Abstract

This research aim to determine the level of preference to the characteristic (texture, flavour, color and aroma) in nugget that subtitued with a seaweed (Kappaphycus alvarezii) and sago flour. Type of this research is a quantitative research with experimental approaches using a completely randomized factorial design consist of two factors, namely factor A is seaweed (control, 200g, 300g, 400g) and factor B is sago flour (control, 15%, 25%, 35%). All the treatments was tested as 16 treatment combinations. Each treatment combinations was repeated4 times that obtain 64 units experiment. The data of this research was obtained from the result of organoleptic characteristics test using hedonic scale scoring method. The results of this research showed the most preferred texture obtained in the treatment combination A2B4isformulation of 200g seaweed and use 35% of sago flour, the most preferred flavour obtained in the treatment combination A1B1is formulation of chicken meat with maizena flour or nugget control, the most preferred color acquired in the treatment combination A1B2isformulation 200g of chicken meat with substitued 15% of sago flour and the most preferred aroma obtained in the treatment combination A2B4 is formulation of 200g seaweed with substituted 35% of sago flour

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the quality of local microorganisms (MOL) produced from various types of fruit. This research method uses a completely randomized (ral) factorial pattern design with 2 factors, the first factor is the addition of papaya and banana. While the second factor is the length of fermentation time is 0 days and 7 days. The data was processed using of ANOVA analysis techniques with further test duncan. The results showed that local microorganisms with the addition of papaya fruit were the best treatment with value that were 1.49% nitrogen levels, 0.12% phosphorus levels, 0.71% potassium levels, and total microbes from day 0 to 5.79 log10 colony/ml, and 7th day that is 7.87 log10 colony/ml.

Abstract

The aims of this research was to determine the effect of giving MOL toward growth, survival and production of kale. This research used a completely randomized design, which consists of 4 treatments and 3 replications  consisted of A treatment (24%), B treatment (30%), C treatment (36%)  and control. Parameters that was observed include growth, production and survival. Technique of  data analyzed using analysis of variance. The results showed that the treatment of MOL concentration had an effect on the growth and production of kale. However, it  no effect on the survival rate of kale. The best treatment has resulted from the addition of MOL concentration of 24%  with  characteristics plant height was 46.73 cm, the number of leaves was 45 strands on 28 days after planting, weight per plant was 14.67 g, and weight per polybag was 39,91 g after planting

Abstract

Feed in the cultivation of catfish become the main factor affect the success of cultivation. This study aims to reveal and survival of nursery thorugh adding leaf cassava dust to feed. This study uses a T test (one sample T test) to compare treatments with the provision of organic feed and commercial feed consisting of 3 replications. The dose of feeding is 3% of the weight of the fish for 30 days of maintenance with the frequency of feeding twice a day. Parameters observed included weight growth and survival as well as temperature, pH, DO and NH3 of catfish. The results showed that the provision of organic feed in the African catfish nursery did not have an effect on the parameters of weight growth and survival. Overall treatment of feed with the addition of cassava leaf flour supports catfish growth which can be seen in the growth of catfish weight which increases during maintenance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the extent of damage to coral reef ecosystems in East Luwu regency, determine the causes of coral reef ecosystem damage and formulate the right strategy plan to preserve the ecosystem of coral reefs. The results showed that the condition of coral cover in medium category (average percentage of live hard coral 32,7%).Damage to coral reef ecosystem caused by destructive fishing fish bombing and anesthesia activity (51,68%), sedimentation factor and eutrophication (25,97%), fishing gear, anchor and ship grouding (20,57%), and predation factor (1.79%).The priority of coral reef management plan are: (1) Rehabilitation of coral reef habitat and endangered species protection; (2) Rehabilitation of forest area in the upper river area; (3) Modernization of fishing and utilization of appropriate technology; (4) Establishment of a network of Conservation Areas for the protection of coral reef ecosystems; (5) Integration of zoning plan of coastal and marine areas with Provincial Government; (6) Development of reception facilities and integrated wastewater treatment plant in coastal areas; (7) Optimization of infrastructural facilities and infrastructure for coral reef ecosystem supervision; (8) Empowerment of community watchdog groups to support the intensification of supervision; (9) Increasing the human resources of the apparatus through technical training on the supervision and management of coral reef ecosystem; and (10) Development of tourism and environmental services to support economic improvement of the community.

Abstract

This is class action research which aimed to improve the student’s achievement in plant aplication concept quality of agricultural at the X class in SMK Negeri 3 TPHP Takalar. The subjects of this research consisted of 21 student’s. Recearch procedure includes planning implementation, observations and reflection. The data that has been collected; is analyzed using quantitative and qualitative data.  Based on the result of the research, it can be concluded that the aplication of Powerpoint media can improve the student’s achievement. Abstract

This study is a classroom action research (Classroom Action Research) aims to determine the learning outcomes of students in the vegetable crop agribusiness subjects by using a complex instruction type cooperative instruction (CI) model. The subjects of this study were the 11th grade students of ATPH SMK Negeri 4 Luwu in the odd semester of 2017/2018 school year consisting of 23 students. This research was carried out for two cycles consisting of activities, namely: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Collecting student learning outcomes data is done by using observation sheets and student learning outcomes test sheets. The results of the study show that the initial test of students with an average value obtained is 35.7% and the test in the first cycle (I) the average score is 76.1% while in the second cycle (II) the average score is that is 85.91%.

Abstract

The study aims to determine the effect of substitution of corn flour in the production of cookies and cookies hedonic test results. Research carried out two stages. The first stage, the process of making corn flour. The second stage, of making cookies with concentration of wheat flour (100 g, 85 g, 80 g, 75 g) and cornstarch (0 g, 15 g, 20 g, 25 g). This study uses a completely randomized design (CRD), which consists of a single factor, namely the concentration of cornstarch 0 g, 15 g, 20 g and 25 g. Data were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA) followed by a further test DMRT. In all aspects of testing the color, flavor, aroma and texture have F count> F table means that there is a real difference in each sample cookies experimental results. The results showed that the concentration of cornstarch similar in chemical quality of the water content of cookies as cookies. Cookies are most preferred treatment concentration C (25 g)

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of labor, capital, and mileage at sea the income of fishermen in the village of Pangali-Ali District of Banggae Majene. Data collected by direct observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study concluded that the capital variables and mileage at sea have a significant impact on fishermen's income, which means that any capital increase and additional of mileage at sea, then there is an increase in the income of fishermen. which means that any capital increase and additional mileage at sea, then there is an increase in the income of fishermen. While the variable labor has no effect on the income of fishermen fishing in the Village Pangali-Ali District of Banggae Majene.

Abstract

The objectives of the research were (1) find out the concentration of tartrate acid (2) extraction timeof betacyanin on red dragon fruit skin.  The research employed  experimental research using Complete Randomized Design (CRD) factorial pattern by the concentration of tartrate acid 0.50%, 0.75%, 1% and 1.25% and extraction time 3 days, 4 days and 5 days. The obtained data were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA). The result showed that (1) the extraction using tartrate acid concentration of 1% for3 days  (K3T1)  produced  the highest  level  of betacyanin content (2)  analysis of  pH  (3,  5,  6,  7, 8)  and temperature (40oC, 50oC, 60oC) showed the extraction of the red dragon fruit skin were stable at pH 7.Extract without treatment of optimum pH addition stabilized at 40oC, while the result of red dragon fruitskin’s extraction by addition of optimum pH stabilized at 50oC.
