Abstract

The purpose of this study were (1) to describe the skills of writing the text of the procedures of the students of class VII of SMP Negeri 12 Padang without using the audiovisual media aided discovery learning model. (2) to describe the skills of writing the text of the procedure of class VII students of SMP Negeri 12 Padang by using discovery learning model audiovisual media. (3) to analyze the effect of audiovisual media aided discovery learning model to the writing skills skill of class VII students of SMP Negeri 12 Padang. Abstract

ABSTRACT There are objectives of this research. First, describing the control of vocabulary environment area at students grade VIII SMP Negeri 22 Padang. Second, describing the writing skill of news text at student grade VIII SMP Negeri 22 Padang. Third, describing the relation vocabulary environment area with the skill in writing news text at student grade VIII SMP Negeri 22 Padang. This is a quantitative research with descriptive method and using correlational research design. Population and sample of this research are VIII th grade student of SMP Negeri 22 Padang consist of 142 students and 36 sample students. This research use Simple random Sampling technique. This experiment consists of two variables: vocabulary as the independent variable (X) and the writing skills of news text as a dependent variable (Y). Data research was score on result of control vocabulary test and score on writing skills of news text. Data that has been collected were analyzed with indicator to get score and students value. The research instrument is an objective test to meassure vocabulary mastery and test to measure the performance of the writing skills of news text. Based of result data analyzed and explanation, were concluded 3 case. First, control of vocabulary on environment area students grade at VIII SMP Negeri 22 Padang was on good qualification (77,43). Second, writing skills of news text at student grade VIII SMP Negeri 22 padang was on good qualification (79,01). Third, control vocabulary on environment area corresponded with writing skills news text at students grade SMP Negeri 22 Padang. Nevertheless, for the writing skills news text were needed control of vocabulary on environment area. Kata Kunci : hubungan, penguasaan, berita, menulis

Abstract

ABSTRACT This article has written the contribution of reading comprehension ability of short story text toward the students’ writing short story text ability at XI class of SMAN 7 Padang. This research is quantitative research using the descriptive method and the contribution research design. The research data is the test result score of reading short story text ability and the test result score of writing short story text ability. The data has obtained through two types of test that are the objective test which uses yo measure the writing ability of short story text. Based on the result of data analysis and the discussion, the researcher concludes the three things follow; first, the average score of the student’ reading comprehension ability of short story text at XI class of SMAN 7 Padang is in the good qualification (78,29). Second, the average score of the student’ writing ability of short story text at XI class of SMAN 7 Padang is in the good qualification (75,89). Third, there are the significant contributions between the reading comprehension ability of short story text toward the students writing ability of story text at XI class of SMAN 7 padang as much as 70,56%.   Kata Kunci: kontribusi, keterampilan, membaca pemahaman, menulis, teks cerpen

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this research is to discribe the using of preposition and conjunction in the expotition text as class VII at SMP Negeri 2 Bukittinggi. The type of this research is qualitative research with descriptive method. The result of this research is found that the using of preposition that is states of meaning of whex a place, direction from, purpose direction, comparison, subject, and restriction. The conjunction that is which used are intra-sentence conjunction and antar-sntence conjunction. The student still can not using preposition and conjunction correctly. Kata kunci : kata tugas, preposisi, konjungtor

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this reseach is to explain the effect of discovery learning through audiovisual media toward writing skill on biographical text for ten grade of SMA Negeri 12 Padang students. This research used quantitative method which usedone group pretest and posttest  design. The population of this reseach was the ten grade students of SMA Negeri 12 Padang. There was 325 population but there was only class to be the sample. It was class X IPA 4 whivh consisted of 30 students that choosen by using purposive random sampling technique. The data of this research was the score of the result of students’ writing skill in biographical text before and after using discovery learning model throught audiovisual media. There are three result of this research. First, the students’ writing skill in biographical text before using discovery learning through audiovisual media was 53.65. Second, the students’writing skill biographical text after using discovery learning through audiovisual media was 80,11. Third, based on the t-test alternative hypothesis (H1) is accepted on the significant degree 95% and degree (dk) = n-1 tcount> ttable (1,75>1,70). Kata kunci: discovery learning, media audiovisual, keterampilan menulis teks biografi

Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this study is to describe the realization of the continuity of the educational status of Indonesian Language student speech is State University of Padang in interviews for talk show type of serious discussion. This type of research is qualitative research using descriptive method. The purpose of the descriptive is to describe, describe or depict a systematic, factual, and accurate about the facts, properties, as well as the relationship of the phenomena investigated. This research data is a fact of learning skills for survival in the realization of interviews talk show type of serious discussion and speech in the transcript of the interview performance containing acts of both direct delivered the interviewer as a student of Indonesian Language Education Status. The results of the research there is realization of the continuity of students ' skill in speech taped as much as 92.33%, with the imperative mood-imperatives as much as 3 speech by 0.74%, percentage of forms-mode interrogative-interrogative as much as 297 speech with 73.52% percentage, and declarative mode-form declarative as much as 73 speech with percentage of 18.07%. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the realization of the continuity of the educational status of Indonesian Language student speech is State University of Padang in skill type talk show taped for serious discussion already realized with either. Kata kunci: Relisasi, Tindak Tutur Langsung, Keterampilan Berwawancara, Gelar Wicara  Tipe                  Serious Discussion

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this research is describe the shape and strategy in activities of the discussion in class VIII SMP Negeri 3 Padang. This type of research is a qualitative method descriptive. Data in this study is the shape and strategy of said expresive of students is a discussion activity. Based on the findings of research, we can conclude things here. There are six of the said thisplays used students in the discussion, which is say thank you, to say i am sorry, praising, criticizing, angry and complaining. The six of the said expressive was told by using four strategies are recalled, namely speak frankly without a word, speak frankly with a word modesty of the positive, speak frankly with further good manners and speak vaguely in the discussion. Abstract

The purposes of study were to  (1) describe the forms of speech acts of illocution, (2) to describe the function of speech acts of illocution, and (3) to describe the narrative strategy used in the Summary Antim of Youth Teens of 2015. This type of research is qualitative by using descriptive method. The result of the research shows (1) The form of the act of speech illocution found that is representative, expressive directive, competetive declaration, convivial kolabotatif and conflict (3) strategy found that consist of speech act strategy speak frankly without without preamble tend to be used in context of utterance which is spoken by persons of equal standing and age. A straightforward, no-nonsense strategy of positive politeness tends to be used in the context of the speech that a younger character tells a younger character. The strategy of telling frankly without preamble to speak negatively tended to be told by an older figure to a younger character, already familiar in public. ABSTRACT This research aims to describe the influence techniques modeling assist media picture the skills of essay writing description class X SMK Pembina Bangsa Bukittinggi. The type of this research is quantitative research done using experimental design.
