Abstract

This article aims to describe the level of writing skills text procedures grade VII SMP Negeri 1 Pariaman. Type of this research is quantitative research with experimental methods. The results of the research there are three as follows. First, writing skills text procedures grade VII. 2 SMP Negeri 1 Pariaman before using the techniques resembled audiovisual media-assisted model is at a sufficient qualification (C) with an average value of 63.02. Second, the skills of writing text procedures grade VII. 2 SMP Negeri 1 Pariaman after using the techniques resembled audiovisual media-assisted models are on good qualifications (B) with an average value of 84.55. Third, based on the t-test, it was concluded that there is a significant influence in the use of techniques of audiovisual media-assisted models resembled towards writing skills text procedures grade VII SMP Negeri 1 thitung > ttabel because Pariaman (3.810 > 1.67). Kata Kunci: Pengaruh, Teknik Tiru Model, Media Audiovisual

Abstract

This study aims to describe the type and function of the language style contained in the novel Jejak Langkah by Prameodya Ananta Toer. This research is a type of qualitative research using descriptive method. The style of language described there are two groups, namely rhetorical style and figurative style of language. Three types of data contained in this research, the style of rhetorical language, figurative language style and language style functions in the novel Jejak Langkah by Pramoedya Ananta Toer. Data is collected by reading the novel Jejak Langkah repeatedly, identifying, classifying and inventorying the language styles contained in the novel Footsteps. The findings of the research, in Pramoedya Ananta Toer's Jejak Langkah novel, found 602 styles of language as well as the language styles contained in the novel Tramps of Pramoedya Ananta Toer found in five types of fungsi style.Kata kunci: gaya bahasa, novel

Abstract

The purpose of this study is (1) to determine the level of skill of writing poetry text of grade VIII of SMP Negeri 31 Padang before using  problem based learning model with audiovisual media. (2) to determine the level of  writing’s skill on poetry text of  grade VIII  of  SMP Negeri 31 Padang after using  problem based learning model with audiovisual media. (3) analyze the effect application problem based learning model with audiovisual media assisted to the skill of writing poetry text in grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 31 Padang. Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to (1) describe the process of developing LKS with copy the master technique for learning to write valid exposition text, (2) practical  and (3) effective. The development mode used is 4-D model consisting of 4 stages, namely define, design, development . This development process produces products in the form of LKS with copy the master technique for expository, valid, and effective expository writing material.The results of this study indicate that the resulting LKS categorized as valid, effective and practical. It is seen based on the value of validity, practicality and effectiveness of LKS. The overall LKS validity score is 77.15%, the average of practicality by teachers is 85% and the student is 83.33%) and effective.Based on the calculation with Likert formula obtained 85.25% results so that the use of LKS model with copy the master technique on writing material exposition effectively. Kata kunci: pengembangan , LKS, menulis teks eksposisi, teknik copy the master, validitas, efektivitas, praktikalitas

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this research there are three. First, it describes the skills of reading comprehension text news grade VIII SMP Negeri Padang 18. Second, the governing text news writing skills of students of class VIII SMP Negeri Padang 18. Third, to analyze the correlation between the skills of reading comprehension texts with news writing skills text news grade VIII SMP Negeri Padang 18. Type of this research is a descriptive method quantitative research. The research design used was the korelasional relationship of two variables. The population of this research grade VIII SMP Negeri Padang 18 listed on the 2018/2019 school year with a total of 168 students scattered in five classes. The sample in this study amounted to 40 people. Sample taken using a simple random technique with a precision of 15% using simple random sampling. Research instrument this is a test performance, namely, test write text news and objective tests the skills of reading comprehension text news. Based on the data analysis and discussion, obtained three of the following. First, the skills of reading comprehension text news grade VIII SMP Negeri Padang is at 18 qualifying well. It is inferred based on the average count of 82.56. Secondly, the text of the news writing skills of students of class VIII SMP Negeri 18 are on good qualification. This can be seen from the average earnings to calculate a test write text news of 79.17. Third, there is a significant relationship between the relationship skills reading comprehension texts with news writing skills text news have a relationship on a significant level 95% with dk = n-1. Based on test-t accepted hypothesis, because thitung > t table i.e. 2,509 > 1.68. Kata kunci: Membaca Pemahaman, Teks Berita

Abstract

ABSTRACT The article was written for show the effectiveness of sentences in biography text on students at eight grade SMPN 5 Bukittinggi. The research is qualitative by using descriptive method. Based on the analysis of the data and the discussion, there are three conclusions. First, the uneffectiveness of the sentences based on structure has not subject and the sentences has not adverb. Second, the uneffetiveness of sentences based on word selection has three aspect, there are (1) the word is unmatch (2) The word is not standard and (3) the word is wastful. Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this research is four, that is describing the process of implementation of text based learning in stage (1) the preparation of context, (2) modeling, (3) making text together, (4) making the text independently in SMA Negeri Padaang. This type of research using qualitative method. Techmique of data collecting is dones by observation, interview, and documentation study. The result of the research shows that teacher in SMA Negeri Padanghave implemented four aspects of text based learning that is in context complilation phase, the teacher ensures the students have understood the meaning of text, the type of text, the form of text, the purpose of the text, and language of the text. At the modeling stage, teacher ensure students are able to analyze the type of the text, text structure, text form, text purpose, and textual language. At the joint text making stage, the teacher ensures that student have been able to organize the text together. At the stage of making the text independently, the teacher ansures the student is able to produce new texts by the students independently. Kata kunci : teks, konteks, pemodelan, bersama, mandiri

Abstract

ABSTRACT This The purpose of this research is (1) to describe of the said Indonesian language teacher in the process of teaching and learning in SMPN 1 Padang Ganting, (2) to describe the principle of good manners speaking Indonesian language teacher in the process of teaching and learning in SMPN 1 Padang Ganting, and (3) to describe the context of good manners speaking Indonesian language teacher in the process of teaching and learning in SMPN 1 Padang Ganting. This type of research is a qualitative with descriptive method. The technique used a records. The findings of this research is (1) there are five types of acts said that teachers use in the process of teaching and learning, that is (a) directive, (b) representative, (c) declaration, (d) expressive, and (e) commisive. (2) There are four kind of maxims good manners used, that is (a) wisdom, (b) the deal, (c) praise, and (d) humility. Abstract

The purposes of this study were to (1) describe the effectiveness of the sentence in terms of the accuracy of reasoning categories (a) reasonableness and (b) unity of ideas and (2) to describe the effectiveness of the sentence in terms of language accuracy (a) grammatical accuracy, (b) word precision, and (c) accuracy of spelling in the exposition of students of class VIII 2 SMP Negeri 9 Padang. The method of this research is qualitative. The result of this research is from 167 sentences there are 3 effective sentences and 164 sentences is not effective. In terms of accuracy of reasoning there is no mistake in the student essay. In terms of language accuracy found 164 sentence errors. Thus, the students of grade VIII SMP Negeri 9 Padang have not been able to use sentences effectively. Kata kunci: keefektifan kalimat, karangan eksposisi

Abstract

This study has three objectives as follows. (1) Describing the level of writing fable text to the grade of VII SMP Negeri Padang 16 before using the model of discovery learning. (2)  Describing the level of writing fable text to the grade of VII SMP Negeri Padang 16 after using the model of discovery learning. (3) Describing the influence of discovery learning model to write fable text to grade VII SMP Negeri Padang 16 after using the model of discovery learning.
