Researchers find problems in learning short story texts students find it difficult to express ideas and imagination. Researchers use the think talk write method to motivate students and develop ideas and imagination in writing short story texts. The Think Talk Write method is a way of teaching students to develop skills with their own business. This study aims to determine the differences in the ability and implementation of student learning applied to the treatment of Discovery Learning models in the control class and students who applied the think talk write treatment method in the experimental class. In this study the method used is the Quasi Experimental Design used is the pretest-postest Control Group Design. The objects that were sampled in this study were 30th grade XI-A students, and 30th grade XI-B students. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the think talk write method is better than the Discovery Learning model. When students are treated with the think talk write method the value obtained is very good, can be seen from the posttest results the average student gets a score of 76.70, compared to when students are treated (treatment) using the average Discovery Learning model the students only get a score of 56.50.

The background of this research is to help literature lovers to enjoy one of the literary works, namely poetry so that researchers try to find ways to study poetry travel to the sky easily and can understand the meaning implied in the poem. The statement is based on observations from students who have read the poem. This study aims to appreciate the meaning of poetry Travel to Heaven with a study that can be used that is using a semiotic analysis approach. The results of the analysis that the meaning of poetry Travel to Heaven, in general, is the presence of tools and the path to God, for those who really miss God. This must be used before time stops and even freezes.

The main problem in this research is the low ability of students to write poetry in class X. To overcome the problem is offered one of the learning method that is project based learning method. The purpose of this research is to know the implementation of learning to write poetry by using project based learning method in class X to know the result of the students about learning to write poetry before and after being treated by using project based learning method. Research conducted in the field using experimental research methods. The data processing using SPSS. The instruments prepared are the observation and test sheets. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of learning to write poetry in class X by using project based learning method is in accordance with the stages of learning planned. The result of learning to write poetry using project based learning method looks good because it can be seen from the average initial test score is 47.2 and final test 61,4 so that there is 36% improvement from initial test to final test. This means that learning poetry writing is effectively applied by using problem based learning method.

This study aims to describe: (1) the rhymes contained in the lyrics of the song at a glance the work of Lily Suhairy and Hamiedhan A.C, (2) the meaning of pantun contained in the lyrics of the song at a glance the work of Lily Suhairy and Hamiedhan A.C. This research is qualitative descriptive form, this research use technique of analysis with technique of collecting data using literature research technique. The data analysis technique begins with reading all the lyrics of the song to be analyzed, then searching for the elements of pantun and the meaning of the rhyme that is in the lyrics of the song at a glance the works of Lily Suhairy and Hamiedhan A.C. Sources of data used are documents and informants. The purpose of this study is to know the elements of pantun and the meaning of pantun contained in the lyrics of the song at a glance the work of Lily Suhairy and Hamiedhan A.C. The conclusion of this research is that there are elements of pantun contained in the lyrics of the song at a glance the work of meaningful admiration of love and motivation.

This article aims to analyze the style of the language used and the messages conveyed in the lyrics of the song Efek Rumah Kaca titled Merah. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative method which means that the research analyzing data and the results of the data in the form of description. Based on the results of the analysis, there are comparative language styles (metaphors and depersonalizations), the style of the linking language (euphemism), the language style of contradiction (paradox), and the language style of iteration (assonances and epistrofa). The messages contained in this song is the condition of Indonesian politics, the attitudes of people to the political condition, and hope also the invitation of the struggle for politics in Indonesia to improve.

In making a literature, a writer has his/her or own way in order to make his/her masterpiece has its characters. The reason why the writer took this title is to find out the style which use by one of the famous Indonesian man of style called Chairil Anwar, also the write wants to contribute in growing up Indonesian language especially poem analysis. This research focuses on describing the word style in a poem entitled “Aku” by Chairil Anwar which has many language styles such as comparing language styles, stressed, and repeatation. This research uses descriptive qualitative analys. Data analys has been done by using three steps they are reference studies by reading, noted, and identifying the words which has its style.

The learning title produces exposition texts by using problem based learning method in class X T KR students. As for the background of the problem that not all students can understand especially to present their ideas related to what is taught in Indonesian language subjects. Background problem there are 3 points: Is the Problem Based Learning method can improve the ability of writing exposition text ?, Is the method of learning problem-based effective learning used in learning writing exposition text ?, is there a difference before and after using the method of problem based learning on X? The research design used by researchers is One-Group Pretest-Postest Design. Where this design is preted before treatment and postes after treatment. Thus the treatment results can be known more accurately, because it can compare test results between before and after treatment. The population of SMK BINA PEMUDA is less than 150 people and the sample of the research is 20 students with 18 men and 2 women. The result of the research before using the method is seen from the average value of the initial test of 47.75 and the mean value of the final test 57 with the mean of 9,25 and the value of t table = 1, 70 turns t count> t table (7.64> 1.70), which means that the interruption between the initial test and the final test increased significantly.

This study refers to determine the structural elements and moral values in the short story “ Keadilan” by Putu Wijaya. This research can be useful for readers and can improve the ability to analyze the structural elements contained in the short research is qualitative descriptive. Source of data taken from the newspaper Jawa Pos October 07 2012. The data were analyzed by the structuralist approach, that is analyzing and interpreting the structural elements (intrinsic) in the short story. The results of the analysis found the elements of structure in the short story in the from of theme, plot, figure, background, the point of view, language style, conflict and elements it is unity to build a short story so that the work of literature. In addition, moral values are also found. Moral value are also found. Moral value is a value associated with good-bad, ethical and good character. That is the behavior shown by the character in the story.

The aim of this research is to study the use of Bahasa Indonesia in Kampung Balandongan, Bandung Barat. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with the sociolinguistic approach. The data is collected by using see ably and in-depth observational techniques. The sociolinguistic study is done by considering aspects of speech, which are a speaker, addressee, topic, and location. The result of this research shows that there are several people in Kampung Balandongan who use Bahasa Indonesia and there is code mixing in using Bahasa Indonesia. The language which frequently appears is Sundanese since it is still used and developed by some speaker in that place. In using Bahasa Indonesia, the people should know and understand how to use it in a correct way, whether it is in a formal or informal situation, thus there will be no variation in using language in interaction and communication context.

This research is motivated by the fact that the principle of politeness is important both in oral and written. Novels as writing must also use levels and conversations that include the principle of politeness in language. The problems in this study are; "How is the use of language politeness in a novel called Me And My Heart by Eva RiyantyLubis. The purpose of this study is to describe the use of language politeness in a novel entitled Me And My Heart by Eva RiyantyLubis. In this research activity, the method used is a descriptive method. The data in this study are dialogues that contain the maxims of politeness in language. While the data sources in this study are conversations, data collection techniques in this study use reading, note-taking, literature, analysis techniques. Based on the results of the study it was concluded that in the novel entitled Me And My Heart by Eva RiyantyLubis it did not fulfill the six maxims of politeness in the language according to Leech, which collected 52 utterances using the principle of politeness in language including a) Maxim's conclusions. b) Maxim agreement. c) Maxim wisdom. d) Maxim of generosity. e) Maxim simplicity. f) Maximally reward.
