Memuat teks yang dihasilkan oleh kelompok penyunting, naskah yang digunakan adalah naskah yang lolos dan tidak pernah / tidak akan pindah ke jurnal lain. Jurnal Sendratasik menerima naskah yang memberikan wawasan tentang isu-isu terkini, dan terutama berhubungan dengan studi Seni Pertunjukan dan Pembelajarannya(Seni Drama, Tari dan Musik) dengan menyebar luaskan pengetahuan di bidang-bidang yang muncul dan berkembang. Hasil riset, terdiri dari laporan ilmiah yang meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang seni secara umum, seni pertunjukan, dan pendidikan seni. Baik dalam bentuk artikel yang melaporkan hasil studi penelitian kuantitatif atau kualitatif. Artikel secara konseptual harus relevan untuk memajukan Seni Pertunjukan dan Pembelajarannya, menyajikan teori tentang seni, model, posisi filosofis, dll. Artikel juga dapat mengacu pada teori-teori ataupun materi- materi yang dikembangkan dalam praktik dan pendidikan seni pertunjukan. Bahasa naskah yang dikirimkan dalam bahasa Indonesia. Harus membahas tentang masalah serta kontribusi baru yang signifikan untuk bidang praktik dan pendidikan seni pertunjukan. Artikel dapat berasal dari salah satu bidang berikut: - Drama - Tari - Musik dan / atau Musik Tradisional - dan Pembelajarannya

Abstract This study aims to describe the application of solfeggio method as the students success rate support in playing dance accompaniment music in art and cultural subject as well as the relevance of learning to play the music of dance accompaniment on the students. This research was categorized into qualitative research using descriptive analysis approach. The object of research was 11th-grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Padang. Techniques of data collection used in this study include observation, interviews, literature study and documentation. The results show that the application of solfeggio method on Dance accompaniment Music Learning towards the 11th-grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Padang has a high impact of success rate. Applications of solfeggio method led students to have ability development and facilitated the students in making dance accompaniment music. From the 30 students in the classroom, 18 students succeeded in learning well and got values above the average learning outcomes standard in cultural arts learning. 7 students got standard grade scores, and 5 others were below the standard score. It shows that 83.3% of the total students have the high skill level. Keyword: Solfegio, Method and music accompaniment dance.

AbstractÂ This study aims to describe the impact of the use of peer tutor method toward the quality of the students learning in dance learning at class VIII.5 in SMP Negeri 17 Padang. This type of study was a qualitative with using descriptive method. The object in this study was the students of class VIII.5 in SMP Negeri 17 Padang that totaling 30 students with material on applying floor patterns to dance moves. The main instrument in this study was the researcher and it was assisted by using supporting instruments such as observation sheets, notebooks, and camera. These types of data used primary data and secondary data. Techniques of data collection were carried out by doing observation, interview, literature study and documentation. Data was analyzed with some steps, namely collecting, reducting; displaying; and verificating data. The result shows that the use of the peer tutor method in dance learning at class VIII. 5 is well done. The result is achieved by the students from the daily test scores that 96% of the students have completed in learning material about the application of the floor pattern to dance moves. This proves that the impact of the use of peer tutor method can improve the quality of the student learning in dance learning in SMP Negeri 17 Padang. Although there are problems in learning to practice the dance moves, the teacher who teaches still has a solution for the students so that the quality of the student learning still improves good results.Â Keywords: Peer Tutor Method, Learning Quality, and Dance Learning.

Menanamkan Karakter Percaya Diri Siswa Melalui Kegiatan Pengembangan Diri Seni Tari Di SMP Negeri 2 Bukittinggi Indah Septiani; Fuji Astuti; Herlinda Mansyur

This article aims to describe the planting of students' self-confidence characters through the self-development of dance in Bukittinggi 2 Public Middle School. This type of research is Qualitative Descriptive Research. The object of research is students of class VII and VIII in Bukittinggi Middle School 2 who participated in Self Development as many as 12 people. The research instruments were researchers as teachers and observers as well as school principals and art and culture teachers at Bukittinggi Middle School 2. Furthermore, data is collected by observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study showed that the planting of students' self-confidence characters carried out during 6 meetings went well and smoothly. It turned out that through the Pasambahan dance it was able to instill the character of self-confidence of students in Bukittinggi Middle School 2, where in the Pasambah Dance itself students were required to focus and have self-confidence in performing each of the movements of Pasambah with the complexity of martial arts movements at the opening of Pasambahan Dance, for road techniques for carano carrier and motion at the closing of Pasambah Dance and the use of changing floor patterns, so that students' confidence can be embedded through this Pasambah Dance. It was proven at each meeting that students experienced an increase in self-confidence by referring to six indicators of self-confidence and categorization, namely self-confidence in good categories, feeling self worthy in good categories, not relying on other people with good enough categories, not boasting with categories good, not hesitant in the good category and have the courage to act in a fairly good category, so that at the end of the process students are shown in the opening ceremony of the seminar at IAIN Bukittinggi also looks good. Thus it can be concluded that the Pasambah Dance that was passed on the Self Development of Dance was able to instill the Student's Confident Character in Bukittinggi Middle School 2 well.

Abstract The music arragement of the Langkisau song for school music ensembles was inspired by (1) the Langkisau song as one of Minang phenomenal pop songs, that tells about people's habit on the hill of Langkisau (Minang people) who like to wander. (2) It demands the students to be able to play the Langkisau song music arrangement in form of a school music ensemble. (3) This arrangements combines traditional musical instruments with western musical instruments which available at school. Kata kunci : Aransemen, Lagu Langkisau, Ensembel, Musik Sekolah.

The study aims to identify and describe the implementation of learning Culture and Arts (dance) by using WhatsApp at SMP N 11 of South Solok.This is a qualitative research by using descriptive method. The research instrument was the researcher itself and was supported by additional instruments such as a laptop, a camera, and writing instruments. Types of data used in this study were primary and secondary data. The data were collected through literature study, observation, and documentation. The steps of analyzing the data were reducing the data, presenting the data, and drawing conclusions. The results show that the implementation of online Culture and Arts (dance) learning in terms of material levels and dance patterns in class VII 1 of SMP N 11 South Solok by using WhatsApp runs very well although it is not maximized. This is due to the fact that the Basic Competence 4 could not be implemented. Judging from the planning, the learning design carried out by teachers remains the same but the steps for implementation are different because the learning system uses WhatsApp application. Teachers are more flexible in using media for learning. Teachers used to only use textbook media, now the media used are more interesting with the use of power points and videos from YouTube sent to WhatsApp group. In terms of assessment, it is conducted by looking at the assignments submitted by students and quiz scores. In term of implementing learning materials of knowledge, basic competence 3 is carried out very well. It is seen from the results of the assignments submitted by the students. There are no students whose grades were below the cut score. Even though in the submission of the assignments students are often not on time because of the internet’s load problem, the results of the submitted assignments are good enough and can even be more than the materials provided by the teacher. This proves that the students can look for additional materials other than what the teachers provide.

Abstract This article was intended to describe the Presentation Structure of the Four Songs in the Dhol Music in the Tabut Ceremony in Provinsi Bengkulu. This was a qualitative research which used descriptive method. The data was collected through library study, observation, interview, and documentation. The data analysis was done by classifying the data based on the conceptual framework. The result of the research revealed that the presentation structure of the four songs in Dhol music was (1) the ritual of Ambik Tanah, Duduk Penja and Menjara accompanied by Suweri, Melalu and Tamatam songs, (2) the ritual of Meradai accompanied by Suwena song, (3) the ritual of Arak Penja, Arak sorban, Gham and Arak Gedang without the accompaniment of dhol music, and (4) the ritual of Tabut Naik Pangkek and Tabut Tebuang accompanied by Suweri, Suwena and Tamatam songs. AbstractThis article aimed to know the education values of the Dampeang tradition on the art of Luambek in Nagari Lubuak Pandan Lareh Enam Lingkung Kabupaten Padang Pariaman. This study was qualitative with descriptive method. Instrument in this study was the researcher and assisted by some tools such as stationery, camera and audio recorder. Technique of data collection was done by doing observation, interviews, library research and documentation.Dampeang is the art of the vocal which has connection tightly toward the art of Luambek, every motion made by Paluambek taking the plot of Dampeang. Results of this study showed that there were number of the education values of Dampeang on the art of Luambek which could be used in daily life either individually or socially. The education values of it were value of ethics education, discipline, social studies, religious education and political education. Keywords: Education, Dampeang Tradition, Art Luambek.

This study aims at finding out the correlation between learning outcomes in music theory subject and percussion instrument practice subject in the Department of Drama, Dnace and Music Arts. This quantitative research used a correlational method involving two variables, i.e. the learning outcomes of music theory subject and the learning outcomes percussion instrument practice subject. The population in this study was the students of Department of Drama, Dance and Music Arts, Faculty of Languages and Arts, Universitas Negeri Padang whi took Music Theory subject in the even semester of 2017-18 academic calendar. Meanwhile, the sample in this study was the students of the Department of Drama, Dance and Music Arts who took the Percussion Instrument Practice subject in the even semester of 2018-19 academic calendar. The data of this study were documentation of the students’ learning outcomes in music theory and percussion instrument practice subjects which were processed using the Pearson product moment correlation test method. The results of data analysis showed that the value of the correlation test was 0.1013 or 10.13%. This coefficient value was based on the interpretation of the coefficient values in the range 0.00 – 0.19, indicating that the level of correlation between music theory subject and percussion instrument subject was very weak. Using a significance test with an error level of 5%, the results of the hypothesis testing showed that rcount ˂ rtable, indicating that Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected. This means that there is a correlation between the learning outcomes of music theory subject in its application to the practice of percussion instrument, but in a very weak level.

This article aimed to explain and describe about the improvement of learning the dance art in students by using peer tutor method in class XI IPS 1 SMA Pertiwi 2 Padang. The type of this research was classroom action research which was conducted as much as 2 cycles. The subject was the students of grade XI IPS 1 SMA Pertiwi 2 Padang which amounted to 23 people. The data were collected by using observation sheets of the skills as well as documentation for the research. The results of this research showed that learning the art of dance using peer tutor method succeeded to improve the students’ learning outcomes at class XI IPS 1 SMA Pertiwi 2 Padang. This was evidenced on improving students’ activities and student learning outcomes on cycle I and cycle II which increased primely. On cycle I, the overall student positive activities were 38,64% and student negative activities were 16,89%. While, on cycle II student positive activites were 63,03% and student negative activities were 11,58%. The overall of students’ learning outcomes on cycle 1 was 55,21, meanwhile on cycle II, it has been risen to 80,21. Thus, the use of peer tutor method to enhance the outcomes in learning dance art in class XI IPS 1 SMA Pertiwi 2 Padang has already achieved very well.

Abstract Music Composition "The Dream" is a music composition that the making is departed from an imagination laid out with the kind of Chamber Music by presenting new colorsin the composition of the creation, which form a complete work of music. This type of art work bases the music groove on the conventional true events and emphasizes the supportive atmosphere in the composition. The Dream musical composition consists of 4 main forms using tempo Grave, Adante, moderatoassai, and moderato, which can describe the atmosphere tha tis present in a dream. The dream thatcomes up is intrepeted by the autho as an outline view of reality that appears to the mind of a writer like remorse, emotion, uncertainty, sincerity and dreams. The presentation of music composition "The Dream" puts some basic instruments and supporting instruments with piano as the main melody, group of strings (Violin, Viola, Cello), saluang sirompak, saluang darek, and keyboard as accompainement in music composition encapsulated by the author in the concept of this show.
