Abstract

Communicating using unggah-ungguh basa Jawa or correct Javanese speech acts is currently one of the obstacles for students in the Java area, especially class VII students at SMP 4 Kudus. This is proven by the low average score on the Javanese pacelathon material. Based on these observations, it is necessary to apply the role playing learning model to improve polite Javanese speaking skills in the language unggah-ungguh basa Jawa speaking material. The aim of this research is to improve Javanese Krama speaking skills through role playing models. The results of the research show that learning outcomes in the unggah-ungguh basa Jawa speaking material have increased in the sufficient category, which was originally 46%, experiencing an increase of 64% in cycle 2, which means that in cycle II there were no students in the sufficient category. Furthermore, for the less than 14% category, in cycle 2 it increased to 86%. In cycle II, it showed that 100% of students were in the good (57%) and very good (43%) categories. The conclusion is that after studying with the role playing learning model, class VII A students originally had a class average score of 73.6, after implementing the role playing model it became 88.5. The conclusion of this research is that the role playing learning model improves Javanese Krama speaking skills.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology and science in the 21st century requires individuals to adapt to emerging challenges. As a result, individuals must have 21st century skills to be able to deal with various problems and difficulties that arise. However, in Indonesia, the application of mathematics learning approaches and models is still largely dominated by a scientific approach combined with direct teaching, even though the government through the Ministry of Education has instructed to implement learning models that are constructive, interesting and innovative, such as discovery learning, problem-based learning, and project-based learning. To implement interesting and innovative learning in trigonometry material, knowledge of technology, pedagogy and content (TPACK) is one of the important factors that teachers must master. The purpose of this article is to report the use of a technology-based learning approach to develop mathematics teachers' TPACK competencies and the transformation of their knowledge in integrating technology into mathematics teaching practices. The research method used is descriptive qualitative to explain the concepts of TPACK analysis in learning. The results of this study illustrate that TPACK competencies can be specifically considered a core attribute for future mathematics teachers, because learning models using technological tools can help students develop mathematical understanding and influence the practice of mathematics teaching methods for teachers. In addition, mathematics teachers' TPACK competencies can have a direct impact on student learning in mathematics lessons. This shows that a technology-based learning approach can play an effective role in preparing and improving TPACK competencies for mathematics teachers.

Abstract

Challenges encountered during the Industrial Era 4.0 include information technology security, the reliability and stability of production machinery, insufficient skills, resistance to change among stakeholders, and significant job displacement due to automation. This study aimed to investigate variations in digital literacy skills between students using modules and those not using modules in a flipped classroom setting at SMKN 4 Bojonegoro. The research employed experimental quantitative methods, utilizing observation and student test results for data collection. Data analysis involved the use of an independent sample T-TEST. The results of the T-TEST indicated that the average score for the module group was 78.53 with 30 participants, while the non-module group averaged 73.3 with 30 participants, resulting in a difference (diff) of 5.2. The statistical significance (p-value) in the Pr(T>t) row (under Ha: diff > 0) was found to be less than 0.05, confirming a statistically significant difference between the two groups. This study concludes that students' digital literacy skills in the software engineering program at SMKN 4 Bojonegoro are higher when using teaching modules in flipped classroom learning compared to those who do not use modules. This research contributes to the educational database at SMKN 4 Bojonegoro, particularly for class XI students in the software engineering expertise program.

Abstract

Urgensi penelitian ini ialah pentingnya memanfaatkan budaya lokal Indonesia untuk penguatan pendidikan karakter peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) Mengetahui makna simbolik pada motif batik jetis sebagai etnoedagogi masyarakat Sidoarjo, 2) Mengetahui nilai-nilai pada motif batik jetis sebagai etnopedagogi masyarakat Sidoarjo, 3) Mentransformasi makna simbolik dan nilai pada motif batik jetis dalam penguatan karakter profil pelajar Pancasila. Metode penelitian yang digunakan menggunakan studi literatur dengan cara memahami dan mempelajari teori-teori dari berbagai literatur yang berhubungan dengan penelitian ini. Lebih jelas, studi literatur yang digunakan ialah jenis systematic literature review. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Batik jetis memiliki beberapa motif yang mengandung nilai kerja keras, peduli lingkungan, kejujuran, cinta damai, mandiri, keindahan, dan kesetiaan. Nilai batik jetis tersebut berkaitan dengan nilai karakter profil pelajar Pancasila yang meliputi: 1) Beriman, bertakwa kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa, dan berakhlak mulia, 2) Mandiri, 3) Bergotong-royong, 4) Berkebinekaan global, 5) Bernalar kritis, dan 6) Kreatif. Hubungan antara nilai pada motif batik jetis dengan nilai karakter profil pelajar Pancasila kemudian ditransformasikan ke dalam pembelajaran IPS materi keragaman sosial budaya di Masyarakat.

Abstract

One of the challenges in education is the deficiency in critical thinking and problem-solving skills, which can be attributed to the limited implementation of approaches that foster problem-solving. This study seeks to determine whether problem-solving skills within the Project-Based Learning (PBL) model affect students' learning outcomes at SMKN Sugihwaras in light vehicle engineering. The primary aim is to investigate the impact of problem-solving skills, fostered through the PBL model, on the learning outcomes of these students. The research adopts a predictive quantitative approach to foresee the influence of problem-solving skills within the PBL framework on student learning outcomes. Data collection methods include observations and student test results, while data analysis is conducted using simple linear regression. This statistical method assesses the effect of a single independent variable on a dependent variable. The simple linear regression analysis results reveal an R-squared value of 0.6063. This indicates that 61% of the variance in learning outcomes (y_score) can be explained by problem-solving skills (x_score), with the remaining 39% attributed to factors outside the model. Consequently, the study concludes that the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected, and the alternative hypothesis (H1) is accepted, demonstrating a significant impact of problem-solving skills within the PBL model on the learning outcomes of class XI students at SMKN Sugihwaras.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in strengthening the Pancasila student profile at Al-Azhar 15 Semarang Islamic High School. Using a qualitative research design with a case study approach, this study explores the various roles of PAI teachers, including their roles as parents, coaches, scientists, storytellers, and therapists. The study involved 3 PAI teachers with more than 5 years of teaching experience, 1 principal as a key informant, and 10 students who were actively involved. The data collection methods used were in-depth interviews, participatory observation, documentation, and questionnaires. The findings show that PAI teachers play an important role in providing emotional support, moral guidance, practical skills, leadership development, critical thinking, and addressing students' emotional and psychological challenges. Despite facing challenges such as time constraints, resources, and student resistance, PAI teachers significantly impacted students' moral awareness, social skills, leadership, and spiritual development. The findings are in line with previous research that emphasises the importance of holistic and integrative character education. This study underscores the need for support and training for PAI teachers to optimise their role and shows that religious education can significantly contribute to students' character building. Overall, PAI teachers at SMA Islam Al-Azhar 15 Semarang play an important role in shaping students' Pancasila profile, highlighting the significant contribution of religious education to students' character development.

Abstract

Education is a major component in national development that functions as a means of developing human resources. In the 21st century, technological advances facilitate access to education, but there are still challenges in improving students' knowledge and skills. The modern learning paradigm emphasizes creative, analytical, cooperative and collaborative thinking skills. Students' creative thinking skills in Indonesia are still lacking. Many factors hinder students' creative thinking abilities, including conventional or teacher-centered learning methods. The Treffinger learning model is proposed as a solution to improve students' creative thinking skills with three important elements: independent learning, idea generation, and creativity. This study aims to analyze the urgency of improving creative thinking skills through treffinger learning. This study uses a qualitative method through a systematic review with data obtained from a literature review. To achieve the research objectives, relevant sources are needed to answer the research questions and other related references are collected through the search process. Furthermore, the analysis is carried out by collecting various scientific journals and books related to the research variables. The results of the literature review study indicate that treffinger is independent learning, the main key is finding concepts or information through events experienced by students during teaching and learning activities. From the results of the analysis of several references obtained, it is known that this treffinger learning makes the subject matter easier to understand and remember the material. In its application, the treffinger learning model integrates cognitive dimensions and effectively finds the direction of problem solving to be taken. The results of the analysis can be concluded that Treffinger learning is effective in improving creative thinking skills in all subjects and can be applied to students and college students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi pendekatan technology pedagogical content knowledge terintegrasi ajaran Tri N (niteni, niroke, nambahi) berbantuan media poster digital dalam mengembangkan kreativitas siswa SD. Implementasi pembelajaran dilaksanakan pada mata pelajaran SBdP terintegrasi dengan IPA. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian yang diteliti berjumlah 18 siswa kelas VI SD. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dengan observasi, dokumentasi dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan tahapan pengumpulan data reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dengan mengimplementasikan media poster digital melalui pendekatan TPACK terintegrasi ajaran Tri N membuat siswa mempunyai sikap kreativitas yang tinggi sehingga mampu menciptakan karya inovatif yang dapat memberikan bekal bagi siswa supaya mampu menyesuaikan diri dengan perubahan zaman.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has changed the role of teachers in education, especially in biology teaching. Teachers now act as facilitators who support students' exploration of knowledge through digital platforms. This research method uses a literature study to explore the role of teachers as facilitators in biology learning in the digital era by analyzing relevant literature such as books and journal articles, where the subjects of this study are Biology Teachers. This approach begins with determining inclusion and exclusion criteria, collecting relevant literature, summarizing the main findings from the sources reviewed, comparing findings from various sources, and compiling the results of the analysis. The research findings show that digital technologies such as simulations, virtual laboratories, and online resources increase students' interactivity and understanding of complex biological concepts. However, challenges include teachers' technological skills, infrastructure limitations, and resistance to change. Recommended strategies include technology training for teachers, investment in technological infrastructure, and creating a school culture that supports innovation. With this support, teachers can optimize digital technology to create more engaging and effective biology learning experiences, facilitate student engagement, and develop their critical thinking skills and creativity. This research is expected to have a significant impact on the development of biology learning strategies that are appropriate for the digital era.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas V dalam pembelajaran matematika. Kemampuan siswa kelas V SD Negeri Rawarengas 2 untuk berpikir kritis menjadi fokus penelitian ini. Pendekatan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa SD Negeri Rawarengas 2 kelas VB. Siswa yang termasuk dalam kategori memiliki kemampuan berpikir kritis tinggi, kemampuan berpikir kritis sedang, dan kemampuan berpikir kritis rendah termasuk di antaranya. Dalam penelitian ini, tes, wawancara, dan dokumentasi digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data. Siswa dengan kemampuan berpikir kritis tinggi memenuhi semua indikator berpikir kritis, siswa dengan kemampuan berpikir kritis sedang memenuhi tiga indikator berpikir kritis, dan siswa dengan kemampuan berpikir kritis rendah hanya memenuhi satu indikator berpikir kritis. Penelitian ini disarankan bagi guru, siswa dan penelitian selanjutnya dalam kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada mata pelajaran matematika.
