Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this study is to determine the ability of students 'mathematical disposition through learning STAD models, to find out the increase in the ability of mathematical disposition through learning STAD models, and to assess whether increasing the ability of mathematical disposition of students through learning STAD models is better than increasing the ability of students' mathematical disposition through conventional learning and to find out students' responses to STAD learning models. This research uses a quantitative approach in the form of quasi experimental research. The experimental design used is the type of Nonequivalent control group design. The design is used to determine the ability of students' mathematical disposition before and after being given the STAD model. Increasing students' mathematical disposition abilities using STAD learning models obtained a percentage increase of 12%. The control class with a total of 31 student scores before treatment was 89.77 and after treatment was 97.26 with an average score difference of 7.49. Increasing the ability of mathematical disposition that uses conventional learning has a percentage increase of 8%. This shows that the mathematical disposition ability of the experimental class students is higher than the control class.Keywords: STAD, mathematical disposition, Nonequivalent control group design AbstrakTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kemampuan disposisi matematika siswa melalui pembelajaran model STAD, untuk mengetahui besar peningkatan kemampuan disposisi matematika melalui pembelajaran model STAD, dan untuk mengkaji apakah peningkatan kemampuan disposisi matematika siswa melalui pembelajaran model STAD lebih baik dari pada peningkatan kemampuan disposisi matematika siswa melalui pembelajaran konvensional dan untuk mengetahui respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran model STAD. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif yang berupa penelitian eksperimen kuasi. Desain eksperimen yang digunakan yaitu jenis Nonequivalent control group design. Desain tersebut digunakan untuk mengetahui kemampuan disposisi matematika siswa sebelum dan sesudah diberikan model STAD. Peningkatan kemampuan disposisi matematika siswa yang menggunakan pembelajaran model STAD didapat prosentase peningkatan sebesar 12%. Kelas kontrol dengan jumlah 31 siswa skor sebelum treatment adalah 89,77 dan sesudah treatment adalah 97,26 dengan selisih skor rata-rata sebesar 7,49. Peningkatan kemampuan disposisi matematika yang menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional memiliki prosentase peningkatan sebesar 8%. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan disposisi matematika siswa kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol.Kata kunci: STAD, disposisi matematika, Nonequivalent control group design

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and describe the relationship between basic mathematical abilities and statistical learning outcomes. This study is an explanatory researchs with quantitative correlational research method. The subjects in this study were fifth semester students of the D3 Corporate Management study program, while the objects in this study were students' basic mathematical abilities which included algebra, calculus, and probability and student statistics learning outcomes. The data was collected using a basic mathematical ability test instrument consisting of a test of algebra, calculus and probability material as well as a test of statistical learning outcomes. The data obtained were analyzed by descriptive and inferential statistics. Inferential statistical testing using multiple linear regression test. Based on the results of data analysis, there is a positive relationship between basic mathematical abilities (algebra, calculus, and probability) on student statistics learning outcomes.

Abstract

The research was purpose to increase the learning achievement and learning activities of students in class XI IPS-2 SMA Kristen Immanuel Batam through peer teaching learning model. This research was conducted in the academic year 2019/2020 even semester and the research participants were 24 students. The study was cconducted in February until June 2020. The data collection technique was from primary data on learning achievement and student learning activity questionnaires. Qalitative descriptive data analysis technique. The results of this study have increased student learning achievement and learning activities after using the peer teaching learning model. The pre-cycle learning achievement completeness score was 4.67%, and the pre-cycle average score was 61.46. The score of completeness learning achievement in cycle I is 79.17%, and the average score of cycle I is 76.25. The score of completenees of learning achievement in cycle II is 91.67%, and the average score of cycle II is 83.96. The precentage of pre-cycle high category learning activities was 33.33%. The percentage of learning activities in the high category of cycle I was 70.83%. The percentage of learning activities in the high category of cycle II was 87.50%.

Abstract

Abstract: This research is a study using a literature study technique with a qualitative approach that aims to analyze the implementation of the 2013 curriculum in mathematics in seven-year-old schools. Research using this literature study technique uses primary and secondary data from various written sources or scientific articles from national and international journals as well as documents deemed relevant to the study in this study. This study focuses on the implementation of the 2013 curriculum in mathematics in schools. The results of the study showed that the implementation of mathematics learning in the 2013 curriculum which consisted of planning, implementation, process assessment and learning outcomes was difficult to apply optimally. Constraints experienced by mathematics teachers in implementing the 2013 curriculum include the difficulty of changing the mindset of teachers and students, uneven student abilities due to online learning. This is due to the lack of readiness of teachers and students in implementing the 2013 curriculum during the pandemic.Keyword: 2013 curriculum; mathematics; pandemicAbstrak: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dengan teknik studi literatur dengan pendekatan kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi kurikulum 2013 bidang matematika di sekolah yang telah berusia tujuh tahunan. Penelitian dengan teknik studi literatur menggunakan data primer dan sekunder dari berbagai sumber tertulis atau artikel ilmiah yang berasal dari jurnal nasional dan internasional serta dokumen-dokumen yang dianggap relevan dengan kajian dalam penelitian ini. Penelitian ini memfokuskan pada implementasi kurikulum 2013 bidang matematika di sekolah. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa Pelaksanaan pembelajaran matematika kurikulum 2013 yang terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, penilaian proses dan hasil belajar sulit untuk diterapkan secara maksimal. Kendala yang dialami guru matematika dalam penerapan kurikulum 2013 antara lain sulit merubah pola pikir guru dan peserta didik, kemampuan peserta didik yang tidak merata dikarenakan pembelajaran yang dilakukan secara daring. Hal tersebut disebabkan kurangnya kesiapan guru dan peserta didik dalam mengimplementasikan kurikulum 2013 di masa pandemi.Kata kunci: kurikulum 2013; matematika; pandemi.

Abstract

Abstract: The problems discussed in this study relate to the value of character education as depicted in the novel Hayya by Helvy Tiana Rosa and Benny Arnas through the Mimetic approach. Through the Mimetic approach, the data contained in Hayya's novel text quotes are collected and then related to the realities of life that have occurred in society. The purpose of this study is to instill the value of character education in students so that it can be applied in learning at school and can be applied in the community. Data were analyzed by reading and note-taking techniques. Data were analyzed by qualitative descriptive method. The results of the discussion of the analysis of moral values and social values in the novel Hayya by Helvy Tiana Rosa and Benny Arnas through the Mimetic Approach are that there are four religious moral values, fourteen quotes about caring for others, while social values in the form of compassion are totaling twenty-three quotes, helping each other which amounted to two quotes, respecting others which amounted to four quotes, hospitality which amounted to two quotes, responsibility which amounted to five quotes. This novel is highly recommended to shape the value of moral and social character education in society, especially students.Keyword: Mimetic approach; character building; HayyaAbstrak: Permasalahan yang dibahas dalam penelitian ini berkaitan dengan nilai pendidikan karakter yang tergambar pada novel Hayya Karya Helvy Tiana Rosa dan Benny Arnas melalui pendekatan Mimetik. Melalui pendekatan Mimetik dikumpulkan data-data yang terdapat dalam kutipan teks novel Hayya kemudian dihubungan dengan realitas kehidupan yang pernah terjadi di tengah masyarakat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menanamkan nilai pendidikan karakter pada diri siswa sehingga dapat diaplikasikan dalam pembelajaran di sekolah dan dapat diterapkan di tengah masyarakat. Data dianalisis dengan teknik membaca dan mencatat. Data dianalisis dengan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil pembahasan analisis nilai moral dan nilai sosial pada novel Hayya Karya Helvy Tiana Rosa dan Benny Arnas Melalui Pendekatan Mimetik tersebut adalah terdapat nilai moral keagamaan yang berjumlah empat kutipan, rasa peduli terhadap sesama yang berjumlah empat belas kutipan, sedangkan nilai sosial berupa rasa kasih sayang yang berjumlah dua puluh tiga kutipan, tolong-menolong yang berjumlah dua kutipan, menghargai orang lain yang berjumlah empat kutipan, keramahan yang berjumlah dua kutipan, tanggung jawab yang berjumlah lima kutipan. Novel ini sangat di rekomendasikan untuk membentuk nilai pendidikan karakter moral dan sosial dalam masyarakat, khususnya pelajar.Kata kunci: pendekatan Mimetik; pendidikan karakter; Hayya

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to examine the implementation of jamboard in increasing students' learning motivation. The use of interactive learning media in online learning is crucial. The role of learning media is very important to support the achievement of successful teaching and learning proses. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. By using a qualitative approach, the researchers can understand, observe, analyze, and examine the implementation of jamboard in increasing students' learning motivation. The results of the research findings are as follows: a) Jamboard application can improve student motivation which is manifested in better interactions during learning activities, b) Jamboard application can improve student learning achievement, c) foster students' extrinsic motivation towards learning activities.Keyword: Jamboard; instructional media; online learningAbstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji mengenai implementasi jamboard dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa. Penggunaan media pembelajaran yang interaktif dalam pembelajaran daring sangatlah krusial. Peran media pembelajaran sangat penting guna mendukung ketercapaian keberhasilan kegiatan belajar mengajar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan bersifat deskriptif kualitatif. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif peneliti dapat memahami, mengamati, menganalisa, dan mengkaji tentang penerapan jamboard dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa. Abstract

Abstract: Education is a learning process for individuals to have an understanding of something, and make someone critical in thinking. Physical education is an educational process that utilizes physical activity that results in changes in the quality of individuals, both physically, mentally, and emotionally. Teachers must have fun learning strategies and can motivate students to follow every learning process that takes place. The game becomes a medium of movement activity during learning. Children's behavior in everyday life and at play have similarities, such as how to solve problems, make decisions, and also communicate. The game in question is a small game that can be modified as needed during the implementation of learning. Small games that are modified by taking into account the needs and interests of students will have a big influence on their growth and development. Physical fitness and student health can also be achieved through small games contained in Physical Education, Sports, and Health learning.Keyword: fitness; small gameAbstrak: Pendidikan merupakan proses pembelajaran kepada individu agar memiliki pemahaman terhadap sesuatu, serta menjadikan seseorang kritis dalam berpikir. Pendidikan jasmani adalah proses pendidikan yang memanfaatkan aktivitas fisik yang menghasilkan perubahan kualitas individu, baik dalam hal fisik, mental, maupun emosional. Guru harus memiliki strategi pembelajaran yang menyenangkan dan dapat memotivasi siswa untuk mengikuti setiap proses pembelajaran yang berlangsung. Permainan menjadi sebuah media aktivitas gerak pada saat pembelajaran. Tingkah laku anak dalam kehidupan sehari-hari dan pada saat bermain memiliki kesamaan, seperti bagaimana cara memecahkan masalah, mengambil keputusan, dan juga berkomunikasi. Permainan yang dimaksud adalah permainan kecil yang dapat dimodifikasi sesuai kebutuhan saat pelaksanaan pembelajaran. Permainan kecil yang dimodifikasi dengan memperhatikan kebutuhan dan minat siswa akan memiliki pengaruh besar pada masa pertumbuhan dan perkembangan mereka. Abstract

Abstract: Computational Thinking (CT) covers a wide range of cognitive skills that can be expressed in a variety of contexts. This study aims to determine the ability of computational thinking in VB grade students at Kanisius Sorowajan Elementary School through the subject of mathematics in geometrical material. The method used in this research is descriptive with a quantitative approach. The subjects in this study were 25 students of class VB SD Kanisius Sorowajan. Data collection techniques in the form of tests. The data analysis technique is in the form of descriptive analysis. The test instrument is in the form of student worksheets that have been modified by applying the CT foundation. The results of the study revealed that students have very good computational thinking for the foundations of pattern recognition, abstraction and decomposition. Meanwhile, computational thinking with an algorithm foundation is at a good stage. By this it shows students have the knowledge to integrate CT in mathematics. Furthermore, it can be concluded that students have very good computational thinking even though they have never been specifically taught CT subjects.Keywords: geometry, computational thinking, learningAbstrak: Computational Thinking (CT) mencakup beragam keterampilan kognitif yang dapat diekspresikan dalam berbagai konteks. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan computational thinking pada kelas VB SD Kanisius Sorowajan mempelajari matematika melalui mata pelajaran geometri. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif dan kuantitatif untuk metodologinya. 25 siswa SD VB Kanisius Sorowajan dijadikan sebagai subjek penelitian. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa tes. Analisis deskriptif adalah metode yang digunakan untuk menganalisis data. Instrument tes berupa lembar kerja peserta didik yang telah dimodifikasi dengan menerapkan fondasi CT. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa siswa memiliki pemikiran komputasi yang sangat baik untuk fondasi pengenalan pola, abstraksi dan dekomposisi. Sedangkan pada pemikiran komputasi dengan fondasi algoritma pada tahap baik. Dengan ini menunjukkan siswa memiliki pengetahuan untuk mengintegrasikan CT dalam matematika. Selanjutnya dapat disimpulkan bahwa peserta didik memiliki berpikir komputasi yang sangat baik walaupun tidak pernah diajarkan secara khusus mata pelajaran CT.Kata Kunci: Bangun Ruang, Computational Thinking, Pembelajaran

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to improve student learning outcomes using Solar System media on Solar System material grade VI SDN Larangan Badung 2. The subjects of this study were grade VI students of SDN Larangan Badung 2, as many as ten people. This research is a Classroom Action Research (PTK) with the object of research in the form of cognitive abilities in Solar System material. The research was conducted as a cycle and divided into two cycles. Each cycle consists of two meetings. Solar System material is one of the materials that is quite difficult for students to understand. This material is complex and challenging to understand because the science is abstract. Learning activities in the classroom also tend to be monotonous and passive. Passive students usually indicate that these students lack understanding of the material provided. This is what causes the number of student learning outcomes to be low or can be said to be incomplete. Based on the study results, using Solar System media on Solar System material can improve student learning outcomes, and students become interested in participating in learning.Keywords: learning media; multimedia; Solar SystemAbstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa menggunakan media Tata Surya pada materi Tata Surya kelas VI SDN Larangan Badung 2. Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VI SDN Larangan Badung 2 sebanyak 10 orang. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan objek penelitian berupa kemampuan kognitif dalam materi Tata Surya. Penelitian dilakukan dalam bentuk siklus dan dibagi menjadi dua siklus. Dalam tiap siklusnya terdiri atas dua kali pertemuan. Materi Tata Surya merupakan salah satu materi yang cukup sulit dipahami oleh siswa. Materi ini dianggap susah dan sulit untuk dipahami, dikarenakan ilmunya yang bersifat abstrak. Kegiatan pembelajaran di dalam kelas juga cenderung monoton dan menjadi pasif. Siswa yang pasif biasanya menandakan bahwa siswa tersebut kurang memahami terhadap materi yang diberikan. Hal ini yang menyebabkan banyaknya hasil belajar siswa cenderung rendah atau dapat dikatakan tidak tuntas. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan media media Tata Surya pada materi Tata Surya dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dengan baik, siswa menjadi tertarik dalam mengikuti pembelajaran.Kata kunci: media pembelajaran; multimedia; Tata Surya
