Abstract

The implementation of team games tournament’s (TGT) type in increasing students competence in writing historical text story of Indonesian language with the aim to know the students competece in writing historical text story in XII IPS 3 class of SMAN 3 Selong. The researcher uses the action class research. The data collection is observation and test then use qualitative and quantitative descriftive analysis. The research is applied in two periods. The first period, there were nine students who got high value, seven students who got medium, and ten students who got low. So, in the first period only got 61,5%. It means that the researcher should do the next step. Meanwhile, in the second period, there were twenty students who got high value, four students who got medium, and two students who got low. So, the research in the second period by using cooperative learning team games tournament’s type in arranging travel text got the target that is 88,4%. The results indicated that TGT could develop the students competence in writing historical text story in Indonesia language lesson.      Key words: Kooperatif Learning; Team Games Tournament; dan Historical Text Story

Abstract

This study aims to describe the type of metaphor in the drama  script Senja dengan Dua Kelelawar. This study uses a type of qualitative descriptive research where unbound places analyze the form of descriptions that are not in the form of numbers or coefficients about the relationship of variables. The method used is content analysis by examining the contents of a document. In this study the document in question is a drama script Senja dengan Dua kelelawar. The data collection technique used in this research is the observation and note technique, because the data is in the form of text. The data analysis technique uses data reduction, data presentation and verification. Based on data analysis carried out on the drama Senja dengan Dua Kelelawar by Kirdjomulyo, it contains four types of metaphoric language styles according to the Parera theory consisting of 9 data anthropomorphic metaphors, 3 animal metaphor data, 7 data abstract to concrete metaphors, and 4 data synesthesia metaphors.Keywords: semantics; metaphor; drama script.

Abstract

This research is to describe (1) how is the form of grammatical cohesion in the song lyrics of "Aku Cinta Allah" Band Guardian Group, and (2) how is the form of lexical cohesion in the song lyrics "Aku Cinta Allah" Wali Band Group. Hasi and discussion of finding the grammatical aspects found are references (References) with the words you found, pelipapan (Elipsis) with each word found, and conjunctions (concatenation) with found lexical words and aspects found are repetitions (Repetition) found by the word Who You Are, Me, Help and Every, and Synonym (Comparative Word) love, love, weakness, and helplessness.Keywords: song lyrics; lexical; grammatical.

Abstract

This study aims to describe moral values and patriotism in the Disney Moana film. This research uses descriptive qualitative method, research data source in the form of Disney Moana film. Data collection techniques in the form of literature study. Data analysis techniques in the form of techniques see. The results showed that the moral values contained in Disney Moana Film were (1) animal lover, (2) soft heartedness, (3) working together, (4) happy learning history, and (5) not giving up. Meanwhile, the value of patriotism contained in Disney Moana Film, namely (1) faithful friends, (2) never give up, (3) brave, (4) love the motherland, and (5) admit mistakes.Keywords: Value, morality, patriotism

Abstract

This mini research aims to describe the form of speech acts in the locution, ilocution, and perlocution that exist in interviews RCTI journalist, Putra Nababan with the President of Purtugal, Antonio Covaco Silva.The research method in this research is descriptive qualitaive method. Sources of data from interviews RCTI journalist, Putra Nababan with President of Portugal, Antonio Covaco Silva. In categorizing the data, the researcher uses the techniques of referring, recording, and noting. Based on data analysis, it was concluded that interview between RCTI journalist, Putra Nababan and President of Portugal, Antonio Covaco Silva has an act of ilocution with assertive, directive, commisive, expressive, and declaration type.Keywords: locution, ilocution, perlocution, pragmatic study

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan ketidakadilan sosial yang terdapat dalam novel Anak Gembala Yang Tertidur Panjang Di Akhir Zaman Karya A. Mustafa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Metode yang digunakan untuk mendeskripsikan data-data berupa ketidakadikan sosial dalam novel Anak Gembala Yang Tertidur Panjang Di Akhir Zaman Karya A. Mustafa, kemudian disusul dengan analisis data. Dalam hal ini, data dalam penelitian ini berupa kata-kata tertulis bukan berpa angka. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatakan sosiologi sastra di mana pendekatan sosiologi sastra itu sendiri mempermasalahkan karya sastra itu sendiri. Adapun teknik pengumpulan daya dengan pembacaan, pencatatan, serta analisis paragraf berupa kata, frasa dan kalimat di dalam novel. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa novel Anak Gembala Yang Tertidur Panjang Di Akhir Zaman Karya A. Mustafa telah menggambarkan segala unsur ketidakadilan sosial pada kelompok tertentu dalam tinjauan sosiologi sastra. Hasil dari penelitian ini berupa; Strereotip, Marginalisasi, Subordinasi, Dominasi, dan Pelanggaran Hak Asasi Manusia (HAM).Keywords: Ketidakadilan, Sosial, Sosiologi Sastra, A.Mustafa

Abstract

This short "water" story by Djenar Maesa Ayu is the background of the life of a woman who struggled and worked hard to raise her child, without getting the responsibility of the prospective baby's father. The problem of this research is the struggle of female leaders. This study aims to describe the struggles of female leaders in the short story Air by Djenar Maesa Ayu. This study uses a feminist literary criticism approach. The method used is descriptive qualitative. The data source is Air's short story by Djenar Maesa Ayu. The technique used is the data validation technique. This research draws conclusions about the struggles of female leaders. Keywords: the struggle of female leaders; short stories.

Abstract

This study aims to know the difference on learning outcome of scientific writing paper technique between student who is taught by using drill and practice method with tutorial method study program of Indonesian Language and Literature Education at Faculty of Teacher Training and Education Hamzanwadi University.This study was comparative by using the experimental method with the quasy experiment design. This study sample was the fourth semester for student of Study Program of Indonesian Language and Literature Education at Hamzanwadi University.The data was collected by using test technique and analyzed using the ttest. the result of the analysis of variance showed that tcount 4.60> ttable = 1.68 at the significance level of 95% so that there was difference in the result of learning scientific writing paper technique of student who was taught by using drill and practice method with the tutorial method. Furthermore, if it is viewed from the average obtained, the learning outcome of student's scientific writing paper technique is taught by using a drill and practice method higher than the tutorial method.Keywords : learning outcome; drill and practice method; tutorial method.

Abstract

The context of current mass communication in Indonesia, especially on social media, shows news constellations that lead to hoax war and the spread of fake accounts (bots). This study aims to normatively understand the historical role of literature behind the emergence of these anonymous characteristics and the latest patterns presented in the public space. The internet as a communication laboratory is the main subject of content analysis. The results show that social media has the potential to expand and disseminate communication that is more intense and massive when compared to other internet mediums.Keywords: anonymous; hoaxes; communication.

Abstract

The research took the population and sample in the Mandalika special economic area by taking focus of research on maintaining the use of the Sasak language as a medium of communication for people living in Mandalika area. Where, this research uses tapping method to get linguistic data that contains several variations. The data variations are distinguished based on three types, namely family realm, realm of friendship, and social realm. From these three domains, linguistic data were analyzed using the SPEAK technique from Dell Hymes. The aim was to find out the extent to which community in Mandalika special economic zone maintains when communicating using the Sasak language. Thus, the results of this research were, the used of the Sasak language was still very strongly used by the community in the family realm, the second Sasak language was also still maintained in the realm of friendship, while those that have begun to experience a shift was in the social realm. The shift that occurred in the social realm was due to the large number of tourists from various regions in Indonesia and even from outside of Indonesia State. Therefore, people when communicating they were used their second language such as Indonesian or foreign languages.Keywords: Sasak, Language Maintain; Communicative Method, Mandalika
