values with prophetic characteristics within the Tarikh subject and how these values are instilled in students through the application of cooperative learning models. The research employs a qualitative approach and is conducted at SD Muhammadiyah Ambarketawang 2. Observation, documentation, and interviews are used to gather data from three sources: the school principal, Islamic studies teacher, and parents. The research findings reveal that prophetic leadership values within the Tarikh subject can be identified from two main sources: the curriculum and the teacher's lesson plans, which encompass the social dimension KI 2. These values are also implicit in the content of the Tarikh curriculum, both explicitly and implicitly stated in textbooks. The identified prophetic leadership values include honesty (shidiq), responsibility (amanah), communication (tabligh), and proactiveness (fathanah). Furthermore, the research demonstrates that teachers have effectively transferred these prophetic leadership values through the implementation of the jigsaw cooperative learning model, proving its efficacy when applied to Tarikh materials.

Abstract

Quality education serves as the primary foundation for producing knowledgeable and competitive generations. The subject of Islamic Cultural History at MTs Negeri 2 Surakarta plays a significant role in introducing students to the rich values, history, and culture of Islam. However, students often face challenges in comprehending complex concepts within this subject. The development of effective learning media becomes a highly relevant solution for enhancing students' learning outcomes. This research aims to develop innovative learning media specifically designed for the Islamic Cultural History subject at MTs Negeri 2 Surakarta. This learning media is designed with consideration for student characteristics, curriculum requirements, and available resources. The research methodology employed is qualitative research with a case study approach. Data collection is conducted through interviews with subject teachers, classroom observations, and media learning trials with students. The research findings indicate that the development of learning media tailored to student characteristics and subject matter can enhance students' interest in learning, their comprehension of concepts, and overall learning outcomes. The interactive learning media developed provide a more engaging and effective learning experience for students. Furthermore, teachers play a crucial role in supporting the effective use of this learning media in day-to-day teaching.

Abstract

This research investigates the problems faced by Islamic cultural history teachers in implementing learning media at MTs Negeri 2 Surakarta. Learning media has an important role in increasing the effectiveness of learning the history of Islamic culture. However, this research identified several problems faced by teachers in the development and use of learning media. This research uses qualitative research methods and relies on sources such as scientific journals, scientific articles, and interviews related to this issue. The results of the research identified several main problems, including a lack of teacher skills in developing and utilizing learning media that is appropriate to learning objectives, a lack of understanding of the various types of media that can be used, limited knowledge about the use of technology in learning, and a lack of creativity and innovation in the use of media for learning. learning the history of Islamic culture.This study provides an important understanding of the role of learning media in learning the history of Islamic culture and proposes solutions to overcome the problems identified. Solutions include teacher training and development, increased creativity and innovation, better resources and references, more effective use of technology, mentoring, collaboration, evaluation, and feedback. By implementing these steps, it is hoped that Islamic cultural history teachers can improve the quality of their learning through the use of more effective learning media.

Abstract

Deviance and resistance are forms of expression that children are susceptible to experiencing among friends, family and society in general. This happens if preventive and corrective measures are not taken early. Therefore, to overcome this problem, we need to take steps to understand the concepts of child care contained in the Al-Quran. Because, the Qur'an comprehensively explains the steps and ways to raise children successfully. Producing a generation of Rabbani who excel in world-class competitions, as the Qur'an calls it ``Qurrata Ayun (calming the offspring),'' will encourage students to develop their potential and talents, this can be achieved through education that provides maximum opportunities to achieve this goal. The Qur'an is a source of Islamic teachings and expresses many ideas about ideal education. Method: This article uses library research methods. Results: The results for this article produce a theory about educating children according to the Qur’an.

Abstract

Character education in the world of education is very important in measuring the moral development of students in school. This is a provision for the future when living in a community environment. Character education begins with the way of thinking and behaving that each individual has within the scope of his life as values ​​in thinking and behavior that encourage individuals to have an attitude of responsibility for what they have done. The aim is to be able to bring about changes in the behavior of quality students and be able to achieve their goals in the learning process. Apart from that, students can be pioneers in implementing good character so that other friends can emulate them. It is very important to do this every day with routine and sincerity so that it becomes a good habit. This type of research is qualitative research. Qualitative research is research that explains phenomena or symptoms in detail and provides responses to research subjects. The results of this research explain that character education implemented in the independent curriculum education unit has been determined in the Pancasia Student Profile which includes having faith and devotion to God Almighty, global diversity, mutual cooperation, independence, critical reasoning and creativity. So teachers of Islamic Religious Education and Character Education subjects must provide a form of character education in PAI lessons to achieve success in the learning process. These forms are discipline, devotion, honesty, self-awareness, responsibility and empathy. Then, there are two steps that must be used to achieve success in achieving character education properly and correctly as an effort to form the morality of wise and wise students. These steps take the form of habituation and supervision.

Abstract

This research uses the literature study method by collecting data from writings (literacy) that have a connection with the topic discussed, namely Islamic Education in the era of the industrial revolution 5.0 This research aims to describe how the concept of prophetic education on the teacher's personality in the era of the industrial revolution 5.0. Prophetic education is a process in which prophetic values such as sincerity, honesty, consistency, justice, and humility are instilled in humans. Through learning that focuses on moral values, learners learn to identify the difference between good and bad values, hoping to improve their quality of life. The prophetic concept in teacher personality becomes a relevant and significant aspect that is expected to provide a holistic, moral, and spiritual view in guiding learners. The results of this study show that if educators can practice the exemplary qualities of the Prophet in learning activities and in everyday life, education in Indonesia will be more qualified, moral, and competent.

Abstract

The study of the Caliphate in the Qur'anic Text and the Historical Context of Islam is always interesting to discuss today. Both from a historical perspective, Islamic politics and even interpretation of the Koran. In the perspective of the Qur'an, the State as an institution of power is needed by Islam as an effective instrument to realize its teachings in a historical context to ensure the continuity of religion and the benefit of the world (its people). Therefore, the author reviews the Khilafah verses in the Qur'an contained in Surah Al-Baqarah verse 30, Al-A'raf verse 69, an-Naml verse 62. This effort needs to be made to find explanations for several expert. This research uses a descriptive analysis approach, including library research. So that we get the results of four political principles, structure and the system of the Khilafah State in Islam.

Abstract

To improve the quality of education in Indonesia, educational institutions are starting to integrate learning with habituation. This research aims to describe implementing a religious-based habituation program in the context of cultivating character at SMP N 2 Teras. This type of research is descriptive qualitative with an interview approach to Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers. The research results show that character cultivation can be done through habituation activities. The habituation activities themselves include daily, weekly, and annual religious habituation activities. (1) Daily habituation activities include praying before starting learning, and midday prayer in congregation. (2) Weekly activities include familiarization with Al-Qur'an literacy activities and (3) Annual activities to commemorate Islamic holidays. Through these activities, characters can be instilled, including being friendly and communicative, disciplined and punctual, highly curious, honest, and always conveying things according to the facts. The main aim of holding religious habituation activities is to form a good character or person or in other words have commendable morals.

Abstract

Education is a very important medium in developing society, so that it has competence for the nation in this modern era. The purpose of this research is to determine the planning, implementation, application and evaluation of learning outcomes at SMP Muhammadiyah 57 Medan. This research uses qualitative research methods with the aim of collecting data and information according to what is available in the field in order to find out how the system is used in managing learning media in the school. This research involved teachers and 40 students from SMP Muhammadiyah 57 Medan. In searching for information using observation and interviews, while in testing the validity of the data researchers use triangulation, namely using sources, methods and time. The learning media applied shows that the results obtained can facilitate the learning process and have met good criteria and achievements in the form of increasing student motivation, maintaining interaction between teachers and students, as well as more effective use of time.
