Abstract

The research aimed to know the activity and studenst’ response in Basic Science Concept lecture by using multimedia based material to the students of PGSD S1 Campus V Makassar  Negeri University City Pare–Pare. Qualitative and descriptive statistic are used to analysed the data. The result shows that the average of exam 1 is 72,32 increase to 78,00 at exam 2. Observation Data towards teaching activity shows that 83,16% has fit to teaching scenario. Observation Data towards students’ activity shows the average score 85,71% good chategory. Students give positive response to all aspects with the range of 79 – 97%. As a conclusion, the use of interractive multimedia based material could improve teaching effectivity to Basic Science Concept lecture. Finally, it is recommended that lecturers should apply interractive multimedia based material in other subjects as a teaching model at PGSD S1 Makassar Negeri University City Pare – Pare Negeri

Abstract

Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is one of the diagnoses of children with special needs that are often found in elementary school students. They have difficulty in activities that require high concentration, including counting activities. This research is a narrative inquiry research that aims to describe the implementation of the Contextual Teaching Learning (CTL) method in mathematics learning applied by one of the teachers of SD Negeri 225 Palembang to students with ADHD. The data collection technique was done by interview. Research informants are teachers and parents of students diagnosed with ADHD. Based on the analysis of research data, it was concluded that the CTL model can be applied to mathematics learning for students diagnosed with ADHD by paying attention to several important things, namely determining the appropriate context for students, building closeness, making mature lesson plans, learning how to divert attention when instructed, patient and consistent.

Abstract

This application was prepared with the aim to remind the ips learning outcomes of students of grade IV SDN 46 Buton through the application of cooperative learning strategies jigsaw model. The learning outcomes referred to in this study are ips learning outcomes. The type of research that is in the study is PTK. This research was conducted in the even semester of the 2021//2022 school year. The study subjects were students of grade IV SDN 46 Buton which amounted to 16 students. Data collection techniques use observations, tests, and documentation. Data analysis techniques are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion withdrawal. The results showed an increase in the IPS learning outcomes of students in grade IV SDN 46 Buton, namely in the cycle by 66.66% (sufficient category), then in cycle II increased by 75% (good category). This is an increase of 8.34%. Thus the application of cooperative learning strategies jigsaw model can improve the ips learning outcomes of students of grade IV SDN 46 Buton

Abstract

This research examines the Applying Of Cooperative Learning Model Type Of Group Investigation To Increase Students Achievement Topic The Nature Of Light Grade IV  UPTD SD Negeri 58 Parepare. The problem of this research are 1) How can the applying of cooperative learning model type of group investigation can increase student process topic the nature of light grade IV UPTD SD Negeri 58 Parepare?  2) Can the applying of cooperative learning model type of group investigation to increase achievement students topic the nature of light grade IV  UPTD SD Negeri 58 Parepare?. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) and the approach used is a qualitative approach. The stages of classroom action research consist of 4 stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subjects in this research were fourth grade students of UPTD SD Negeri 58 Parepare for the academic year 2021/2022, totaling 16 students, as well as a teacher. Based on the data obtained during the implementation of the first cycle and second cycle, the results of the research for the first cycle of student learning outcomes with a completeness percentage of 73.43% were in the sufficient category (C). Meanwhile, for the second cycle, the percentage of completeness was 83.37% which was in the good category (B). From this research, it can be concluded that the process and student achievement Topic The Nature Of Light Grade IV  UPTD SD Negeri 58 Parepare by applying the group investigation type cooperative learning model has increased.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the description of parenting styles and learning motivation of fifth-grade students at SDN 2 Temulus and to determine whether there is an influence of parenting styles on the learning motivation of fifth-grade students at SDN 2 Temulus. This study uses a quantitative approach. The sample in this study used a saturated sampling technique, which took the entire population as a sample with a total of 28 fifth-grade students. The data collection technique used questionnaires and documentation, the data collection instrument used a parent and student questionnaire sheet, and the data analysis technique used quantitative analysis using the SPSS application. The results showed that the parenting style mostly used by fifth-grade parents at SDN 2 Temulus was democratic parenting with a percentage of 82%. The percentage of learning motivation of fifth-graders at SDN 2 Temulus is mostly in the "good" category as much as 39%. Based on the results of the linearity test, indicating that the significance value obtained is 0.856 > 0.05, it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between the parenting style variable (X) on student motivation (Y). Based on the SPSS calculation output, the calculated F value is 0.546 < F_table 0.553 so it can be concluded that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. This means that there is an influence of parenting patterns on the learning motivation of fifth-graders at SDN 2 Temulus during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

This study aims to determine mathematics learning motivation of elementary school students’ at Mangki Village, Cempa District, Pinrang Regency. This is descriptive research with quantitative approach. Population in this study is all of elementary school students at Mangki Village as many as 141 students and 59 students as sample. Research instrument was questionnaire with 36 statements adapted from ARCS questionnaire by Keller. Data was analyzed by descriptive statistics. Result of data analysis showed the largest percentage of students’ mathematics learning motivation was 50,85% and belongs to high motivation category. It can be concluded that mathematics learning motivation of elementary school students’ at Mangki Village in high category.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the feasibility and influence of multimedia-based pop-up book media on the thematic learning outcomes of fourth-grade elementary school students—research method using Research and Development (R&D) ADDIE design. The research subjects were 59 students. Data collection techniques used validation sheets, test sheets, documentation, observations and interviews. The data analysis technique used a feasibility test and an independent sample T-test. The results showed that the pop-up book media feasibility test based on multimedia is in the very feasible category, and the thematic learning outcomes of the experimental class students were more effective than the control class. The study results concluded that there was a significant effect of the use of multimedia-based pop-up book media on thematic learning outcomes. Students seem enthusiastic about participating in learning during the learning process, and it is found that there are social skills and student creativity in group discussions. Based on the research results, it is expected that researchers/teachers can innovate multimedia-based learning media to become more interactive so that learning becomes interesting for students.

Abstract

Lectora Inspire is one of the medias that can assist and overcome the difficulties associated with learning mathematics by connecting the information and fostering knowledge through the active participation of students during the learning process. The purpose of this study is to determine the efficacy of Lectora Inspire media on mathematics learning outcomes. The study employs a quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent pre-posttest control group design. The study enrolled 58 students using test sheets, documentation, observation, and interviews. The independent sample T-test and the N-gain test are used for data analysis. The results indicated that students in the experimental class who utilized Lectora Inspire media learned mathematics more effectively than students in the control class, with an average increase of 0.57 in the medium category, compared to 0.38 in the control class. The study's findings indicate a significant effect of Lectora Inspire media uses on mathematics learning outcomes. The use of Lectora Inspire media will help students gain a better understanding of mathematics and can accommodate students with a variety of learning methods. According to the findings of this study, teachers should be able to increase the interactive learning process, which will result in more effective implementation of mathematical learning.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the learning outcomes of fourth grade students of UPT SD Negeri 9 Benteng, Sidrap Regency who had not yet reached the predetermined minimum learning completeness standard (SKBM). The research approach used is a qualitative approach and the type of research used is classroom action research . Based on the data obtained, the research results in the first cycle showed the learning process was in sufficient qualification (C) and the learning test results were in sufficient qualification (C) while in the second cycle the research results on the learning process increased to good qualification (B) and the learning test results are in good qualification (B). Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the application of the two stay two stray type of cooperative learning model can improve the learning process and student learning outcomes about ethnic and cultural diversity in Indonesia in the fourth grade of UPT SD Negeri 9 Benteng, Sidrap Regency.

Abstract

This research was aimed to describe the responses of sixth grade students in elementary school number 29 Sanggau about online learning in mathematic class. The method was descriptive qualitative. The instrument for collecting data was questionnaire with yes and no questions consisting four indicators. They were (1) the students’ curiosity in online class, (2) the students’ motivation in online class, (3) the students’ satisfaction in online class, and (4) the students’ interest in online class. The questionnaire was analyzed used Guttman scale. The result showed that the percentage was 58.3% with the category of “low”. It was caused by the factors, they were the limitation of digital platform used during online learning, the bad connection in internet used in the areas, the unvaried application used for teaching learning process, which used whatsapp group. The problems in teaching learning process in the online class hoped can be solved by local education office and the use of varied application in online class.
