Abstract

This research aims to describe the influence model of discovery learning by using audiovisual media the skills of news writing. The type of this research is quantitative research done using experimental design. The results of this research are three: (1) news writing skills before using discovery learning model by using audiovisual media are in qualifying Enough (60,76), (2) news writing skills after using discovery learning model by using audiovisual media are in qualification good (80,03), and (3) news writing skills class VIII SMP Negeri 11 Padang after using the model of discovery learning by using audiovisual media better than before using the model of discovery learning by audiovisual media. Kata Kunci: pengaruh, discovery learning, audiovisual, berita

Abstract

ABSTRACT This article was at revealing the contribution the students’ reading appreciative folklore to the skills of reproducing folklore in class X SMA Negeri 1 Batipuh Tanah Datar. The data of the research were the result of the test on reading appreciative folklore and the skills of reproducing folklore. The data were gotten through an objective test intended to measure the student’s reading appreciative folklore and a performance test intended to measure the students skills of reproducing folklore. Based on the research findings and discussions, three conclusions were drawn. First, reading appreciative folklore of the students’ in class X SMA Negeri 1 Batipuh Tanah Datar was in more than adequate category (82,56). Second, the skills of reproducing folklore of students’ in class X SMA Negeri 1 Batipuh Tanah Datar was in more than adequate category (79,37). Third, there was a significant contribution between the students’ reading appreciative folklore with the skills of reproducing folklore in class X SMA Negeri 1 Batipuh Tanah Datar in which the significance level 95% with the degrees of freedom n-1 (dk = n-1). Based on hypothesis test-t was accepted because tarithmetic > ttable, is 2,14 >1,68. Kata kunci: kontribusi, keterampilan, membaca apresiatif, menulis, cerita rakyat

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research is motivated by the problems in writing description texts of seventh grade students at SMPN 11 Padang. This type of research is qualitative research using descriptive methods. The data from this study is the use of diction in the description text of SMPN 11 Padang students. The data sources used in this study are the sentences in the description text written by seventh grade students of SMPN 11 Padang. The researcher only discussed and examined 30 description text writtings written by seventh grade students of SMPN 11 Padang. Based on the results of the study, the following points can be concluded. First, the description text of class VII of SMPN 11 Padang in the use of diction is more dominant having accurary, precision, and harmony in word selection. This can be proven from 30 student description texts consisting of 96 paragraphs, 332 sentences, and 3,567 dictionaries. There are 3.126 accurary in word selection, 3,507 precision in word selection, and 3,494 harmony in word selection. Second, from the student’s description text, it can be seen that there are still students who don’t understand about the use of diction. It can be seen from 3,567 diction used, there are still innaccuracies in the diction as much as 441 words, the accuracy of diction is 60 words, and the incompatibility of diction is 73 words. Third, students still don’t understand the use of spelling in accordance with the Indonesian spelling rules.  Kata kunci : Kualitatif, Menulis, Teks Deskripsi, Diksi

Abstract

ABSTRACT This article is written to discuss the results of research on the contribution of listening skills rhyme to rhyme writing skills of students of class VII SMPN 2 Lubuk Alung. This research data in the form of score results rhymes listening skills and writing skills scores results rhymes. The data was obtained through two types of test, which is an objective test to measure listening skills rhymes and performance tests to measure the skills of writing rhymes. This research is a quantitative correlation method. The results of this research are three: (1) listening skills rhyme VII SMPN 2 Lubuk Alung currently on qualifications Good (B) with an average value of 77.28, (2) the skill of writing rhymes seventh grade students of SMPN 2 Lubuk Alung located the qualification Good (B) with an average value of 77.27, and (3) listening skills contribute to the writing skills rhyme rhyme by 89.5% and the remaining 10.5% is influenced by other factors in this study. Kata kunci: kontribusi, menyimak, menulis, pantun

Abstract

                                                     ABSTRACTThis article was written to describe the relationship of listening skill of observation report texts to the skill of writing the text of the result of observation of the seventh grade students of SMK Negeri 3 Padang. This research is a quantitative research with descriptive method. The sample in this study amounted to 30 people. The data of this research is score of skill test result listening the observation report text. Based on data analysis and discussion, the following three things are obtained. First, the skill of writing the text of the result of observation of the seventh grade students of SMK Negeri 3 Padang is in good qualification (65,56). Second, the skill of listeningto the text of the result of observation of the seventh grade students of SMK Negeri 3 Padang is in good qualification (79,44).Kata kunci: hubungan, menyimak, menulis, teks laporan hasil observasi

Abstract

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to describe the effect of the use of problem based learning models aided media beamed images to text short story writing skills of students of class VII SMP Negeri 5 Kota Pariaman. This research data is the result of the test scores of text short story writing skills using problem based learning models aided media beamed images. Data were collected through performance tests. The results of this study is there is influence-aided model of problem based learning media beamed images to text short story writing skills of students of class VII SMP Negeri 5 Kota Pariaman at significant level of 95% with degrees of freedom (n1 + n2) -2, which thitung>ttabel (7, 01> 1.68). H0and H1 accepted because the hypothesis testing results prove that thitung greater than ttabel. Kata kunci: Pengaruh, model PBL, gambar berseri, menulis, cerpen

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is to describe 1) the achievement of text-based Indonesian learning planning in Gunung Tuleh 1 Public Middle School, Mount Tuleh 2 Public Middle School, and Mount Tuleh 3 Public Middle School, 2) the achievement of text-based Indonesian language learning at Mount Tuleh 1 Public Middle School, Gunung Tuleh 2 Public Middle School 2, and Mount Tuleh 3 Public Middle School, and 3) achievement of a text-based assessment of Indonesian learning at Mount Tuleh 1 Public Middle School, Mount Tuleh 2 Public Middle School, and Mount Tuleh 3 Public Middle School. This type of research is qualitative research with descriptive methods. The data in this study are the results of data collection by utilizing the observation, interview, and documentation study guidelines. The techniques used in research are observation, interviews, and documentation. Based on the findings of the researcher and discussion, three things can be concluded. 1) Overall aspects of learning planning have been made well by the Indonesian language teacher Gunung Tuleh Public Middle School in accordance with the syllabus and in accordance with Annex IV of the Minister of Education and Culture Regulation No. 81A of 2013. 2) Overall aspects of the implementation of learning that have been made well by the Indonesian language teacher Gunung Tuleh Public Middle School are mostly in accordance with the four stages of text-based learning. 3) Overall aspects of assessment of learning that have been made well by Indonesian language teachers Gunung Tuleh Public Middle School is mostly in accordance with authentic assessment aspects.  Kata kunci: implementasi, pembelajaran, berbasis teks

Abstract

This study has thraee objectives as follows: (1) Describe the skill of writing short story text of class XI students of SMA Negeri 7 Padang before using the mind mapping technique. (2) describe the skills of writing short story text of class XI students of SMA Negeri 7 Padang after using the mind mapping technique (3) describe the influence of mind mapping technique on the skill of writing short story text of class XI students of SMA Negeri 7 Padang.This research type is quantitative research with experiment method. The design of this study used a single subject group. The population in this study is the students of class XI SMA Negeri 7 Padang registered in the year 2016-2017 which amounted to 128 people. The sample of this research is the students of class XI of SMA Negeri 7 Padang determined by using technique with certain consideration (purposive sampling). Abstract

ABSTRACT There are four purposes of the act of saying Najwa Shihab in this research. First, describe the act of speech illocution. Second, describe the strategy of speech acts. And third, describes the principle of politeness. This research type is qualitative research by using descriptive method. The data of this research is Najwa Shihab's speech which is in the form of words in Mata Najwa Speech title in the 100-day Anies-Sandi episode. The instrument is the researcher himself. Data collection techniques there are three. First, the researchers downloaded the first Mata Najwa video titles in the 100-day Anies-Sandi episode in the Official Najwa Shihab account on youtube.com. Secondly, Najwa Shihab's speech data is transcribed. And thirdly, the researcher performs inventory of data. The next step is to analyze the research data through the following techniques. First, classify the data based on politeness. Second, to analyze the data obtained.
