Abstract

Mastery of geometric shapes in children can be seen from how the child is able to mention and understand geometric shapes, connect and sort geometric shapes, as well as show, express, and tell the results of work in the form of geometry. Mastery of geometric shapes in children can be improved by activities that make children active, one of which is mosaic activities. Mosaic activity is the excitement of sticking to pieces made of certain material. This study aims to improve the mastery of geometric shapes in early childhood using mosaic activities. The method used is a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental approach. Obtained an average gain value of the experimental class 0.820, while the control class is 0.053, which means mastery of the geometric shapes of the experimental class children who are given more mosaic activities compared to the control class which is only given conventional activities. Therefore, mosaic activities can improve the mastery of geometric shapes in children.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the application of carpet numbers 1-20 in the mastery of number sense in group B children. Learning mathematics will not be separated from numbers, calculations and logic. The process of learning mathematics is usually in the form of activities related to paper and pencil, paper or commonly called child worksheets. This tends to make children bored if done continuously. Tedious activities will cause children to be less interested in the learning process. If children are less interested in the learning process, this will greatly affect children's learning achievement. Therefore, researchers try to do activities other than using children's worksheets, namely games. The subjects in this study were 10 children in group B. Which consisted of four girls and six boys. The research method used is descriptive and uses a qualitative approach. The technique used in this research is observation, interview, documentation with data collection tools that are interview guides, observations, documentation and field notes. From the research results obtained, the implementation of learning carried out involves the child directly in learning activities, the way the teacher guides and evaluates the child in each activity, the child's response in learning at the time of applying the carpet game of numbers numbers the children look happy, cheerful, uplifting and developing very good.Tujuan dalam penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan permainan karpet bilangan angka 1-20 dalam penguasaan number sense pada anak kelompok B.. Belajar matematika tidak akan lepas dari angka, perhitungan dan logika. Proses pembelajaran matematika biasanya berupa kegiatan yang berkaitan dengan kertas dan pensil, kertas atau yang biasa disebut lembar kerja anak. Hal ini cenderung membuat anak bosan jika dilakukan terus menerus. Kegiatan yang membosankan akan mengakibatkan anak kurang tertarik pada proses pembelajaran. Jika anak kurang tertarik pada proses pembelajaran, ini akan sangat mempengaruhi prestasi belajar anak. Maka dari itu, peneliti mencoba untuk melakukan kegiatan selain menggunakan lembar kerja anak yaitu dengan permainan. Subjek dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 10 anak kelompok B. Yang terdiri dari empat anak perempuan dan enam anak laki-laki. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dengan alat pengumpul data yaitu panduan wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi dan catatan lapangan. Dari hasil penelitian yang diperoleh, pelaksanaan pembelajaran yang dilakukan melibatkan anak secara langsung dalam kegiatan pembelajaran, cara guru membimbing dan mengevaluasi anak dalam setiap kegiatan, respon anak dalam pembelajaran pada saat penerapan permainan karpet bilangan angka anak-anak tampak gembira, ceria, semangat dan berkembang sangat baik.

Abstract

Speaking is one of the language skills in daily life. People often choose to speak to communicate, because communication is more effective if done by speaking because speaking plays an important role in daily life. speaking skills in general can be interpreted as conveying the intentions of ideas, ideas, thoughts or contents of one's heart to others by using spoken language so that it can be understood by others. faced with a feeling of insecurity about many things. Likewise speaking skills are very limited because of fear of being mistaken. This research was conducted by the method of classroom action research to determine children's speaking skills influence the self-confidence of a child. Based on these results the results that optimize children's speaking skills have their own challenges, especially with different characteristics of children. This article was written with the aim of studying the process of children's speaking skills to improve children's self-confidence.Berbicara merupakan salah satu keterampilan berbahasa dalam kehidupan sehari hari seseorang lebih sering memilih berbicara untuk beromunikasi, karena komunikasi lebih efektif jika dilakukan dengan berbicara karena berbicara memegang peranan penting dalam kehidupan sehari hari. kemampuan berbicara secara umum dapat diartikan suatu penyampain maksud ide, gagasan, pikiran, atau isi hati seseorang kepada orang lain dengan menggunakan bahasa lisan sehingga dapat dipahami oleh orang lain kemampuan berbicara anak sangat berpengaruh terhadap keyakinan diri seorang anak, dalam kehidupan sehari hari setiap manusia akan dihadapkan pada rasa tak percaya diri akan banyak hal. Demikian juga keterampilan bebicara yang sangat terbatas hal ini dikarenakan takut diangap salah. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode penelitian tindakan kelas untuk mengetahui keterampilan berbicara anak berpengaruh terhadap keyakinan diri seorang anak. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut diperoleh hasil bahwa mengoptimalkan keterampilan berbicara anak memiliki tantangan tersendiri, terlebih dengan karakteristik anak yang berbeda beda. Artikel ini ditulis dengan tujuan untuk mengkaji proses keterampilan berbicara anak untuk meningkatkan keyakinan diri anak.

Abstract

In general, The research aims to "find out the application of the Demonstration method to improve the Social Development of PAUD children". This research was conducted with the approach used in this study is a qualitative research approach. Sugiyono The data source of this research is the kindergarten student Pelita Bandung. While the sample consisted of 25 children. The research data were collected using instruments in the form of interview guidelines and observation guidelines. The use of Demonstration Method to improve children's Social Development skills in this study was carried out through two observations. The learning conditions of Social Development activities using the Demonstration Method have begun to be conditioned. The child can concentrate on paying attention to the instructions of the guru and wants to practice the Social Development activities directly by using pictures of animals on the planel board. The results obtained through observation show satisfying results. By using the Demonstration Method in Social Development learning, the media used are rabbits and sprouts that are interesting, so the child wants to hold and see and observe the picture. In addition, children are more enthusiastic about learning because teachers demonstrate directly how the media works in Social Development learning activities, and teachers are also given opportunities for children to practice and demonstrate in front of other friends, hopefully children will remember the learning of Social Development continuously this and the more enthusiastic want to try.Secara umum, penelitian bertujuan untuk “mengetahui penerapan metode Demonstrasi untuk meningkatkan Perkembangan Sosial anak PAUD”.Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan penelitian kualitatif, sampel berjumlah 25 orang anak. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan instrumen berupa pedoman wawancara dan pedoman observasi. Metode demonstrasi digunakan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan aspek perkembangan sosial anak dalam penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan melalui dua kali observasi. Kondisi pembelajaran kegiatan perkembangan sosial dengan menggunakan Metode Demonstrasi sudah mulai terkondisikan. Anak sudah bisa berkonsentrasi untuk memperhatikan instruksi dari guru dan mau mempraktekkan langsung kegiatan Perkembangan Sosial dengan menggunakan gambar binatang pada papan planel. Hasil yang diperoleh melalui observasi menunjukkan hasil yang memuaskan. Dengan menggunakan metode demonstrasi di dalam pembelajaran perkembangan sosial, media yang digunakan yang berupa binatang kelinci dan tumbuhan kecambah yang menarik, sehingga anak ingin memegang dan melihat serta mengamati gambar tersebut. Selain itu, anak semakin termotivasi untuk  mengikuti pembelajaran dikarenakan guru memperagakan langsung bagaimana cara pengerjaan media tersebut dalam kegiatan pembelajaran Perkembangan Sosial, dan guru juga kesempatan diberikan pada anak agar mempraktekkan dan mendemonstrasikan di depan teman-teman yang lain, diharapkan anak akan mengingat terus pembelajaran Perkembangan Sosial ini dan semakin termotivasi ingin mencoba.

Abstract

This research was conducted to find out the differences from the learning methods of ordinary pictorial stories with the pop up models of the more unique and different pop up models, but also through this research it is hoped to provide new experiences for children, bearing in mind that learning is still focused on writing, reading and counting (calistung). This study uses the experimental method because there is a comparison between the control class and the experimental class. The subject and location of the study were group B students. The study population was the B-Saturn group and the B-Uranus group with a sample students, with a total of 28 students. Data collection techniques using pretest and posttest. Pretest technique using ordinary picture stories while in the posttest technique using picture models pop up. Results of Research The average value (mean) in the control class is BB (1.21), MB (0.21), BSB (0.42) and BSH (0.14) while in the experimental class the average value is BB (0.29), MB (0.21) , BSB (0.5) and BSH (0.14). Then it can be concluded that "Hypothesis is accepted", meaning that there is a difference between student learning outcomes to develop mathematical logical intelligence in the pretest and post test. Abstract

In the context of logical thinking the child will know about classifying objects based on function, shape or color or size, recognize patterns of ab-ab / abc-abc and repeat them. Increasing the ability to think logically with the puzzle media mental children will also be accustomed to being calm, diligent and patient in getting things done. So this research focuses on the implementation of the use of puzzle media in learning logical thinking in RA Nurul Yusro with the research title "Improving the ability of logical thinking in early childhood by using number puzzle media". This study aims at naturalist intelligence and logical thinking skills through puzzle media in group A aged 4-5 years. The use of instruments in this study was in the form of an observation sheet, in the form of a checklist of developmental achievement scales compiled based on a numerical scale assessment of 1-4. While the method used is a quasi-experimental method. The study sample was 10 children aged 4-5 years in group A RA Nurul Yusro. The results showed that the ability to think logically children aged 4-5 years in group A RA Nurul Yusro reached 35% of the minimum percentage of 65%. This shows that the ability to think logically children aged 4-5 years in group A RA Nurul Yusro is still low.

Abstract

Mastering the ability to count to children allows can be reviewed at the extent to which the child is able to call and understand numbers, connect and sort numbers, and show, express, and tell the results of work in the form of simple calculations. Mastery of numeracy skills in children can be improved by many methods available, one of which is the method of storytelling. Storytelling activities are listening activities and listening to the contents of the story. The purpose of this study was aimed at finding out how much the increase in numeracy skills using the storytelling method. This research in its implementation uses quantitative methods with a quasi-experimental approach. This research is intended to provide information to educators about the use of storytelling methods in improving children's ability to improve cognitive intelligence when only counting to children. From the results of this study, it was obtained that the gain or the average value of the experimental class was 0.820 while the average gain value of the control class was 0.053, which means counting the experimental class children after the treatment of the storytelling method showed an increase compared to the control class which incidentally was not given treatment. Therefore this study is recommended for all early childhood educators that storytelling methods can improve children's ability to count.Penguasaan kemampuan berhitung pada anak memungkinkan dapat ditinjau pada sejauhmana anak mampu menyebut dan memahami bilangan, menghubungkan dan mengurutkan angka, serta menunjukkan, mengungkapkan, dan menceritakan hasil karya dalam bentuk perhitungan sederhana. Penguasaan kemampuan berhitung pada anak dapat ditingkatkan dengan banyak metode yang tersedia, salah satunya metode bercerita. Kegiatan bercerita adalah kegiatan mendengarkan serta menyimak isi cerita. Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah ditujukan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar peningkatkan kemampuan berhitung menggunakan metode bercerita. Penelitian ini dalam pelaksanaannya menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan kuasi eksperimen.  Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk memberikan informasi kepada pendidik tentang penggunaan metode bercerita dalam meningkatkan kemampuan anak dalam meningkatkan kecerdasan kognitif sa;ahsatunya berhitung pada anak. Dari hasil penelitian ini diperoleh bahwa gain atau nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen 0,820 sedangkan nilai gain rata-rata kelas kontrol yaitu 0,053 yang artinya berhitung anak kelas eksperimen setelah diberlakukan treatment metode bercerita lebih menunjukkan peningkatan dibandingkan kelas kontrol yang notabene tidak diberi treatment. Maka dari itu penelitian ini disarankan untuk semua pendidik anak usia dini bahwa metode bercerita dapat meningkatkan kemampuan anak dalam berhitung .

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out how to utilize animals in TK Tiara Putri Bandung. This research is a quantitative study conducted by quasi-experimental or quasi-experimental methods to determine differences in the ability of classes that are treated and classes that are not treated. The subjects of the research were students of group B TK Tiara Putri Bandung. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling, as many as 14 students. The instrument to measure in this study uses non-tests. Non-test assessment methods in this study were carried out through observation and documentation. This research uses content validity. Data were analyzed using a simple linear regression test to see the effect of using an environmental exploration approach to increasing understanding of early childhood science concepts. The results showed that the environmental exploration approach had a positive effect on increasing knowledge of early childhood science as evidence that there was an increase in the development of the understanding of science concepts before and after the use of the environmental exploration approach and the results of the linear regression test were Y = 37.791 + 4.072 X. From the results of the study, it was concluded that the use of environmental exploration approaches can increase understanding of scientific concepts of early childhood 5-6 years.Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan pengenalan binatang ternak melalui eksplorasi lingkungan dalam peningkatan pengetahuan sains anak usia dini di TK Tiara Putri Bandung. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dilakukan dengan metode kuasi eksperimen atau eksperimen semu untuk mengetahui perbedaan kemampuan kelas yang diberi perlakuan dan kelas yang tidak diberi perlakuan. Subjek penelitiannya anak didik  kelompok B TK Tiara Putri Bandung. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan sampling purposive, sebanyak 14 siswa. Instrumen untuk mengukur dalam penelitian ini menggunakan non-tes. Metode penilaian non-tes dalam penelitian ini dilaksanakan melalui observasi dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan validitas isi (content validity). Data dianalisis menggunakan uji regresi linier sederhana untuk melihat pengaruh penggunaan pendekatan eksplorasi lingkungan terhadap peningkatan pemahaman konsep sains anak usia dini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan eksplorasi lingkungan berpengaruh positif terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan sains anak usia dini terbukti bahwa ada peningkatan perkembangan pemahaman konsep sains sebelum dan sesudah penggunaan pendekatan eksplorasi lingkungan dan hasil uji regresi linier adalah  Y = 37,791 + 4,072 X. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan pendekatan eksplorasi lingkungan dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep sains anak usia dini 5-6 tahun.

Abstract

The concept of Numbers is a learning that applies a lesson strategy connecting, knowning the number symbolism, enumerating, and matching numbers. But many of the factors still factor in this well appropriatingthe lackof creativity of teachers at school to give children stimulus in implementing engifons. The research is using PTK (class action research) with the Kemmic and McTaggart cycles models. Research subjects are four to five with 13 people. Data analysis uses data reduction, target data, and conclusion. Research indicates that an engklek can promote a 4-5 year concept of numbers in the mother’s blessings. In the attainment of increased each cycles before 13%, cycles 1 (25%) and cycles 2(80%). Through an engineering can link tangible objects, count, mention and match to improvements.Konsep bilangan merupakan pembelajaran yang menerapkan strategi pelajaran menghubungkan, mengenal lambang bilangan, menyebutkan dan mencocokkan bilangan. Namun masih banyak faktor penyebab hal tersebut belum terimplementasi dengan baik yakni kurangnya kreativitas guru di sekolah untuk memberikan stimulus pada anak dalam menerapkan kegiatan kaleng engklek. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode PTK (penelitian tindakan kelas) dengan model siklus Kemmis dan McTaggrt. Subjek penelitian adalah usia 4-5 tahun berjumlah 13 orang. Analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, display data dan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kaleng engklek dapat meningkatkan konsep bilangan usia 4-5 tahun di PAUD Restu Ibu. Dalam pencapaian peningkatan setiap siklusnya sebelum nya 13%, siklus 1(25%) dan siklus 2(80%). Melalui kaleng engklek anak dapat menghubungkan benda-benda konkrit, berhitung, menyebutkan dan mencocokkan sehingga mengalami peningkatan.

Researchers found that the problem in the learning process of children tends to only use normal learning in class activities, whereas in early childhood learning is fun, not bound by the burden of learning, researchers try to test with different learning to improve children's logical abilities by using plasticine to improve the logical abilities of children of this study this method uses a quasi-experimental method, the results of the study show that learning using plasticine is less effective in improving logical thinking skills for group A, apparently using conventional learning methods the results are more significant, possibly due to forming plasticine requires more ideas or creativity of children, not all children are able to form with plasticine, in research in the field there are some children who are impatient in forming plasticine, some even use or disgust holding plasticine then from that to develop children's logical abilities are less effective in plasticine activitiesPada anak usia dini, peran orang tua serta guru dan juga masyarakat sangatlah berpengaruh pada pertumbuhan dan perkembangan anak, berilah stimulus yang baik dan positif di usia dini, maka itu  sangat menentukan dimasa selanjutnya. Peneliti menemukann permasalahan yaitu pada proses pembelajaran anak-anak cenderung hanya menggunakan pembelajaran yang biasa dalam kegiatan dikelas, sedangkan dalam pembelajaran anak usia dini itu menyenangkan, tidak terikat dengan beban pembelajaran, peneliti mencoba menguji dengan pembelajaran yang berbeda dalam meningkatkan kemampuan logis anak yaitu dengan menggunakan plastisin untuk meningkatkan kemampuan logis anak penelitian ini metode ini menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen, hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pembelajaran menggunakan plastisin kurang efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berfikir logis untuk kelompok A, ternyata dengan menggunakan metode pembelajaran konvensional hasilnya lebih signifikan, kemungkinan dikarenakan membentuk plastisin lebih membutuhkan ide-ide atau kreativitas anak, tidak semua anak mampu membentuk dengan plastisin, dalam penelitian dilapangan ada beberapa anak tidak sabar dalam membentuk plastisin, bahkan ada yang mengatakan jijik memegang plastisin maka dari itulah untuk pengembangan kemampuan logis anak kurang efektif dalam kegiatan plastisin
