Abstract

This research was conducted at MI Nurul Ulum Wonosari with the subject of class teachers and 3rd grade students totaling 10 students. This study aims to analyze problem solving skills and interest in learning mathematics in multiplication material for third grade students at MI Nurul Ulum Wonosari. According to the result of interviews, the problem-solving ability of students is still relatively low, because they still cannot understand and solve story problems correctly. In addition, in the learning process the teacher has explained the material well, but the teacher has not taught them how to count multiplication in a simple and efficient way. Based on these problems, researchers will conduct reseach with qualitative methods, namely reasearch that aims to analyze the conditions that occur in the field, using descriptive methods. The tests carried out were by conducting interviews and distributing a number of test questions about problem solving and distributing questionnaires of interest in learning mathematics. After doing the research, it was found that the students’ mathematical problem solving abilities were in good category, and the result of the questionnaire distribution showed that students had a very high interest in learning mathematics.

Abstract

This research was to analysis of the ability to understand the concept and interest in learning mathematics multiplication theory in third grade of UPT SD Negeri 117 Gresik. The purpose is to describe how much students are able to understand the concept of multiplication and their interest in learning mathematics. The research is a qualitative research that used descriptive methods. The data used in this research were obtained using test and questionnaire. The is all third grade students of UPT SD Negeri 117 Gresik. The results showed in very good category there are 5%, in good category there are 36%, and in enough category there are 59%. Interest in learning mathematics is 32% in very high category and 68% in enough category. It can be concluded overall the ability to understand the concept in good category with percentage 70,8% and the interest in learning mathematics overall in enough category with percentage 74,5%.Concept Understanding Ability, Interests, Multiplication Theory.

Abstract

Various studies on the leadership management of madrasah principals in fostering teacher professionalism have actually been carried out in Indonesia. However, in Indonesia it seems that research is being conducted in State Elementary Schools. In line with this information, research that examines the leadership management of madrasah principals in fostering the professionalism of private Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MIS) teachers has never been carried out. Research like this needs to be done because it can provide information about how the principal or madrasah in managing their leadership optimally in fostering teacher professionalism. In addition, the findings obtained can be used as the basis for development research carried out in management learning. The purpose of this study was to find out how the Leadership Management of the Head of Madrasah in the Professional Development of MIS Teachers Nurul Iman, Kotasan. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. From the research that has been carried out by researchers, the results are that (1) Leadership management carried out by the Head of Private Ibtidaiyah Madrasah (MIS) Nurul Iman Kotasan in the Professional Development of Madrasah Teachers is by using Open Management. This is done so that all madrasa parties know and can act more honest and able to solve a problem together; (2) There are still a small number of teachers who still find it difficult to have professional skills in educating students; (3) Head of MIS Nurul Iman Kotasan continues to carry out his leadership management in fostering teachers to become professional teachers in educating students.

Abstract

This research was conducted by fourth grade students of MI Tarbiyatul Banin, in Jambu Hamlet, Semampir Village, Cerme District, Gresik Regency, East Java Province. This study aims to analyze the influence of interest in learning on the ability to understand the mathematical concept of multiplication. This study uses quantitative methods with data collection techniques using tests and distributing questionnaires to students. After conducting the research, the researcher found that there was a significant effect between students' interest in learning and understanding of mathematical concepts. In the normality test, it was obtained that the concept understanding sig was 0.052 and learning interest was 0.200, so the data variables were normally distributed. In the homogeneity test, the sig value of 0.408> 0.05, it can be concluded that the variable understanding of mathematical concepts and the variable of interest in learning are homogeneous. So the researcher will use parametric test. In the correlation test, the data obtained from the variable interest in learning and the variable understanding of mathematical concepts have a relationship or correlation because the significant value is r table, 0.570 > 0.339 so that there is a significant influence between students' learning interest on understanding mathematical concepts of fourth grade students at MI Tarbiyatul Banin.

Abstract

The curriculum is a guideline for the sustainability of an education system with the intention of achieving good learning targets and objectives. The independent curriculum is a learning design that is made in order to feel fun, active and pressure-free learning activities to be able to bring out natural talents that exist in students. The characteristics of an independent curriculum are to develop character according to Pancasila values by applying project-based learning. This research uses qualitative research methods of literature studies. The results of the study in the form of an interview with one of the teachers at the elementary school level said that the independent curriculum is a new innovation in education in Indonesia. The project-based learning model is one of the learning plans that can be an effort in realizing students in having character according to the form of the pancasila student profile. Activities carried out in project-based learning have an influence and linkage to form students according to the 6 dimensions that exist in the profile of pancasila students, namely faith and devotion to God, global diversity, mutual cooperation, critical reasoning, independent and creative. This character has a relationship that can be realized with the habit of applying the PjBL model to learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

The research aims to identify the effectiveness of audio learning styles, visual learning styles and kinesthetic learning styles through instructional videos for students. The research method used is a qualitative method of literature study. Learning styles that are in accordance with learning and according to students will make learning run effectively and well. Learning styles are divided into three, namely auditory learning styles, visual learning styles and kinesthetic learning styles, students use learning styles according to the characteristics of each individual student. Educators are required to be able to know the characteristics of students to determine learning styles in the learning process. Auditory learning styles, visual learning styles and kinesthetic learning styles can be combined into one and carried out simultaneously when learning takes place, combining auditory, visual and kinesthetic learning styles can train students' concentration because they utilize the senses of hearing, sight and touch. The combination of these three styles can be found in an education video, educators can explain these learning styles so that students are able to understand evenly the material being taught.

Abstract

The importance of developing Islamic education through research with various approaches, especially philosophical approaches, it is necessary to update the discussion and planning prospects for the development of Islamic education research, so that research and Islamic education are not stagnant and left behind. So this study aims to analyze the results of research on Islamic education that uses a philosophical approach and analyze the scope of Islamic education that needs to be developed through research that uses a philosophical approach in the future. This study uses two methods, namely netnography to answer the first research objective, and a descriptive approach to literature research to answer the second research objective. The analytical technique used in this research is philosophical-critical analysis. This study shows that (1) Islamic education research with a dominant philosophical approach uses library research methods and focuses on examining the ontology and axiology sides, such as the philosophy of goals, principles and basics of Islamic education, so (2) Islamic education research with a philosophical approach needs to be developed in the future. epistemological studies, such as teaching materials, materials, methods and evaluation of learning, thus the use of research methods is more of a field research to reveal the empirical reality of Islamic education.

Abstract

The background of this research is that in teaching of the worship practice subject, there should be a value of sense of plurality among the society, especially in Fiqh, thorough a content of Multi madzhab and teaching strategy. thorough The use of both things in teaching and learning , the sense of plurality can be achieved. The two problems used in this research, are the contents of teaching comes from one or various school or madzhab in fiqh and how it implemented to achive the purpose of teaching and learning goal. It is expected that the results of this research can be used as a parameter for both teaching and learning goal and a continuity of Worship Practice subject. This is a qualitative-descriptive research conducted in Islamic Education Departement of Education and Teaching Faculty of State of Islamic University of North Sumatra. The data were collected using the method of observation, interview, anddocumentation. The data analysis was conducted by giving the meaning of thedata that have been collected. From these meanings, a conclusion was drawn. Thedata validity was examined through triangulation including sources, technique,time and theory. The results of this research showed that thorough a content of Multi School of Fiqh, and its teaching strategy the sense of plurality can be achieved.

Abstract

This research is a qualitative descriptive study that aims to describe the implementation, responses of teacher and students and the difficulties exprerienced by students in implementing the SQ3R strategy (Survey, Question, Read, Recite, Review) during the learning process. “The subjects in this study were 25 students of grade IV UPT SD Negeri 304 Gresik. Data collection techniques used in this study were tests, interviews, observations. The results of this student indicate that activities are able to follow the SQ3R even thought the students had not previously learned about the SQ3R Strategy. Students can collect data independently and answer question made by themselves. The difficulties faced by students are asking questions and making conclusions from the contents of the reading text.

Abstract

Wahdatul 'Ulum is very urgent regarding the integration of knowledge. A number of Islamic tertiary institutions have transformed into universities with the expansion of scientific fields developed in the hope of providing solutions to problems of civilization and humanity and can give hope for spiritual quality and safety in the future. The State Islamic University of North Sumatra as an Islamic educational institution that has been in the process of integrating knowledge has determined that several courses must be in accordance with the concept of Wahdatul 'Ulûm. One of the subjects that must refer to the concept of Wahdatul 'Ulûm is the Koran. The Qur'an course is a compulsory subject for every faculty and study program at UIN North Sumatra. What is the material for the Koran subject in the Islamic Religious Education Study Program, FITK UIN North Sumatra. The Qur'anic materials in the perspective of Wahdatul 'Ulûm are far different because in general the focus is on reading and memorizing the Qur'an, especially on verses and surahs in the Qur'an juz 30. While the previous material is more broadly about the sciences of the Qur'an and related matters.
