Jurnal Sendratasik diterbitkan 4 (empat) kali pada bulan S Maret, Juni, September, dan December denganmemuat artikel / artikel penelitian di bidang musik, tari, dan drama serta pembelajarannya. Memuat teks yang dihasilkan oleh kelompok penyunting, naskah yang digunakan adalah naskah yang lolos dan tidak pernah / tidak akan pindah ke jurnal lain. Jurnal Sendratasik menerima naskah yang memberikan wawasan tentang isu-isu terkini, dan terutama berhubungan dengan studi Seni Pertunjukan dan Pembelajarannya(Seni Drama, Tari dan Musik) dengan menyebar luaskan pengetahuan di bidang-bidang yang muncul dan berkembang. Hasil riset, terdiri dari laporan ilmiah yang meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang seni secara umum, seni pertunjukan, dan pendidikan seni. Baik dalam bentuk artikel yang melaporkan hasil studi penelitian kuantitatif atau kualitatif. Artikel secara konseptual harus relevan untuk memajukan Seni Pertunjukan dan Pembelajarannya, menyajikan teori tentang seni, model, posisi filosofis, dll. Artikel juga dapat mengacu pada teori-teori ataupun materi- materi yang dikembangkan dalam praktik dan pendidikan seni pertunjukan. Bahasa naskah yang dikirimkan dalam bahasa Indonesia. Harus membahas tentang masalah serta kontribusi baru yang signifikan untuk bidang praktik dan pendidikan seni pertunjukan. Artikel dapat berasal dari salah satu bidang berikut: - Drama - Tari - Musik dan / atau Musik Tradisional - dan Pembelajarannya

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to describe the pedagogic ability of teachers in cultural arts learning in SMA Negeri 12 Kerinci Jambi Province with the target of research were two culture arts teachers who teach Cultural Arts in the school. The method used in this research was qualitative research with descriptive analysis approach. While the object of research was the ability of teachers to implement KBM (Teaching and Learning Activities) in class X and XI SMA Negeri 12 Kerinci. The research instruments used were observation records, interview notes, documentation studies, and questionnaires to support data collection activities with observation techniques, interviews, documentation, and asking for students' responses. The results of the study describe the pedagogical ability of teachers in implementing the KBM, where the ability arises from the knowledge, experience, and talent in teaching which more determine the ability to teach the teachers than mere teachers who only seen from the suitability of educational background. Students of SMA Negeri 12 Kerinci have proved that Ms Mega Silvia has better pedagogic competence than Mr Herman Saidi, although Ms Mega Silvia is not an art diploma background but has a willingness and talent in implementing learning in class.

Abstract

Abstract This article aimed to determine students' perceptions of dance extracurricular activities at Pertiwi 1 High School Padang. The type of this research was descriptive research. This research was conducted at Pertiwi 1 High School Padang with 75 students participating in extracurricular activities. The populations of this research were students who took dance extracurricular activities; this study required 40 samples to represent 75 populations. Data collection techniques used in this study were questionnaires, observation, documentation, interviews and literature studies. The results showed that indicators about students' perceptions of dance extracurricular activities at Pertiwi 1 High School in Padang could be said well. Indicators of perceptions about student admission to dance extracurricular at Pertiwi 1 High School Padang with the level of achievement of respondents namely strongly agree (SS) 61.2%, agree (S) 28.3%, doubt (R) 7.2%, disagree (TS) 0.2% and strongly disagree (STS) 0%, an indicator of perceptions about students' understanding of dance extracurricular activities at Pertiwi 1 High School Padang with a high level of respondent strongly agree (SS) 60.6%, agree (S) 29, 3% hesitant (R) 9.3% disagree (TS) 0.2% and strongly disagree (STS) 0%, indicator of perceptions about students' assessment of dance extracurricular at Pertiwi 1 High School Padang with attainment level strongly agree ( SS) 60.4%, agree (S) 26.8%, doubt (R) 10%, disagree (TS) 1.8% and strongly disagree (ST) 0%. Keywords: Perception, Students, Extracurricular Dance

Abstract

This study aims to preserve a dance called Tari Piriang on Karambie in Payo, Tanah Garam Village, Lubuk Sikarah District, Solok City. This is a qualitative research with a descriptive method. The object of this research is Tari Piriang on Karambie and is focused on its preservation. The data were collected through field observations, interviews, and documentation done by using cameras. Triangulation technique was used to validate the data. It was conducted by comparing the data from observation tothose from interview and documentation. The results show that (1) Tari Piriang on Karambie, which was founded by Rabaim Pandeka Mudo, was found in Payo, Tanah Garam Village, Lubuk Sikarah District, Solok City. (2) The form of Tari Piriang Diateh Karambie still uses the old movement without being recreated. (3) In term of description of Tari Piriang on Karambiein Payo, Tanah Garam Village, Lubuk Sikarah District, Solok City, there are 7 movements namely Pasambahan, Cincang Pambuka Main, Barabah Mandi, Ramo-Ramo Bagaluik, Sairiang Salangkah, Tuduang Daun and Simpie Nan Ampek. The position of the dancers is not certainly determined when moving on the Karambie (coconut) so that the dancers do not panic looking for the positions while dancing on it. The numbers of dancers are 4 to 8 in maximum. (4) The training of Tari Piriang on Karambie in Payo, Tanah Garam Village, Solok City, is conducted 4 times, and the researcheruses teacher-to-student teaching method. The researcher exemplifies the movements and the dancers does the movements taught by the theresearcher. (5) The dancers of Tari Piriang on Karambie wear uniforms, and the dance is accompanied by musical instruments such as Talempong, Gendang, Giring-giring, and recorders. This is successfully  performed at Syek Kukut Park in Solok city. Thus, the researcher concludes that preserving Tari Piriang on Karambie has a good impact on the continuity of culture in Payo, Tanah Garam Village, Lubuk Sikarah District, Solok City.

Abstract

This work aims to display the creativity of female students in school, and it can be a reference for teachers in developing talents, interests and creativities of female students. The form of this artwork is percussion ensemble, the author will combine the rhythmic patterns of single stroke, double stokes, and triols in 4/4 hours with a simple form. It does not only focus on the instrument itself, the author will also combine with vowels to build atmosphere. Percussion ensemble is a musical composition that is adopted from the game of similar percussion instrument, such execution is very interesting because there is no melody instrument here. the incorporation of the rhythmic pattern of single stroke percussion instrument, dooble stokes, and triols can show a rhythm by exploring it into the percussion instruments used. Percussion ensemble is played by six players that consist of two tambua players, one snare drum player, one floor drum player, one cymbal and cowbell player, one bongo player and one of triangel player.

Abstract

Abstract   This study includes all of the experiments penelitiaan draft only randomized control group design with sampling techniques used are Culster sampling. To get results on the cognitive learning to use the test results to learn, for the affective and psychomotor used observation sheet. The study's findings that student learning outcomes in the cognitive domain to obtain the experimental class average - average  80.82 while the control class has an average - average 70.79.   Kata Kunci: Ranah Kognitif

Abstract

AbstractThis article aims to reveal and explain the impact of exploration on dance lessons in SMP Negeri 4 Kota Solok. This research will trace the learning process of dance by using exploration. The type of this research is qualitative with descriptive method of analysis, because this research tries to make description, description about a real situation which is in accordance with reality. Data obtained by direct observation and interview, test techniques are not required in this study. The main instrument in this study is the researchers themselves, who became the object of this study is the students of class VIII-B in SMP Negeri 4 Kota Solok. From the result of this research, it is concluded that in the learning of traditional dance in SMP Negeri 4 Kota Solok, the exploration has an impact on supporting the imagination, and the creative power and the ability of students in giving birth to new movements which is the development of motif of traditional dance movement. Another impact is the appearance of self-confidence in students, students have the ability to express simple dance moves performed in groups. Keywords: Exploration, Dance Learning

Abstract

Abstract This article is aimed to describe simple ensemble music learning and as an illustration/reference for teachers in teaching students about playing simple music ensembles of 8th grade Junior High School students at SMP Negeri 3 Koto BaruDharmasraya. This study used a descriptive approach. The instrument of this research was the researcher and assisted with supporting instruments such as stationery, audiovisuals and Smartphone. Techniques of data collection were done by library research, field observations, interviews and documentation. Techniques of data analysis were done by describing, elaborating and concluding. The results showed that the implementation of ensemble music learning by the teacher have not been fully using Lesson plan as a reference in learning. The methods that should be used by the teacher are question and answer method and demonstration. In fact, the teacher is more likely to use the lecturing method while the two methods written in the lesson plan have not been implemented into the learning process. The inequality of students` ability playing music leads the output obtained by students becomes varied. Lack of guided training given by teachers to students makes the ability to play musical instruments by the students is still not optimal. Keywords: Learning, ensemble music

Abstract

This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 3 Duo Koto Pasaman. The research objective was to describe students' interest in learning cultural arts (music) in class VII-3 at the school. This type of research is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The research object was 36 students of class VII-3, with the research instrument being the researcher himself as the main researcher with additional instruments such as observation notes, interview notes and literature study. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation.While data analysis is by systematically classifying the data to draw conclusions. The factors that influence students' interest in learning are divided into two, namely internal and external factors. Internal factors in the form of attention, talent, interest and motivation, how to learn. And external factors in the form of family, school, and others. From the results of the research that the researchers observed covering the factors that influence student interest in learning, the results showed that the lack of student interest in learning the art of music at SMP Negeri 3 Duo Koto Pasaman was caused by a lack of strategies and methods used by teachers in the learning process. Teachers are more likely to provide material in the form of theory using the lecture method, so that students feel bored and not enthusiastic in participating in learning the art of music. Meanwhile, learning the art of music requires balanced learning in the form of theory and practice, to increase student interest in learning the art of music.

Abstract

Abstract This article aims to analyze and describe the structures Sakin Dance in nagari Pitalah Kecamatan Batipuh Kabupaten Tanah Datar. The formulation of the problem What is the Structure Sakin Dance in nagari Pitalah Kecamatan Batipuh Kabupaten Tanah Datar. The research is a qualitative descriptive method of analysis. The object of this study was Sakin dance in Nagari Pitalah Batipuh District of Tanah Datar. Data was collected through literature study, work studio, observations, interviews, and documentation. While the research instrument that researchers themselves and use tools to record and collect data that use tools - stationery, photo camera, Handy-cam, tape recorder or hp. Data analysis was carried out based on the steps-steps proposed by Sugiono, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion.The results showed that the hierarchical relationship management grammatical Sakin dance is composed of several constituent components, ranging from the smallest to largest component. The smallest component unit at the start of the kinetic elements, form a motif, then forming parts and eventually into motion a whole dance. Tata hierarchical relationships contained in Sakin dance consists of 109 overall kinetic and kinetic 25 primary, 29 motif, 6 parts and eventually become the overall dance movement called Sakin dance.Keywords: Structures, Motion, Sakin Dance.
