Abstract

This study aims to determine the utilization of sago starch production on sago processed products at 5 times the potential of sago in merauke district. Data were analyzed descriptively, the population in this study were 5 districts with high productivity of sago farming in Merauke district, namely land sloping districts, curates, eligobel, ulilin and muting. Site selection by purposive sampling or deliberately. The results of the study showed that the five districts were not optimal for developing processed sago products due to lack of knowledge, expertise and limitations of technology adoption. Abstract

Crispy oyster mushroom agroindustry is now much appreciated by the public, especially the community. Crispy oyster mushroom agroindustry is a new business, but seen from the prospect, chrispy mushroom is very wide open because although it is a new business, many consumers like it because chrispy mushroom which is a kind of fried food is healthier because it contains nutrients from organic oyster mushrooms. This study aims to see how much chrispy mushroom income and business feasibility of chrispy mushrooms. The determination of the research area was carried out purposively. The method used to determine the sample is the snowball sampling method. Data collected in this study consisted of primary data and secondary data. Data analysis method is done by calculating business income with R / C ratio (Return Cost Ratio). The income was Rp 2,562,593.14 with an average income of Rp 160,162.07 per 1 time of production. R / C Ratio is obtained at 1.82, which means the business is feasible. Keywords: mushroom; oyster; crispy; income; agroindustry

Abstract

Sweet potato is one food commodity that has a complete nutritional content compared to other food commodities. Sweet potatoes can be processed into various forms or kinds of processed products, including chicken paws. Perbaungan District, Serdang Bedagai Regency is the center of production of all agricultural products including chicken paws. The purpose of this research is to know the process of processing sweet potatoes into chicken paws, knowing the added value of chicken paw processing and knowing the feasibility of chicken paw processing. The determination of the research area was carried out purposively. The method of determining the sample is the census method with a total sample of 12 processors. The analytical method used for calculating income is the difference between total revenue and total production costs, calculation of value added that is the value of the product minus the value of raw materials, the value of supporting materials and the value of equipment depreciation. Calculation of business feasibility is a comparison between revenue and total production costs. From the results of the study it can be concluded: 1) The process of processing sweet potatoes into chicken claws is classified as traditional because all stages of processing are still using human hands. 2) The added value of the chicken paw processing business is relatively low, that is, the added value of Rp 19,670,775.35 and the value added ratio of 40.75% ≤ 50%. 4) Chicken paw processing in the study area is feasible because it obtained an R / C value of 1.42> 1. Abstract

Merauke Regency is a relatively large agricultural area that has not been widely used so that the potential for the growth and development of cassava plants. Besides cassava has many benefits both for daily needs to be used as a raw material for many processed products. This study aims to determine the potential of the base area and the characteristics of the spread of cassava commodities in Merauke Regency. The study was conducted in 13 districts (districts). This type of research is descriptive research. This research uses purposive sampling. Analysis of the data used is Location Quotient (LQ), localization coefficient and specialization analysis. Cassava commodity base districts with harvest area indicators are Sota, Ulilin, Animha, Jagebob, Kimaam, Okaba, Elikobel, Naukenjerai and Merauke Districts. Cassava commodity base districts with indicators of total production are Sota, Ulilin, Jagebob, Kimaam, Animha, Elikobel, Okaba and Naukenjerai Districts. The characteristics of the distribution of cassava commodity farming activities with a positive localization coefficient value is 0.5966 and there are six districts that have a positive localization coefficient each year, namely the Districts of Kimaam, Okaba, Naukenjerai, Jagebob, Sota and Elikobel. Districts that have positive specialization coefficient values ​​specialize one of their agricultural activities in cassava commodities with an average value of specialization coefficient of more than one, namely 1.3088 and an increase in the value of specialization coefficient each year. Abstract

Merauke Regency is a candlenut production center in Papua Province with an area of ​​land and an ever-increasing amount of production. Candlenut area in 2009 was 114.50 Ha and in 2012 it increased to 207.00 Ha, which was followed by an increase in production by 50% between 2010 and 2012. This study aimed to identify the factors be strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats and formulate development strategies. Purposive research area determination in Yanggandur Village, Sota District, Merauke Regency. The population consisted of 12 people consisting of candlenut farmers, traders, and the government where all populations were sampled. Sampling was done by Purposive Sampling. The data used are sourced from primary data and secondary data. Data analysis using the SWOT method. strengths: availability of land and hazelnut plants in large numbers, the involvement of families and local communities in the business, business activities can help the family economy of farmers, the activity of processing candlenut in the village, how to market the results have reached the traditional markets, the large number of candlenut which falls out every season, the quality of hazelnut produced is quite good. Weaknesses are: lack of adequate equipment in processing activities, lack of business capital, long distance to the location of plants (from community houses to gardens and hamlets) for candlenut harvest, low knowledge, and farmers' desire in cultivation activities, low application of the system management in business, lack of farmers 'skills in processing the candlenut, lack of farmers' ability to do marketing outside the village, transportation facilities that support marketing activities are not yet smooth, the durability (quality) of hazelnut produced is still low. Abstract

This study aims to determine the commodity of any fruits that become the base of each subdistrict in Karo Regency, what commodities have fast and competitive growth in each regency in Karo Regency, the commodity of fruits of any base become a priority to be developed in each sub-district in Karo Regency. The results showed that fruits commodity which became base in Karo Regency were avocado, orange, mango, sawo, durian, guava, papaya, banana, pineapple, passion fruit, rambutan, salak; Fruit commodities have rapid growth in Karo regency are: avocado, durian, banana, pineapple, papaya, passion fruit; Commodities of fruits that have competitiveness in Karo Regency are: bananas, avocados, pineapples, passion fruit, oranges; Fruit commodity base that become the main priority in Karo Regency based on a combination of the Location Quotient (LQ) approach, the Proportional Growth (PP) component and the Regional Share Growth (PPW) that is banana , avocado, pineapple, passion fruit. Abstract

Merauke Regency has very good natural potential for the development of agricultural businesses, especially in the livestock sector. The process of improving the livestock sector has been supported by the government, namely a raised livestock program that aims to support the food needs of animal origin can be met from local procurement, one of which is buffalo cattle. The area in Merauke Regency which has quite a large buffalo population is the Kurik District with a total of 144 buffaloes. This study covers all districts in curik which are explorative in nature which are used to collect preliminary data, research data includes quantitative and qualitative data and promer and skunde data. Data analysis used in this study is descriptive analysis. The results showed that 17.39% of livestock farmers strongly agreed that buffalo cattle could be used as a permanent business, while 56.52% of livestock farmers did not agree if buffaloes were used as permanent businesses and 26.09% of livestock farmers did not agree. This is because buffalo livestock farmers only keep buffalo cattle in small quantities and only as savings or savings and grazing land which is increasingly diminishing because it is converted into agricultural land. The conclusion from this study is that not all buffalo breeders are willing to make their business a permanent business, and still rely on businesses in the field of food crops. Abstract

The fishery product processing group is a small industry in Makassar City with 128 groups with 292 tons of production. So that the existence of a small industry or home industry is expected to be able to absorb labor. In the fishery product processing industry will not be separated from Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP). Based on the GMP, the fishery product processing group compiles Job Analysis, namely selection of raw materials for production, handling of raw materials, product processing, selection of auxiliary and chemical ingredients, product packaging, product storage and product distribution. This study aims to analyze the level of employment for GMP job analysis. The study was conducted in Makassar City. The sampling method is non probability sampling, using the Slovin formula with a 10% accuracy limit so that the samples taken were 87 out of 654 people. Data analysis uses a combination of quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis. The results showed that 9% of respondents were tasked with selecting raw materials, 73% of respondents were tasked with handling and processing, 0% of respondents were selecting chemical and auxiliary materials, 10% of respondents were packing, 1% of respondents were storing and 7% were distributing. The highest absorption of labor is handling and processing while the lowest is selection of auxiliary materials and chemicals. This research is aimed to analyze the way of rice’s distribution and efficiency. This research use survey method and the place in Marga Mulya Village, Merauke district start from November until December 2012. This research take the datas that anlyze by margin distribution pattern, farmers share, vantage ratio of fund.The result is knowing there are 9 distribution ways that used by farmers in Marga Mulya. Abstract

The purpose of this study is what factors significantly influence the entry of modern agriculture industry in Kampung Wapeko. The place and time of the study was carried out in Wapeko Village, Kurik District. The population in the study was 79 households. Data analysis method with Linear Regression Analysis with Binary Logistics. Results and discussion Social factors as independent variables are X1 (health quality), X2 (quality of education), X3 (community interaction). Economic factors as independent variables are X4 (family income), X5 (employment opportunities). With an error range of 5%, there are no significant variables that have an impact on the agricultural industry for the community in Kampung Wapeko. It was concluded that the entry of the modern agricultural industry did not provide an impact on the social and economic community in Kampung Wapeko Keywords: industry; agriculture; social economy
