Abstract

Results of observations made at MTs Islamiyah Sukopuro, in that school there are problems in solving math problems on SPLDV material from a cognitive perspective. In accordance with what was conveyed by the mathematics subject teacher for grade 8A, in the ongoing learning process it was found that the students' understanding of the material was low. This is indicated by the teacher giving questions to students, and not a few students make mistakes when working on these questions. The mistakes made by students include not understanding the meaning of the problem, errors in counting, errors in mastering formulas and mathematical concepts. So the purpose of this study is to describe the problems in students' errors in solving mathematics problems in SPLDV material in terms of cognitive and describe efforts to increase student understanding in SPLDV material in terms of cognitive. The method in this study used a qualitative descriptive method. This research was conducted at MTs Islamiyah Sukopuro, Jabung district, Malang district. The subjects in this study were grade 8A MTs Islamiyah Sukopuro. This study uses tests and interviews in the data collection process. The results of this study used tests and interviews in the data collection process. Based on the results of data analysis, this study can conclude that students' errors are reading problems, misunderstanding problems, incorrect procedures, missing conclusions, conceptual errors, drawing conclusions, language interpretation errors, calculation or computational errors, less thorough, hasty attitude.

Abstract

Fingerprints as evidence of very important material are believed to have unique and distinctive properties in the sense that no two individuals have the exact same fingerprint pattern, even identical twins have different fingerprint patterns. A person's fingerprint will not change for a lifetime. The objectives to be achieved in this study are to identify and identify the dominant fingerprint pattern in the ethnic population of Southwest Sumba, the students of IKIP Budi Utomo Malang.This type of research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach to identify the fingerprinting profile of the ethnic population of Southwest Sumba, the students of IKIP Budi Utomo Malang. The fingerprint samples taken will be analyzed at the IKIP Budi Utomo Malang campus. The identification results in the fingerprinting profile study of the Southwest Sumba ethnic population, the students of IKIP Budi Utomo Malang showed that the dominant general pattern was the Loop pattern with a percentage of 55.0% or 385 fingers, the second dominant pattern was the whorl pattern with a percentage of 42.29% or 229 fingers. While the first dominant sub-unit pattern is the Ulnar Loop pattern with a percentage of 52.71% or 369 fingers and the second dominant pattern is the Plain Whorl pattern with a percentage of 32.71% or 229 fingers.

Abstract

Abstract: Coffea chanephora contains secondary metabolites, such as alkaloids, flavonoids, terpenoids, saponins, tannins, and chlorogenic acid an ester group consisting by quinic acid, which functions to protect plants from attack by microorganisms or antibacterial compounds. Significant decrease in antioxidant properties after the drying process caused by the high temperature during the drying process so as to reduce the antioxidant activity of the sample. In accordance with research on the antioxidant resistance test of red kana flower, it was stated that the higher the temperature, the lower the antioxidant activity. The purpose of this study was to determine the growth inhibition of Escherichia coli. This study used an experimental method with “the post-test only control group design” in observing the effectiveness and optimal concentration in inhibiting the growth of Escherichia coli at 45oC. Coffee bean extract added with coffee leaf extract (Coffea chanophera) as an antibacterial on E.coli bacteria had an effect on inhibiting the growth of E.coli with concentrations of 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100% of coffee leaf extract (Coffea chanophera). added with 100% coffee bean extract (Coffea chanophera), all treatments were similar to the positive control but the diameter was smaller and significantly different up to a concentration of 100%.

Abstract

Naturally, language has sound as form and meaning to provide comprehensive understanding in communication. Sound or form is a representation of surface structure, while meaning a representation of deep structure. Language meaning in Semantics belongs to one of the most important elements being analyzed nowadays because it is the language soul. One of the interesting topics which becomes a great concern that people are discussing is ambiguous meaning that is always found on such expressions as words, phrases, and sentences in language. This article exposes the research findings on ambiguous expressions as found in the English essays written by the English students of IKIP Budi Utomo Malang. The research is descriptive-qualitative one as a content analysis since it describes phenomena which naturally occurs. They are ambiguous expressions such as words, phrases, and sentences on the English essays written by the English students. The subject of the research is the fifth semester students of 2018/2019 that totals 45 students taking English Semantics.The sample was then taken based on the certain criteria, namely their origin representation and competences which finally became 12 students. Based on the data analysis, it was found that the ambiguous expressions found on the English students essays covers lexical and structural ambiguities. In lexical ambiguity, it was found that not all the students’ English essays are lexically and structurally ambiguous. It means that some of the esssays are lexically and structurally ambiguous.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the optimization of cow urine liquid fertilizer on the growth of shallots (Allium ascalonicum L.). The research method used was an experiment using a completely randomized design (CRD), consisting of 5 treatments and 4 replications, namely treatment A (0 ml cow urine/polybag), treatment B (50 ml cow urine/polybag), treatment C (100 ml cow urine/polybag), treatment D (150 cow urine/polybag), treatment E (200 ml/l cow urine/polybag). Observations were made on shallot plant height, tuber wet west, number of bulbs, and tuber diameter. The results of the study, p<0,01 and p<0.05 on the calculation of wet weight and number of bulbs, as well as on the diameter of shallot bulbs so that the application of cow urine liquid fertilizer can affect the optimization of shallot plant height.

Abstract

This research was conducted because of the low level of development of teaching materials in the world of education. One of the developments of teaching materials that can be developed is a module. Along with the development of technology, the module has developed into an electronic module (e-module), in the development of this e-module using the Ispring application, the e-module is more interactive and interesting because the e-module can include material, images, video, and audio. , so that the e-module is more interesting. For the use of this e-module to be more practical, it is changed to be based on Android, where students can use the e-module according to their needs of students wherever and whenever. This study aims to obtain initial data in the development of an interactive e-module using an android-based Ispring application on the human digestive system and respiratory system material for high school students. This research uses a quantitative approach with a survey method by distributing a need questionnaire in the form of a google form to teachers and students. The data obtained were analyzed descriptively with the results of 100% teacher responses and 81% of student responses agreeing with the development of these teaching materials. From the results obtained from the needs analysis test, it is necessary to have a teaching material to support educators and assist students in understanding biology lessons, especially on the material for the digestive system and the human respiratory system, namely by developing an interactive e-module using an Android-based Ispring application

Abstract

Learning basically involves teachers and students as components of the audience. Professional teachers should be able to develop teaching materials independently according to the needs of students. However, teachers at Baiturrohmah Islamic High School Malang have not done this. Teachers still use worksheets on the market. Teachers have not used media that are able to motivate students in learning. The solution to this problem as well as the aim of the research is to develop a flipbook based on the Think Pair Share (TPS) model on plant growth and development materials. The research method uses R&D with a 4D development model consisting of define, design, develop, and disseminate. The research instrument used a questionnaire. This research is limited to the develop stage. The results showed that the percentage was 87.5% (material expert assessment), 80% percentage (media expert assessment), 97.6 percentage (teacher assessment), 87.5 percentage (student readability test). Overall the product is ready to be used in learning

Abstract

The main problem in learning is understanding the material in the form of a theory that is difficult to learn. Memorization will also be difficult to implement to understanding. So that using the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning model is the right choice, with the aim that students are able to understand the material by relating the material to everyday life. This study uses experimental methods, the static group pretest and posttest designs. Collecting data using observation and tests. The data obtained shows that Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning has an effect on learning outcomes because students are very active in learning. Students are enthusiastic in discussions and easily express opinions because it is related to what they have experienced.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of project-based learning on student motivation and self-efficacy. Project-based learning is a learning technique that has proven effective because it allows students to take an active role in their own learning process. By participating in a project-based learning model, students can build their own knowledge and reflect on their learning projects, resulting in increased motivation and self-efficacy. In this particular study, 80 students . The project in this research is a video production that requires students to work collaboratively. The results of this study support the idea that project-based learning has a positive influence on student motivation and is able to improve collaborative skills.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to study the effect of environmental sanitation in cowshed by farmers in the working area of KAN Jabung on the total bacteria in dairy cows' milk. This research method uses a descriptive method with repeated observations during the period of the sanitation process. Sanitation of the cage environment is carried out, namely the process of washing the cage using clean water. In observing the sanitation of the cage using an assessment sheet, it includes three components of requirements, namely: the location of the cage, the direction of the cage and the technical construction of the cage with supporting data, such as frequent illness of livestock. Testing for total bacteria in dairy cow's milk uses the TPC (Total Plate Count) test with data on average quality grades in morning milking milk. To find out the difference in the effect of sanitation from the three regions, the One-way Anova test was used. Meanwhile, to test the comparison of the average difference of the three regions using Duncan's test. The results showed that there was a significant effect in three areas of the cage between environmental sanitation in the cowshed on the total bacteria in the milk of dairy cows. The total mean bacteria from milked milk is ± 5.7 x 105 CFU/ml and meets the first grade of SNI. The type of water used for cage sanitation is thought to affect the total microorganisms in milk.
