Jurnal Sendratasik diterbitkan 4 (empat) kali pada bulan S Maret, Juni, September, dan December denganmemuat artikel / artikel penelitian di bidang musik, tari, dan drama serta pembelajarannya. Memuat teks yang dihasilkan oleh kelompok penyunting, naskah yang digunakan adalah naskah yang lolos dan tidak pernah / tidak akan pindah ke jurnal lain. Jurnal Sendratasik menerima naskah yang memberikan wawasan tentang isu-isu terkini, dan terutama berhubungan dengan studi Seni Pertunjukan dan Pembelajarannya(Seni Drama, Tari dan Musik) dengan menyebar luaskan pengetahuan di bidang-bidang yang muncul dan berkembang. Hasil riset, terdiri dari laporan ilmiah yang meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang seni secara umum, seni pertunjukan, dan pendidikan seni. Baik dalam bentuk artikel yang melaporkan hasil studi penelitian kuantitatif atau kualitatif. Artikel secara konseptual harus relevan untuk memajukan Seni Pertunjukan dan Pembelajarannya, menyajikan teori tentang seni, model, posisi filosofis, dll. Artikel juga dapat mengacu pada teori-teori ataupun materi- materi yang dikembangkan dalam praktik dan pendidikan seni pertunjukan. Bahasa naskah yang dikirimkan dalam bahasa Indonesia. Harus membahas tentang masalah serta kontribusi baru yang signifikan untuk bidang praktik dan pendidikan seni pertunjukan. Artikel dapat berasal dari salah satu bidang berikut: - Drama - Tari - Musik dan / atau Musik Tradisional - dan Pembelajarannya

Abstract

Abstract This research aims to explain the correlation of  learning motivation with the students’ learning outcome of the dance art in class X MAN 3 Padang. The problem of research was the difference of students’motivation in the class X MAN 3 Padang which were influenced by the teacher, materials, methods, media, and evaluation of the lesson. This research was quantitative research with correlational  methods. Correlational  research is a study tha measures the relationship between X dan Y variables. The research samples were 25 students of the class X-1 MAN 3 Padang. The instruments of the research were a questionnaire and a testof learning outcomes. The data were collected through interviews and observation as secondary data collection techniques. The results showed that there was a significant correlation between learning motivation and students’ learning outcomes at the dance subject at the MAN 3 Padang. It was proven by rxy value =0.759 which was higher than the rtable. 0.459. Thus,it has shown that the correlation between the two variables was significant. By proving this hypothesis, the learning motivation was demonstrated by attention, understanding diligence and confidence. The students’ learning outcome is improved when they are highly motivated to learn. Keyword: motivation, student learning results, dance lessons

Abstract

This article aimed to reveal and describe students' motivation towards dance self-development activities in SMP-SDI Silungkang. The type of this research was qualitative research with descriptive methods. The objects in the study were 22 female students and 1 male of class VII and VIII in odd semester 2018/2019 academic year. All of the objects participated self-development. The instruments used in this study were the researchers herself and free interviews. The types of data in this research were primary and secondary data. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of library research, observation, interviews, and documentation. The techniques of data analysis were carried out by the steps of data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the motivation of students towards the self-development activities of dance in SMP of Islamic Business School (SDI) Silungkang was still quite good and the implementation of self-development in dance was running well. This school was still facing obstacles in developing dance self-development activities, such as infrastructures that were not yet complete. However, there were also several types of rewards given by the teacher to motivate students in the self-development activities. Thus, it was concluded that students 'motivation towards the self-development activities of dance in SMP of Islamic Trading School (SDI) Silungkang is quite good and needed some improvement in terms of students' external motivation, especially in the aspects of facilities and infrastructures

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know interest student to music art learning with using audio visual media. Kind this research is kualitatif method with descriptive technic of analysis. This research do with eigh meet times. Subject this research is VII A student class semester of two school year 2011/2012. The observation done which is student that participates, paying attention, and felling with observation sheet and percentage. From result of this research take conclusion that interest student to musik art learning with using audio visual media in SMP Negeri 8 Padang west sumatera barat province. It’s we can show with inquiry result by seven questions. From the inquiry result study before, therefore we can condusion that learning with using audio visual media can make student interest follow music art learning.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the choreography of Cangget Pilangan Dance in Abung Selatan village of North Lampung. This research belongs to a qualitative research using descriptive analysis. The instrument used was the researcher itself and was assisted by supporting instruments such as writing tools and cameras. Types of data used were primary and secondary data. The data were collected through literature study, observation, interview, and documentation. The data analysis was done through data reduction, data modeling (displaying), and conclusions making through choreography theory by analyzing theme, motion, floor design, top design, dramatic design, dynamics, group composition, music, and dance equipment. The results show that Cangget Pilangan dance is a creation in the form of a group which uses unison composition, balance, canon, and broken. This Cangget Pilangan dance is a development of the tradition using a choreographic approach. In Cangget Pilangan dance, there are elements of dance composition consisting of themes, movements, top designs, floor designs, dramatic designs, music designs, processes, equipment and group choreography. The movements in this dance are the development of Cangget motion and new creations: the motion of tiptoe, respect, hand, rotating hand, back step, transition 1. igel, wave, transition 2. rotating hands, turning, low turning, hand span, transition 3. transition 4. transition 5. transition 6. jump, hovering grab, shawl pull, gentle waves, close embarrassment, drift, ukel, worship, side ukel, front ukel, front walk, swing, open cross, and shawl cross. The floor pattern depicts creative dance that has fulfilled the elements of dance composition. The single cone dramatic design clearly depicts moderate to strong motion forces. A dramatic design clearly shows about the gentleness and manliness of the Lampung girl. The music strongly accompanies the flow of the dance movements, so it makes the dance alive and strong. The dance equipment gives a new color to the creative dance which is worked on as well as the group choreography which shows high social values in teamwork and mutual cooperation.

Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this article is to discuss the management of art exhibition of Sanggar Satampang Baniah in Padan. This was a qualitive study which employed descriptive method. The instrument of this study was the researcher herself, who conducted field observation which was supported by camera, writing  materials, and tape recorder. The data were analyzed based on the following steps: collexting the data, reduction, presenting, and making conclusion. The result of the study revealed that sanggar Satampang Baniahh used open management, production management, and marketing management in its activities. These three types of management are based on the context of the managemenet of art exhibition. Keywords: management, performing arts, studio.

Abstract

Abstract The study aims was to describe the application of cooperative learning method in the subjects of art and culture on class VIII.3 in SMP Negeri 26 Padang. The main data sources in this study were students who had given cooperative learning method. Technique of data collection was done by using techniques such as observation, interview, results of the study and library research. This study used a qualitative approach. In applicating the cooperative learning method, there were some steps as follows: in the first meeting, teacher explained traditionalal music material, as well as the divided of the group. The second meeting, teachers shared a sub material which would be discussed by each group. In the third meeting, each group presented the results of their discussion. The last one was teachers provided daily trials to evaluate learning process. The results of this study showed that the process and learning outcomes of the art and culture materials with traditional music styles which were implemented on class VIII.3 by using cooperative learning method was very helpful in improving results of study and cooperation among group members. A structured learning plan could motivate the learners so that the learners ddi not get bored with learning that teachers provide. Giving the learning facilities to the learners and groups, giving a reward and assessment to individuals and groups could stimulate the learners in order to faster understanding and it was able to give motivation to the learners in achieving purpose of learning. Key Words: Application, Cooperative Learning Method, Art and Culture

Abstract

This study aimsto explain the implementation of  Unisono singing learning at class VII-1 in SMP Negeri 1 Painan, Pesisir Selatan District. Type of this research wasa qualitative research with using a descriptive approach, so it was called qualitative-descriptive analysis research. By using this research method, the research process and results provided the complete and the real picture of the object under study from several points of view with a description. Techniques of data collection were collected by taking observation, interviews and documentation. Techniques of data analysis were done by collecting, identifying, classifying, describing, and finally drawing final conclusions of the research. After taking notes during the data collection including doing the interviews and document studies, the results obtain that the implementation of cultural art (music), especially on the topic of unisono singing at class VII-1 SMP Negeri 1 Painan found that the teacher still uses the usual learning methods or conventional, namely the lecture method, question and answer, and discussion. In fact, in the learning to unisono singing which requires demonstrations in the form of demonstration activities and exercises, it is rarely shown or done by the teacher in front of the students. Even if there is a pilot, the teacher only exemplifies the song to the students without demonstrating it completely, but instead sing a piece. As a result, unisono singing learning becomes subject matter of knowledge, without knowing clearly how the correct vocal technique to sing it.

Abstract

AbstractThis article aimed to reshaping something exist became somthing complete, interesting and the new presentation. The idea of this work is sourced from repertoire of Talempong Unggan art tradition in   Sumpur Kudus, Sijunjung Sub Disctirct, West Sumatera. The implementation of the work presented of processing the rythym and melody patterns of some elements of garap technique such as Unisono, canon, hocketing, interlocking, matrik, call and respon, by using these tones as follows, D +30, E+20, Fis-20, G, As+20. The music of Bagaluik was worked in a new form by cultivating  the new rythym and melody patterns which existed in Talempong Unggan Tupai Bagaluik into several music intruments which were proposed by the composer. The performance of this music composition developed and mixed between rythym and melody patterns into some music instruments. This work was played by nine players they were, two players for talempong, one player for canang, two players for pianika, two players for gandang kantindiak, one player for aguang and one player for gitar bass.Keywords: Talempong Unggan, Bagaluik

Abstract

Abstract This article aims to explain and reveal how to raise students' motivation in learning notation in MTsN Tarusan. During this time the teacher is plagued with low student motivation, thereby disrupting the smooth teaching and learning. The research was conducted by qualitative research with descriptive methods. Data obtained by interviews, direct observation, library research, and documentation. The research instrument is the researcher himself as a key instrument. Data were analyzed with phenomenological techniques. Results of previous studies suggest that students lack motivation in learning notation, it is caused by lack of proper teaching methods by teachers in the art of music MTsN. After the change in the method by teachers in teaching the art of music notation, reveal positive results in improving student learning motovasi notation. Means cooperative method is able to change the level of student motivation towards learning in MTsN Tarusan notation. Through cooperative pembelajran methods students have the motivation to read notation, because the element of cooperation pembnelajaran important role in practice, so that students are able to help a fellow co weaknesses of the students themselves. Abstract

This research is motivated by the existence of a vocal instructor, who does not have a musical education background, at Purwa Caraka Music Studio Padang. However, he is able to bring his students to get achievement at national level. This study aims to determine and describe the implementation of vocal training at Purwa Caraka Music Studio Padang. The aspects explored in this study are: 1) The program of vocal training at Purwa Caraka Music Studio Padang, 2) The implementation of vocal training at Purwa Caraka Music Studio Padang, 3) Obstacles to the implementation of vocal training at Purwa Caraka Music Studio Padang.This research useda descriptive analytic method. The data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and literature study. The results show that the implementation of vocal training at Purwa Caraka Music Studio Padang is based on the curriculum and handbooks. The methods used in vocal training are lectures, individual approachesand exercises, as well as voice production exercises which include: posture and diaphragmatic breathing, articulation techniques, intonation techniques, resonance techniques, and phrasering techniques. The obstacles in the implementation of the vocal training at Purwa Caraka Music Studio Padang are: 1) Mood of the students; 2) tone and tempo blind of the students.
