Abstract

The role of schools and teaching staff play an important role in the era of society 5.0. especially during a pandemic, learning activities take place through online media using various supporting applications, such as zoom, google classroom, google class Meetings, and others. The use of this application media requires more insight from educators. However, in reality, currently, not all educators have sufficient information technology so learning carried out online looks monotonous and difficult for students to understand. Learning focuses more on face-to-face with zoom, the teaching materials displayed are only in the form of words or power points, the teacher's explanations are more verbal, not using applications or interactive learning media so that the reasoning and creative power of students is not well explored. The problem was recognized and based on the narrative of several teachers at SDN Panaragan 1, Bogor City when the researchers made initial observations at the school regarding the problems that existed in elementary schools. Efforts that can be made to overcome monotonous learning are interactive educational games, namely word wall-based maze games. The aim is to see an overview of the Improvement and Effectiveness of the Wordwall-Based Maze Chase Game Development in improving the critical thinking and reasoning abilities of Elementary School students/ The method used is Research and Development, namely development in learning media. The learning media development model used is analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Based on research data , maze chase is an appropriate educational game to be used as a learning medium. Based on data processing results, 93.3% of students stated that the educational games given by the teacher challenged them to fill it properly. Moreover, games are made in the form of labyrinths that challenge students to think critically and reason. Whereas 6.7% of students or a small portion stated that educational games were not challenging for them to fill properly.

Abstract

Elementary Mathematics Education is a compulsory subject that must be taken by students of the PGSD Study Program. In fact, there are no practical teaching materials available as facilities for learning activities during lectures as needed. The development of teaching materials for elementary mathematics education courses based on living values education (LVE) is deemed necessary because of the decline in individual character. There are various activities in bringing value education to life, ranging from practice, productivity, and meaning. LVE as a solution and answer to the need for values of human life. The purpose of the study was to produce teaching materials for elementary mathematics education based on living values education. The type of research is research and development (R&D) proposed by Borg and Gall. Based on the steps in the research development cycle that were delivered, they were then shortened to four main stages, are 1) exploration stage or preliminary stage, 2) model development stage, 3) model testing stage, and 4) model dissemination and implementation stage. The results showed that the teaching materials developed had met the valid criteria with a percentage of 86.39% in the material aspect, 82.8% in the language aspect, and 88.7% in the presentation aspect with very good criteria. In addition, the teaching materials developed can improve students' abilities with an average pretest achievement of 76 while the average posttest score of 88. On average, the N-Gain value of 0.5 is obtained, which means that the student's ability is included in the medium category.

Abstract

The purpose of this development research is to look at the making of a wordless picture book, to determine the level of validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the development of a wordless picture book. The research method used in this research is Research and Development (R&D), with the ADDIE development model. The validation of this wordless picture book was carried out by 3 experts. The results are 92,5% material expert, 92,5% linguist, and 92,5% media expert. The research subjects were fourth-grade students, totaling 20 students. The product trial phase uses one-to-one and small groups. The results of the research on the development of a wordless picture book that the practicality level of the teacher is 91,6% and the students are 88,6% based on the given instrument. Meanwhile, the effectiveness level of a wordless picture book is that the average post-test value is greater than the pre-test score (79,5 > 30,5). Based on the results of the t-test, tcount (14,41) > ttable (2,09), then the hypothesis (Ha)is accepted. Therefore, a wordless picture book is effectively used in learning.

Abstract

Understanding mathematical concepts in multiplication material are indispensable for solving mathematical problems as well as a prerequisite for the next higher material. Based on several studies the lack of students understanding the multiplication concepts is due to internal factors such as the lack of student motivation and external factors such as the lack of innovative learning media used by teachers. Therefore, the approach using ICT (Information and Collaboration Technologies) is expected to be impactful and the development of today's education. This study aims to see the impact of hybrid learning assisted by Google Site and QR Code model on understanding the concept ability of multiplication. This study used quantitative methods with one group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study were 3rd-grade elementary school students with a sampling technique using purposive sampling of as many as 34 students. From this research, it is known that the use of hybrid learning assisted by Google Site and QR Code model impacts understanding concept ability of multiplication which is characterized by an increase in the achievement of results by 0.5 or with moderate interpretation, as well as students' understanding of the multiplication concept and the causes of students' difficulties in understanding the multiplication concept. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the impact of using a hybrid learning assisted by Google Site and QR Code model is an increasing understanding concept ability of multiplication. In the use of hybrid learning assisted by Google Sites and QR Code model, students found difficulties in understanding the concept ability of multiplication. This is shown by students not being able to distinguish multiplier numbers and multiplied numbers, difficulty in interpreting the language of the problem, and still lacking numeracy literacy.
