Abstract

Indonesian education during the Covid-19 era entered a different situation. The real situation has long been predicted by technology experts that all areas of life will enter the realm of digital technology-based activities, including education. For this reason, education in Indonesia must be able to find new directions for education in formulating policies to be taken. One of the important things that must be prepared is at the education planning level. The problem that needs to be studied is how educational institutions formulate educational program planning during the Covid-19 pandemic while maintaining the quality of education. Educational planning carried out by educational institutions must reflect the existence of a vision, mission, goals and work plans, as raw materials or a reference for educational policies at the managerial level. This paper will discuss the education planning process in terms of its implications for quality-oriented education policy during a pandemic.

Abstract

Genggong performance art is a form of art in Batuan Village. Its existence in the midst of community life is closely related to the tourism industry. Its presence is currently increasingly squeezed by the Golbal culture which is not only present from modern (calcic) traditional arts but also contemporary culture. If it is left out it is not impossible that Genggong art will disappear. It can also erase the local cultural identity in Batuan Village. Efforts to optimize Genggong's art at this time are a problem. This not only arises because of internal problems from the Genggong actors themselves, but also externally the network that was cut off was often caused by factors playing in it. The importance of making this Genggong art present in Batuan is none other than the icon of the Batuan Culture village which has become a tourist village, worth fighting for given that cultural richness is a hallmark of genius society. In addition to optimizing the Genggong art, it has the opportunity to be a more useful touristic spectacle. The impact of the Genggong art problem in Batuan Village will also be a pilot project for the arts of the same fortune in the global era. In addition, financially the actors involved in it feel they have the opportunity to earn a fortune and protection. This study uses a cultural study approach that is more focused on solving problems to raise the issue of marginalization with cultural theories. It seems that through qualitative methods explanations can find a deeper analysis. Resolving the Genggong art problem can be a model for other traditional arts that also suffer a similar fate. The findings of this study at least give rise to a new awareness to jointly provide a way out of traditional Balinese art so that it can be enjoyed more broadly over time.

Abstract

Based on BPS in 2019, the highest middle class unemployment force is for SMK graduates, which is 11.24% of the total 7 million people. Based on this, it can be seen that the purpose and function of this vocational high school is not yet well underway, because with a ratio of 51% of Vocational High Schools and 49% of the total number of students absorbed by the industrial world to SMK graduates, only 35% while high school graduates 65%. This study aims to find a correlation between industry work practice experience on work readiness research was an ex post facto study. The study population consisted of TKR students who were carrying out industrial work practices in the official workshop of Indomobil Nissan Datsun in East Java in 2019. Data collection techniques were in the form of questionnaires for industrial work experience experience variables (X‚), work interest (X‚‚) and self-confidence (X‚ƒ), and for the work readiness variable there are three domains, cognitive and psychomotor domains, data collection in the form of tests, and affective domain variables in the form of observation. Data analysis of this study using multiple regression and assisted using SPSS for Windows. The results of this study are expected to There is a positive correlation between apprenticeship experience on work readiness (sig. Cognitive domain value of 0.001; sig. Affective domain value of 0.031; and psychomotor domain sig value of 0.004) in TKR students who are implementing apprenticeship in Indomobil's official workshop Nissan Datsun in East Java in 2019.

It as well looked at the causes of students failure in mathematics in internal and external examinations to include lack of understanding of mathematics language. The persistent poor performance of students in internal and external examinations in mathematics has become an issue of concern to Mathematics educators, and relevant stakeholders.  Findings of recent research studies in mathematics education have identified inadequate understanding of mathematics language to translate word problems into mathematical form as one of the factors responsible for poor performance. Hence, this paper examined the language of mathematics and its understanding. Specifically, the paper discussed the algebraic language; the language of basic operations; the language of set theory; the language of functions; the language of relations; the logical language and the language of differential calculus. The paper further examined the usefulness of variables; difficulties in learning mathematical language and made some recommendations among many others to include that mathematics teachers should teach the mathematical language instruction in mathematics before proceeding to the topic proper to enhance better performances of students in mathematics.
