Abstract

ABSTRACT This article was to (1) describe the level of reading comprehension skills of the text description of the seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 27 Padang (2) to describe the skill level of writing the description text of the seventh grade students of SMP Negri 27 Padang; and (3) to describe the correlational of reading comprehension skills of the description text skill of writing text description of student of class VII of SMP Negeri 27 Padang. Theories used in this research are skill, reading comprehension of description text, writing skill of description, correlation skill reading comprehension text description to skill of writing text description of student class VII SMP Negeri 27 Padang.This research type is quantitative research by using descriptive method. An escriptive method with correlation approach. The population in this study is the students of class VII of SMP Negeri 27 Padang registered in the academic year 2017/2018 which amounted to 210 students. The sample of this study amounted to 40 students. The sampling of this research was done by propotional random sampling technique. The data of this research is score of skill reading comprehension result in the form of objective test and score of skill writing skill in the form of performance test of class VII student of SMP Negeri 27 Padang.Based on the research result. Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this research there are three. First, describe the environmental field vocabulary mastery of grade VIII SMP Negeri Padang 18. Second, it describes the writing skills text beritasiswa class VIII SMP Negeri Padang 18. Third, vocabulary mastery correlation describes the environmental field with the text of the news writing skills of students of class VIII SMP Negeri Padang 18. The theory associated with this research is a theory about the writing skills (a), (b) the text of the news, and (c) mastery of the vocabulary of the field of the environment.  This research type is quantitative descriptive method. The design used is a korelasional design. Population research is grade VIII SMP Negeri Padang 18 listed on the school year 2018/2019, namely 362 students. The research sample is determined by proportional random sampling of 20% of the population, namely 72 students. Research data in the form of score vocabulary mastery test results of the environmental field and score the writing skills test result text news. The data obtained through two types of tests i.e. objective tests to measure mastery of the vocabulary of the field of environmental and performance tests for measuring writing skills text news. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that vocabulary knowledge is correlated with writing skills text news. The better knowledge of vocabulary will be the better text news writing skills anyway. Thus, for the skilled writing text news grade VIII SMP Negeri Padang, 18 required mastery of the vocabulary. Kata kunci: Korelasi, Kosakata, Menulis, Teks Berita

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of the research is describe the influence of cooperative model of TPS type by using image media the skill of procedure text writing for student at VIII grade in 2 Junior High School Padang Panjang. The research method is experimental. Abstract

ABSTRACT This article was written to describe the correlation of reading comprehension skill with the skill of writing the text of the result of observation of the tenth grade students of SMK Negeri 10 Padang. This research is a quantitative research with correlational method. The sample in this study amounted to 30 people. The data of this research is the result score skill test reading comprehension and the result score skill test of writing the text of the result of observation. Based on data analysis and discussion, the following three things are obtained. First, the skill of reading comprehension of the tenth grade students of SMK Negeri 10 Padang is in good qualification  (77,13). Second, the skill of writting the text of the result of observation of the tenth grade students of SMK Negeri 10 Padang is in more than enough qualification (69,63). Third, there is correlation of reading comprehension skill with the skill of writing the text of the result of observation of the tenth grade students of SMK Negeri 10 Padang because tcount>ttable (2,47>1,31). Kata kunci: korelasi, membaca pemahaman, menulis, teks laporan hasil observasi

Abstract

The purpose of this research is (1) to describe appreciative reading skill, (2) to describe the skill of writing short story, and (3) to analyze the relationship of appreciative reading skill with the skill of writing short story of grade X of SMA UNP Development Labolatorium. The data of this research is the score of reading skill test of apresiatif and score of skill writing writing skill test result. The findings of this research are (1) appreciative reading skill is in good qualification with average score 80,82, (2) skill of writing short story is in good qualification with average value 78,53, and (3) based on t test, H1 is accepted because thitung> ttable is 0.345 > 1.68. Kata kunci       : hubungan, membaca apresiatif, menulis cerpen

Abstract

In this study, theoretical concept of disovery learning are reviewed the influence model to the writing skills of argumentation of class X students of SMA Negeri 3 Pariaman. The data of this study is the result of the skill of writing the argumentation without and by using the treatment. The data was collected by giving learning of argumentation by using discovery learning model in experiment class. The test used in this study is a test performance to students in the form of writing test of argumentation. Abstract writing skill writing skill and using treatment is compared to see the effect of discovery learning model by using t-test formula. The result of the research shows that (1) writing skill of argumentation of class X students of SMA Negeri 3 Pariaman without using discovery learning model is in qualification Enough, (2) writing skill of argumentation using discovery learning model of class X students of SMA Negeri 3 Pariaman is in Good qualification , (3) based on t-test, it can be concluded that there is significant influence to the discovery learning model in learning writing writing argumentation of class X students of SMA Negeri 3 Pariaman. Kata kunci: Pengaruh, penggunaan model discovery learning, menulis karangan argumentasi

Abstract

This study aims to: (a) describe social issues that are the focus of author criticism in short stories in the April 2015 Jawapos newspaper. (B) describe the form of social criticism submitted by authors in short stories in Jawapos April 2015. (C) to describe the implications of the Jawapos short story study in the April 2015 edition of Indonesian language learning. The type of this research is qualitative research by using descriptive method of content analysis. The results of this study are social problems contained in the April 2015 edition of Jawapos short stories, namely (1) the problem of poverty (2) the problem of crime (3) the problem of the young generation in modern society (4) religious issues and beliefs (5) Environment (6) family disorganization problem. Furthermore, the form of social criticism submitted by the authors in short stories in Jawapos (April) edition of the Jawapos newspaper, (1) the direct form of criticism (2) the cynical form of criticism (3) the symbolic form of the delivery of criticism (4) the form of humorous criticism 5) the interpretive form of interpretive submission. Abstract

ABSTRACT This article was written to describe the effect of using au-inquired media-based inquiry strategy to the writing skills of fifteenth-grade textbook students of SMP Negeri 34 Padang. This research is a quantitative research with experimental method. The sample in this study amounted to 32 people. The data of this research is the score of skill test result of fable story writing. Based on data analysis and discussion, the following three things are concluded. First, the skills of writing fable stories without using audiovisual audiovisual media aided in VII SMP Negeri 34 Padang is in the Qualification More than Enough (Ldc) with an average score of 72.92. Second, the skill of writing fable stories using audiovisual audiovisual aided media inquiry strategy VII students of SMP Negeri 34 Padang is in Good qualification (B) with an average score of 84.11. Third, the skill of writing fable stories using audiovisual audiovisual media aided in VII SMP 34 Padang is higher than without using the audiovisual audiovisual auxiliary media strategy of VII students of SMP Negeri 34 Padang, but has not reached KKM. Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is as follows. First, describe reading skills in understanding the exposition text of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 28 Padang. Second, describe the writing skills of exposition text of grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 28 Padang. Third, analyze the correlation of reading skills understanding exposition text and exposition text writing skills of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 28 Padang. This type of research is quantitative research with descriptive methods. Research design is correlational research. The sample of this study amounted to 40 people. The sampling technique in this study was simple random sampling. The instruments used in this study are objective tests for reading skills in understanding exposition text and performance tests for text writing skills exposition. Data were analyzed by percentage formula, formula for calculating average, normality test, homogeneity test, and t-test. The results of this study are the following three things. First, the reading skills of understanding the exposition text of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 28 Padang were of good quality, with an average score of 77.64. Secondly, the writing skills of exposition text of grade VIII students of Padang Public Middle School 28 are more than qualified, with an average value of 73.38 below the KKM (75). Third, there is a positive and significant relationship between reading skills understanding exposition text and exposition text writing skills of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 28 Padang at a significant level of 0.05 and degrees of freedom (dk) = n-1 because t count> ttable is 6.70> 1, 68.  Kata Kunci: Korelasi, Keterampilan Membaca Pemahaman Teks Eksposisi,                        Keterampilan Menulis Teks Eksposisi
